I have come here several times with my young son. The place is clean and has very nice pastries. The variety of baking goods is impressive. I usually drink matcha or decaf, so I can't really speak to quality of coffee, but drinks are made well.
Now to the part of why this place exists. It is a non-profit that facilitates adoption of cats. It also sells souvenirs. The cats can be observed through a (plastic?) glass window or if you are 5 years or older, you can pay a fee and go in the room where cats are. Great idea but the place is really not made for young children unfortunately. It also does not have ADA entrance, so you can't come with a stroller or wheelchair. Another problem is that if you are small and short which most young children are, you can't see cats unless you are held up. The place has a window sill, so to speak, adjacent to the aforementioned window through which one can see cats. But that window sill cannot be used as something to put your young child on. I have done it several times and was not told that I cannot use it, but during our very last visit, one of the workers told me to take my child off of it. The place also has high (flimsy) bar stools, but those are only suitable for adults.
So overall it is a cool place to have snack and look at cats but unless you are a very tiny human. Which unfortunately a lot of tiny humans like to do, to look at animals.
Otherwise good place with good purpose and tasty pastries. But just doesn't welcome everyone.
Expect the usual check to be $10-15 per person. I also didn't see bathrooms there but maybe I just didn't look hard enough. They also run out of coffee lids. Some don't care but I do. So that's my 2 cents.
