Really tasty and well balanced cupcakes! The frosting is sweet but not overly so. The cake is dense and perfect for balancing out the quantity of frosting. Tried a couple different flavors 🧁 Only con was that you’re unable to customize anything under a dozen mini cupcakes. Would be super neat if the 4 pack was customizable but the top 4 were still delicious.

One of the best cupcakes in the Austin area! They offer a great variety of flavors, and the prices are very reasonable. The small dine-in area is a nice touch, allowing you to enjoy your cupcake fresh.They have gluten free option. Highly recommended!

We were on a road trip and luckily found this Gigi’s cupcakes in Austin. We have loved their products for many years and will continue to return. The flavor, freshness and presentation were right on par for what we have come to expect there. The service however, left a lot to be desired. First, the large teen or just thereafter seemed like we woke him when we walked up to the counter. Our first question for him was “Can we still buy a dozen?” His slow response was…. “They are $5 dollars each!” We were not phased and about 30 delayed seconds later he replied again with, “That’s $60”. While I commend him on the math, the customer service aspect left plenty to desire. We went past our 12 we asked about and left with 13. He didn’t offer any other quick math, just rung us up and we weee off to Houston to share these delicious treats with our family. We will be back to that location. I just hope the young person gets the proper training that he should.

I feel like when working in such a store with all the sugar & sweets you should have a smile on your face 100% just a up beat spirit. So I purchased two cupcakes (Cherry cheesecake, Oreo and 4 little variety minis). My personal opinion cherry cheesecake was the best one. All the other ones that I picked were dry no moistness hard with no flavor. I was disappointed. Other than that the shop was clean smelled clean.

Amazing!!. I have order cakes and cup cakes from Gigi's before and they have always been delicious and super cute decorations. My son turn 1 this past month and I have to say this was the best cake I have gotten from them. I was very detailed on what I wanted and they made me the perfect cake. I wanted a Ms. Rachel cake but it coupdnt be girly because it was for a boy, i didnt want it too sweet because it was for a 1 yr old, the picture of Ms. Rachel had to be in the middle but not too big because I wanted to say happy birthday Alexander around it and I also wanted a 1 somewhere because he was turning 1. I completely loved it, they got every detail. It was a hard request but they sure made it work. I recomend them anytime ☺️. Amazing work.

My experience at Gigis a few weeks back was amazing and I wanted to ensure I wrote this review about how pleasant my experience has been at this location. We were hosting a Mardi Gras themed party for over very first home event. My boyfriend and I immediately thought of GiGis when we were in need of king cake inspired cupcakes, as their cupcakes are always over the top beautiful. The whole process from start to finish was amazing - we were easily able to communicate with Savannah exactly what we were wanting and she and the whole GiGis team made our vision come to life! We picked up the cupcakes and was treated with nothing but hospitality and care by the two lovely young ladies working that day (Savannah and another lady I can't remember her name). This was a large order that could have been a disaster, but the team and attention the staff gave us was on point and I believe is a huge reason everything went so smoothly. We will 100% go through GiGis again when we host our next party!

I've tried to like this place a number of times but it just never works out. Today was another hit and miss. I like fresh cupcakes that are soft and moist. For whatever reason, every time I visit the cupcakes always seem to be heavy, dense and a little on the dryer side. Todays pick was red velvet, cookie dough, midnight chocolate and peanut butter cheesecake. Adding here that I didn't even mention HEB in initial review. My fave cupcakes were from "Sweet Cakes for You" bakery, but sadly they closed for family reasons but they would have lines around the block. I see now that the owner just replies with rude messages. I wasn't trying to be rude, I was just commenting on my experience. That's what Yelp is for.

It was our first time to visit Gigi's, and we will definitely be back!! We were greeted very kindly and were given a great description of the different flavors. My son is a chef and he is a tuff critic. He gave high praise about these cupcakes! They were so good and he loved the vegan ones!

First visit and they had three super-yummy Gluten Free options (some of the best I've had in the area). Loved to see the minimal plastic in their packaging. Friendly service. Recommend!

Received 6 cupcakes as a birthday surprise from a friend- first time trying Gigi's. Chocolate, red velvet and vanilla were all rich and flavorful- vanilla was the stand out! Can't wait to visit the store

Gigi's has a great variety, I have tried many of their cupcakes and all of them are delicious. They also have vegan options!

Let's start by saying the cupcakes are fantastic, BUT the girls who work here are always very rude, specifically the woman with pretty tattoos. It makes me sad because when I think about cupcakes, you want happy moments. I arrived right at 6:00 PM. The two girls closing cumulatively made me feel like I never wanted to come back. This wasn't the first time and last time, they were not closing. I never do reviews, but this being the second time I dealt with rude employees, I thought the management team might see and care.

I came to Gigi's the other day and they do not accept cash so I had to come back today. I ordered the strawberry shortcake and the birthday surprise cupcake for a friends birthday. Cupcakes are about $4.95 a piece and they are beautiful (with lots of frosting lol) there are a few GF and V options as well! Service was really friendly. It's in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking!

Okay, so I've been wanting to come to Gigi's since I discovered another restaurant that is next door, okay a few doors down. Well, today after work, was the day, I finally came in. It is in a strip mall, so the parking lot is like right in front of the buildings. And across the drive. Okay, let's get inside. The wall decor is very nice, cupcakes decorated so beautifully. A gorgeous piece of the 360 bridge, which is my absolute favorite bridge. Every time I drive over, I have to take a picture. If you turn me into the cops, I'll deny it! (Side note, be sure to delete all criminating pictures.) anyway, 360 bridge is such a beautiful representation of Austin. I love that the bridge mural has its own wall, with Bee Cave written across it. Even though the bridge is not in Bee Cave. But this gorgeous Gigi cupcake bakery is! And let's talk about their cupcake displace. I feel like they wanted everything white and very bright so the cupcakes, which are works of art by the way, they just stand out even more. I can't wait to show you the pictures I took. Everything is stunning. Like it's just the most perfect looking cupcake and frosting design. A true master piece in each. To the baker/ designer, you can't learn that in school, that's a God given gift! God blessed your hands and creative mind! After taking a bunch of pictures, you will see soon, I finally decided on my cupcake. The S'mores camp fire. I had to take it home, they were getting ready to close, and I didn't want to be that person. I do want to mention, there are no prices listed. Not even on my side of the register when I inserted my credit card. I guess if you have to ask how much a cupcake is, you can't afford it. It's a cupcake, not a Bugatti EB 110. but I did notice on the counter they have an app? I asked about it and she said that you earn points. I haven't done the app yet, but I will by the next time I go. Oh yea, I'm coming back baby! So my first experience, is a sweet bakery, see what I just did there? Sweet, bakery. Get it? It's small inside, with a few tables with flowers on them. It's very clean. I don't remember if they had public bathroom or not. I think it's a sweet place to go for dessert, or take home. The packaging of the cupcake, too sweet! I mean, this is top of the line. The bag is beautiful and pink, it's a gift ready to be delivered. And the box the cupcake sits in, it's a hard cardboard very sturdy and beautiful as well. Both the bag and box are gorgeous. They are gift ready for ANY occasion. Now, how was the cupcake, you're dying to know right? So I got home, and mind you, this cupcake was my dinner, because I had a big lunch. So I plate it, and take the paper off the cupcake. I slide my fork all the way down. From the top of the frosting, which is about 2 inches high by the way! Insane amount of frosting. I slid my fork through that fudgy chocolate cupcake. Take my first bite, and it just melts in your mouth. The frosting is creamy, but it's like real frosting so it's like the grit of the sugar, you know what I mean. It's not butter cream, it's old school frosting, it has body, it has vanilla flavor, it's thick, but creamy too, and it's 2 inches of full on frosting! Mine was decorated with a small drizzle of chocolate on top, and the cutest tiny marshmallows on top of that drizzle chocolate. The cupcake itself, it's fudgy. It's a heavy cupcake, fudge like, I don't know how else to explain it. This is not HEB folks. This was made with heart. What makes it fudgy? It's more than a moist cupcake. I can't get over that flavor and texture. It's outstanding. I don't think I've ever enjoyed any other cupcake than the one I had at Gigi's. Hands down, the best cupcake. Like this is competition quality! I want to mention they have ice cream as well. And they do have some seating outside. I know Austin is a dog friendly city, but Texas health does not allow dogs inside any food type restaurant. Did I miss anything? If you lasted to the end of my review, thank you so much. This is one of my longer ones. It just means I had so much to say about Gigi's. It really is 5 stars. It's beautiful, it's delicious, it's a gift/occasion quality. And I'm excited to download that app and go back to try another flavor. I forgot to ask if they have a "flavor of the month" Thank you for supporting my review. The cupcakes are so good! My favorite is the blackberry cupcake, seriously one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. The staff is nice as well! Only downside, and this does happen because no one is perfect, I found a small blue plastic piece in my German chocolate cupcake. Probably came off a package when the baker was making the batter? It's kind of thick so not sure where it would be from. So just an fyi to the owners to make sure their bakers are being careful when ripping bags and containers open.

After taking a short hike out in the hills, we randomly craved something sweet and this place happened to be nearby. I'm very glad this place was nearby because the cupcakes were delicious. I really can't say anything negative about them. They are packed full of flavor and we're he perfect consistency. My favorite was the miss unicorn, mostly because of the strawberry cake! Also, for under $4 each I'd say they're reasonably priced!

Wow just wow! We stopped here after an appointment and I have a massive cupcake addiction so just had to pop in and try some! I bit my temptation and only got a box of 4 and what a regret I have for not getting a full dozen, but my hips don't regret it! Got the box of 4 and got a red velvet, Oreo, cookie dough and a caramel one. The red velvet was classic and so moist and flavorful! The Oreo was perfection and just rich enough without being too much! Caramel was perfecto and just didn't want it to end. And to top it off the cookie dough. Holy hell this cupcake was just amazing perfection I couldn't believe it was a cupcake took me outta the Milky Way took me off this planet just amazing perfection and made the stop in beyond worth it In all honesty these cupcakes are some of if not the best cupcakes we have ever had and trust me I have sampled and tasted many many cupcakes! You will not regret popping in here and trying these bad boys! They are crushing the cupcake game!!

Bought a dozen minis for my friend's birthday. They looked exactly as expected. They tasted even better. Favorites were the strawberry. Tasted the fresh strawberry bits in the cake. The other favorite was the red velvet. The cake was tender and yummy. The cream cheese frosting was what I'm really after. I ordered the night before and it was ready when I arrived in a hot pink paper bag. 3 adults ate a dozen mini cupcakes after crushing pizzas. It was a fantastic evening. No carb left uneaten. I tried to get a birthday cake and I was told I needed to give them 2 weeeks. But the worker was rude as f when I said I'd never have to give two weeks before she just blew me off.

Had some cupcakes delivered over the weekend to celebrate a friends birthday. We ordered four cupcakes, each a different flavor. This review is entirely for the cupcakes themselves since I didn't go to the actual store. These cupcakes are fantastic! Way better than Sprinkles and I actually love Sprinkles. I had the strawberry cupcake and it had actual strawberries in the batter. The cake itself was light and not at all dry like some cupcakes can get. The bake was perfect. The buttercream was amazing, though there was a lot of it. My other cupcake that I ate the next day (still tasted completely fresh) was their special peanut butter one. The cake was rich and the peanut butter was well balanced and not too sweet. My friend had the chocolate chip cookie dough and the salted caramel cupcakes. She said the chocolate chip one buttercream tasted like actual cookie dough and she loved it. She took the other one with her, so I don't know how that one was, but I can only assume it was as good as the others. The cupcakes were packaged in an adorable box that had holders inside so they wouldn't tip over. They were then in a cute bag with directions go drive safely. It was so well done. I am thrilled that I finally got to get some Gigi's Cupcakes and can't wait till the next time I order!

These are really good cupcakes and they always have lots in stock the day of. My favorite was the Cookie Monster--the kids went nuts over it. They look and taste amazing!!

What a disappointment! I went to Gigi's once a few years ago and wasn't crazy about it, but had a basic one I liked. I just went back and thought I was getting one of the one's I liked (couldn't remember which one). So, I got two of their "favorites." A Wedding Cake and Strawberry Shortcake. They were both pretty bad, overly sweet and didn't taste like they were made with all butter. They actually had an artificial flavor. Next time I get a craving for a cupcake that's convenient, I'll go to my local grocery store. Too bad The Steeping Room closed, as they had the best pastries on Earth.

Oh YUMMY! is all I can say. I ordered some cupcakes online for curbside pickup. They were ready right on time. The frosting on them is thick and there's plenty of it. The cupcake itself is moist but dense and very tasty. The cheesecake was very rich and heavenly. I can't wait to find another reason to go back

I have been wanting to try this 'Sweet' Cafe for a while now and was Pleasantly Surprised when my daughter and son-in- law sent me a 'Cupcake' Gift for my Birthday. What an Amazing Treat. My husband and I cannot get enough of these Delicious Delicacies. Besides being Absolutely Beautiful, they are Scrumptious, Yum !! I was amazed that two of my treats were 'Cheesecake Cupcakes' what a wonderful surprise ! Then of course, there had to be a Chocolate Cupcake and a Confetti Vanilla one ! These are the Best Cupcakes I have Ever Eaten and am Extremely Lucky that they are so close to my home, (although I might gain a few pounds)! Today I had the red velvet and was introduced to a cupcake that could change your life. Oh goodness! Meredith is such a talented baker!! And And ...And... And... And ......they have a Gigi's cookie sandwich I tried that was AMAZING! We drive 34 minutes to get cupcakes from this location and there is a reason why.... incredibility! p.s. while I'm in the yelp confessional booth, i also had the double chocolate and midnight magic minis and WOW, so moist. i promised myself to eat only one of the four but ate three. no resistance. if you are wanting not to counteract your treadmill time so drastically, go for the mini indulgences!

Absolutely the best cupcakes around. The red velvet is my favorite, but anything I've tried from Gigi's has not disappointed. Quality and consistency are on point!

While the cupcakes taste good, the customer service is incredibly lackluster. I successfully ordered custom cupcakes once (after a ton of back and forth) but the second time was a complete disaster. I would recommend steering clear of this bakery for anything special.

I just love Gigi's cupcakes! The girls that work the front are always so sweet and these are the most delicious cupcakes! I've now ordered two custom orders from here for cake and cupcakes and both times I was so happy with the result. They were exactly as expected and cake was delicious. The colors were perfect! I'm so glad to have a consistently good cupcake and cake bakery in Bee Cave and will definitely custom order from here again!

This is one of those instances where the product is well executed, but just isn't my style. The wife and I popped in here on our way back from Spicewood when my sweet tooth hit. The location is clean and well kept, the cupcakes are gorgeous, even the cake itself is moist. But man, there is half a cup (I'm slightly embarrassed to say I scraped it off and measured) of frosting per cupcake. Some people like a ton of frosting, but it just isn't for me. We ordered the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and the Double Stuff cupcakes, with the latter being our favorite. We were a little bit disappointed to find out that the only way to get mini-cupcakes was to order the large assorted box, though reading the reviews, I suspect we simply showed up too late in the day and they were already sold out.

Been open for about 8 months and just discovered it when visiting a nearby store in the same small strip. Loads of lovely cupcakes (including minis) and they have NadaMoo organic, dairy-free ice cream! They also have gluten free options. Super clean and cute store. The nicest service and they have a great customer reward plan. After signing up, you automatically get a free cupcake on your next visit. Yay!

It would have a cake component and maybe frosting on it. It would be in simple flavors like chocolate, vanilla or fudge. Over the years cupcakes have become a thing that you can do professionally, heck there's even is a competition on TV for it. One place even boasts a cupcake ATM. So let me tell you first of all that the cupcakes that came out of this particular store were some of the best, most FLAVORFUL AND MOIST cupcakes I have had in a VERY long time. I came in on a Sunday afternoon with my family and we selected a variety which came as part of a deal of buy 5 get one free. There were some amazing flavor choices and The employees we interacted with were knowledgeable and seemed to know about the flavors, even the coffee was outstanding. "But Odie, it's just a FRANCHISE..." The thing about franchises is that sometimes ownership makes a difference. In this case you have three friends, UT alumni, football players and lovers of cake coming together to make our belly smile. So you should go to Gigi's and have some cupcakes and make your belly smile.

Finally MOIST cupcakes!!! I had lost faith that I would ever find cupcakes that would live up to the hype. Today, my faith in humanity and cupcakes were restored, thank you Gigi's. There were so many options, how do you choose just one - I got 6. The family and I ate 4 at the store and we have 2 more for later....the gift that keeps on giving. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. There were gluten free and vegan options....practically health food. Not just cupcakes - they make cakes too! Don't forget to grab a cup of coffee while you're there. The coffee is legit! Gigi's you're the real MVP! Can't wait to come back!

We got a mixed dozen for a friend's birthday and they were a huge hit! The woman who helped me was wonderful and delightful. So fun!

Amazing amazing amazing. From their flavors all the way through to their packaging, everything about Gigi's is a treat. I had these for my sheltering-in-place birthday and I felt completely spoiled and festive! They do seasonal and regular flavors and each one I have is my new favorite.

Wow, really great cupcakes! Nice little cupcake shop in Bee Cave. Delicious soft cake with fabulous frosting. They even have vegan cupcakes. I got the salted caramel which was full of flavor and had some chocolate filling in the cupcake as well. Staff was friendly. Shop has indoor seating and outdoor seating and everything was neat and clean. Located in the new shopping strip. They have the right ratio of frosting to cake and the frosting isn't overly sweet. They also serve the cupcakes at the right temperature so the buttercream stays the correct level of softness.

These decorative cupcakes don't just look pretty, they taste damn good too! My current favorite is the raspberry peach, tastes like a Bellini! We love using Gigi's for gifts, an afternoon pick me up, and events.

I probably go here more than I should haha I absolutely love these cupcakes and every damn time I get carried away in buying to many! I may need to find a new dog park or take a different way home so I won't stop here so much. My favorite cupcake, all of them! However, the cake itself is moist but not all air like I've experienced at other places and the frosting is just perfect no matter what you choose. I do love their strawberry flavors and anything chocolate the most. For reals though there hasn't been one cupcake that's been bad from here!!

I come to Gigi's for their amazing cupcakes which are as delicious as they are beautiful. However my most recent experience was with their custom cake department. I requested a cake for my baby shower and received so many compliments on its flavor, nearly every guest asked to take slices home. It was a huge hit. Thank you to the talented cake bakers/designers working at Gigi's!
