The view is the first thing that hits you. The setting of this hotel is gorgeous and the view is awe-inspiring. The service here was impeccable, most specifically the service for breakfast and the restaurant in the evening. We had two spectacular meals here overlooking the pool area and the view to the east beyond. Our room was enormous and extremely comfortable. We slept phenomenally. The pool was refreshing and clean, and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Everything exceeded our expectations. We did rent a car and it definitely helped us explore the island.

Gerofinikas Boutique Hotel is an exceptionally lovely place to stay. Yes, the rooms are smart and beautifully designed; yes, the pool and sea views are gorgeous; yes, the food, both at breakfast and dinner, is of a very high standard and full of interesting traditional delights - but it is the people who run it who make this fabulous hotel so special. Spyros and his mother could not have been more friendly and welcoming; the staff in the restaurant were wonderful too and we absolutely loved gentle Gabriel, the beautiful dog! Contrary to what some other reviewers say, we didn't feel it was necessary to hire a car. Apollonia, Artemonas and Kastro are each only 20 minutes away on foot, making this a great location. If you don't mind a little walk, it's easy to get around and the island's designated walking trails are superb.

A fabulous place to stay on Sifnos! Family owned boutique hotel with gorgeous sea views. The best Greek breakfast is served each morning with made to order eggs if desired. The rooms are very clean and nicely designed. The pool area is nice with chairs/umbrellas and bar service. It was very difficult to leave Gerofinikas! You will love it.

Spent our Babymoon here and could not have asked for a better hotel. As soon as you step in, you instantly feel relaxed. The service was top notch, rooms were modern and clean, and the pool was so refreshing! The breakfast was some of the best we’ve had and always looked forward to it. We also tried their lunch which was delicious as well. Best of all, you will never get tired of the views! We hope to come back again one day!

Beautiful stay at Gerofinikas! This family run boutique hotel was everything we hoped for and more! Really peaceful setting, beautiful views & well located with an easy walk to both Kastro and Apollonia. Also great breakfast included. Rounded all off by gorgeous Gabriel 🐶 Thank you for a wonderful stay!

pro: - nice view - very friendly staff (reception & restaurant) nice welcome process - for the transport to the port there was no taxi available. the owner was so friendly and dropped us at the port con: - price / value ration is not fair at all; 400 eur per night (standard rate even 520 eur) is way to expensive for the room - you can hear the people in the neighbouring room talking / you hear the shower from the other room - no coffee machine in the room - no cosmetic tissues in the room - breakfast is okeisch; savoury variety could be better (however the tomato bruschetta one day were delicious) - no privacy; if you are sitting on your terrace; you are just next to the next neighbours terrace Said to see that some accommodations are just overrated or very overpriced. care about the environment (no impact on given rating) - shampoo are now a days no longer in those small samples but in big bottles (trash reducing) - the lighting system of the plants, stairs etc. are not needed during daylight time (e.g. 7.50 a.m. not necessary) (saving energy)

One of the most beautiful accommodation you can have in the island! Amazing views, people, service! And I truly mean this! Enough space to park the car safely, really good breakfast and specially coffee. I will come back!

Maybe best hotel I’ve ever stayed at… Beautiful views overlooking the medieval city of Kastro. Salt water pool, amazing breakfast, incredible bed and pillows… Will miss this place very much
