The Best Restaurants For Lunch In Downtown LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"There are subs, and then there are the cold-cut behemoths you get at Ghost Sando. This deli stall tucked away in the back corner of Grand Central Market bakes its crackly, slightly sweet dutch crunch in-house, and stuffs each 8” roll to the brim with meat, cheese, and their delicious housemade sauces, like the BLAST that tastes like smearable pepper jack." - brant cox, sylvio martins, cathy park

The 17 Best Restaurants At Grand Central Market - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Considering all the unique options at GCM, a sandwich counter might not seem that exciting. But this little deli stall tucked in a back corner is among the best lunches here. What sets Ghost Sando apart from your average sandwich shop are their housemade, toasted dutch crunch rolls. Every single sandwich comes on one of these crackly, chewy loaves with a golden-brown slightly sweet crust. It instantly improves everything it touches, from spicy Italian cold cuts like the “Uncle Nikki” to hot pastrami-filled behemoths like the “Pastrami Mami.” Sandwiches run $10-$16, but they’re all massive enough to stretch for two meals." - brant cox, nikko duren, sylvio martins

Google
Ghost Sando is a great sandwich stop! Big sandwiches coming out here every single time! With the option of L, XL & XXL. I got the L Melrose, which is like a way better than ever super version of a BLT with all the right extras. Boyfriend got the Kickin Chicken, also delicious, no complaints ate it all in one sitting. For a lady like myself, the large was filling and I only ate half in this sitting. My go to at the market cause it’s two meals in one for me! Cold and hot sub options and a little selection of Dirty Deli Style Potato Chips. Come thru it’s yummy!

Andrew G.

Google
Absolutely incredible. I just finished the Melrose sandwich, and it might be the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Every bite was perfectly balanced and full of flavor. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop here—you won’t regret it!

Google
Fairly priced sandwiches. I mean, one could argue it's just a sandwich, but there's enough uniqueness here, that it makes it worth a try! The crackled crust of the bread was interesting. Not super crispy like a French baguette, but that toasty sugary crustiness was almost like a concha, but a nice and thin crackled layer. Plus, the salami had a nice peppery kick to it, and the vinegar and sauces they put in weren't overloading. Fresh ingredients, everything was of the nice proportions. Of all the choices at the market, you can get analysis paralysis easily, so just come here and fill your stomach. You won't regret it.

John O

Google
Came to try the signature Melrose sub. Didn’t care for the bread that much. Subtlety sweet and needs more crunch. Ingredients of the sub were good and had plenty of flavor. Service is indifferent and not friendly. Value here is bad - $14 for a 6 inch sub. Glad to try it but won’t return.

Google
Ghost sando in Downtown inside of Grand Central Market does not ever disappoint. Sandwiches are always served quickly and always delicious

Google
I am very picky 👹 about sandwiches 🥪 but this shop is the best, we have got Firebird and Uncle Nicky 🔥 definitely recommend and will come back

Mark C.

Google
Came by the market to look at all the options and this place stood out for quick service and an extremely attentive staff. We were asked if we needed anything about 3 times while they were busy. For a quick grab and go sandwich shop, I would highly recommend off of service alone. The bread is a nice e compliment to the meat alongside the veggies and dressing. Don't skip on this place just because it's a sandwich shop. Will be going back again next time we visit.

Jimmy T.

Google
Food is waste more spice than I thought and they put like lots of sauce on the Melrose. By the time I got home, the bread was completely soaked. Maybe next time I’ll eat the sandwich there

Yelp
These guys know how to make a killer sandwich! Super fresh ingredients! Cools spot, fast service and perfect for a quick bite.

Yelp
My new favorite sandwich shop! Decided to check out Grand central and had to stop at Ghost Sando since I've heard so many good things. While it's in the middle of other store fronts, it would be hard to miss with all the signs. The menu is extensive but I went with the BLT sandwich after asking which sandwich's were the most popular. I wasn't disappointed. The sandwich was a huge portion, flavorful and delicious. Service was great and moved quickly. I would say it took about 10 minutes for me to get my sandwich which wasn't a crazy wait since other people had put in orders as well. Grand central is overall busy but you can't miss the restaurant and you shouldn't have an issue finding somewhere to sit. It's a lively place but it's also fun as well! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Everyone knows a pool day calls for sandwiches! I ordered a club sandwich and while it was tasty, one side of the sandwich was soggy!! I've had ghost sandwiches before albeit from the Fairfax location but those sandwiches came delivered perfect. We ordered from the DTLA shop as we were just around the corner so I figured the sandwiches would be extra good because we are so close there's not a chance it would get soggy that fast. Well I was wrong lol. Idk if it was due to the store or the delivery person. Soggy sandwiches are never it but we did our best and ate around the soggy parts. Love the Dutch crunch bread!

Yelp
Ghost Sando Shop Longest line in Grand Central Market which generally means good food or lack luster workers that can't keep up. This ace is the first, good sandwiches Santa Monica Toasted Dutch Crunch Roll smeared with house spread with Pastrami, Oven Roasted Turkey, Thick Cut Bacon and melted Pepperjack Cheese and topped with house slaw (lettuce, red onions, pepperoncini tossed in house spread) and Roasted Red Pepper and sprouts. Melrose Toasted Dutch Crunch Roll smeared with famous Melrose spread and packed with Black Forest Ham, Oven Roasted Turkey, Thick Cut Bacon and melted White American Cheese and topped with house slaw (lettuce, red onions, pepperoncini tossed in Melrose spread) and tomato These 2 sandwiches are excellent and the Dutch Crunch Bread is the topping of the cake.

Yelp
I got the Melrose -- it was a pretty hefty, warm sandwich. I only managed to finish half and saved the rest for dinner!
google avatar

Danny M.

Yelp
Definitely a nice selection of subs. They are a chain, albeit, a small one. So if you do the "Chain" sandwich thing, check them out!
google avatar

Yelp
If you like Ike's sandwiches, you'll like Ghost. Ghost is like a slight tier above Ike's, but just not that close to me to go to Ghost. When I'm in the area thoughhh... I might act up. Service at this location was great, they were helpful and gave me recs, which I loved. I ended up with the Santa Monica (8.2/10) only cause they told me it was a bit on the spicer side, and I love that. Ambiance was nice, it is a food hall so it's bound to be packed with a lot of people but also a lot of good food. Would I get this again? Yes, only if I'm in the area though. Much love!
google avatar

Yelp
solid sandwich choice any day. opt for at least the 1.5x meat and they will load ur sandwich up dutch crunch bread is the perfect complement to the soft and warm meats. staff was friendly and keep in mind this place gets busy with many online orders.

Yelp
As an avid sandwich lover and someone who spends way to much time at the Grand Central Market, it was finally time to have my first sandwich from Ghost Sando Shop. This shop is located right in the first aisle and thanks to it's bright paint job and cool aesthetic, this place is pretty hard to miss. The menu here has consists of both breakfast and lunch, offering three sandwich sizes, as well as a pretty solid selection for both meal times. Even though it was hard to decide, I finally pulled the trigger on the "Kickin' Chicken" and a pineapple passionfruit drink to help wash it down. There were four of us and the food didn't take too long to come out, but thanks to this place being packed it can be pretty difficult to find a place to sit down sometimes. The pineapple passionfruit drink was absolutely delicious! It was super fruity, cold, and as refreshing as a drink could be. The Kickin' Chicken sandwich was a pretty decent size considering I ordered the smallest one, but packed some dang good flavour for the chicken which also had whatever the blast spread is, chipotle adobo spread, melted mozzarella, cheddar cheese, lettuce, pickled jalapeno, toato, white onion, and some of the best bread I've had with a sandwich in a long time. IT WAS SO GOOD! Overall, Ghost Sando Shop is the premier sandwich place in Los Angeles and I totally get why now. Quick service, solid prices, and amazing food is going to bring me back here many more times!

Yelp
Made it out to GCM and knew I had to finally give Ghost Sando a shot. I ordered the firebird sub with regular Turkey and it did not disappoint. Everything was well made and delicious. But I do want to note the subs on the higher end, I paid nearly $40 for two subs and 1 bag of chips. I do wish the chipotle sauce was a bit more spicy but it was still a great bite. My friend ordered the pastrami mami and that was equally as delicious. The service was great, your standard sandwich counter. GCM is always bustling but there's tables both inside and out but we took our subs to go.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite sandwiches of all time, chef's kiss. Ghost Sando seriously knows what they're doing. The Dutch crunch roll is absolutely next level, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and it holds up so well with all the fillings. I personally love the Melrose, the flavors are balanced, rich, and just so satisfying with every bite. The ambiance at Grand Central Market is busy and bustling, full of energy and hustle, which adds to the whole experience. Despite the crowd, the service at Ghost Sando is great and super quick, so you don't have to wait long to get your hands on one of these amazing sandwiches. If you're a sandwich person, this is a must. I'm obsessed.
google avatar

Yelp
Always a good choice and very consistent. I've picked different sandwiches every time and all have been great.

Carlos G.

Yelp
Food 10/10 Portions size 10/10 Customer Service 10/10 Drink selection is so good. Team was really helpful
google avatar

Yelp
Was in the area for a conference and stopped by GCM and Ghost Sando for lunch! Ordered the Firebird sandwich which comes on a Dutch crunch bread, similar to that of Ike's. Size options are L, XL, XXL, and an XL was enough to split for 2 people and came out to ~$20. The sandwich was well-constructed and a bit too large to physically fit into my mouth, but that's a good problem to have. The BLAST sauce had a good level of spice. Service was quick. Between this and Ike's, I'd probably stick with the latter because of prices, but this is a great option to return to if I were in the area again!
google avatar

Bath-Sheba M.

Yelp
Liz was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for your help. She was about to answer my questions effectively & suggested a sandwich i loooooved!!! Thanks girl! I'll be back!
google avatar

Stacee S.

Yelp
I really wanted to try their breakfast sandwich but my coworkers and I came during lunch so I got the tuna and it was good! That Dutch crunch bread was the star for me. Big sandwich too, full of tuna and veggies. I could have easily saved half but I didn't lol. A little pricey ($20 for the sandwich and chips) but I wasn't surprised considering the economy these days and the location in grand central market. Great service and fast overall.
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
We got a tornado hot sandwich and a firebird cold sandwich. Both sandwiches come on Dutch crunch. The tornado had a sweet and zesty flavor while the firebird was more savory and packed a good amount of heat. They were both good and quite filling. I'd definitely try other flavors the next time. Perhaps one of the Italian style ones.
google avatar

Angel H.

Yelp
This sandwich was pretty good! They toast the bread which makes it feel nice & fresh. The bread for the sandwich is really good, it's soft but has a good crunch to it since it's toasted. The customer service was great too, the one who took our order was cracking jokes & very attentive. They had stools to sit on & eat, very casual space since it's inside the Grand Central Market.
google avatar

Jono M.

Yelp
I gave Ghost a wholehearted chance after I'd heard some good things about it and ultimately there is nothing bad about it but there's also not much to write home about. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken was in thin slices, which I was not expecting. My friend ordered a sandwich with turkey in it but we both came to the same conclusion--the star of these sandwiches were the bread and sauce. If that's your thing, you'll be so happy but since it is not mine, the sandwich left more to be desired. Service was fairly quick, especially for Grand Central Market. So in that regard, it may be what you're looking for.
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
In Grand Central Market, this shop has very large sandwiches with a great crunch crust. We tried the Melrose and it was delicious. Definitely a place where you can share a sandwich!
google avatar

Donald S.

Yelp
Grand central market can be intimidating at times. Soooo many options! But who am I kidding? I am a sandwich guy though and through, and I know a good sandwich when I see it. Sure it's called Ghost sando, but there's nothing scary about what these guys are whipping out of the back counter. The Santa Monica is a flawlessly built sandwich, perfect in every way. Meat to bread ratio? Check! Fresh ingredients? Check! Soft white bread? Check! That spread/aioli that brings it all together? Check! Pastrami, bacon, turkey, pepperjack and home made slaw, all on the famous Dutch crutch roll. I can't think of a single criticism regarding this sandwich. And to think this is only the second most popular menu item! My love for food halls is well documented. There are few, if any, more iconic than grand central market. And if I am being honest, there are even fewer with this variety and this level of quality. Grand central is a national treasure, and Ghost Sando is easily one of its crowning jewels! Did I not mention how insanely huge these sandwiches are?
google avatar

Sim P.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Ghost Sando for a while even though i've passed by it so many times inside Grand Central but finally decided to give it a go! This location is located inside Grand Central market so the vibes are hustlin and bustling in there. The staff was friendly and did give some recommendations on what most people get but we decided to just go with a classic. We were there on a Monday afternoon and waited 5 minutes so service was quick. My husband and I got the XL Club to share and asked for it to be heated up! It comes 1.5x more turkey. It was on their famous double crunch bread, it had turkey, bacon, mustard, mayo, avocado spread, pepperoncinis, lettuce, tomato, aged cheddar, and their BLAST sauce. It was a hefty boy, that's for sure! My husband and I split only one half of the sandwich and saved the rest for later since it was so big! Overall, it's a good solid sandwich! The bread was tasty and had the perfect texture of softness and crunch when biting into it. It was hefty but a fresh tasting sandwich. I will say though, nothing really stood out for that WOW factor. I've had better sandwiches, i've had worse but it's literally just a solid good sandwich. For the price and size, i'd get it again but I might try it with a side of one of their sauces next time and also try out some of their other sandwiches!

Yelp
I was really excited about this sandwich shop and it got really good reviews, but I was disappointed. We went to the one in Grand Central and it's right by FTW. The location is great because you can order other food if u want to as well. One complaint I have about the ambiance was it was a bit crowded and hard to walk around. We ordered the Melrose and Uncle Nikki sandwiches and got our food fairly quickly. We got the sandwiches to go and it didn't hold up at all. We waited about 30 minutes until we ate the sandwich and the bread was soggy. It was hard to eat since everything was wet and it was just sloppy. They did put a lot of ingredients in the sandwich, but honestly I would say you're better off with Jimmy John's or Jersey Mikes. This place is expensive and not worth the money in my opinion.
google avatar

Renee P.

Yelp
I ordered from the GSS again today. I got the Uncle Nikki, my go to. GSS is definitely consistent. I don't know who's making these sandwhiches, but they need an award for sandwich making. I'm in the office today so I ordered from DTLA. When I order from home, the one on Melrose/Fairfax is just as good.

Dennis M.

Yelp
Ghost Sando Shop is the one of the best sandwich place in downtown LA. We ordered the Santa Monica sandwich and it is so freaking good. You'll surely go for a second time. We ordered online because it was convenient, and not knowing that we ordered in the different location. Luckily Edward the store manager is kind enough to fix that for us. He called the other location to cancel our order and he made our order right away. Great service! He takes care of customers very well. The place is always pack during lunch but they are quick in making your order. Definitely recommending this place if you like a fresh delicious sandwich.

Yelp
One of my foodie friends originally wanted to visit this sandwich shop in Grand Central Market, but we ended up getting food at different stalls because because Ghost Sando Shop ran out of certain sandwiches. Well I am not the type of person about to give up, so I stopped by this stall again the following day. The founder of Ghost Sando Shop originally started Ghost Pizza (https://www.yelp.com/biz/ghost-pizza-kitchen-los-angeles) and transitioned to Ghost Sando Shop in late 2023. The sandwich shop is known for huge sandwich portions, meats from Boar's Head, and signature 8" Dutch Oven Bread. Currently Ghost Sando Shop have 4 locations - Melrose (flagship location - LA), Toluca Lake (Burbank), Huntington Beach, and Grand Central Market (Downtown LA). [Parking]: Grand Central Market has a designated parking garage - $5 flat rate for 90-minute parking. [Order]: I didn't have to wait for too long as my order was ready in 5 minutes. [Menu]: 10 hot sandos and 9 cold sandos - Uncle Nikki is the most popular cold sando and the smallest size customers can order is large. Ghost Sando Shop only offers large, XL (1.5x large), and XXL (2x large). All sandos are the same length and they just get taller with increasing size. *** Uncle Nikki (Dutch Crunch Roll packed with Genoa Salami, Pepperoni, Capicola and covered in Provolone Cheese layered with Mayo, Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onions and Pepperoncini and drizzled with homemade Italian dressing, oils and herbs - $16 large): Damn what a killer Dutch crunch bread! Not only did this cold cut sandwich have all of right ingredients, it also had the perfect meat-to-lettuce-to-dressing ratio. Just perfect texture from Dutch crunch bread and amazing flavors. The Melrose (Toasted Dutch Crunch Roll smeared with famous Melrose spread and packed with Black Forrest Ham, Oven Roasted Turkey, Thick Cut Bacon and melted White American Cheese and topped with house slaw [ettuce, red onions, pepperoncini tossed in our Melrose spread] and tomato - $16 large): Personally this hot sando was not as good as Uncle Nikki (cold sando), but I could taste quality of these ingredients. *** 5-star worthy sandwich shop and it was certainly one of better food recommendations from my foodie friend. I could have a large sando here and eat half for lunch & half for dinner.
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
This place like every other one in the Grand Central Market is always busy. There are a variety of sandwiches to choose from whether it be cold or hot. If you aren't hungry or come with a big appetite Ghost also has three sizes to choose from, this gives you more meat and cheese as you go up sizes. I went with the Club which comes with turkey, bacon, and cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, peperconcini, stacked in between the Dutch crunch bread used here. Lathered with the Blast and avocado spread. The price is about the going rate for a meal here. Take it to go or enjoy the hustle n bustle of the market while you enjoy your sandwich. Will definitely came back to feed my spirit with another Ghost Sando.
google avatar

Jasmine B.

Yelp
There was a long line at the taco stand, so I switched last minute to Ghost Sando. The cashier recommended the pastrami or the most popular sandwich The Melrose. I chose The Melrose and loved it. If you're from the Bay you know Dutch Crunch but it's rare for sandwich shops to have that bread in LA. I wish the dutch crunch had more bold flavors, but since it's on most of the sandwiches and many aren't used to it, I understand the subdued aspect. The toppings were fresh and well thought out. Just a perfect sub. A bit pricey for a sub but the quality is worth while. The customer service is next level. Not just my personal interaction but how they interact with all guests. I love great customer service. Ghost Sando really does it all and I will definitely make the trek here.
google avatar

Abby G.

Yelp
This place was really good! Kinda pricy but I really enjoyed the sandwich. I got an Italian cold sandwich which was super flavorful. The bread was a bit on the harder and dry side. I would come back and try different sandwiches!!
google avatar

Bruce S.

Yelp
Moved to downtown from the west side and this is the best Italian sandwich I've had out here so far. Always craving a good sub. "The Uncle Nikki" is Ghost Sando Shop's version of an Italian sandwich. It's great but has a CA twist to it with the bread they use. It's not the typical hard roll you'd find on an East coast grinder. Bay city is still my favorite Italian sandwich spot out here in Los Angeles, but I'm glad to add this spot to my list when craving a good sandwich.
google avatar

K I.

Yelp
Great sandwiches, good service. the Mob and Club are delicious. Bit heavy on the sauce. The mob has chopped mortadella but i wish it was whole sliced only bc the chopped bits slide out. Love the thick bread they use bc it prevents sogginess. We got the large subs and they are plenty. You could easily split one sub and be full. Definitely recommend and will be back to try more sandos
google avatar

Hayley C.

Yelp
finally tried Ghost Sando Shop, the one in Grand Central Market!! parking was sort of easy, it's the Grand Central parking garage but there's always so many people there so you have to drive up like at LEAST 5 levels lol, and it's $5 to park for 90 min which isn't too bad. the sandwich itself came out pretty fast after ordering, and it was actually really good! I thought it was gonna be overrated tbh but it was actually tasty af. the XXL we got meant there was like extra cheese and meat, but I would've preferred just XL. but still, really delicious sandwich!! the inside of grand central market has plenty of seating, has a bunch of other places to eat too, and has a restroom downstairs.
google avatar

Toni W.

Yelp
Had to feed the moving guys and some friends and I'm not sure why I opted to take 6 different orders, but I did and we were all satisfied to no end. They have some special house sauce that I added to everyone's orders and it was a hit. For me the bread was a little firm, but the no one else complained, so it might've just been a preference thing. I would definitely order from here again.

Betsy F.

Yelp
Delicious Dutch bread sandwiches! We went to Grand Central Market for lunch unsure what we wanted, and saw a few people eating Ghost sandwiches at their counter and they looked so good so we got them too. I got the Veg Out since I'm vegetarian, my daughter got a custom sandwich, and my bestie got an Uncle Nikki. Great customer service friendly and clean we will return!
google avatar

Mai V.

Yelp
They're located in Grand Central Market but also have a few other locations as well. I imagine the ambience here is more energetic than the others. I had heard great things about Ghost Sando Shop so wanted to give it a try. The people helping us with our order were great, very accommodating and friendly. Ordered the hot sando Santa Monica. The toasted bread was good but I have to admit the ingredients seemed a little off. The proportion of the sauces made the sandwich too soggy and a little unappealing. Couldn't really appreciate the taste.
google avatar

Julianne C.

Yelp
solid sandwiches in grand central market but with the classic la price markup. i was expecting a pretty subpar sandwich but was pleasantly surprised. the portion size was nice, i got the Large. the dutch crunch was really delightful! service was quick and friendly. ambiance is loud, grand central market is usually pretty lively and crowded. i'd recommend stopping by if you're craving a sandwich in the area!
google avatar

Anhvy T.

Yelp
I was in the downtown area and wanted to check this place out after seeing all the good reviews. I ordered their most popular sandwich, the Melrose and it did not disappoint. I'm not too much of a sandwich person, but I thought this really hit the spot. The portion size is huge, with the regular size being enough for 2 meals. Taking down a star because it was around $17 for my sandwich and I find that to be on the pricier end.
google avatar

Juan F.

Yelp
I love me a good cold cut sandwich. I got their Uncle Nikki and it was pretty satisfying. The cold cuts were generic boars head but what makes this sandwich is their amazing bread. A tad pricey, but for GCM thats what you have to charge to pay rent.
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
I stopped in for lunch this past week. The choices were abundant but I settled on the Santa Monica - hold the mayo and red onions. The portion of the standard size (Large) is generous. But if you're so inclined, you can always upgrade to the X Large or XX Large for more meat and cheese, not just more bread. The bread is great... Dutch crunch adds a nice textural element and it holds up to all the filling with a great ratio of bread to everything else. The woman at the counter was friendly and took our order quickly. She was patient as we decided and answered all our questions without any annoyance. Grand Central Market is always busy, especially at lunchtime. But it wasn't hard to get in and out of their stall.

Carolina M.

Yelp
Best sandwich in DTLA. Probably tried almost all of them, and they are all fresh and carefully prepared. Team is very quick and efficient. Long term customer and will continue to come
google avatar

Candice T.

Yelp
Not really a fan. I came here midday on a Saturday, there was essentially no line. The cashier was not very helpful and despite me spelling my basic name for him he just put the first letter and gave up. I ordered the vegetarian sandwich. It looks a lot better than a tastes. The bread was very dry and crumbly and did not taste fresh.
google avatar

Edmund W.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon, and despite the market hall being busy, the Ghost Sando shop was not, and only had to wait behind one party to order at the counter. I got the Melrose sandwich, I would estimate it took about 10-15 mins for them to make the sandwich. I really liked the Dutch Crunch that they use as the bread, along with the combination of black Forrest ham, turkey, and bacon with their cheese and slaw. Their smallest size, which they label as Large, was already enough for me in portion wise. Surprisingly, the flavor profile for the sandwich did not feel heavy and the slaw was delicious. $16 before tax is a bit pricey for a sandwich, but the ingredients were top notch for this sandwich. I would definitely come here again to try another different sando. The stall is located in the middle left side of the Grand Central Market Hall.
google avatar

Kimberly H.

Yelp
First time here, recommended by a friend. Did not disappoint. Fast service, cool atmosphere at this location. Parking structure near by. Definitely walkable from a lot of places locally. Big menu with lots of options. Fair prices for what you're getting. Tons of flavor! Highly recommend. Will return. Friendly staff that was also helpful.
google avatar

Chris F.

Yelp
I got the pastrami Mami for lunch. I thought it was pretty good when it was fresh. I ate half right away and aaved the rest for later. Idint lkie it as much later. The bread was a bit too sweet for my liking but not bad. Decent portion but kind of pricey. I spent around $20 for a L size sandwich and a water. It was pretty busy during lunch, waited for about 10 minutes for my sandwich.
google avatar

Emily A.

Yelp
The Ghost Sando Shop is awesome, we went to the one in downtown in the marketplace. One thing I must say is thank goodness there is an option to order online and I would recommend if you are going there to order online so you can just stop by and pick up because the wait can be a while. We did the online order and then stopped by to pick up at the time it said it was ready. The sandwiches are very big and hearty and packed with flavor. We picked up a couple to have for work the next day and they tasted just as good the first day as the second day. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
I've been seeing Ghost all over social media, and as someone who LOVES a good sandwich, I knew it was going to be right up my alley. The sandwiches here are hefty and honestly I thought they were a great size for the price. I got the Phoenix and the Club sandwiches, which were both fantastic. The Phoenix was a bit smaller, but did not skimp on the flavor. The Club was def my favorite, and just an overall great, well-balanced sandwich. So glad this spot exists in Grand Central Market, and I'll definitely be back. Solid spot for a quick lunch.

Yelp
Wow! Hands down the best sandwich shop I have had. I'm a huge fan of Jersey Mikes but this place definitely beats them. Perfect spot in the Grand Central Market which compliments its ambience. For such a busy area and shop, the service was A+. Pricing was perfect as well. What a fantastic place. Trust me. I keep it real with my reviews and this is absolutely fantastic.

Yelp
Delish sandwich. I have stopped at the HB location and this one was better. Good crunch bread, meat and veggies ratio was perfect and a good price.

Yelp
I honestly didn't think a sandwich could taste this good. I ordered The Terminator and will probably keep that on repeat for a while before I try another one. The Ghost Sando Shop perfected the taste and texture of their sandwiches. Here they actually craft the sandwiches, mix ingredients and toppings so it feels more like a custom made sandwich. Overall, the Terminator ham and bacon sandwich was tender, juicy and moist, yet had structure. To my surprise, the cream cheese, swiss cheese, and BBQ sauce on the sandwich all worked well together. All of the ingredients were proportioned nicely, so it wasn't too much of any one ingredient.
