My friend and I decided we needed a big ice cream sundae during our last night at Disneyland at 10pm and it did not disappoint! We stopped into Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor which is located on Main Street in the Disneyland Park and ordered the Peppermint Ice Cream Sundae. It was big enough for the both of us to share and really hit the spot! Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor has an old timey feel to the interior with a few tables inside (I think), but we took our ice cream to the outdoor tables at the Jolly Holiday to people watch and it was perfect. Their menu consists of hand-dipped Dreyer's ice cream creations such as sundaes, cones and floats. Flavors of ice cream include chocolate, Cookies and Cream, Rocky Road and even Cookie Dough! Service was quick and friendly! Check them out!

I've always wanted to try this place out and was so happy I I finally for the opportunity! Disneyland closed around 11pm and as we were heading out, the ice cream spot had a big line so we decided to grab a scoop. I ended up getting a ice cream cookie Sunday. Which comes with 2 scoops of ice cream and two homemade chocolate chip cookies. The ice cream was very tasty, I got chocolate chip cookie dough and cookies and cream. The cookies were good too but it would have been super good if it was fresh or maybe warm. They get through the line pretty quickly. They are super friendly and stayed open way past when Disney closed. Great spot

Old fashioned ice cream shop with so many delicious options! I found out today they actually sell the Mickey Ice cream bar here even though it's not on the menu so I had to get one! Friendly service but requires some patience with the long lines unless you order mobile order on the app.

When in Disney, this is the lit ice cream spot on bustling Main St and it sure hits the spot after a whole day of adventure. I got the Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae and subbed one of the vanilla scoops for chocolate chip cookie dough and it was yummy!! Cookies were soft and chewy and ice cream was standard (they use Dreyer's), and pretty tasty hot fudge. Of course the staff couldn't be any friendlier. Just wish there was more seating inside!

The perfect way to end a night at Disneyland! This ice cream hit the spot, a great balance of mint ice cream and rich chocolate chips! Quick service and energetic full of happy Disney families!

Oh my gosh! It's been ages since I stopped in here last, but I'm glad we did this evening! :) The others got floats (orange, coke, and root beer respectively), but I opted for the Strawberry Ice Cream option they had - it was as much an art project as it was a wonderful dessert! No way I could finish it alone, it was shared! :P The service is what you would expect from Disneyland - too notch, and the ambiance is that of an old timey ice cream parlor. I'd recommend to head to the seating outside of the Penny Arcade. :)

Ice cream was Made our order pretty quick cause we used the mobile order app thing. The fudge was nice and hot, and the ice cream was really good. Only thing is that my waffle cone tasted a little stale, but other than that it was all around a great experience!

Spent a good couple hours on rides here in Disneyland and decided to take a sweet treat break. Chocolate Chip cookie Sunday was a decent, filling dessert as there was so much variety to choose from here at Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor. Portion was big and shareable for two persons. Ice cream is Dreyers brand, which is okay, nothing special. Cost around $9. Line wasn't too long when we arrived. Service was direct, not too chatty. Few tables and chairs for indoor dining.

Came here solely for the ice cream truck souvenir but was able to snag a sundae as it comes included. We opted for the strawberry sundae which came in an icing covered waffle cup drizzled with strawberry syrup and graham cracker crumblings I believe. The crumblings mixed with entire sundae so well! It added the perfect crunch to every sweet bite, it was huge and IMO entirely too big for one person to finish but hey, I can be wrong! The wait to place the order wasn't long but to actually get the sundae it was a bit of a wait. There were only two tables within the parlor which makes seating limited. My son and I really enjoyed the sundae

I am very surprised that there is practically no line to order at this ice cream parlor. It also didn't take us long after we ordered before we got our ice cream sundae. Love the ice cream. The chocolate dipped waffle cup was good - I wish they offered it in regular brown chocolate rather than white chocolate. Also would have loved if there were more chairs and tables to enjoy our sundae sitting down.

Gibson Girl ice cream parlor is a must go-to place for ice cream in Disneyland Park. The line may be long, but the staff is very efficient, and the line moves along at a good pace. The ice cream is excellent. Very creamy, with burst of flavor. I have not experience any variant of ice in the ice cream. I highly recommend going to Gibson Girl for a refreshing dessert.

Ice Cream down Main Street USA at Disneyland Park! And so delicious. I always walk past this ice cream shop and want to try it, but the long line discourages me. Tip: go at night/ during the evening to avoid the long lines! During the day it gets crazy busy! The ice cream is by Dreyers. Very yummy! I went with one of the specialty ice creams, the Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae. Because why not? ;) It came with two cookies in it for Mickey ears and a cherry on top! I picked the cookie dough ice cream. It was a tasty treat! I wish they had more tables and chairs for enjoying the ice cream though.

A longtime tradition of mine going back to when I was a kid is to get ice cream here after a full day at Disneyland. Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor is an old-fashioned ice cream parlor located on Main Street, U.S.A. It has always been my last stop before I leave the park to go back to my hotel. They have classic sundaes in freshly baked waffle cups (or with cookies), ice cream in a cup or cone, ice cream bars and floats. Gibson Girl uses Dreyer's ice cream. Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor replaced Blue Ribbon Bakery in 1997. The name is a tribute to American graphic artist Charles Dana Gibson. My absolute favorite thing to get here is the Strawberry Street Car Sundae. It is so good! I think my tradition of coming here started in my youth when they use to have old-school games at the next door Penny Arcade. After playing games, we would then walk over and grab some ice cream and watch the nighttime fireworks from Main Street. I guess some traditions never die. This place can get really crowed toward closing time. Be prepared to wait in a line.

Their menu doesn't mention plant based ice cream, but since Clarabelle's at DCA does have plant based options I asked to see if they did at Gibson. Sure enough they do have one plant based option .... Vanilla (Clarabelle's has 3 flavors). Since Clarabelle's has 3 flavored options it automatically made me give a lower rating just based on that. If one of the parks offers more plant based options why can't they do the same for the other park? I ordered a root beer float and it was pretty good. Service was quick and the cashier was friendly. Had there been more plant based options I probably would have purchased more at this place.

Ice Cream on this hot day! A scoop of Pistachio and a Root-beer Float was just what we needed to cool off and continue on our Disney day! Lines are long but staff work quickly to move it along! It a. Nice cool place to beat the heat!

Gibson girls is located inside Disneyland. We were craving delicious ice cream. We were excited to place our order. The service was just average. The person taking the order was not friendly and treated us like cattle. She wasn't that nice. The facility was not busy but it was almost the end of day. Definitely not service with a smile.

For those craving good ice cream at Disneyland, Gibson Girl is the spot. It's busy, so consider mobile ordering ahead. But the wait is worth it for the tasty treats they serve up.

Ice-cream here is super filling even as one scoop and in a cup. Service is fast and friendly. Line goes by fast. Great pit stop to visit on your way out leaving DCA.

I don't typically get ice cream at Disneyland but decided to stop by Gibson Girl for a little treat. Pros: -cast members here are wonderful and are so friendly and helpful -I was able to make some modifications on my Sundae- instead of having two scoops of the same flavor, I was able to mix and match Cons: -n/a Other: -this is a grab and go type of place rather than a sit down experience.

They are located right on main st. Service was fine. You can order ahead or walk up and pay. The don't have any seats so we sat on the visibly dirty floor. Had I known they didn't have anywhere to sit I probably would have went somewhere else. The kids enjoyed their ice cream, adults also. I thought the sundaes would have been decorated more considering it's Disneyland but oh well. When I return to Disneyland, I'll be sure to try out a different ice cream spot.

**August 2023: Afternoon Visit** Imagine walking down Main Street and the breathing in the scent of fresh waffle cones. I've always just continued through to the Disney hub, but on this Disney visit I decided to go back and indulge in the aromatic sweet treat. It was around 4pm and probably in the high 80s - so I was dying for some cold to cool down. After pondering on flavor and style (cone or cup), I decided to go full blown cheat day and picked the premium chocolate dipped cone with sprinkles and mint chocolate chip. It was just what I needed and the cone was a crunchy and just as I imagined. The ice cream was as you imagined, but I'm glad I finally got to check out a Main Street USA Staple!

One of the yummiest sweets at Disneyland! If you're already going to be at the "happiest place on earth" then might as well get ice cream. Workers were so helpful and patient with me -- they told me I could do three scoops even though the menu said single or double. So I went with the classic Neapolitan flavors (Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry). I mean you have to get the waffle cone! It's so fresh and delicious -- a great combo with the cold creamy soft serve. A great alternative is to ask for a cup to put your ice cream in just in case it melts. As I'm writing this review, I'm still thinking about it and how much I miss the smell and taste.

Always a classic place to stop for a cool treat to satisfy your sweet tooth. I wish there was more seating available, but overall it's a cute location and love the ability to mobile order to skip the line!

Another great thing about navigating your way through the park using the Disney app is you can order food in advance, pay for it and decide when you'll pick it up. At Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor they're open day and night. After all, the Happiest Place on Earth lets you indulge in ice cream before lunch and late into the night when the park closes. Delicious ice cream and not expensive: A double scoop on a waffle cone was about $6.

The 5 star is for the flavor of the Uni-Cone!! The flavor of this ice cream is Banana, Cherry and Pistachio in a White Chocolate-dipped Waffle Cone with Fantasy Sprinkles...this is a Seasonal flavor!! Please GIBSON GIRL carry this flavor always. Because my hubby mobile ordered this, I don't know what to say about customer service...we just go pick it up when it's ready on phone.

I love that you can mobile order ahead of time so you don't have to wait in line. I recently went and ordered this beautiful UNI-CONE ice cream! Banana, cherry and pistachio ice cream in a beautiful white chocolate dipped waffle cone with sprinkles. My 10 year old inner child was a delighted- but my 35 year old taste buds actually squealed in excitement because the flavors were amazing and NOT TOO SWEET OR SUGARY! And I'm talking both the ice cream and the cone! Try it if you want to add some brightness to your Disney day!

Disney ice cream never disappoints. Single serving, you got this!!! Also this place is cheaper than Clarabelles at DCA.

been to disneyland many many times...but today i promised my boy all the treats for his 18th bday. Of course my daughter also got treats and i sampled both of theirs. One of his choices was Ice cream. I preordered in the app (thank goodness b/c of the LONG line). Ice cream was ready almost instantly! kids loved their ice cream! they both had mint chip ice cream as one choice (which i tasted and it was top notch mint!..cream and refreshing) boy had a cone bowl and girl had 2 choc chip cookies...both amazing. their second flavor was fudge for her and his was chocolate chip...i didn't taste those.

The best spot in Disneyland Park to get Ice Cream. So many delish flavors to choose from. This is my go to sweet treat spot in the park. I recommend ordering through the app if you prefer not to wait in line like myself. Cookies & Cream & Strawberry are my go to flavors. A must try ice cream spot in the park.

Need an ice cream fix while in Disneyland. Well checkout Gibson Girl ice cream parlor on Main Street. They serve up Dreyers ice cream. Not too shabby. The drawback is that they have virtually no seating. They have two tables with 4 chairs on the outside sidewalk... good luck to you in scoring those. You will most likely have to pop a squat on the sidewalk curb to partake in your ice cream, just like Russell and Mr Fredrickson in the movie Up. But kinda hard to do with a sundae. Anyways, sit, enjoy your overpriced Disneyland ice cream, and watch the life on Main Street walk on by. Never a dull moment. For an additional sugar overload, check out the candy store next door. It normally is connected, but they roped it off so you have to walk around through the front. Currently you can mobile order or stand in line, pick your pleasure. I suppose it's all about the timing, when we were there, the actual queue moved quickly.

Walking down Main Street, I always smell the freshly made waffle cones but always walk past the parlor as I'm scurrying to a ride, or trying to not get trampled over as I leave the park. Well, today was finally the day I made a purchase and got to see and taste the freshly-made waffles on Dreyer's ice cream. And to be honest, I only got the ice cream because I thought Salt and Straw was closed... Yelp did me wrong with the hours... *Palm to the forehead moment* But anyway, thinking Salt and Straw was closed, I opted for Dreyer's ice cream. And to no surprise, the ice cream tastes just like the Dreyer's I get at my regular grocery store. There weren't any special flavor for me to venture. And to my disappointment, the waffle was very "undercooked." It was still soggy when I bit into it... I would've preferred it being overdone so at least it's crispy... The ice cream was also melting too fast... the only plus side to this was getting to enjoy the ice cream from across the way on one of the front porches on Main Street. That sorta makes up for it... yes, definitely... the experience makes up for the food this time. and of course as I walked through downtown on my way home, Salt and Straw was still open and had their unique Halloween (seasons) flavors. *Palm to the forehead moment again* At least now I know I'm not missing out on anything every time I walk down Main Street. I'll just enjoy the free smell.

(June 2021) we Did mobile order for coke float. Took 5 minutes and I got the 2 text saying order was finished. (People inside were lined up- when they could have mobile ordered faster!) Picked up order and found a spot outside to eat during covid precautions. It was delicious on a hot day.

I'm definitely bias because I love ice cream, but even though this is Dreyer's ice cream, it's still good! Especially when it's hot out!

I ordered a vanilla scoop with a waffle cup. The ice cream is stale and melting, not cold enough to hold in a round ball, melted in the waffle cup like a vanilla soup. The waffle cup is stale as well and tastes so bad. No recommend or coming back.

When my daughter and I stopped by for a sweet treat, we had selected the following 1) 1 Scoop of chocolate ice cream 2) Magic Key Mickey Ear Hat Bowl with choice of Sundae, Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae, two scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream and two Fresh-baked Chocolate Chip Cookies, with Fudge Topping, Whipped Cream and a Cherry. My daughter enjoyed the chocolate ice cream. The Chocolate chip cookie sundae was delicious, but it was too much for me to eat by myself. It's a sharable order with two scoops of ice cream and two cookies. There is no seating at the Ice Cream Parlor. You'll need to go further down main street or look for a bench towards the entrance of the park. Great place to stop by for a delicious dessert!

This was definitely the best "food" we had at Disneyland. It was hot and crowded and since lunch was so unwilling the husband and kidlet wanted ice cream (I got the churro toffee). Thank goodness for order ahead because the line was SO LONG. Husband got the Firehouse Dalmation Mint Sundae ($6.99) and kidlet got a scoop of chocolate ice cream in a cup ($5.29). I didn't try my husband's as I hate mint flavor but the kidlet's chocolate ice cream was pretty tasty. The downfall of this place is it is so small it has no seating. It is on Main Street where there is little to no shade or seating. So we stood outside the store pressed against the wall to eat the melting ice cream due to lack of seating and crowds.

Good choice for a basic ice cream sundae on Main Street in Disneyland Park. You get your choice of two scoops of ice cream along with hot fudge, whipped cream and two chocolate chip cookies. We opted for one scoop of mint chocolate chip and one cookies n cream. No bells and whistle's but quality ice cream although they were a little skimpy with the hot fudge. But eating an ice cream sundae on Main Street in Disneyland Park... Doesn't get much better than this.

Although I always come here and will continue coming here to get my ice cream fix, I still have to give this place 3 stars. The reason I deducted stars is because it is just your basic Dreyer's ice cream and although it's good, it's really nothing special and just overpriced. However, it's Disneyland so what else can you expect for them to do. The main issue that I have with this place is the mobile ordering here. I swear, every time I order through the app here I think it will be a better experience but it's not. The second you hit the "I'm here, prepare my order" button on the app, it will take at least 20 minutes to actually get your order. The last few times I have came here that is exactly what happened and I wished I had just waited in line because it would've saved me more time in the long run. I continually saw people who waited in line leave before I did and it was definitely frustrating. To at least end on a good note, if you're anything like me where ice cream is one of your favorite desserts, this place will satisfy your crave especially on those hot days. It's the only place in Disneyland that serves scoops of ice cream and has a good variety of sundaes. I also personally like to try their seasonal ice creams and all options have been very good!

Can't really go wrong with special ice cream waffle bowls. Came here twice in three days, really shouldn't have eaten a whole sundae by myself but I mean it's vacation. In Disneyland. So why not go for it. My first shareable dessert was the firehouse mint sundae with my favorite ice cream mint chip and got chocolate syrup with a green dyed waffle cone. So cute. And so delicious. Shared between three people. Second was the holiday peppermint special. Now I don't like peppermint candies and I don't like candy canes. But I love peppermint ice cream. So I devoured the ice cream two scoops all myself. However the red dyed waffle cone was covered in peppermint candy pieces so I really didn't get to enjoy that like I had hoped. I knew that going in however. My only complaint, and this is across the board with Disneyland, Is the lack of seating. I was able to find a spot the second time but it was only like 10:30 am haha yes Ice cream for breakfast. Most of the ice cream shop is rows and rows taken up for what must be lines on their busiest days however I was there during Christmas week, some of the busiest days, and there was not more than five people in there at a time. I'm sure it gets busy but maybe they could rearrange to add some more seating without taking away line space. Anyway - yum!

Anyone who has grown up going to Disneyland probably has fond memories of enjoying ice cream on this Main Street USA staple. Located adjacent to the infamous Carnation Cafe, Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor supplies guests with delicious ice cream and smiles throughout the business hours of Disneyland park. Take a break to cool off and enjoy a sweet treat or set yourself up with a delicious cone or sundae while waiting for the parade or fireworks. There's no other place in the park that really feeds your Disneyland ice cream nostalgia like Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor. Gibson Girl's is located on Main Street USA on the same side of the Emporium. They have a large area carved out to handle the line and hordes of people craving ice cream. It doesn't matter the time of the day or time of the year, there is ALWAYS a line. However, the cast members do an excellent job of keeping the line moving and making sure wait times for orders are reasonable. Gibson Girl's also now offers Mobile Order through the Disneyland App, which has helped to thin out the line significantly. I'd highly recommend using the mobile order feature on the app to save time and to take advantage of your precious park time! I have indulged in many treats over the years from their traditional ice cream scoops and sundaes to their seasonal specialty items. Ice cream is always kept fresh and seasonal sundae concoctions are always cute, unique, tasty, and extremely picture worthy. My favorite flavors are the cookies & cream and cookie dough. Whether in a cup, cone, or sundae, the scoops are always a generous size, and pricing is fair. The only con about Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor is that there is very little seating. Annual Passholder discounts do not apply at Gibson Girl's as of this review. Pro-tip: As with many of my Disneyland Resort reviews, be sure to keep an eye out for seasonal specialities. These are usually indicated with signage near the registers.

This is a decent stop while at Disneyland. I wouldn't necessarily consider it on par with standalone ice cream parlours but it doesn't really need to be. My wife, kiddo, and I stopped by at 9 PM, right before the nightly fireworks show; arguably the most busy time for the area. Staff were very nice (albeit a little strained with all the commotion). The flavors are pretty traditional (e.g.vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, rocky road, cookie dough). Tasty.

I spent a Sunday at Disneyland and had a pleasant experience. I was wrapping up my meal of Fried Pickles and Potato Soup next door at the Carnation Cafe. There were still 20 minutes to go before the Soundsational Parade began. I decided to pop open my Disney App and place an order at Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor before the parade. I walked next door and was expecting to to get my Double Scoop of Cookies & Cream / Cookie Dough within 5 mintues. However, I waited another 10 minutes before I got my ice cream, I guess everyone else had the same plan via the mobile app. Add a buffer of time if you plan on doing this. I was able to get a good spot for the parade and see Mickey and friends jam on out. I felt like a kid again, eating my ice cream and waving to the characters. I was a little disappointed at the length of the parade. I'm glad I stayed till midnight to catch the fireworks over the castle and Fantasmic!

We had ice cream here a few times on our recent trip and really enjoyed the mint chocolate chip and cookie dough ice cream in the waffle cones. The reason I took off one star is sometimes you only could mobile order and sometimes you couldn't order everything through mobile order so It just depended on the day if they had a line and what would be on the mobile order site. That being said I would wait in line before doing mobile order if I have the choice as they usually have more window open and the mobile order that I did I had to wait until it was time, then say I was ready for it, stand in line to tell them I was there and then they finally made the cone, took longer than when I actually stood in the line. Overall, I highly recommend though for a nice sweet treat.

Great ice cream. Service and availability is par. Mobile order only and even with a confirmed order, it's 15 minutes before you get your ice cream. You're better off heading somewhere and ordering in real time

We were disappointed when we ordered using the mobile app went went to get our ice cream cones and they were all melted, running down our hands. I should have refused it and the worker should have offered a cup or another flavor that wasn't like liquid. It was crowded as it was a hot day so they obviously were rushing to take care of the big line. No customer service.

Unless you're trying something special or a sundae, I don't know if it's worth going to (especially if the lines are super long!), since it's just Dreyer's ice cream (that you can get anywhere). It can get super packed here. Additionally, swarms of children order floats that spill literally 20 seconds apart from one another, so careful where you step and be wary if your table is sticky.
