I wanted to love this place, I really did. I've heard really great things and the location is perfect. "This could be our new fancy cocktail bar!" I thought. Sadly, I was mistaken.
Everything from the start was great - the lighting and atmosphere is super cool. Decorations are on point, drinks looked great. We even found a table, PERFECT. The waitress that was helping the table next to us handed us a menu, said hello, and then disappeared. 10 minutes go by, she's helping other tables; 15 minutes, she's actively avoiding eye contact with us; 20 minutes, now she's just hanging out with her friends with no intention on taking our order. Strange, if we were told to order at the bar we would have without waiting no problem. But the fact that she was taking everyone else's order while exclusively avoiding our eye contact make me feel like I wronged her family in a past life.
We eventually got fed up and got drinks from the bar while she still sat with her friends yapping away. While I was up my wife said that she finally got her attention, waved, and the waitress took no care to see if anything was needed.
In the end, the drinks were very good and strong, and in fun tiki mugs, but the service made the entire night so unfortunate. I shouldn't be spending $35 for two drinks after 20 minutes of playing a waiting game.
