The cookies are wild! Yes, there’s a novelty aspect to them but, contrary to other “popular” bakeries, you can actually taste the flavors of every cookie, not just the same tired dough over and over. That said, they’re rich and, you may easily halve or quarter them if you’re up for trying several at a time. If you’re in town, place an order ahead and pick them up.

Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs is a perfect example of marketing outweighing the actual product. The vibes, the aesthetic, the merch, and the whole elusive “you have to wait to get in” experience are executed flawlessly. It builds so much excitement that by the time you’ve waited over an hour to pay $6+ for a cookie, you expect something truly special. Unfortunately, the cookies just don’t live up to the hype. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but they didn’t really eat like cookies. I usually love a doughy, chewy cookie, but these were more like dense cake pops or blondies than actual cookies. I tried the coffee cake cookie, banana bread cookie, and the original chocolate chip, and they were all the same—huge, heavy, and doughy in a way that felt more cake-like than cookie. You’d get more flavor eating a fistful of chocolate chips. Another letdown was the merchandise. Part of the appeal is the branding, but you can barely see any of it. The T-shirts, stickers, and other merch were just piled near the register, making it hard to browse or even notice what was available. The cold brew “the classic way” was also disappointing—it tasted mostly like overly sweet oat milk rather than coffee. The one bright spot was the staff; everyone working there was genuinely kind and friendly. Overall, I wouldn’t go back, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone wait in that long line. The experience and marketing are top-tier, but the cookies themselves are mediocre and simply not worth the wait.

Had to try Gideon’s viral cookies while visiting Orlando. Viral treats can sometimes be a hit or miss, so I didn’t have many expectations, but these cookies are worth the hype! I had an original cookie, while my dad got the toffee pistachio- he said it may be the best cookie he’s tasted in his life!

Took a second to find a place to park and then find the shop. We parked on the street as this is a building full of shops in a marketplace style. There was barely a line at 130 in the afternoon on a Sunday. It was clearly marked where to line up and the decor is amazing. Super cute and mysterious! The cashier was super sweet and asked us if we had been there before. We said no and she took her time explaining everything. We ordered our cookies and she asked if we were local then gave us area recommendations. She was so amazing! The cookies were to die for! So good! So worth the trip!

Great design and atmosphere. The line is terribly long, but it's even worse when you first hear about this bakery and decide to wait in line to buy cookies. The cookies are disgusting; they all taste the same, like sugar. They're so sickeningly sweet that they're edible. It's like they somehow concentrated the sugar and added it to the cookies. The sugar levels are so high that eating one cookie can give you a month's worth of sugar. It's disgusting and very bad for your health.

Gideon's Bakehouse is a fantastic bakery that specializes in hand made cookies. The cookies are wonderfully buttery with a variety of flavours. The best part is that the cookies are not as sweet as they look with a great balance of flavours. A nice touch is the shop is well decorated with Victorian era antiques and decor. There is a six cookies maximum per person in-store without a preorder.

The decorations and ambience of this bakery are amazing! The line wasn’t too long when we went and the chocolate chip cookie was great. I would say that it was very sweet and one is enough for two people. They also had seasonal pumpkin cold brew and it was amazing.

This is an iconic cookie shop in Central Florida. There’s a more busy location in Disney Springs, but this is the original location. Located in the East End Market, this location is less busy so crowds are more manageable. The cookies themselves are great! They have soft insides, are large, and taste pretty good! My favorite is the cookies and crème flavor. Overall, would definitely recommend.

The cookies are huge! When I picked up my box of 4 cookies + the lemon poppy cookie that they packed outside the box since they said that flavor overpowers the rest of the cookies in the box, I was like whoa!!! We didn't want to bother with the hustle and bustle of Disney Springs so we opted to drive to this location. This was a cute little booth inside of an indoor market. We wanted to try as many flavors that peaked our interest but also keep realistic about how fast we would be able to eat them since they're so big. $6 each and they're definitely worth every penny. My daughter loved the triple chocolate chip cookie. I loved all the flavors we got and I'm still nibbling on little pieces of each - the lemon poppy crumb, pistachio toffee chocolate chip, and by far my favorite is the original chocolate chip. The vanilla favoring in the chocolate chip cookie is out of this world. My hubby opted for a piece of the Chocolate Everything cake which he loved but said it had a bit too much icing (or fudge) in the middle of the cake layers. The cookies are so very good. I'd definitely come back when I visit Orlando again.

No trip to downtown Orlando is complete without visiting the original location of Gideon's. A lot of people head to Disney Springs and wait in the queue and get the full experience of the bakehouse with all the exciting and Gothic theming, which I'll always recommend at least once. With this being said I always love going to the original location of Gideons and seeing the different options that are available for these unique and amazing cookies. The counter does not get anywhere near as busy as it does at Disney Springs and there's always my go-to when I'm in the downtown area. The staff always friendly and East end market is a great place to go visit any time of day.

I totally get the hype! I will not wait in the line at Disney Springs when this location is so convenient and the line is never more than a few minutes. This is on a must visit list for me each time I come to Orlando. The cookies are amazing. The flavors are unique and the cookies are huge! The chocolate pistachio toffee is a favorite, so is the double chocolate. I also loved the cookie bites when they have them. I love a cookie that has a cookie texture, not like cake and these definitely hit the spot. I wish they would open a location in southern CA, maybe not, then I'd have to eat way more of them.

We came on the weekend to east end market and it was packed! There was a line for these cookies! Everything looked so good and the desserts are all huge! I love the dark aesthetic and packaging of everything here. I got three cookies, Pb chocolate chip, double chocolate, and chocolate chip. Wow all of these were amazing. Very decadent and delicious. One cookie is like 4 small cookies. If you haven't tried them out yet you need to! I can't wait to go back and try the other flavors or cakes!

I have to admit, it's as good as they say. I didn't think it possible. Gideon's cookies are worth every scrumptious calorie.

Seriously so sinful! I live and Chicago and we dont have it here. So i have to conserve my consumption. One to two bites a day lol. I'm very picky with my cookies and i can honestly say that I would definitely go back for this cookie especially the Triple Chocolate Chip one. If you are in Orlando this is a must try. I would suggest doing a mobile order because their line is always long! One brqnch is in Disney Springs FYI! Happy snacking!

Cookies? Yes cookies! I had a delicious chocolate chip banana bread cookie today. It was a cake type consistency that was very fresh tasting...like warm banana bread out of the oven. Service was quick and friendly. There were other choices of cookies available as well. Cookies were bigger than my hand. Definitely enough to share....that is if you're willing to share...no judgement if you keep all the yummyness to yourself.

Guys stop reviewing this location everyone is going to catch on LOL! I had never been the this on before and stopped in during our last vacation. Highly recommend. I had a funny thing happen directly my time trying to order I walked up to the counter where ther was a rope and ther were two people queued uo by the case line. K was ushered to join them. So I did. While th4e teo parties in front of me ordeed, 7 more partes quequed up in the actual line that I was initially in. When it came time for me to order, the man in the front of the "real line" (that I was initially in) just started his order, skipping me. The person at the till just took it looking uncomfortable but ti was getting busy so I assumed she would take me next, instead she ushered me to join the BACK of the other line so I ended up waiting behind 9 people when I should have waited behind only 2. Normally this would have really bothered me but it's still a million times better than the mess at the Disney Springs location so it helped me get past it quickly. I ordered 2 cookies, at around 1pm on a Tuesday they were all fully stocked. I got them in separate bags though so I had to ask for a box as I was traveling tomorrow and needed that. I assumed they give everyone a box as part of the whole experience...apparently not. The cookies of course were delicious. They always are. Anyone who says otherwise, I'm just not sure what you expect from a cookie? I do wish they were on GoldBelly so I could order them to my home and skip the waiting in line fr ages on my vacation because that's not really what I want to do, nor do I wan to drive out to Winter Park, if I wasn't already planning to do so. Location is very small. I was surprised how small it was. It was fine just tight and a bit confusing (clearly) in where to queue.

The best cookies ever. I've had all types of cookies from different stores and I always find myself coming back to Gideon's. My favorite is the banana bread chocolate chip and the cookie and cream is a classic. Best to eat within 2-3 days before it looses its moisture. If you like partially underbaked cookie texture, this is the perfect cookie for you. The pricing ranges $5-7 per cookie but totally worth it with all the ingredients they use. They always come out with seasonal cookies which are always fun to try.

We are frequent fans of Gideons. The concept is fun and unique and we love trying all of their season desserts, especially the two Halloween cookies! This time we tried the butterscotch cookie and the pistachio chocolate chip cookie. The butterscotch was a little more "spiced" than we would have liked, but the pistachio chocolate chip was much better than expected! Not too chocolate-y (I usually stick with the cakes or cookies and cream cookie because I don't like chocolate), and super soft which is my favorite! We also had the Valentina cake which was my husbands favorite - a red velvet cake with cookies and cream marshmallow icing. I can't stand cream cheese icing, so it was a nice change for me too! My favorite cake, however, is the pride cake: a funfetti cake with rainbow vanilla icing and sugar cookie/cake crumbles in between the layers, served 2 days each week during the month of June. Long story short, if you haven't tried Gideons, you should! And the line at the original location is way more manageable than the one at Disney Springs - even on weekends

This location is bananas. The line was an hour and a half long just in the virtual queue, and then another 20+ once you get on line. They're just cookies! The whole place is a vibe with cool aesthetic, but is it 2-hour-wait worthy? Hype is a little excessive here. Banana chocolate chip cookie was pretty good, but a bit too heavy on the chocolate chips, I would have preferred without them. Cookies are large and soft, glad I got to finally try them.

I went to a bakery in South Carolina that sold a 'Change your life' chocolate chip cookie for $7. I was sorely disappointed. Then I went to Estuary bean and barley (5 stars btw/John's island sc)and I had a huge chocolate chip cookie and told the cashier about my disappointing cookie at the bakery. He said, 'you want a change your life cookie you have to go to gideons bake house in Florida. I happened to be going to Florida for Memorial Day weekend. He said don't go to the one in Disney world bc the line is ridiculous. That's the buena vista location. The Orlando location is the less busy and original. We got there at 9:45am. In time for cappuccino next door and then they opened at 10am. No line. I ordered one of everything and it changed my life. Not really but definitely the best cookies I have ever had. You won't be disappointed.

Gidgeon's is a must try at East End Market, but you probably already know that because EVERYONE talks about Gideon's delicious cookies and cakes. I love their toffee pistachio cookie, yum. For an extra special treat follow their instagram for secret offers only mentioned there with passwords for access. Service is always quick and reliable, the ambiance and product packaging is art in itself!

Amazing cookies! The cookies are huge and chewy. We tried the banana bread chocolate chip and cookies and cream cookies, which were both delcious. Love the dark and moody aesthetic of this place.

Skip the lines at Disney Springs and head to this Gideon's location inside the East End Market! My mouth watered for years thinking about trying a Gideon's cookie, but I couldn't stand the thought of being in a queue for hours at DS. Luckily, this location will leave you with a minimal wait, if any at all. We tried the Maple Walnut Chocolate Chip as well as the regular Chocolate Chip. Both were phenomenal, but would have left us speechless had they been served warm. Not the world's best cookie I've ever had, but it's close to the top 5!

How have I not reviewed Gideon's yet?! Let's fix that right now. If you haven't heard the hype about Gideon's, you're probably new to the area. Gideon's reputation precedes itself and with good reason. These cookies are not only giant (half a pound each!), but they're PACKED with flavor. They have a regular lineup of flavors (top favorites include the chocolate chip pistachio, cookies and cream and the peanut butter), and each month there is a special cookie introduced for that month only. If you happen to visit in December, that is when my favorite cookie of all time becomes available (it is a white chocolate chip and coconut coffee cookie and it is heaven on earth). Anyways, if you like cookies, you need to try Gideons. It is hard to describe the goodness that is their baked goods. I'd be remiss if I failed to mention they also have incredible cake slices and chocolate covered cake bites. You just can't go wrong here. Do yourself a favor: visit Gideon's. (I would recommend the Corrine location, as the Disney springs location typically has a lengthy line).

This is definitely one of my top cookie spots! As a sweets lover, this really hit the spot for my cravings! I got a bunch of cookies and the churro slice of cake and I loved every bite! My favorite has to be the white chocolate chip macadamia right now. It was the best white chocolate chip macadamia I have ever had! The line gets long but it does move pretty fast. And even though the workers were in a rush to get through the line, they were still patient with me and helped me pick out cookies to try out. The ambiance itself is so cool as it feels like it's Halloween everyday here! It's a great spot for some cute spooky pictures.

I love Gideon's! And if you are reading reviews trying to decide if you want to try them out, just go and do it! These cookies are my absolute favorite combination, crunchy on the outside and so chewy on the inside. They have some delicious flavors that change out monthly and sometimes they have limited specials. Definitely check out their social media to see what flavors they are featuring. This one is located inside East End Market, and I usually go in the afternoon during the week and I can usually walk right up to the counter. There is an additional location at Disney Springs but usually the wait is an hour plus, so I highly recommend the East End Market location if you can make it here. Both locations have a really fun vibe and the employees have always been fabulous! Check them out, you won't regret it!

Gideon's Bakehouse is my must visit, must do activity when I visit Walt Disney world. This is probably my third or fourth trip here. I'm out here once a year and I will go out of my way to common lineup for cookies and cold brew. I've been here a couple times before the store opens and there's already a long queue that wraps around the building all the way to almost Morimoto's, but the line moves fairly quick. This is a great experience where you're building the anticipation of what kind of cookies you're going to order. I'm sure the waitadds to my ordering. Usually I get the maximum number of cookies I'm allowed to and you say I will try to get some of the classic cookies and maybe mix in one of the seasonal ones that they have at the time. The inside is really festive and well decorated. It's a gothic library vibes that's got some Tim Burton aesthetics going on too. It's very neat for sure. I'm a huge huge fan of the peanut butter cold brew now I will get two of them when I come and visit when a drink right away and another to slowly sip. All the team members that I have interacted with have been very nice and hospitable. This is one of the highlights for me when I come visit Walt Disney world and Disney springs

These cookies are what Cookie Monster lives for! Have a big cup of milk handy because these cookies aren't your typical batch. Sit down; this is a meal, my friend. I'm a sucker for warm freshly baked cookies. I've only been to the East End location; they limit you to six cookies I believe but if you preorder, there's no limit. This location is easier for me to get to than the Disney Springs location and much less crowded. Although some weekends, I have seen lines out the door and around the building; it's worth the wait tho :) They have different flavors to keep you on your toes and coming back for more. I love the cookies and cream cookie - big Oreo fan. I have also tried the banana bread chocolate chip and I was surprised by how much I liked this one. Great combo - banana and chocolate, who knew? Try the limited edition Kris Kringle cookie! I can't even describe all the flavors this one has. White chocolate, caramel, coconut, some coffee, and sea salt! I wish this can be a permanent menu item but it's only here for the holidays. Sad face emoji. I miss when they had the white chocolate caramel macadamia nut. That's gotta be one of my favorite cookies by far! I have yet to try their humongous cake slices! Heard they were to die for!

Our friends took us to the famous Gideon's Bakehouse, and I was amazed at how big and thick the cookies were. They were incredibly decadent! The cookies were absolutely delicious, but I could only manage a small piece at a time. My favorite was the triple chocolate, especially because of the sea salt on top. I'll definitely be stopping by again!

Worth. The. Wait. We got several in season cookies. They are huge! Honestly the peanut bitters cold brew won the show! It was so smooth! The staff was super friendly. They give directions to reheat the cookies at home as well. If you see the line, know it is for a reason.

Every time we visit WDW I want to try the raved-about cookies at Gideon's Bakehouse. Unfortunately, the line at the Disney Springs location is always very long and intimidating so we skip it. This year we decided to drive to the East End Market location, which was a great plan because there was NO LINE. We purchased the Original Chocolate Chip, Triple Chocolate Chip, Banana Bread Chocolate Chip, and Cookies & Cream cookies. These cookies are big and thick - as Gideon says, around a half-pound each. They had a great texture, were soft, and bursting with flavor, as cookies should be. We didn't find any of the flavors to be overpowering, everything complimented each other. All the cookies we tried were VERY DELICIOUS and completely worth the purchase. We loved them all, but our absolute favorite was the Banana Bread Chocolate Chip. It was AMAZING! These cookies are worth the hype and the next time we are back in WDW we will be hitting up Gideon's Bakehouse again! They do not disappoint!!

I finally got to try the famous Gideon's Bakehouse this week! I went to their less busy location. I was able to get the cookies quickly since they had just opened. I let the staff know I had never been there before and they gave me a quick rundown of the cookie menu for the day. I opted for the classic chocolate chip! The location was interesting and not like any place I'd been before. It's like a building with multiple food spots but indoors. The ambiance was calm but I assume because it was the morning. Honestly it was a lot of a cookie! I'm not a sweets person but I finished it. Although it did take me eating it in increments throughout the day nonetheless I would definitely buy it again and most definitely pair it with ice cream. I wish they offered a smaller version of their cookies for people who don't care for such a big one but I get it! I think I'm going to try their Disney springs location when I get the chance and see if I'm able to snag one while it's still warm.

I always look forward to getting some delicious cookies from Gideon's whenever I'm in the Orlando area. Whether it's a cookies & cream, pistachio chocolate chip, one of their seasonal cookies or just your good old original chocolate chip, you really can't go wrong. These things are nearly a half pound of baked goodness & they're almost impossible to not eat all in one sitting because they're that addicting. They're baked to perfection every time. The outside is a bit crunchy & the inside is soft like they were just taken out of the oven, I don't know how they pull that sorcery off! The flavors of the ingredients really come through, you can taste how fresh everything is. I also really enjoy the fact that they release new menu art monthly & offer exclusive character trading cards when you purchase a box of 3 cookies. There's also a handful of other merch they sell like shirts, candles, & pins with the beautifully creepy work on it. The art is created by the genius "Mr. Eyes" & it really helps tie in the antique/spooky vibe they're going for. The attention to detail put into this bakery is awesome. Much like the one in Disney Springs, this one (located @ East End Market) can definitely get crowded. Being that this was their 1st location it's understandable that it's on the smaller side. If you're in a rush or don't like standing in lines I would recommend using the online ordering they offer. Regardless of how you choose to get your baked goods, the workers always have a friendly attitude when interacting with them. The only negative thing I could say is they're on the pricey side. It's a bit easier to rationalize when you only get it a couple times a year though. I don't like to throw the word "perfect" around too often but there's really not a single bad thing I can point out about these cookies or the cake slices. They're worth every penny.

Holy cookie! These things are massive. We wanted to try this place out based on recommendation. The Disney Springs locations always has a wild line so we opted to drive to this location instead and there were only 3 people in front of us so it went fast. Got the banana chocolate chip cookie and it was good. Can be shareable due to size, (or not!) based on personal preference. While I really love cookies, this is one that I'd only get for special occasions. If you love large (about a half pound!) specialty cookies, this is the place for you.

TLDR- mostly novelty but still tasty. If you can try it w/o a huge line I'd say definitely go for it Although it is by no means the "Best Cookie in the World" as they're commonly called, Gideon's serves up hefty and delicious cookies at a moderate price (about $5 a pop). The line at East End moves much faster than that at their other locations, so YMMV. I was pretty happy with it, but we only waited about 5 minutes and actually enjoyed it more as cold leftovers than hot out the oven. If I had to wait 30 minutes or more, which can happen pretty often, I would be less willing to try again.

Finally got around to trying Gideon's and it did not disappoint! The location is tiny but I liked the old vintage decor and the vibe; very nice. They were out of their cookie of the month so my partner and I opted for their classic chocolate chip cookie. Gideon's does not skimp out on the chocolate chips, this cookie was huge! I was glad it was not unbearably sweet but it is decadent. This is the spot for cookie lovers. I could only finish less than half of the cookie due to the sweetness, but my partner who has a huge sweet tooth enjoyed it. I will definitely return to try other flavors.

Gideon's Bakehouse honestly makes my all-time favorite cookies. They simultaneously taste like they are fully baked and cookie dough somehow. I'm not sure how they do it but it's delicious and I haven't found a cookie elsewhere that even compares. My favorite is the Cookies and Cream, but you won't find a bad flavor here if you decide to go for something else. Don't let the $6 price throw you off, the cookies are large and very filling! Each is 1/2 a pound of deliciousness and worth every penny. This location is inside of East End Market, which will give you the chance to try out a few other food places in a small area. Parking may be difficult if you go during a more busy time of the day. There will also most likely be a line but be prepared to wait. There is covered seating available outside if you're looking to relax and enjoy your cookies right away. They do have a 7 cookie per person limit but luckily this location does offer preorder for larger quantities of desserts.

I'm pretty sure if you seek this place out, what you get is exactly what you wanted. And I'm pretty sure that thing you'll get will be deliciously perfect and perfectly delicious. We had the special of the day which was pistachio chocolate chip, along with some kind of Oreo madness, and banana bread & chocolate (!!). All were beyond good. I like to cut it in fourths and pretend I'm not eating the whole thing. These made perfect post-partum treats. If you know a pregnant woman, get these for her. Or anyone you care about really. Efficient service, fast-moving line, service with a smile, and decadent awesomeness. I think one costs less than a greeting card, so just tell someone how you feel with Gideon's instead.

We already know these are the best cookies in Orlando! Giant salty chewy cookies! There are only 2 issues - no vegan cookies & the service at the East End location (which us locals all supported to their massive Disney success) is really crumby.

Taste: 10/10 Cookies are delicious. They are rich and pair well with some milk! Appearance: 10/10 (refer to photos) Value: 10/10 They are good size cookies. General Comment: I've been here a couple of times. I am finally making a review. This place was good before, and they are good now. I haven't had a cookie that disappoints. I haven't tried their cakes yet, but I'm sure they are as good as the cookies. I'd recommend this place for a good dessert fix.

This month they went a step further by coupling the purchase of "The Sea Turtle Cookie" with promoting turtle conservation. National Sea Turtle Day takes place in June and a portion of the proceeds from the sales of the Special Edition Cookie go to this worthy effort. Turtle candies originated in 1918 and Gideon's has fashioned a cookie deserving of this well-liked sweet. The Sea Turtle Cookie is prepared with premium chocolate, homemade caramel, and whole giant candied pecans. The sweetness is balanced with Gideon's sprinkling of their signature sea salt. Aiding a great cause, supporting a wonderful business, and consuming an amazing cookie. WIN-WIN-WIN!

From the spooky decor and the fun flavored cookies, it's no wonder that Gideon's is such a local hit. The cookies are perfect for those who love a soft baked cookie (my sister dislikes them because they aren't crunchy) so keep that in mind if you don't want to feel like you're eating cookie dough. They are a little pricey for what you get but it is a pound heavy cookie that I don't tend to eat in one seating. I will cut the cookie into fourths and chuck them into the freezer to eat later. Depending on the cookie, they can be a little too sweet so I prefer the ones with salt or dark chocolate when available. The flavors are always rotating so there's plenty of different options throughout the year in addition to their standard offerings. This company use to rely a lot on FOMO marketing in my opinion so it's nice that they offer preorders online now for the East End Market. I can confidently say that Gideon's is definitely in my top 5 dessert spots in Orlando.

Customer service = super positive attitude with all of the employees even when I got to the register and couldn't make up my mind of all the cookies that I wanted lol they were so helpful and nice Food = it's now tradition every time. I'm in Orlando to try Gideons so far the cookie with pistachios and chocolate chips is my favorite super sweet a little bit of Sal. You can't go wrong slices are extremely delicious. Definitely can't eat the whole thing and one sitting.

Still a great sweet spot with wonderful ambiance. This morning we tried the limited edition's available for February; the strawberry creme cake slice, strawberry delight cookie, and the eternal flame cookie. My favorite would have to be the eternal flame cookie. It did have some heat to it but it was delicious and I enjoyed the added heat. The strawberry options were also very good. Great limited edition month!

As a pastry chef, I tend to judge a bakery based on what I call 'standard' bakery items. In addition to this I compare to other bakeries I have been to and loved. I purchased 3 cookies, chocolate chip, banana chocolate chip and crumb cake, monthly special. I loved the chocolate chip cookie. Crunchy on the outside and soft and gooey in the middle. My husband had the other 2 cookies and loved both of them. I highly recommend this bakery and will continue to shop there when in Disney Springs.

This review is for the cookies alone because they were gifted to me on my last visit to Orlando. Which is great because I did not want to waste any of my vacation standing in line for something I just knew would be all hype and no substance. It would simply be another bland bakery cookie only masked by a gimmicky glut of chocolate chips. I was wrong. Truly. This is the finest chocolate chip cookie outside of your own kitchen. While there are tons of chocolate chips on this thing you can still taste the excellent flavor of the cookie itself. I also tried peanut butter and white chocolate which were good but didn't quite reach the supremacy of the chocolate chip. One caveat, while I do think this is a chocolate chip cookie worth standing in line for, I still wouldn't wait at Disney Springs. My Orlando insider confirms that this location at East End Market is an easier experience.

The GOAT of cookies! They taste like homemade cookies but ones you can't make ! They flavors are unreal and I could easily eat one daily. The line goes quickly if there is one and we always grab several and they lazy days, they are massive! My kids love the cookies and cream, my kids loves peanut butter crunch and I love the original chocolate chip!

Love these colossal cookies. I try to stop in when visiting Disney Springs. However, at the location at East End Market you can avoid the long lines and wait. Same delicious cookies and no line no waiting.

There's no other place I'd rather review for my 300s Yelp review! This place is unforgettable. The store itself feels like it should be part of Harry Potter world with the shelves of books. The staff was extremely friendly. The cookies themselves are individually wrapped and then boxed and for good reason because these cookies are a National Treasure! The cookie flavors are unique and you'll be wanting to try every single one of them! My favorite was the Pistachio Toffee Chocolate. These cookies are not overly sweet and that makes them all the more savory. The balance between the sugar, salt and flavors is worshipable. I took one bite as we walked out and went and bought some more because I knew I needed to share this with all my foodie friends

Gideon's without the wait! Ok the Disney Springs location is cool and a destination shop. But standing in line waiting or in a queue gets old fast. Yet this shop located in a food court style area has the same quality cookies at the same price - without the wait.

This place had a 30 min line for cookies that are very artisan like. Totally worth the wait. Beautifully made and each one weighs between 1/2 lb. Loved the decor but it's not about that when you're buying cookies to go. The carrot cake was amazing, soft and moist. Great flavors of carrot and the frosting as actually pretty good. A bit on the sweet side but one to rave about because I usually don't like carrot cake from most places. I'm used to phenomenal homemade carrot cake. As for the cookies they are better than crumbl cookie. However each cookie is $6 but absolutely worth it. How do they make it so thick and yet moist and fully cooked. Cookies and cream rocked my world but don't think the chocolate chip was average. My daughter was surprised at how good it was. Pistachio toffee and the triple chocolate were all delicious, guilt free. Calorie worthy

Got the banana bread chocolate chip cookie, was amazing! Great mix between a cookie and banana bread. Was dense and fluffy. The cookie was gigantic, plenty to share. Great location to try cookies, as there's no line. The Disney springs location is a storefront but often has long lines.

Gideon's provides the best cookies! Although it is a bit pricey, it is worth it with every bite providing a nice piece of chocolate chip where you don't feel like you can't get enough of the chocolate chip! My top 3 favorites are the Original Chocolate Chip, Pistachio Toffee Chocolate Chip, and Banana Bread Chocolate Chip! Since the cookies are big and rich, and I can't finish it one sitting, I highly recommend putting the cookies in a Ziploc bag to keep them fresh, soft, and moist for a week!

The most delicious cookies I've ever had in my life. Definitely something I can't make at home kind of cookie. Stood in like for about 20 min but it was worth it. Giant size cookie and the shop is really cool inside. Nice people too. Can't wait to go back the next time I'm in Disney springs!

I love this place! The cookies here are pretty amazing! This location is here at East End market and despite the small size they are never too short of having an endless selection of cookies ready to go. I usually do a mobile order if I'm coming here on the weekends as the line can be pretty long. That way I'm in and out with my selection of cookies. My go to favorite is their Chocolate Chip cookie. It's a classic! It is topped with a delectable amount of chocolate chips layered onto of the thick but chewy dough. They do add some granules of salt on top and it's not too bad. These cookies are typically MASSIVE in size and last me a good week or two because I can only handle a small bite at a time lol. They recommend you placing their cookies in the freezer if you want to keep them fresh overtime- so if you're going to be craving a late night snack be sure to take the cookies out early in the day to thaw out! There's always great art work designs on their monthly menus and with every month and every season they'll have some new cookies and other menu items (at least at Springs for drinks and cake). I love coming here and the best part- is after I get my cookies I can enjoy what the other vendors have here as well!

The interior of this place is so cool. Cookies and ambiance definitely lives up to its hype. Line was long but it moved pretty quickly plus there was so much art work on the walls that it didn't even matter! I decided to go for a classic cookie but next time I def will get cookies and cream in addition to the chocolate chip one I had!! Worth the visit! Def a must if going to Orlando!

YES!!! The line is worth the wait, and it moves very quickly. There are so many options we had to get a few cookies. Normally I would regret it, but not at Gideons. Each cookie is gigantic and packed with flavor. I will be back in a few weeks and cant wait to try what they have instore for the Halloween season.

Came to the east end location to avoid the line at Disney Springs. If you like chewy, doughy, thick cookies these are for you! The seasonal pumpkin spiced cookie was great and so were all the others. It is limit 7 per person, so keep that in mind.
