Gigantic Brewing Robot Room

A small Portland brewery outpost with a wide variety of beer styles on tap. Gigantic is always experimenting with new beers, so there will always be something unique available, particularly with IPA styles. I had the new Gravity drop IPA on this visit ( very tasty, nice hop kick), they make an excellent Kolsch beer as well Bright fun interior with garage door walls, friendly service, swag for sale and bottles to go. On street parking, outdoor seating shared with the attached good hall.

The place and atmosphere were great. There are great options for different taste buds. The service was great. I would go back and try some other brews they have on tap.

It's such a cozy place! I like that they also have these garage doors that open up but of course they were shut because we came during Autumn. I could see how it would be a nice place to hang out when the weather is nice out. The service was great and the place was clean.

The set up is a shared food all, anchored by Gigantic Brewing. They have Great beer. Service was okay (hence the 4 stars). Comfy seats in their taproom. They have garage doors that open up to a shared outdoor patio. Beers are 20oz for $6 and some 12oz pours for $6. They have Gigantic bottled beers to go. The authentic Oaxacin Mexican food (handmade blue corn tortillas) and African food is best!

Simple yet substantial low key taproom serving up some big flavors. My favorite is the Pipewrench gin barrel IPA (and I'm not even a big IPA fan!). So glad this place is so close to home!

Chill lunch spot with lots of food options at the same building. Good beer and good service

Great setup with the various food vendors that are part of the building. Lots of different styles of beer and the server was friendly. The Timbers were on TV and this seems like a fun place to watch a game but we couldn’t stick around. Would like to come back in the summer and enjoy the covered patio.

On our final day in Portland and after a great hike, we decided we were ready for another brewery visit. When I checked nearby, Gigantic Brewing's Robot Room was nearby and we went. Gigantic Brewing has been a bucket list visit for me; we get their bottled beers locally and they're always a great. The owner Ben has been super friendly online the last few years so it was also great to come in and support the business. It was a rainy day, so we sat inside but they also had a great outdoor seating area shared with the adjoined restaurant. Restrooms are also shared, an easy walk outside the taproom beyond the bar. We were immediately greeted by a boisterous bartender, Cody, who entertained us all afternoon. We each ordered a flight, which are served in muffin trays, and quickly made the bar run out of taster glasses. We each told him what we liked and he made recommendations, many great ones. He also gave us recommended drinking orders, which I promptly forgot and was ribbed for. We ordered a few individual beers including Massive Barleywine, which is a favorite style for me. Beer quality is excellent, and I probably enjoyed it more due to the freshness. Prices were reasonable for the quality and entertainment. They also had merchandise for sale, plus bottled beer cold and ready to go. If you're a beer fan and are not familiar with Gigantic Brewing, I highly recommend it. They have other locations in the Portland area as well. Cheers!

Popped in for a quick drink to kill some time. I had originally stopped because I was driving by and saw a sign for " The Pie Spot " , but to my disappointment, they were no longer there. I headed back to my car, looked at the time, and decided to go to Gigantic Brewing (Not even realizing its a Brewery lol) I didn't know what to expect with this place, had never been there before. I was hoping to get a shot, but found out it was in face a BREWERY. So I opted for a sweeter red wine. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of it. It was good, had a great mouth feel. The service was nice, a lady was working, helped me and answered a few questions of mine as to why " The Pie Spot" was no longer there. Seating was nice, it was a garage style bar, sun shining through, and air coming through. Felt fresh and clean. I would definitely go back. You should try it out too!

Good service! Good choices of beers! Good atmosphere! Have indoor seating and outdoor seating.

Gigantic Brewing is an amazing local brewery committed to being an active part of the Portland community. I've been to multiple events in their SE location, ranging from a live interview and Q & A with local plywood artist Mike Bennett, to beer launches for The Unipiper and Soapbox Derby as part of their partnership with Weird Portland United. With so many amazing beers on tap, and a massive seating area both indoors and on several patios, Gigantic Brewing is THE place to hang out in the neighborhood. The food cart 808 Grinds serves Hawaiian plate lunches from one of the patios, making quick and delicious comfort food easily accessible. Gigantic is a company that deserves your attention, not only for their quality product, but their commitment to building community and making Portland a better place to live.

Super nice service as at their other location. Great taplist, wide variety of Gigantic beers. Plus, fridge full of what they have available in bottles. 2 available booths inside, lots of outside tables, and 4 tables inside the foodhall where you can enjoy their beers on site or you can take out bottles. Burmese/sushi, Somali, Mexican, and pie restaurants to eat here or take out, to go along with the taproom.

A nice time at Gigantic. Friendly people and good food at hand. Plenty of beer to choose from!

You would think with the place being deserted they would be a little more friendly? Whatever you do don't ask to taste anything because you get the impression that it's an offensive question. Gave it a spin but won't be back, service is shite!!

Another satellite brewing spot in my neighborhood along side of Baerlic. Pretty stoked to have two great breweries so close together. Gigantic is great beer. Looks like they will have some good on-site food as well. Sushi, African food, and Mexican food. The brewery itself is fairly small with limited seating but the outdoor area is good. Very happy to have gigantic in this area.

Won't lie the beer was good. Server was so rude. Seemed like they hated their job, customers. Miserable personality. I remember when people loved their jobs.
