I really didn't feel like this escape room lived up to the standards of others in the area. It honestly felt ghetto and cheap. The room we were escaping from was tiny (when we saw it, we thought, this is it? The six of us felt very squished), there was no employee interacting with us as an actor in the room or from a loud speaker, and several of the puzzles were super frustrating because they weren't working the way they were supposed to. (Like all six of us not being able to read a hidden message that was supposed to be legible through special goggles, or tapping a specific rhythm with a metal stick over and over without it working until the umpteenth try).
Also, we had a giant screen with a clock counting down our time that appeared about midway through our hour, and when it got down to the last minutes, we were rushing like crazy to get through the last clues. When we got the door open with seconds to spare (according to the countdown), an employee walked through the door and congratulated us on getting out with over 10 minutes to spare (???) We didn't really understand his explanation, but apparently that was a countdown to reach a certain clue and it would have given us 10 more minutes after it ended ...? So basically we felt a bit jipped getting super stressed and frustrated with the clock ticking down so fast and then not even getting to enjoy the game for the full hour... so we paid $40 a couple for about 45 minutes. Then the employee led us out to the sketchy back lot and left us there, and that was that.
