I love this place and they are so sensitive to my autistic son. It’s always a pleasure coming here, the owner Monica is the nicest human ever! Super affordable and free admission, my sons favorite is the goats!

The 3 and under Easter egg hunt was sad. Literally plastic eggs strewn along a narrow dusty rocky tractor road. Itcwsnt a hunt at all. Just an egg “pick-up”. Kind of an insult to the whole Easter Egg hunt tradition and the parents and kids who participated. I think they could do better! I am a grandmother and I just stood shaking my head in amazement that this was happening. 😟

Great place for families to visit and enjoy the fall time festivities. They have a large petty zoo. The children can ride ponies. You can also buy crafts and also grab a snack. This is a priceless venue for children to have lots of fun. There is no charge to park. There is a small charge for the crafts and rides.

The pumpkin patch was very nicely assembled and the staff was very friendly. It was free to enter and I paid $100 for an all day wristband play pass for 2 kids and adults. It was a nice farm to visit. The wristband included archery, pumpkin decorating, tractor rides, petting zoo, slides, and a maze among other things. The food was reasonably priced at $8 for a cheeseburger. I was just disappointed that all the animals didn't have much space to roam. Especially the rabbits with were in their teeny tiny cages😭...

What a great place for kids to experience a bit of farm life, so close to an urban setting. Monica is great and rescues a lot of her animals, which wins my heart in so many ways. It's a super friendly place, and I am an adult who loves being around animals. Please keep in mind that animals have personalities, and teach your children to treat them with respect and listen to the caretakers. Watch your small children, that's not their job! I only say that because I read some of the reviews and thought it was unfair - these are real animals, and the occasional reaction on their part is normal and should be a teaching experience. I taught my own child the same. Have fun, take lots of pictures, and embrace the quirky and the unpredictable.

I spent the day at Gilchrist Farm with my Granddaughter. Many fun activities for children! A fun Easter Egg Hunt for all ages! A giant slide, horse riding for children. Spring crafting and most importantly, my granddaughter’s favorite, the petting farm. Baby Chicks 🐥Baby Ducks 🦆 and Baby Goats! Definitely a great place to spend the spring day!! 🩷🌷🐇🐖🐑🪿🐾🩷

Really nice place. Not as big as I expected but had a variety of things to do and the kids had such a great time! Loved the slide! Great pony carousel. Fun easter egg hunt! Wonderful animals and hospitality. The peacocks were beautiful! The goat was trying to nibble on my bag, hilarious. Will definitely go back.

Google
my best friend and i love bringing our kids here! the staff is friendly and the animals are well cared for. it is pricey but the kids have a lot of fun.

Yelp
Sooo Friendly & Welcoming to my toddler daughter (3yr old). She loved her experience here with the pony rides. Hailey & Miley made sure she was safe and comfortable. They gave her words of encouragement which was appreciated. The farm was clean and they offered plenty of activities for children. I loved how they were ready and willing to provide the activity for the children (we didn't have to wait for a group to get on the barrel ride)

Yelp
Hot! We came on a Saturday late afternoon around 12pm (closes at 2pm) and the farm empty except for a school field trip. This place gets hot! I wish they had more shades and I can't imagine how bad the heat is during the peak summer. Pros: staff are friendly (Farmer Sonny was a real treat), animals look healthy and there is stuff to do to keep the kids busy. Cons: no shade, a bit pricey ($50) to do most of the activities there. I would walk around to see what your kids want to do and maybe just pay for those activities. Overall, a good place to take your kids for the afternoon.

Yelp
I can not say enough good things about this place. My kid LOVES this place. Your children will truly be delighted. The people who work here a kind, thoughtful, and so down to earth. I wish this place had a membership so I can take my kids here on a regular basis. We attended breakfast with santa event and did the pony ride, wagon ride, petting the goats, and walked around the stables and looked at the horses. I love supporting local businesses and this place brought pure joy and laughter to my child and hence, us.

Yelp
Our favorite local farm. It's definitely our favorite because it's close to home and not too crowded. The pumpkin patch is small but you get the feel of the fall season and pictures come out so lovely. The staff is friendly and kind. Make sure to wear outdoor clothes/hiking attire. You will be walking on dirt and farm land. Enjoy the farm!

Yelp
We went here for a field trip with my kids homeschool program which we've done for the last 3 years. Every time we go, my kids have an awesome time. There are so many cool things to do there. They've got cute little animals, archery, a giant slide, tractor rides, horseback riding, crafts and more. We always rent the whole place out, so the kids run around freely. It's how childhood should be, just free flowing with animals and nature. Such a lovely time was had for us, aa usual. There's plenty of parking (well there was for our purposes.) The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely check it out if you get a chance.

Yelp
OMGosh! I love this place. It's a playground for kids as well as adults. There are pumpkins everywhere of all sizes. They charge one dollar a pound per pumpkin. They charge $1.50 lb. For yellow and decorative looking ones. They have bales of hay set up all over and picture frames to take pictures all over the place where the pumpkins are. On week ends they have a multitude of activities to do. They have face painting and pumpkin painting. They also have archery. You can find a maze there to walk through. Also they have a gigantic slide and of course hay rides. You'll be able to ride a pony as well or feed the animals in the petting zoo. We also saw a panning for gold area as well. This place feels like the country and really is so much fun for the kids. The sound of little children laughing is the greatest sound you can hear and that's what you hear the whole time there I got a really big pumpkin for $18.00 and come Halloween we'll have fun decorating it. We had so much fun there that I keep looking at all the pictures we took. Pre schools take their classes there and children sing songs together. It isn't anything like Disneyland but it's almost as much fun. It's the real outdoors and kids learn about animals there. They even are taught how to milk a goat. This is good clean fun and this is a rare place that teaches them love for animals and nature. I highly recommend taking your children here because you won't regret it. Enjoy

Yelp
We visited Gilchrist farm with a group of homeschoolers and had a wonderful learning experience! The kids learned how to spin sheep wool onto a drop spindle and learned how a spinning wheel works. They also were able to milk a goat and learned the process of making goat cheese. Afterward they had fun on the slide and the maze, and enjoyed spending time with the animals. Monica was super sweet, engaging and fun in her presentation. The animals were all healthy and well-loved, and the farm was well organized. Thank you for such an awesome day!!

Evelia G.

Yelp
Our school had a field trip to this farm and the experience was horrible. It is dirty, smells like manure everywhere you go, and the animals do not look like they are well kept. It seems that the owner is more interested in making money by overbooking school field trips, than actually providing a place where animals are well kept and where the children can enjoy a day at the farm. Do not waste your money going to this farm.

Yelp
We went here yesterday and it's such a treat to have a pumpkin patch locally. It's just a no-frills place. It has all of the basics you need. It's over a dollar a pound for a pumpkin and they have really great quality ones. We paid $10 for the experience of having a three-year-old on a horse that gets two private loops around. The best part is they get to have a helmet that has a cowboy hat built in with it. One of the ladies that work there said that we have to come back at Christmastime!

Yelp
My 17 month old daughter was just violently rammed in the chest by one of the goats at the petting zoo here. It had been following her around and acting strange for a while, and I tried to keep it away from her, but was assured by the attendant that it was very friendly and just wanted to use her as a "scratching post." My daughter was not provoking the goat at all -- not even touching it or interacting with it when this happened. Luckily, she is ok, but it could have been much worse, especially if it had been a goat with longer horns. All I got from the staff were some half hearted "sorries" and a "what do you want me to do about it" from what I believe to be the owner. Extremely dismissive. How about take the violent goat out of the petting area?? There are way too many animals roaming free in the petting area for it to be safe, and the petting area is completely filthy. I would not trust the staff's assessment of any of the animals here.

Yelp
I've been to Gilchrist multiple times over the the years with my kids for classes, the pumpkin patch, purchasing eggs, etc. Today was my first experience on a field trip with my daughter's school. Everything went ok for the most part. However, there was one employee that was extremely rude. I'm so used to this place having pretty friendly employees and the owner is very nice. But this lady was pretty awful. She was running the goat/petting zoo and had a foot brace on. She yelled in my face because I went to open the first gate. So I guess she gave the directions to the kids before heading in to not open the gate; however I was not in the area and did not hear her rules. So when someone was calling for me inside and needed help, I went to go help them. She saw me and comes running up while I was opening the first gate and says 'oh no, you're not supposed to open the gate' and I said 'oh I'm sorry...I didn't realize that' and as I'm saying that she cuts me off and starts clapping in my face yelling 'DO NOT OPEN THE GATE! DO NOT OPEN THE GATE' and I again said 'sorry, I wasn't around when you were giving the rules so I wasn't aware'....she cut me off again and in a very rude condescending tone, like I was a child, said 'YOU PARENTS...NEVER LIKE FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS I SAID TO NOT OPEN THE GATE!'' I was shocked at her tone and manner. I wasn't being rude and apologized right away...but she didn't care. It's not like I was going out of my way to not listen and just do what I wanted. It was an honest mistake. I know these employees have a lot to keep track of and deal with a lot of personalities daily. But rather than start right off with being rude, condescending and yelling...maybe use some kindness and be a little more understanding when someone isn't really giving you a reason to act that way. I feel like this lady is poor representation for this business since I've always dealt with nice employees and I know the owner wouldn't want visitors to be treated this way when it wasn't warranted because it ruins the experience. I'm giving 3 stars because most of the time we enjoy ourselves here...but I feel like this employee needs a lesson in customer service...there's a time and place when that behavior is warranted...today was not that time and place.

Yelp
This farm is privately owned and such nice nice staff!!!! There's one thing that did disappoint me is some of the staff wasn't wearing a mask and made some members of my family a little uncomfortable. During Covid 19, this farm is really great and personable with kids and guest. I truly enjoying bringing my family here, the family that owns this farm is super nice and took the time to explain the farm to us! I truly appreciate everyone!

Bree J.

Yelp
We went to Gilchrist for a recent pumpkin patch visit. Will not be returning in the future. The employees were awful with children. Multiple very strange interactions with different staff members. One employee yelled a multiple kids in the petting zoo with a very inappropriate tone for minor infractions. The farm is dirty and the animals seem sad.

Tara K.

Yelp
Hayden was great with our kids. Great to see some nice hard workers out there! Always a good time at the pumpkin patch

Yelp
Friendly animals and staffs. My four years old had a first time horse riding, she loved it. Little train, tractor riding and many other things to do for all ages. Staffs explained about the animals and showed how to carrying them and touching them too. Very safe and educational place to go with little ones.

Yelp
Can't rave enough about our first time visiting here with our 2 year old. This is going to be our "Go to" place whenever she wants to ride a pony or meet her favorite farm animals. She had a blast and we couldn't stop grinning seeing her so happy. We have been to other farms but this one definitely takes the trophy. There's so much to do and the staff is amazing and so warm!! Special shout out to Sophia, Sonny and Sam. Thank you so much for putting in so much hard work and smilingly helping the kids have such a great time

Yelp
Farmer Sonny is the best! My son and I spend hours there and love it. We love the goats and all of the animals

Yelp
Great family venue. Pigs are cute. Hay rides, local event venue. Holiday harvest festivals.

Jessica W.

Yelp
This could be a cute place if staff and ownership cared for their animals. During our visit we witnessed goats, chickens, ducks, and other animals be thrown and chased, harassed by children. While parents watched and the ONE underaged staff member turned a blind eye. These animals are being abused and I can't imagine the amount of stress and fear they have every single day. If you go here, TEACH YOUR CHILDREN TO RESPECT ANIMALS. Ownership, get some staff that cares. Not kids who can't speak up and old women who are upset to be there.

Yelp
The staff at this farm were so nice. We came for a birthday party. My son is 2 and they were so accommodating and explained before each section the expectations. We will be back!

Yelp
My son loves Gilchrist! He so enjoys the pony rides, getting to pet the animals, and spending time here with his friends. The fall harvest festival was a blast!

Yelp
We absolutely LOVE going to Gilchrist Farm! It is such a fun experience for both kids and adults. We've been going there for many years, and got to take our 1.5 year old son there this weekend. He was amazed getting to ride a pony for the first time, ride on the animal barrel train ride, see goats, horses, bunnies, a peacock and chickens, and going to the pumpkin patch. He loved "riding" the John Deer tractor and seeing a fire truck up close and personal too! There was live music and food too which added to the great atmosphere. We saw older kids having a blast learning how to milk a goat, decorating pumpkins, riding the big slide, doing archery and making candles. It's simple family fun, which makes you miss childhood. Monica, the owner, is such a sweetheart and really takes pride in the beautiful farm she's established. The staff is friendly and helpful. We always have a great experience and love making family memories here! We will definitely be back during Christmastime!

Yelp
We definitely had a great time! there is something for everyone... mini petting zoo, pony or horseback riding, tractor tide, archery, ax throwing, and lots of great pumpkins! Special shout out to Jordan thank you so much for doing the archery with us we had so much fun!!!

Yelp
My husband, 2-year-old and I visited Gilchrist Farm yesterday. I found out about on a local parenting website when looking for pumpkin patches this year...but the best part is that it's a farm! We took our obligatory pumpkin pics, but really had the most fun visiting all of the animals. My son got to pet a 1-week-old baby calf, horses, pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks, and even got to milk a goat! I highly recommend Gilchrist Farm if you're looking for some pumpkin and animal love. They also offer pony rides, wagon rides, archery, and axe throwing (they recommend making a reservation for these activities, including visiting with the farm animals, since it's limited capacity right now). We chose to go on a weekday and earlier in the day in hopes of it being less crowded (which it was). Everyone was being very respectful as far as social distancing and mask wearing. We had so much fun, I'm already thinking about going again.

Yelp
Their October Pumpkin Patch was a lot of fun. Great place for photo ops. We enjoyed the pony rides, pumpkin sling shots, piglet race, tractor ride, maze, food vendors (especially the pie). They also had archery and ax throwing, kids train pully ride, and petting zoo.
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Super cute farm! They let you let goats and bunnies at free roam. My daughter held a bunny for the first time and was soooo happy. The guy handling the petting zoo is extremely personable and kind to the kids and animals. They have a lot of pumpkins and my kids picked the largest one so I told them to put it back because it was $50 and lied to them and said it had a disease called "EXPENSIA" so we couldn't take it home. They picked a cheaper one. Cool spot!!

Yelp
Filthy petting zoo and staff are not COVID cautious. If you go here, be sure to walk away with shoes caked with poop, bites from flies, and less gas in the tank. DETAILS ~~~ None of the Staff are wearing masks. The petting zoo area is filthy, unkempt, and not all of the animals are petting zoo natured. And i'll tell you why... FILTHY AND UNKEMPT The animal pens are COMPLETELY full of feces. There was not a patch that did not have poop in it. Yes, I know animals defecate, however there was no one on staff to ensure that the Petting Zoo - where kids go and run around, and fall - was kept to any standard of clean. (I've been to other petting zoos to be able to compare) NATURE OF THE ANIMALS The petting zoo guard literally said to us "There are 3 chickens that are aggressive". We asked "which ones" And then he pointed at a collection of 7 chickens and said "2 of the brown ones". 6 of them were brown! Why the eff do you have aggressive animals, that could harm my child, in a PETTING ZOO! GENERAL GROUNDS Animal poop EVERYWHERE Biting flies EVERYWHERE My husband noted that if they are unable to even clean the poop that is outside of the animal pens, then we question how well they are caring for the petting zoo animals - which honestly seemed super depressed.

Drew M.

Yelp
Went for the pumpkin patch and stayed for a few activities. My 1 year old daughter loved the pony carousel & the staff was super nice. The line for tickets/pumpkins moved fast, but don't get kettle corn! Took forever. We got sucked into the wagon ride - not worth it, IMO. There were different aged kids and no one seemed particularly thrilled. But overall, it was a pleasant experience with friendly staff, free parking and several activities. It's probably much more fun without all the pumpkin patch picture takers. :)

Yelp
Been to this farm a few times now. My toddler enjoys the tractor ride but that's pretty much it. The goats and ducks/chickens/peacocks was so dirty. I know it's a farm, but the poop was just everywhere. We even saw a dead mouse in the pen with the ducks and the flies was just hovering over it. There was always a horrible stench not just animal poop. It smelled so bad. Maybe it was the dead mouses. I don't think I will be back with my toddler anymore. I really hope they will take care of the animals better. I always feel so bad seeing the peacocks in an small enclosed space.

Katrina L.

Yelp
I went there yesterday most of the people that worked there are nice. I had a upsetting experience because there was a horse with 2 smaller pony's the biggher went used his head wacked into the other one really hard multiple times . It was so upsetting to me i was ready to leave .

Rachel K.

Yelp
We had fun and there were lots of educational opportunities and animals to experience. But they do not prioritize kids safety at children's classes. During the 6 week farm class, twice my 2 year old got too close to one of the farm dogs when I turned away for a moment (I absolutely own up to that being my bad) and it nipped at her, leaving a scratch and bruise on her face, and she was understandably very scared. Another dog also growled at a little boy who stood close to it. All of this is not ok. Dogs who are food aggressive or who need space should not be around little kids. I fully support teaching kids to be respectful of dogs personal space, and still, these were little kids. That's gunna occasionally accidentally happen with toddlers. When I addressed this with the owner Monica, she was polite but dismissive. No apology. Unfortunately we will not be returning due to this apparent lack of concern. Would recommend for older kids and adults, but keep littles away.

Yelp
We recently celebrated my son's birthday party at Gilchrist Farm. We had the most wonderful experience. Monica Gilchrist and her entire staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our party host/ coordinator Mary deserves the biggest shoutout for being professional, attentive to all our needs, and caring to the kids. She radiated positive and joyful energy the entire time. You can tell everyone is passionate about what working at the farm, and that they love being there. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how both adults and kids had the best time exploring all the activities at the farm-- from pony & horse rides, petting zoo, tractor wagon ride, animal farm train, giant slide, a real fire truck, pig races, goat milking, etc. Because my son's birthday is in December, the entire farm is decked out in holiday decor. We even had Santa Claus spend time in our designated picnic area to greet and talk to the kids. The tractor driver named Elf Nacho (Sonny) let us all ride on the wagon around the farm grounds as we all sang Happy Birthday one last time before the farm closed. Thank you for making my son's birthday extra special and so memorable.

Yelp
This is a tough one. First off, the concept of Gilchrist is incredible. The property is massive. There were two girls that were there today to volunteer and they were absolutely wonderful. So sweet and outgoing and knowledgeable. Sam was one of them and I forgot the other girls name. My issues/concerns... The enclosure that autumn, the cow, is in is way way too small and has zero shade. I also did not see any water in there for her. The shade is definitely an issue. It was 99° there today and animals were struggling to find any sort of shade. The water where the ducks are looks like it hasn't been changed in over a year. In the bunny enclosure, all of the water looked dirty. The enclosure where the ponies were had absolutely no shade. I think that if they were to clean up the space and have better maintenance as well as someone whose job is to constantly monitor the animals access to clean water, this place would be absolutely magical. Also, autumn, the cow is all alone and Sam, the girl was telling us how she's lonely and that she feels bad for some of these animals because they don't have shade and what not. In my opinion, large animals should not be contained in such a small area. It was heart breaking so see Autumn in a 10x10 enclosure in direct sunlight without clean water. Gilchrist has incredible potential, I'd just like to see more attention paid to the well-being of the animals.

Yelp
Amazing place to go check out farm animals harvest some pumpkins during the season of October great place to take kids and family. Great walks and enjoy horses, ducks, chickens pigs and much more

Yelp
I am writing this review with my friend, Val. We both went to Gilchrist Farm for the spring and summer camp multiple times (me 3 & him 2) We loved the experience and most of the employees were nice. Especially the people who worked archery like Claire. The food situation is great, even the watered down hot cocoa wasn't even that bad. The slide was very dangerous the first week, it had a nail sticking up and multiple kids had their pants ripped but that's just a fun part of the summer camp experience. At our most recent week we went, we were CITs and when a small child was holding one of the baby bunnies by its neck we told the kid not to because the bunny would get really badly injured, and we got in trouble by the staff as if the kid wasn't about to kill the animal on accident. We got to see two goats giving birth, that was pretty interesting. Aftercare system is perfect for parents who can't pick the kid up at an earlier time or when the kid wants to stay longer, me and my friend had an amazing time and so did the other kids. There was another very kind staff member who we called Ms. Baddie. I can't remember her actual name though, we know it started with a T. Some of the people who work at the horse area can be a little rude, but I think it's just because it smells of feces. The goats were very funny and nice, there was a kid who was being annoying to us and the goats and also said the N word (he is white) and one of the fat goats named Billy rammed him. (please note that the goat is friendly and the kid kept grabbing his little horn nubs, pushing the goat, and hitting it.) There was a baby sheep who kept ramming us, however it didn't really hurt unless he caught you by surprise and hit your knee. It was easy to avoid though. The bunnies are super cute and only one got loose in all the weeks we were there, one of the horses have personal beef with another one and was aggressive while I rode it because the paint was out. One of the horseback trainers had this special knife which she used to help with any rope and stuff, she saved me because I accidently got tied up with a zip tie. The butterflies were really fun to hang out with too. Craft was an okay experience, we liked making the candles and I still have mine. One time they were making lavender candles and they let me do something else because my mom was allergic to lavender. My friend made this cool doll and put my hair in it and it actually worked when he hit the doll's leg. It rained at some point and the stream was full, and it was a great time because staff let us play in it. I got really bad rashes from the nasty water but I didn't mind, we found cool crystals in there too. The farm dogs were friendly and cute, and there was a calico cat named Calico, she would come out once most of the kids had left and sit on my lap, she also sat on my friends lap and another kid or whatever. She was super cute. Thank you so much for this great experience, we wish you the best.

Yelp
Came here with my daugther and wife for their pet zoo and pumpkin patch. Really nice place way better than expected, a little out the way but was worth it. My daugther loved all the animals and specially the horse riding. We definitely coming back

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. I had my daughter's birthday at their facility this past weekend and I was extremely happy with everything. Staff was really friendly, constantly checking if everything was up to our standards. The children had a blast going from activity to activity. Even the adults had fun with the archery and axe throwing. For all it offers, the price can't be beat. Highly recommend.

Yelp
There are not many Farms around to take the little ones to but glad we ran into this one. I was amazed with how many animals we got a chance to see. The boys loved it and Grandpa he loves animals too. We stopped by for the pumpkin patch and got a chance to experience the Pig Races. That was so cute and FUN. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
Went for the Easter Egg hunt last Saturday and overall had a good time with my nephews. We purchased our tickets online ahead of time, and the pricing was more than fair! $5 for each child over the age of 3, and the easter egg hunts were separated by age groups which was nice. I have a 2 year old nephew who had to do the hunt twice because we were the last in the line, and although we were on time, I feel like he couldn't get any eggs because of all the parents grabbing eggs for the kids. My other nephew is 5, and his age group was a little more spaced out so he was able to grab all the eggs he could. PROS: -Clean port-a-potties with hand washing stations -A few food trucks on site in case you get hungry or want ice cream -LOTS of kid-friendly activities, including stuff to do for children 3 and under such as arts and crafts, a wagon ride, a petting zoo, etc. -Easter Bunny was on site taking pictures with families and kids CONS: -Social distancing NOT enforced. It was a little too crowded, but you can distance yourself from all the people there. Masks also weren't enforced, as a lot of people were walking around with their masks off. -Absolutely ZERO cell service. We have T-Mobile & Verizon and neither of us had service. Make sure you don't get separated. -Dirt is everywhere! This one I'd hardly consider a con of the place, considering the word farm is in the name, but make sure you wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. -A little unorganized. I paid ahead of time but nobody checked any of our tickets during the event at all. All of the lines were make shift as well, as people were kind of just lining up wherever they saw fit for the different activities. Overall we had a great time and I will return for more of these events

Yelp
What a beautiful way to spend the day! Our grandson was delighted (as were we) with all the friendly animals and very kind staff that helped us enjoy all the activities. Lots of barnyard critters to pet, pony rides, a tractor and train ride, crafts, and more. Perfect for kids of all ages. The grounds and animal pens were very clean, and the animals looked well cared for. The staff was super friendly and patient with our 2 year old. Its free to walk the grounds , and activities are very reasonably priced. Definitely a must do!

Yelp
Felt a little underwhelmed here honestly. People were polite and nice and all, but the petting zoo animals were all kinda bunched together, it was too much for my 2-3 year olds. The setup is a little blah, the kids enjoyed the wagon ride but the driver literally sped right through it, not worth the $30 we spent for it - unless it was a little longer, or someone explained something - but yeah. All in all, meh.

Yelp
Amazing experience for the family. Very big and if you buy the wristbands you get a free pumpkin to decorate with your little ones!

Yelp
Thanks so much Gilchrist, for backing up Lombardi Ranch when unfortunately they couldn't keep on going! We're thankful to have a place that really makes fall feel right being on a Ranch. This isn't a pop up, overpriced place but a place that doesn't charge for adults to enjoy attractions with there kids like other places out there! Every year you have grown always making it better, and now putting this place on the map. The staff, owners, animals and experiences have been awesome. We spent Thursday their with "Charlie" our pup , and came back on Saturday. We stayed till sunset and didn't want to leave. It's was nice to play in the hay, and milk a goat. See ya soon!! Thanks, The Pelletier Family

Yelp
I loved this farm! It's very accommodating to those of special needs. Will definitely return. I'm sad I didn't know about this place before this year.

Yelp
This place is such a treasure. The pumpkin patch has so so many fun activities for families and it feels like old santa clarita. So nostalgic. And the family that owns the farm and all of the staff members are so sweet and make you feel welcome. I am so happy to have such a special place in our town.

Yelp
My daughters, 2 and 3 years old, take horseback riding lessons here weekly. We drive from Brentwood and it is worth the drive imo. It is the highlight of their week and their favorite activity :) The head instructor Dana is awesome - she's great at helping me schedule their lessons; she's also great at encouraging my daughters while keeping them safe during their lessons. Bonus to the horseback riding lessons - their annual pumpkin patch/harvest festival and year round farm animals!

Yelp
Returning client, very friendly place the first time I visited. Saw there were birthday parties going on. Came to scout again to book for my daughters upcoming birthday. Great Saturday when I arrived it was quiet. Unfortunately, the staff told my daughter to not scare the bunnies as she got excited to see them, I politely explained she's autistic and we can try for her to not get to excited. Instead of that being the end of it a second staff member got involved and I expressed If it was a problem I'd leave , yet they expressed again that she must not shriek of excitement, suppose they want a silent petting zoo. I left and got a refund & was given an apology and that they would give this opportunity for professional development. Honestly what broke my heart was getting my refund my daughter said "I'm sorry mommy" . I still cry just thinking about this experience. I wasn't going to post this review but I have to share my experience

Yelp
Took an ASD child on her birthday and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. The staff was kind and inclusive and birthday girl was over the moon with the activities. We only spent a few hours there and everyone was tuckered out from all the fun. Petting the goats, sheep and pig was a big highlight as was the straw maze. The barrel and wagon rides were wonderful. The pumpkin patch was adorable! If you have an animal loving child, this is a great place for them to see and encounter lots of kind animals who are well looked-after! Great people, joyful place. Thank you for the memories. We will be coming back soon to do and see more.
