Giardino Lago, Minusio-Locarno, a Member of Design Hotels

We organized our wedding weekend at Giardino Lago, and it was truly a dream come true! The location, food, rooms, and organization were all impeccable — not a single thing to complain about.||||There are two things I especially want to highlight. First, Sandro, the general manager, was incredibly helpful from our very first contact during the planning phase all the way until checkout. He was always professional, polite, and one step ahead in organization, ensuring that everything went perfectly. The entire staff was equally respectful, kind, and attentive, making sure the wedding ran seamlessly.||||Second, the food was absolutely outstanding! Every single dish was delicious, and all our guests left the wedding delighted and full of praise. Many of them said ‘Can we do this every year?’||||If you’re considering organizing your wedding in Ticino, I can wholeheartedly say that Giardino Lago is the place to make your dream celebration a reality!

Had a great time here, only stayed for a night but definitely wanted to stay longer. Paddle boards and bikes were available to guests for free. Breakfast was included with our stay, an amazing view and excellent food and service.

Giardino Lago is a gem of a hotel - an all-around gem. The location, right on the lake, is peaceful; a truly beautiful setting. The rooms were comfortable and welcoming (with AC). I loved riding the hotel's provided bikes into town - only 9 minutes away. It was perfect! I cam away happy with all my needs met when I stayed there.

A romantic setting — cozy lighting, elegant decor, and a warm, intimate atmosphere that made it feel truly special. ||The food was ok, the service attentive, and the overall experience great.

Wonderful small hotel right on the lake. Hotel provides bicycles and paddle boards. Great service. There are restaurant and roof-top bar on premises. |Gelato truck right next to hotel.|We'd like to come and stay again.

The best place in the area! They have free bikes and are located right on the lake. The restaurant is amazing too. We really like it (it was our second time there). One note: pillows are a bit too thin, so if you like sturdy and thicker ones, bring your own. They also have a free parking lot, which is very convenient.

Hotel was in a prime location on the water. They had bikes for us to take and ride into town. Paddle boards are also available. Room was very clean and perfect for two. The breakfast was excellent as well. All of the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Wish we had a chance to stay longer, would definitely come back.

Location, location, location! The hotel is perfectly situated on the lake with spectacular views. They provide free, very nice, bikes to ride around. You’re just 10 minutes from Lacarna and a small vibrant town. Dining was lovely and quite tasty. Service is a 10! Rooms are nice, only thing I would add is a coffee/tea maker in the room (early rising American 😊)

As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member, I've done my share of travel for work. The reward is using points to visit lovely localities such as this. Giardino Lago has only 16 rooms, and the exceptionally attentive staff make every guest feel special. The rooms are cozy, but stylish and have all the best amenities. The cafe and restaurant are also both very good, though we found the breakfast (while fresh And delicious) a bit pricy. Other extras like bikes and standing paddle boards, are A terrific bonus. Loved it here!
