This is such a nice shop with a great selection of designer brands. The salesman working there was super friendly. I visited some time back and got the cutest Gucci shoes. Planning another visit in a few weeks when I'll be in LA.

Visited from out of state. Free parking on the side. Handbags, shoes, clothing, and accessories. High-quality, limited finds, so the prices reflect that. I am not sure how to compare pricing as I don't shop luxury brands, and I imagine the prices would be different where I live. The customers appeared to enjoy the selections.

I love this place. It’s my go to everything from bags, shoes, dresses, jeans, tops, slacks, sweaters, blazers hats, belts, jewelry, sunglasses and so much more. I have been shopping here for years and have always had consistently great customer service and variety of product. I never leave empty handed. I recently met the owner and she is the sweetest girl and so knowledgeable about different designers. I was so great talking to her and I learned so much just talking to her. I tell all my friends about her shop and even some of my friends from Argentina have now started shopping her eBay store. Also for those of you wondering if it’s safe to shop. She has a little table set up at the entrance with masks, gloves and sanitizer, so smart and really makes you feel safe!!

Abby has a beautiful shop full of amazing clothes, shoes and handbags. I needed to get some items sold and consigned. I was in and out in 15 minutes. She has a great eye and is super professional. I look forward to visiting again soon. I highly recommend her shop for both fashion, style and consignment! If you have never been by go soon you will love the product assortment and the prices.

Literally the best consignment store in Los Angeles. Well curated, impeccable taste, and one of kind items from different designers. Has a great selection from Zimmermann with tags, Phoebe Philo for Celine, new Bottega, and vintage Jean Paul Guiltier and so much more. True gem!

Love Gift of Garb. I recently bought a Chanel and Celine handbag and they are Gorgeous!!! I love designer bags and clothing and you can't go wrong with the prices and quality at Gift of Garb. This is my neighborhood consignment store and wow did i luck out!!!! It's so cute and has everything from comme de garçons to chanel. It's mostly women but there is a very stylish men section! But really i just come to daydream about all the bags. Right now I am on the hunt for the perfect vintage blazer and I know I will find it there! And it's totally reasonably priced. Love this place.

My favorite place to shop in the entire city! The selection is expertly curated & unique -- you'll find quality high-end designer pieces you literally cannot find anywhere else. My wardrobe MVPs have all come out of GoG! Bonus: the atmosphere is homey / relaxed (no hard selling here).

This is hands down my favorite shop in LA! I love vintage and luxury, but you usually get bad quality or crazy prices. Gift of Garb has the best quality finds and great prices. And, the curation is immaculate! I find myself wanting to buy every piece.

Favorite consignment shop to sell and shop! This store always has the coolest treasures- vintage and new of the best designers! My favorite are my Gucci boots I bought here. I love Gift of Garb and have bought many pieces over the years. I still remember how amazing Abby was to work with when I bought a gorgeous Alexander McQueen jacket that was a big purchase for me back in the day. However, the last few times I have been in, the sales associates have been completely standoffish and unhelpful. After carrying around a couple items, someone came over to set me up in a fitting room and acted like it was a complete inconvenience. It's definitely a turn-off and unfortunate as I love this store otherwise.

I love consigning to this place, and I love stopping by and looking at their stock. They always have some interesting pieces from my favorite designers like the row Chanel Prada. It would be really fun to come here and try on a bunch of stuff and spend an afternoon. Really thinking about what I want to add to my closet.

I was super excited to see the collection here but unfortunately the gentleman who was working when we arrived at 5pm on a Saturday thinking I had an hour to shop btw, came up to me immediately to say he was closing in 20 mins but, "no rush". Then, after my husband and I were asking for prices on the Chanel sandal and Gucci belt, the response was, I haven't gotten a chance yet to check. Then, when we asked again, he said oh, we haven't priced it yet. I then decided to try once more for an opportunity of good customer service by asking if he had the Chanel bag I called about. He said they were in the back so I waited, and waited. And nothing happened. He was just silently typing on the computer so we left. Hugely disappointed and felt so disregarded and awful. I am also a woman of color and really hope this is not a race issue but highly concerning if I was the owner. Please do better with customer service. I would not have this person representing my store. The lack of initiative was absolutely astounding for a designer consignment store. Maybe they don't need the money... who knows but Being from LA this was thee MOST appalling LA experience I have EVER encountered. Steer clear.

Literally the best consignment shop in Los Angeles. Incredibly well curated, not just the best brands, but THE BEST of the best brands. You'll want everything. You can tell the care they take in choosing their items. Good taste.

Finally made it in today and have to say "it's everything I'd hoped". I'm a vintage and luxury lover and shop vintage OFTEN so I tend to know what things are worth. The prices here are pretty damn great. Nothing is bad quality and I left with a few items I'm in love with. I'll be back and I'm so happy this store is here now as I knew it was in Eagle Rock awhile back. This is a perfect addition to Los Feliz/Silver Lake.

Gift of Garb is my favorite neighborhood shop, and is always the first place I bring friends or family visiting from out of town. Abby does a great job curating her assortment. Flipping through racks, each item feels *special* and unique. Not only is the storefront itself darling, but the staff is always super fun and helpful. If you like designer consignment, you will LOVE Gift of Garb.

It is so important to shop sustainably, and I really try my best to scratch my shopping itch with ethical and recycled fashion. However, consignment shops tend to be a gamble with sources like The Real Real (whose heart is in the right place but the quality is such a crapshoot given the volume of items and shoppers) and other shops that feel like an expensive garage sale. And even if the inventory checks all the boxes, employees can tend to be elitists and not the most helpful or approachable. What I love about this shop is the attention to style, quality, and value with their sourcing. I always feel like I will find a treasure here. But what truly sets them apart is their kindness. I love how responsive and attentive they are on social media and eBay, and how upfront and vigilant they are surrounding COVID protocols. It really feels like they love what they do, helping people embrace and enjoy sustaining the life cycle of heritage and luxury pieces. The industry could use more places like GoG. Thanks!

I love this store! The selection is great. The idea of buying full price luxury hurts my heart and wallet. Every time I come in I'm treated warmly from the front desk girls. The environment doesn't feel like most consignment shops. It's cool and fun. It's really nice to able to support a small business. I was so sad when the venice location closed, but I'll drive to silver-lake to see the selection. *edited to add picture of the beautiful Celine shoes I purchased.

My experience with this shop has been quite disappointing multiple times. I love finding sustainable + designer secondhand and continually love finding those unique pieces to incorporate into my photo work. I also work in sustainable fashion myself and even found a few friends' brands in the store. The first time I went was with a friend and the worker at the time did not greet us or acknowledge us and rather glared at us both the whole time we were browsing. I was quite excited to check out the space as I found it had glowing reviews on Yelp, but unfortunately I felt a bit dismissed. I thought maybe the worker wasn't having the best day so I just decided to leave and let it go. I wanted to give it a second chance, so I went again a second time about two weeks ago, and it was the same. The male worker there also did not acknowledge me and the second later, another customer walked in and he immediately greeted her. I know for a fact that he saw me walk in as we made eye contact and now I'm beginning to think that this is possibly a race issue, because I'm a woman of color and the next customer was an older white woman. Not sure if he thought I wouldn't buy anything so he didn't bother with the niceties. I actually wanted to purchase both times I've gone in store, but ultimately felt turned off and didn't want to support a store that disregarded me. I've worked in fashion + luxury retail for a couple of years as well and have never treated anyone like this, even with my bad days. I'm pretty tired of this notion that people have to want to "better the community" with their stores when in fact, it seems to be the opposite. Also, maybe don't use the work of amazing POC designers to uphold this elitist type of culture. Highly disappointing and it's upsetting because the selection itself is great.

The shop is a hidden gem and worth visiting. I loved how the items were so thoughtfully curated--a wonderful mix of known names and indie/sustainable designers. The items are in impeccable condition! The owner was so helpful with my purchases. I couldn't be more thrilled. I'll be back!

Love love LOVE this gem. I found Gift of Garb during the beginning of the pandemic after having a crap ton of time to edit my wardrobe and noticing gaps in my closet that I wanted to fill. The owner edits the store so well that the Phoebe Philo Celine era lover and Zimmermann and Alaia super fem girls will both find such good pieces - which is rare. Hint - shop their instagram!!! The handle is @giftofgarb and they post pieces usually a few times a week that are available and ship for a pretty inexpensive flat fee. I try to limit how often I go so that I don't go broke, but it's pretty hard to visit without leaving with something. And black and women of color, I appreciate how well I am treated here. Maybe I've been lucky and interacted with the right staff, but I felt comfortable and at home here. And if you aren't a POC, still make the trip and go!

One of my favorite shops in LA! It's my Go-to for special events and really everything, I can't say enough how much I love this store! I had just returned from 4 months out of town and Nathan helped me find the most exquisite, gorgeous Zimmermann dress for an awards event. He has such a great eye, he even suggested the perfect makeup and nail colors. I was so happy with my look- I felt like I was in the best hands! I just brought a friend from SF here and she bought a gorgeous Raquel Allegra dress. The prices are perfect, too! The merchandise changes so much there are always the most gorgeous new pieces from my favorite designers every time I come in - Ulla Johnson, Zimmermann, Doen, Jesse Kamm, Isabel Marant! The shoe & bag collection is equally stellar! The owner, Abby, has an incredible eye, everything is so beautifully curated & perfect! It's truly a gem of a store! I can't wait to see what beauties await next time I'm in!

Pretty medium selection of overpriced, worn used items labeled as "vintage" unfortunately. The staff is never too terribly friendly either and they don't seem to know their product well. Still fun to pop in and peruse a bit if you're in the area with time to pass.

I honestly don't really know how to rate this store... But I'll give it a go! I am perpetually on the lookout for beautiful purses and shoes (Chanel is a weakness) so when I saw that this store may have both, I was on my way and excited. To start, they have a beautiful collection of items. Definitely well curated, and it is obvious that they only accept the best of anything. Two negatives... One, I really felt unwelcome. There were two women sitting behind the desk and neither said anything to me unless I asked them a question first. Even then, it really didn't feel like they wanted us there. Two, and this may be a one off, the *exact* same Lanvin dress at this store was ~$170 while it was at Wasteland for ~$90. Both where in great condition so I'm unsure of the reason for the discrepancy. So while there is less digging to do (also fewer items in general), there seem to be better prices elsewhere.

Let me start say I am a dood who is always on the hunt for a difficult wife who does A LOT of her own shopping. When I first went to Gift of Garb I told Abby what my wife liked and what she had... and she was able to guide me to a great Chanel back pack that my wife absolutely loved. I looked like a fucking hero! So now when ever my wife has a Bday or special occasion I call up gift of garb for them to start helping find something great for my wife. They always come thru! A leather jacket, Chanel shoes and a two hand bags later I have a very happy wife. Such a great cute store with great prices for high end quality pieces.

This review feels like such a waste of time as were my efforts to rectify a situation the owner easily could have accommodated me on. I was just in Gift of Garb for my first, and sadly last time. I found a beautiful sandal by an unknown brand that I later researched to see if maybe I had seen stocked somewhere before. To my surprise, I paid FULL RETAIL VALUE for this sandals. The tops of sandal were in fine condition but the bottoms were destroyed... which is fine, I already planned to have re soled. But wait--- I'm going to spend more money on a USED shoe I could've bought new?? This isn't like a cool pair of jeans where they become cooler with wear.. we are talking used leather sandals that anyone can go online right now and buy for $160 -- and I paid $168 plus tax. Yeah-- I felt pretty stupid. Gift of Garb states on their site that they research brands and current value to determine their retail prices- clearly not true. The owner, Abby, kindly could have offered to pay for the re sole work and heals ($60-70) instead has offered me $10.00. Wow. Thanks. Never coming back. Oh wait-- she also offered for me to reconsign them to her store... what??? --so you can make MORE money off of these shoes??? Incredibly insulting.

This is my all time favorite consignment store. The owner and her staff are very knowledgeable and super nice. The store is very clean and the items in great consistions and well priced. I get a lot of my bags there and visit the store regularly.

Gift of Garb is my happy place. Abby and her team make sure that I always leave happy and ready for we whatever event, trip or thing I'm shopping for. It's often last minute and I have never left disappointed. Shopping here is like running into a favorite girlfriend at Barney's except I leave with more Gucci, McQueen, Lanvin than I would otherwise be leaving with. Even my husband and 8 year old mini me love Abby and her shop because she takes the time to catch up on our lives and help guide me toward those perfect purchases. If you aren't shopping here you are totally missing out. In a world of bland, fast fashion Gift of Garb can help girl up her style game through the perfect solution of curated designer resale. I bought a coat from their eBay store and it turned out it was no longer available. They were very nice and refunded me right away. The owner even tried to get a hold of the consignor to see if she can ship the coat to me. For whatever reason it didn't work out for all of us and I was fine with the outcome. Hope to stop by one of these days to check out the store. I didn't even know it existed and I pass by the area at least once a week! It looks like they have good items in stock too.

Gift of Garb has a fabulous collection of resale clothing ranging from high end designer to more moderately priced clothing that can be worn everyday. The prices are fair, the staff friendly and knowledgeable and unlike some other places, will respond honestly if you ask, "how does this look ? or "how does this fit me ?" Seek it out. It's worth it. I bought a number of things there recently and can't wait to wear them!

This place is great. I've been a customer since they were in eagle rock. Abby and the girls have always been so kind and I've always appreciated that since it can be intimidating to walk into such a high end store where everyone looks like an actress. The store is stocked with an unbelievable amount of goodies and I've gotten thousands of dollars in credit there through selling/consigning items that no longer bring me joy. Great options for wedding dresses and great purses as well. Not cheap but neither are the brands they carry so it only makes sense.

I first stopped by GoG in November while in town for work. I love the Eagle Rock area and it's so exciting to see so many small businesses popping-up along Colorado Blvd. The owner of the shop was so sweet and went out of her way to help me find the perfect dress and shoe combo for an event I had to attend later that night. She has the shop decorated perfectly and it was so easy to sort through and find gems. The prices were right on! I will make sure to pop-in and peruse next time I'm in town.

I first went to Gift of Garb in Eagle Rock. Finally made it to their new location in Silver Lake. Didn't think it could get any better, but it did! The owner and the staff are as wonderful as always and the shop dog... I could write a whole review based on him alone! The selection and quality is beyond! I love being able to refer people. Such a great go to for Angelenos and out-of-town visitors alike. I've sent a lot of my international clients there and they always come out raving! I'll be back very soon!

Paid a visit to this local boutique via the recommendation from a friend of mine. I came in with a dire need to find a dress for a formal event and was actually successful! I really enjoyed the laid-back, personalized experience I received here. Good selection. Unlike many consignment shops, you don't have to sift through a potpourri of oddball crap to find a winner. Love my new "LBD" by Alexander Wang. Excellent condition and a quality piece I can add as a wardrobe staple. Unfortunately, there wasn't a pair of heels in my size to compliment my dress, but I received some solid inspiration. I appreciate the curated vibe of the shop and the fact they stock wearable pieces. Fun to browse through! I love being able to support local businesses and walk out with a purchase I feel confident about.

I live right around the corner from Gift Of Garb and its my to go spot if I am looking for something special. The selection is great and the prices are extremely fair if you are looking for designer pieces this is the spot. I recently bought a Prada jacket from here and it was a steal. Overall good vibes and the cute store dog is a huge +.

This is my favorite resale boutique of all time. I bring Abby a couple of bags of used designer clothing a couple time a year and I get such good money for it. I'm always blown away at the great finds Gift of Garb has in store, I feel like I hit the jackpot every time I walk in the door.

I've driven by many of times since I live up the street...I decided to go in before dinner at Eagle Rock Public Brewery and realized it was a mistake. First, the owner Abby does not hold any form of customer service experience, in relation, to making people feel comfortable, use of professional skills and being knowledgeable in all brands. Being a male, I'm still interested in shopping at a store that's intended for women, but she just looked right through me, generically answered my questions and made me feel that i was unable to provide nor buy. Then, I asked about the consignment percentage given to the customer, she stated it was 40% to the person trying to sell and she gets 60%. That's too damn high, I found Fashionphile to give its customers 70% and they keep 30%. A much better place to consign with, ...not returning

Though I agree the customer service in this place could be a bit warmer, I love their selection and I think the prices are very reasonable for said selection. I've gotten some great classic pieces here, not to mention totally scored on their $15 sale on Sundays (not every Sunday). I'm really glad this place is in my hood - it's become my go-to if I have a special event or am just in the mood for something, well, special.

I am re-posting my review because Yelp removed it since community members said this was too little detailed of a review. I'm guessing the owner asked for my review to be taken down however this is my original and I will add detail as needed "SUPER STUCK UP staff. If you're any kind business owner, the standard is to be polite and warm to the customers. The staff here act like they're too good to speak and annoyed to speak anyone. Will take my business elsewhere..." Added detail: When I visited the shop, I attempted to make conversation with the shop owner, asked her questions about the product but her demeanor was very snobby and unwelcoming. It is apparent that if one does not look like the owner (a white woman), if you're a person of color, this will dictate the treatment you will receive. I've read other reviews that have had the same treatment. I've also read responses from the owner of the shop and instead of apologizing for her patronizing behavior, she tries to invalidate their experience (by the way, you are not allowed to tell people how you made them feel Gift of garb owner). I will not be coming back to this store due to the poor customer service skills and the unfriendly environment the owner creates. Hope this is detailed enough to not get removed Yelp and gift of garb owner!

I love to shop here when I have the chance. I also visit the ebay shop since I'm in Orange County and rarely get the chance to pop in. I've purchased a few items and was quite pleased with the prices and quality. I'm a bargain shopper and frequent the thrift stores for designer labels. It can be exhausting to hunt for clothing at thrift stores and leave with nothing. I've found everything's picked through or overpriced! It was fun to do when I was younger but it's just easier to shop here. I have their shop added to my ebay app so I'm up to speed on new items. Since the majority is "buy it now" you have to be quick!
