This is a pleasant hall. If Im in the area I would jump in but wouldn't go out of my way to plan a trip here. We ate at the Thai place (it’s ok) and the taco stand (very sweet ladies, but they need to work a bit more on their cuban food flavor. Not bad though)They still have a Gelato place they are about to open ( icecream please!) and I got a cold latte lavender vanilla drink made as I asked the barista. Very nice. It looks like a family friendly place. Oh! For what I saw there is a brewery down stairs and there was a cute little bar at the entrance, too. last thing I will say (bc you guys know me and food grades) there were a few restaurants with low 90’s here. The pizza place was 93 and the Thai place had a 96… guys… NO REASON you should let your business not be 100 health code. Work on that! It speaks volumes. And YOU! Question the staff as to why their food grade is not 100. You are paying for their services!

The concept of this place is great… but execution not so… first you can’t even eat or drink at any of the seating out side…. No exceptions according to the sign. Only 7-10 vendors, pretty spacious place with a lot of potential. Tried the Thai esane and was not so impressed. The red curry did not have a strong curry taste, sauce based was too runny. Pad see ew was tasteless, the fresh rolls were pre done and put in the fridge… so when I ate the fresh rolls it was hard… not sure how that is fresh. I would not come to Thai esane again. For the price I can go to a real Thai place.

Livy's Neapolitan Pizzeria Is to die for. I felt like I was back in Italy. I had the customize pepperoni, sausage, basil, mushrooms. And green peppers. It was amazing!! I recommend this pizza spot inside of Gibson mill market. 10/10

We took a ride here to check out the food hall and market. The food hall was not crowded so we went around deciding on what to order. We settled on the pizza place. The pizza was excellent and service was great. Unfortunately, most of the tables were dirty and no one going around cleaning them. We had to put a bunch of napkins down and then place our food on their plates. We were sitting in front of Thai Esane restaurant and there was a worker that had gloves on serving people. That was great, but then when people walked away he was touching his hair with the gloves on and then took a napkin and wiped his nose. Again his gloves were still on! So apparently, he was serving people with the same gloves. So, that was really unhygienic and we will not be back to visit this market to eat.

Google
Variety of food, reminds you of a food truck or mall setting with numerous options. The pizza was great from a local vendor. Parking is very adequate for the building as it was very busy after we got there. A lot of people started trickling in and the entire hall was at capacity. Come early on Saturday like 5: 30ish as you will maybe find a seat. There is quite a bit of tables and chairs but they can go quick if it's a busy night. Some food vendors were busier than others at different points depending on what kind of food you want.

Cute food hall in the heart of Concord, NC. Nice place where you can sit and relax either indoors or outdoors. They have a decent selection of restaurants. Mexican, Pizza, BBQ, coffee, Cookies, Brewery and more. So they have something for everyone.

Google
The place is very open and cool. The food was ok, perfect for drinking. We had a pizza which was ok. A lobster roll from one of the Mexican places, and it was not defrosted properly (the texture was weird) and crabcake bites that were tasty. The best food we had was from the Mexican on the left side, we had a Caribbean bowl that was fresh and tasty. All the tables were sticky, and it seems like not enough seating available for the number of people they get.

Optimistic food hall is a perfect description. This is a food hall connected to a game room. It hits on looks. The bones and plan are right. The execution leaves way too much to be desired. The complex is a redevelopment of an old mill/factory. You enter the “market” by way of a bridge from the antique mall part of the complex. There are 6-7 eateries/bar/desert shops within a large building. Hence the market moniker. The bar seems to do a good business. We walked around looking at the various restaurants… taco place (taco street)- staff was sitting and leaning on the counters - No customers. Pass. Next was a burger and BBQ place (Johnny Rogers) couple of people eating here and it looked ok. So we decided to try. Asked the counter girl which was her favorite the BBQ or the burger. She said she didn’t really like either. Hmm should have taken that advice. However I ordered the BBQ with fries. Not good. $33 and I threw mine in the trash. Super heavy clove spice. Just heavy ughh food. The oil the fries were cooked in probably had not been changed in three weeks…yuck. Just garbage. There is a pizza place, and Indian restaurant, an ice cream shop, cookie shop and coffee shop. We did get a chocolate chip cookie for $5. It was ok. Consistency of a doughy dense slightly undercooked. It was ok. Really wish we had not eaten here.

Yelp
Enjoyed this place! The atmosphere is bright but it's like a little maze almost! Unique items, can fit wheelchairs, A lot to enjoy and look at!! Close by the Food court ,restaurants.

Yelp
I'm finally making my review after going to GM Market since it opened in 2022. It has had some growing pains but I'm happy to report it was really running smoothly today. There was a big crowd and each stall was handling the crowd with precision. Various foods passing by us being carried to tables look great. We opted for Thai food today from Thai Esane. It was delicious. Also thought it was a fair price as the quantity was large. I'm so happy this market is here in Cabarrus County and wish all the vendors a long stay!!

Yelp
Despite Good Food, We Won't Be Back A dozen adult family members from across the Charlotte and Concord areas gathered at The Mill to celebrate two family birthdays. We all ordered food and drinks from the vendors, and the experience started off well. In place of birthday cake, the two birthday girls had requested homemade lemon bars. We placed them on the table alongside the food and beverages we purchased from the vendors. While we were still enjoying our meal, a representative from The Mill approached our table and informed us that "outside food" was not allowed and we had to either remove the dish or leave. We understand and respect general policies regarding outside food, but this situation called for some discretion and basic courtesy. The lemon bars were clearly not a competing item--they were a personal, celebratory gesture. The birthday girls were disappointed, and the family member who made the lemon bars was embarrassed and hurt. Passing out Lemon Bars in 100° heat in the parking lot is just not the same. This action came across as inflexible, uninformed, and inconsiderate. It reflected very poorly on the management. Although our food and service was great, none of us plan to return.

Yelp
As a lover of food halls, I drove from Charlotte to Concord to give this one a try. It's very much out of the city proper area and a bit removed from the Concord Mills area as well. I opted to try the Thai food stall. It was not good nor was it authentic. I tried the drunken noodles and at best - this dish was solid 4/10. It was rice noodles tossed in some sauce with peppers and some salted shrimp. My noodles were gooped together. There was not much flavor or value for what I paid. There's also a taco place here but can't speak to how good it is or not. I would not recommend.

Yelp
I visited this food hall during the evening hour. The expectation was not only dinner choices but dessert selections. There wasn't any sweet treats vendors here, just a few food vendors on one level. Parking was plentiful but I probably would prefer the Bank venue in Kannapolis over this spot.

Yelp
Had the cheese bambino and burrata salad at Livy's. Both were excellent! The pizza was fresh, delicious and perfectly executed- shout out to the crew!! Highly recommend after a few hours roaming through the Depot.

Yelp
After pulling in the parking lot for the Deport at Gibson Mill, we both needed to use the restroom and wanted something sweet. This market space is setup like a smaller food hall with a game room area for the kids (or adults). Downstairs there is a pub space that features games, etc. which we did not check out. The restrooms were clean and well appointed. We decided to each get a cookie at Cara's Cookies before checking out the Depot. If you stop in be sure to check out their offerings!

Yelp
The food was great, the vendor service was great, the setting was great. We had 12 people that met there for a birthday party and we bought over $250 of food and drinks and brought lemon bars with us because the birthday girl had requested them. Management or somebody pretending to be important came by an told us we needed to take the lemon bars out or leave. We did stay long enough to finish our food, but did not order anything else and nobody in our party feels the need to return. I have owned a restaurant for many years and would never have scolded a large group of people who had obviously spent a lot of money over a few lemon bars!!!!

Yelp
Just visited again last night with a great friend of mine for a late dinner, and this place still has all the magic it had the first time I came here! I'd say it's even more vibrant and fun at night-time! There were lots of people there, but the lines moved quickly and the space is large enough for plenty of people to enjoy eating/hanging out both inside and outside! I was sad to see that the bao bun place that was here my last visit had been removed. It was so good!!!! My friend and I walked around, looking at all the options...you can visit the bar or coffee shop, ice cream, a seafood bar/grill, a cookie place...or you can grab some tacos, Barbeque, Puerto Rican cuisine, or pizza. Lots of great options to choose from. My friend and I opted to try something new, the Puerto Rican place! We looked over the menu, so many yummy and unique choices to consider! There was also a screen showing pictures of each item, which helped! After asking the people who work there about their favorites, we ordered! I got the mojo pork plate with yucca fries and fried plantains! It comes with rice and beans! Everything was so juicy and flavorful!!! So much seasoning and love went into this dish!!!! Definitely recommend the mojo pork and the yucca fries!!!!! Delicious! My friend ordered the jerk chicken wings with avocado fries. The chicken was amazing! Packed with flavor!!! Juicy!!!!! Everything you want in some good chicken wings, and that sauce was bomb!! The place was very clean and the staff was kind and helpful. Grateful we got to visit the Gibson Mill Market again, and enjoy some amazing food and meet some nice people as well!! Check it out!!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
This food hall seems to have a little bit of everything. They have a brewery downstairs and another in the parking lot. They're also by the depot so it's a perfect spot to spend the day. You can try some new and different foods and do some shopping. I tried the icecream spot churn while I was there.

Yelp
What an awesome addition to Concord, NC! Gibson Mill is such a vibe with tons of natural light, exposed brick and indoor plants galore. Their food stands offer a ton of variety so there truly is something for everyone. Downstairs is a little more chill with a couple more businesses and a game room. You could easily spend a whole afternoon here. We kind of just walked through to check it out, but I really want to go back and actually order food. Will report back!

Yelp
When the bar is set high..."The Oxbow" in Napa and "Ponce" in Atlanta, "Gibson Mill Market" is not it. Maybe a little more happening on the weekend. The antique mall is HUGE and if you like to kill time looking through all of it, it goes on forever! 5 stars for the Antique Mall.

Yelp
I have never been to this food hall before and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of all of the restaurants and how much seating there is. Everything looked so delicious but I ended up ordering from Johnny Roger's BBQ and Burgers. I HIGHLY recommend if you love burgers. On the side, I got mac and cheese which I recommend as well if you are a mac and cheese fan like myself! However, (I don't know if this was just Taco Street) they wouldn't serve us just a cup of water, we had to buy an entire bottle.

Yelp
I always enjoy visiting this place. Although some things are a bit overpriced or not authentic as advertised, you can find some amazing deals if you know what you're looking for and know something about the product. It's full of something for everyone. They even have a place to get a snack if you get hungry while making your way through the huge market.

Yelp
My family always has a tough time choosing somewhere to eat when traveling, especially with kids. Loved the food hall, kids choose pizza, I had BBQ and the wife had tacos. Everyone enjoyed the decor and art exhibit, service was quick and friendly at all three dining spots.

Yelp
Old renovated mill with restaurants and a brewery. Not entirely occupied by tenants but there's still a good bit of options, food wise. There's nice coffee shop too!

Yelp
For lunch today I met my line sister in Concord at Gibson Mill Market. This food hall is small and quaint. We went to Johnny Rogers BBQ & Burgers. I got the G.O.A.T burger with goat cheese and sweet potato fries. This burger is delicious! The Hall was clean and all the people were friendly. There are several places to choose from and they have a full bar. For those coffee lovers there's a spot for you too. If you have a sweet tooth there is ice cream and a cookie shop. The whole place is a vibe if you like to go antique shopping you can do that too. Family friendly great place to hang out with the family. I almost forgot they have outdoor seating and every so often the train will come through.

Sarah R.

Yelp
Our family loves this place. Food is good, atmosphere is cool. We like that there's both a bar and brewery inside the building as well as another brewery on property.

Yelp
A fun food hall with a handful of options to entice your tastebuds. Growth is coming and with a brewery on-site, I imagine this makes for a really fun place to hang. Taco Street had a mango de pico that is outstanding! Served with their fish tacos, but we got some for our chips - yum! Corn tortillas are their only option. Johnny Rogers is BBQ or Burgers - but we decided hotdogs for our late afternoon lunch! In a hotdog the bun makes a huge difference - they need to upgrade - it was a soggy mess and not edible. The chili had a bit of a spice to it as well ... the fries were great. Cara's Cookies is also a vendor - they've got some cookies that will blow you away. Delicious and delightful. Service at all vendors was prompt - finding our way to the food hall on the property was a challenge - no signs directing first time customers were to go. Plenty of parking. https://www.gibsonmill.com/#caras-cookie-co https://www.gibsonmill.com/market/#johnny-rogers-bbq-burgers https://www.gibsonmill.com/market/#taco-street

Yelp
Clean, organized, and kid friendly food hall setup. They have a game room on the first floor, an escape room that's fun to do, and unique restaurants to try out! I tried out the seafood restaurant and it was tasty!

Yelp
Great atmosphere and food choices. The bbq restaurant was amazing! Excellent service. Love Barcos and grabbing a cappuccino too!

Yelp
Food court has good variety. Antique shops are huge. Need to plan on a whole day to shop. Everything is indoor. Very unique place to shop

Yelp
Great place to go for drinks or a bite to eat. Food court has a very small but nice variety from tacos to lobster rolls. Downstairs theres a brewery and across from the food court is a antique mall with oddities and a escape room.

Yelp
So many choices and they are all great choices. You can not go wrong with the restaurants located in the dining hall.

JB M.

Yelp
This review is for the Johnny Roger's food stall. Wow. As a first time guest, my experience was beyond horrible. Crazy part is my family and I didn't even get to try the food because of the poor and distasteful ordering experience. Very disappointing. Very racist. Very disrespectful. Extreme narcissism. I will never come back to this establishment and maybe not this facility either. I will tell everyone that I know not to support also. Treat people with respect and kindness even if they are not the same race or ethnicity as you are. No two customers are the same but every customer should receive the same kindness and care.

Yelp
Go to the Market Bar!!! This place has the best cocktails in Concord. Helpful staff will get you feeling right! Try the Paper Plane. It's my favorite!!!!

Laoni M.

Yelp
Great food great service and enough seating for a lot of ppl ... if you're considering eating out and you don't know what you want to eat there are a lot of options for a group or entire family ... great environment great energy just a really great vibe

Ginger C.

Yelp
Fun, friendly and relaxing atmosphere to gather with friends! We enjoyed visiting each vendor and sharing our treasures amongst the group while catching up on the covered porch area. Plenty of room to eat inside or outside. Accommodates a variety of preferences easily. Looking forward to seeing more vendors join this venue!

Blake D.

Yelp
Cool spot not many reviews so was hesitant but was great! Great beer and the burger place was really good.

Sarah B.

Yelp
So happy a place like this opened up in Concord! Such a fun spot to go with friends and family, love the variety of food and drink choices so everyone is happy. Looking forward to seeing how it develops but definitely recommend a visit!
