The team from Get a grip was friendly, easy to deal with and efficient. I showed up with my cassette fully broken and got an unbiased advice on the fix needed. The price of the labour was good value compared to the other prices I’ve seen around. The repair was done in 15 minutes in the morning of a weekday, just in time so that my bike would be ready for my commute to work. Highly recommend!

I received impeccable service from Troy at this shop. I dropped my bike off after shearing my bike's derailleur on a Saturday, and my bike was fixed by Tuesday evening. he did this despite needing an old and specialist part. i also feel I was charged a very reasonable price for this service. highly recommend

I've visited the workshop on several occasions over the past year for issues/ maintenance on race and road bike. Troy is very knowledgeable and committed to solving some quite complex issues which helped me get back on the road and racing again. He's clearly passionate about bikes and really shows in the quality of service. Very fair pricing, quick turnaround, and friendly - everything a local bike workshop should be. Highly recommend.

Great, thorough service. Troy was patient and explained which parts I would need after components from my bike were stolen; he gave me guidance from the day I randomly popped in to query him. Once I had the right parts it was plain sailing from there and I'm back on my bike again. I'm likely to use this workshop for future servicing and it's paired with the London Cycling Campaign, so worth it for multiple reasons 👍🏻 also great value for money

Short review, these guys are so great I highly recommend them. For locals, it is a wonder to have such great service so close. I got a new bike and kit from my works cycle to work scheme through these guys and it was an effortless process. They even advised me on the best products withib my price range. Lily did an amazing job handling all the admin and Troy in the bike shop is a really genuine bloke. He took a look at my bike gears and chain when I took it back for a check, free of charge. Can't thank Get A Grip enough, I will for sure be back!

I dropped my bike on Friday, collected first thing on Monday so I could ride to work, perfect. Rides super well. Its always a great service with easy communication. Cannot recomend highly enough.

Very Kids friendly!!! My child's bicycle wasn't working properly, but it was quickly fixed. The missing screw was also replaced, and my son was very happy. Thank you!

Took my mountain bike in, got a service, shortened the handlebars, replaced a wheel and got new break pads. No fuss, I just walked in on the Monday morning and had it back in a week. Lovely customer service!

This independent bicycle repair / servicing workshop opened in summer 2011, and I had such a great experience when I went there for the first time this week that they now have a regular customer, and I also felt motivated to write a rare online review! Outstanding customer service (eg personalised text messages updating you on progress of your service), excellent quality of workmanship, customer-friendly opening hours, and keen pricing. I called round 3 other places (both independents and chains) and their pricing was the most competitive. They have various tiers of service available and once they see the bike recommend which you need (not necessarily the most expensive they recommended a more basic one for mine). They also offer as standard a free follow-up check to ensure everything is still working smoothly, 4 6 weeks after every service, which I believe is unique among bike workshops (at least I've never seen it anywhere else anyway). They also really know what they are doing on the technical side the mechanic Troy said he has been doing this for 15 years. A proper old-school independent bicycle workshop the place is owner-managed and you get the feeling that they really care about you as a customer. Would not hesitate to recommend them.
