A Taste of Ghanaian Delight! After years of discovering High Restaurant online while searching for authentic Ghanaian cuisine, I finally had the chance to visit—and it didn’t disappoint! With a project nearby, I decided to walk down and try their offerings. While I couldn’t have the waakye I had hoped for, I opted for the jollof rice with beans, egg, and plantain instead. Every bite was a delight—rich, flavorful, and well worth the price. A great spot for anyone craving authentic Ghanaian flavors!

Good local food. No one is here for the ambience

The best of the best ęwâ àgôyîn in town with correct dodo and fish or fried meat. Correct Naija and Ghana Jollof rice mixed with some sumptuous salad and fish. Nä d food wey make sense like Ghana High Restaurant I want to dey chop 😜@ghanahighrestaurant

I have visited this restaurant and I enjoyed their services and I had to take the photograph of the building and the adjacent building, Although I may not have this restaurant main photograph but I promised you guys to go see what the indoors looks like very soon in my next review on this particular restaurant.

It is located on Mcthacy Street, near the TBS. The Building 🏢 formerly host the Ghana High Commission hence the name of the Restaurant is called Ghana High Commission. The Restaurant Staff are actually Togolese from Togo, West Africa 🌍. The Cuisine is delicious and affordable.

Ghana High is a restaurant in Onikan that sells mainly jollof rice, white rice, and the popular agoin beans

Their jollof rice is nothing but rubbish just concoction rice , their salad so messed up with onions and macaroni, imagine that in salad 😡😡😡😡

Hidden gem on Lagos Island. Located in the building that used to be the Ghana High Commission back in the days. Entrance is on the left side of the building. Parking is is very limited. Inside the decor needs a refurbishment. As you enter the smell of the food hits you. You can order for takeaway or sit down. Takeaway containers available outside or inside. Food is good, portions are okay. Price wise, a bit above average, but then you're on the island. Definitely will be going back.
