Yelp
Food is horrible, my Filipino God Mother would curse me out if i attempted to serve her the Chicken Adobo this establishment is serving. Just stick with their bubble tea can't f that up too bad. ‍

Yelp
This is our go to for boba drinks. Not all boba places allow you to make drink adjustments but this places does. I've experienced consistency with the quality of the drinks and never had an issue with my order. I've order both in person and via delivery and I've never experienced a long wait and customer service is pleasant.

Darrel Y.

Yelp
This is the worst Food I think I ever had in my life. It was terrible. The pork had little pieces of fat, the chicken and the rice was dry . It was horrible. Don't waste your time coming here $30 wasted

E-jay G.

Yelp
Best boba in the area hands down, and the Filipino inspired taco/bowls are both delicious and unique. One of the go-to spots for comfort food in Fort Washington.

Yelp
I've been here a number of times and each time I try something new. If you're into boba, teas, cold drinks and baked goods, this is their sweet spot. Everything else, in my case, has been burnt, cold or over cooked. On my first visit I had the mozzarella sticks and taro boba. The taro was delicious, but the mozzarella sticks were served cold, as in they weren't cooked all the way through. On my next visit, my friends all got taro teas and I decided to go with the buffalo chicken fries, this was the best tasting of all four dishes Ive tried. They were cooked enough, the cheese was melted, but I added more buffalo sauce because I like things spicy. They reminded me of the garbage plates I used to get in college in New York. On my last visit I tried the Siopao, and pork bbq skewers. What I received was over cooked and burnt. The pork bbq was burnt to the point the meat had charred and was inedible. The siopao had been left in the steamer too long, to the point it had turned brown and hardened. The rice tasted good though.

Yelp
Okay so this place has been showing up on my IG quite a bit so I figured I'd give it a try tonight. I had no idea what to expect but was a bit worried because my father said when he went it wasn't good, but this was a while ago and management changed or the name changed I don't know. But when he picked up the food he realized it wasn't the same place he had been to previously (luckily). Some of these things I haven't had before so I don't have anything to compare it to taste wise. We ordered: Mild chicken wings- they weren't bad, they definitely tasted more like a bbq sauce than mild sauce. But there was plenty of the sauce. Baliwag- I had no idea what this was, but it was a whole bunch of bread lol. I didn't taste yet because I was full from everything else but I will update my review when I do. Pork siopao- Again I did not know what this was, I saw it briefly one day while scrolling on IG. But it was delicious! I ordered them steamed but you can get them fried or get them to cook at home(I think that's what it said). The pork was sweet and I was surprised when I saw a boiled egg in it. Definitely would order again. Pork rinds ( chicharon)- I actually thought this was gonna be more like the chewy chicharron that I've gotten at Latino places but it was more like the pork rinds you get at the store. Except they were fresher. These were also very good and I had to stop myself from bringing the whole bag to my room and eating them all night. Some pieces were mostly skin while there were others that still had some fat so gave a nice little chew. Veggie lumpia- Again something I have heard of but never had. Pretty good, not sure what the sauce was with it but it was pretty good too. Buffalo chicken ranch fries- This was good too and a good portion. BBQ Chicken skewers- these were good, too much sauce on it for me but I don't think I read it was bbq so I just wasn't expecting it. But I would get again. Cheesesteak- good, nice portion Thai iced tea- this was supposed to be the best, I've never had a Thai iced tea I didn't like but this was it. I've gotten Thai iced tea from both Thai restaurants and pho restaurants and they were perfectly sweet but this just didn't hit the mark. This one wasn't as sweet, but If that's your thing then this is for you. IF I was to try it again I would def up the sugar.

Yelp
First, and likely last, time I try this place. We ordered 2 Brisket Fries, Filipino BBQ Skewers, and 1 Siopao (like a beef empanada). The total was $46.10. My biggest issue was the old microwaved rice I got with my order (skewers). Look at the video: I couldn't even break it with a fork. That's the result of rice being overheated in the microwave. If you're going to serve reheated rice, fine, but don't let it turn into a solid piece. My son and husband got the brisket fries. My son said it was "good", hence the 3 stars. The staff was a young crowd and they were nice. Sucks cause I'd been wanting to try this place forever, and to spend almost $50 on cold and old food, didn't leave a good impression. But I believe maybe I just got unlucky.

Yelp
I found out about Gigi's Kitchen when I was looking for a bubble tea place around the area (there's one housed inside the same building called AunTea). The first thing that caught my eye when I browsed through their Instagram was the brisket pao -- beef brisket smoked for 16 hours inside a fluffy steamed pao bun (think bao or siopao). I recommend it to anyone looking to try something new. The brisket was thinly sliced, smoky and well seasoned. Overall, it was pretty good but the bun was too big and the fries it came with weren't really that crispy. A few weeks later, I saw that they had a new brisket dish added to the menu: brisket fries. Since I did like the brisket pao, I decided to give this one a try. The brisket, again, was super tasty. This time it was cubed though. The dish was okay. I think they put too much sauce, and again, the fries weren't crispy either, which was pretty disappointing. I don't think it was worth the $16 I paid. I'm still willing to try Gigi's again since I regularly go to Auntea. Auntea also sells popcorn chicken which, I guess, is made from the same kitchen. That chicken is actually bomb.

Ashaad H.

Yelp
This place is easy to miss if you drive by it too fast. But once you have them for the first time, you'll surely be back! I found out about Gigi's Kitchen through social media, and a short clip of them preparing their brisket fries captivated me. I knew that the next time I went to Fort Washington, MD, Gigi's would be getting a visit from me. I was able to place an online order and my food was actually ready a few minutes earlier than the estimated time. Both loaded fry options are great! But I liked the Buffalo chicken ranch fries slightly better. Love the fact that they pack the fries with toppings too! The sauces compliment each dish as well. Next time I visit, I have to grab a boba tea!

Yelp
I was a little confused walking in, there are two pickup areas for take-out, one for the specialty drink bar then further in is the kitchen pick-up. They have a nice waiting area but they are not doing sit down dining. The wait was a little long, even after waiting 30 min to come in I stood there for about five min. I did enjoy the garlic knot pizza/calzone so it was worth the wait.

Marvin L.

Yelp
My expectation were super high going into this plays. It's definitely above average but not amazing.

Brittany N.

Yelp
The lumpia was so burnt or cooked in old gease. The chicken cheesesteak tast like chopped chicken breast very Bland not tasty . I saw tik tok and really wanted to try it but i regret spending 37 dollars on un edible food

Rona R.

Yelp
Food is amazing and the prices are fair. Who knew you can find such a gem in Fort Washington. The pizza is amazing and lumpia is even better. I didn't get to take pictures this time because I was so hungry. But this is my favorite go to spot when I want something close by and tasty. The Pan De Sal is also fresh and tasty. I've never had a bad experience with all the times I've been here. They have quite the menu which you can find online as well. But they are also friendly but I'd advise you to call ahead to avoid the crowd and wait. Highly recommend them is f you're near by.

Michelle ..

Yelp
Their wings were great the ube cake is amazing so good and the mango milk tea will definitely go back soon!!!

Isabella B.

Yelp
Went for the boba and it didn't disappoint! Got the strawberry milk with Yakolt for a popping Boba for my son and a Vietnamese iced coffee for myself. Yummy. I also bought a pack of the pork buns and microwaved one at home for 1 minute (they said 2 min but depending on your MV I'd just don1 Min) and dipped in sriracha and the sesame sauce they provided. Yummy lunch. I'll be back.

Shakira G.

Yelp
Kept seeing this place on UberEats & finally decided to try. I had the steak & cheese, mozzarella sticks & Hawaiian wings. The steak & cheese was good, would've been better if the meat wasn't so dry. The mozzarella sticks were hard and almost seemed store brought. I had union rings instead of the French fries, they were ok. Lastly, the Hawaiian wings weren't cooked to my liking (I like my chicken well done) I popped them in the air fryer the next day and they were pretty good. The food lasted me two days, overall it was okay - wasn't the worst but wasn't best.

Leichardti F.

Yelp
This place sure changed (maybe owners?). A lot less food to order, and less meaning now only a few items and half the time they are sold out of popcorn chicken & lasagna which is sad because those are probably the best things they got (how do you run out of diced chicken?). Boba teas need to be in a larger cup just to fit more ice, cause in two minutes all your ice is melted and it begins to get warm. At least they still have some filipino bakery items, the sioupau is still all dough though. No seating yet due to pandemic.

Dom F.

Yelp
I was in the mood for lumpia and saw this was around the corner from my travels. Place is small, clean and they made my order quickly. Less than 10 mins after calling in my order, I had delicious, piping hot lumpia! Yum! This is also the first time I've seen a Filipino- Italian menu- they do not carry most of what you'd find in a typical Filipino restaurant but it took care of my lumpia craving.

Devon J.

Yelp
I am inbtwn with this place. I ordered garlic knots and chicken skewers with rice. The garlic knots actually have real minced garlic all over them, which I absolutely did not like. They are way too garlicy... The chicken skewers normally come with BBQ sauce but I don't like BBQ so I got them plain. They are a little under seasoned but I loved the char they have on the chicken.

Lina M.

Yelp
DoorDash delivery order was incomplete. I ordered lumpia, 6 pack of each chicken and beef empanadas. I had to pay a $7 tip for the delivery person to bring me a small pack of dry, hard chewy day old fried lumpia. The business should have called me and asked to substitute my empanadas for something else instead of just taking the full charge of $35 for an incomplete order. DoorDash was able to refund my money. Never will order from here again!

Bruce P.

Yelp
Had my pizza delivered. Crust was brick hard, The toppings look thrown together and my pizza was cold. Won't ever order here again.

Richie S.

Yelp
Don't let my very high quality iPhone 12 Pro camera fool your taste buds or hunger. I came here with my wife she got the brisket loaded fries and I ordered the pork and chicken on the stick (skewers) with white cilantro rice. We were very much excited because we only get to eat meat on the stick during my country's New Years. Unfortunately when we got our food the brisket was as hard as a rock like 2 day old left over meat and the fries weren't even crispy or crunchy they were soggy old fries. The pork and chicken on the stick were impossible to chew due to the fact it being old as hell, seems like all the kitchen did was microwave em up to order, no way in hell were they made today or even the past 24 hours. The rice had cilantro but absolutely no flavor not even any salt and the edges were hard as a rock like old white rice that's been sitting in the instant pot for the past 12 hours on high temperature. I attempted to finish a single meat on the stick but it was impossible to chew. So I saved it and brought home for my dog to eat. And stopped by chipotle to get a simple chicken and rice bowl because my wife and I worked all day and that was our first meal of the day, which totally failed. Best thing at this establishment were the pork grinds and bottle brisk soda. We spent just under 40$. Would not recommend this restaurant unless you enjoy old dried up meats and hard rice or looking to feed your pup at home. 0/5 stars they don't even deserve a single star because they are disgrace to all Filipino and Asian people.

Amanda G.

Yelp
Supporting local businesses during COVID and I'm happy to say my first time at Gigi's was well worth the trip to Fort Washington from DC. AuntTea (AunTea?) Boba is also inside the same restaurant as Gigi's. I ordered a Halo Halo boba drink and it was like a Taro slushee with halo halo toppings. Very yummy and not too icy or sweet. I primarily came for the Filipino baked goods and I am very happy with what I purchased. I ordered lumpia(decent lumpia that was flavorful), chicken pandesal, pack of Ube pandesal, siopao and Empenadas. Wowwww the siopao was delicious! They offer to warm up the food for you. I ate it on the drive home and I was really happy the chicken inside was not dry and the bun was moist. The real winner is their empanadas! Dough breading is firm yet bouncy when eaten, flavor is a hint sweet and salty, balanced well with a good ratio to filling inside. I am from San Diego--city filled with Filipinos and accustomed to a range of good and bad Filipino style empanadas. Some empanadas are more like Jamaican and Hispanic flaky crust and these are more like brioche bread! I would definitely recommend to all the DMV Filipinos to try this spot out. It's a little out of the way but I would definitely come back. :)

Anthony G.

Yelp
Great fresh delicious pizza ,wings and loaded fries and even great drinks and great cheese steAks

Ma-e M.

Yelp
Empanada bread was bad. The bread was thick but the filling of chicken or beef was little. The white bread with pork carnitas inside was okay. But when Antonio used to bake these, I think they were better because they had some boiled eggs inside. The fried lumpia roll was hard and oily. Overall, I will not buy from Gigi's. If I am in the area, I will skip Gigi's to go to Lumings.

K B.

Yelp
Not sure what's happening here, but the quality of the food is going down, orders are missing things. Was so happy this place was actually good in the area, but skimping on things is not the way to keep people coming back.

Dariln A.

Yelp
Sadly the wings weren't that good come to find out they had feathers in them still absolutely disappointed drinks were good food I don't recommend

Kristin H.

Yelp
Love it here! I get either the chicken or regular cheesesteak with fries and it's consistently good. One of these days i'm going to branch out and try something new. I order on the app and have never had to wait. The service is quick and efficient. If I stayed on that side of town i'd be a regular.

Pep P.

Yelp
You guys have gotten even better since the new ownership and name change. From my Mothers text to me from tonight's pickup "Gigi's must have the best eggplant parmesan in the area " and that I agree- had it last night and it was delicious and the calzone- holy yes that dough! Would love to see more vegetarian or seafood options for this here Pescatarian! Recently went back and had the Knot Pizza - wowzer- now that's a pizza- the best of 3 worlds! Pizza on one side, calzone on the other and knot bread on top. Perfection! Appreciate the grand portion sizes to be able to split or save for the next day- it reheats beautifully! Keep it up- looking forward to more menu expansions and love the Bubble Tea shop and the Taco collaboration too!

Mageli T.

Yelp
Best siopao and pandesal in DMV made fresh in Gigi's Kitchen. They also serve Italian food (pizza, calzone, lasagna, etc), American (steak and cheese, buffalo wings, etc$ and AunTea Boba is inside Gigi's kitchen. The best and the only bubble tea place in Fort Washington, MD.

Lesley R.

Yelp
I only ordered the crab egg rolls and they were horrible! They look nothing like the ones on their IG page. It was definitely false advertisement. I gave them 2 stars because although I didn't order any, their drinks looked good.

Cello's P.

Yelp
The food wasn't nowhere near good as the yelp reviews said. Very limited & plain menu. I guess I'm use to city sub shops offering so much more & better deals. Then they only give you a small portion of fries the prices were fair. Luckily I was out here working & nothing longer cause I would never recommend this place to a true foodie.

Super C.

Yelp
The Hawaiian wings are the best!!! Pizza is good too but definitely needs Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper flakes.

Lisa B.

Yelp
I visited this establishment around four years ago for the first time and ordered a pizza. It was delicious. I don't remember what I had on it but knowing me it was some veggies with a protein. Last night I was looking for a good pizza and remembered how good this one WAS some years ago. Whoa, what the heck has happened to this place? I ordered a medium pizza, buffalo wings and lasagna. The pizza was absolutely horrible. The crust was some already made crust crap. I don't think they put cheese on it and I think I paid almost thirty dollars for it!! The wings didn't have that much color. Another five minutes would have been nice and that lasagna....THE WORST LASAGNA I HAVE EVER HAD!! Not enough sauce, cold and drippy wet. There was water in the bottom of the bag. The thing wasn't even red with sauce, it looked orangy/yellow. Their menu is all over the place. I think they need to figure out what they are good with and only cook that. Won't be returning. Their Boba was decent.

Rosie L.

Yelp
What a surprise! We stopped in bc we thought the Italian restaurant was open. Happily, it has a Philippine bakery open at 10am, and Italian food around noon. The current owner Gigi is a jem! So friendly and open to answer any of our questions about the Philippine bread and treats. We settled on the special Mami & siopao for $4.99! A hearty portion of noodle soup w garlic and chicken base. Yum! The siopao is a steamed rice bun (light and fluffy) filled w a sweet shredded pork. For take home we bought the ugoy-ugoy, crisp w sugar on top to eat w coffee later. If you're in the area and love Philippine food, this place is a must. Her baked goods are hard-to-find and so delicious. I hear the Italian food is worth it as well. We may have to come back later tonight for a slice!

Tyrand B.

Yelp
The brisket pao is my go to here and normally it's amazing but they must've had a bad day today because i was very disappointed in my order today and to add insult to injury i purchased one for my coworker after hyping it up only to be let down. The issue was we received about 80% fat to 20% meat ratio.I will however give them another chance because the 1st two times it was excellent and i would give them 5 stars

Tanisha T.

Yelp
The pizza was delicious and piping hot. We had a pepperoni pizza and Hawaiian wings. It was all good!

Laura R.

Yelp
Food is good but costumer service is awful. They close the store whenever they feel like it. And they always run out of food items. Tried to order a steak n cheese with cheese wiz and they said they didn't have cheese wiz, then tried to order their bbq brisket fries and they said they didn't have it available. And also if you make a call to pick up the kids that take your order don't read you back your order to make sure they got everything. Also the cashiers aren't friendly at all and they're all a bunch of kids.

Laina P.

Yelp
Nice service food is average except for some of the Filipino food that they serve there.

Brenda S.

Yelp
Good pizza and price is good too. I stumbled across this place a year ago. I have returned several times. The food is very good and the service is wonderful!

Austin D.

Yelp
The menu is real, but it kinda threw me for a loop. This is a Filipino bakery, very legit. With a pizza joint inside, and a tapioca counter.

Sole W.

Yelp
Food was horrible. Brisket fries were all fat. Vegetable Lumpia was nothing but mashed carrots. And I don't even know what the popcorn chicken was. More like fried fat. The texture of the popcorn chicken was very gummy and it was translucent it almost looked like raw chicken. The boba tea tasted like soap. Would never go back.

Yana V.

Yelp
Ahhhh the pizza is so good!!! Husband and I were super hungry and wanted to find a place that serves pizza by the slice on the way home and luckily drove by Antonio's. We ended up getting a medium cheese pizza and boy were we impressed! Way better than the usual chains! Wish we lived closer, cause we'd be regulars! Yum!

Kevin C.

Yelp
Love the new renovation! A definite go-to! The food, bubble tea, and staff are all great!

M C.

Yelp
I've been coming to this place since I was 4 years old getting a haircut from Fil Am! I'm 29 now and since then it's now become mixed with Filipino food! I've moved to Tennessee and me and my fiancé have had a hard time finding Filipino anything there. We come to MD for family and we stop by familiar places and this has been still the most welcoming place. They warmed our pandesal and was fast with the service because we were driving back to TN. Thank you all!!

Timothy C.

Yelp
I just had the buffalo wings Hawaiian/mild fried hard and both we're good. The Hawaiian wings stand out a must have and the fries are above average also. I had a bbq stick that was a tasty little treat also and it wasn't to expensive so the whole experience was great and I must go back. Until next time yelpers.

Bianca R.

Yelp
I remember trying this place out when I just moved into the area, I did a quick Google search for well-rated pizza shops and this one just so happened to be on my way home. I ordered over the phone for carry-out and stopped in about 15 minutes later. Imagine my surprise when I saw they carried Filipino dishes includling my favorite UBE PAN DE SAL!! I picked up my pizza but also some of their bakery goods. I'm a huge fan of their cheese pizza, it's definitely reasonably priced and their crust, cheese, and sauce are delicious! I've also tried their cheese steak (ok), sausage roll (pretty good), barbeque chicken sticks (hits the spot), lumpia (more wrapper than filling), and crab balls (YES!). I'd like to try their barbeque and siopao next, I definitely love having so many options from one restaurant!

John L.

Yelp
Excellent meat lovers pizza. Put it up against any authentic Italian pizza place. Interesting Italian/Filipino cross. Lots of fresh baked Filipino goodies. Awesome find. My daughter had one of their "teas". Very good. Highly recommend this place

Cathy O.

Yelp
I usually love coming here for their empanadas and lumpia. But 10 mins before closing I try to go inside and literally everyone (the guy in the boba shop and another guy mopping the floor) completely ignore me. And proceed to continue doing their thing. It's not until I start knocking on the window to get their attention is when they finally tell me that they are closed. I didn't say anything other than thank you and goodnight. But what threw me off was that there was someone else that was at the door while I was walking to my car and they opened the door for them without any issues. They left after 30secs to 1 min but it was just odd... idk.
