Very peaceful location, away from the busy areas of the island (of which there are few). The beach is only a short walk away in any direction.||The staff are incredibly helpful and are quick to offer assistance when needed. ||Pros - modern, clean decor, well maintained. Relaxing pool area, kept very clean. Peaceful location away from the noise. Attentive staff.||Cons - we had to ask fresh towels, they are not given. I would expect fresh towels at least once in a 4 nights stay. The beach towels are perfectly adequate, but the bath room towels are more like a thin blanket than a towel and would leave grit on your skin.

Very nice and conveniently located hotel. The staff goes above and beyond to help you, for cleanliness and for the breakfast which is quite generous with enough variety for the price range. It's a great comfortable place to stay on the island. You really can't go wrong for the price (considering you pay a premium to be on an island). Having said that, you need to have realistic expectations. You are on an island that isn't very developed. Cars aren't even allowed here and they have horses carrying supplies. This means that the island (not just the hotel) will sometimes lose power and you might find gekos in your shower (which I think is kind of cute). Embrace the experience for what it is and leave your expectations of a 5 star all inclusive resort at the door.

Such a beautiful Tranquil place to stay. We had 2 amazing nights at Escape and it was fantastic. The rooms are absolutely stunning and the bathrooms incredible with an outside shower looking up at the sky. A gorgeous pool surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. The staff couldn't do enough for us got us bikes to use around the beautiful island. Breakfast was was beautiful to look at at and even more delicious!! It's like a couples paradise would highly recommend and definitely return.

Spacious rooms, comfy beds and good value for money. For those that struggle with heat the swimming pool on your doorstep sorts you out. The main highlight was the service provided by Sapar and the rest of his crew. Really friendly guys, greeted you with a smile and asked how your day was. Also sorted out all the things we needed such as snorkelling tours, carriages, tickets etc. Big respect to Sapar and the crew 😎

A nice new place with great friendly helpful staff - thank you Wolf & Tohri for your hospitality.|Very Clean bungalows with covered outdoor bathrooms and a nice big clean pool with pool chairs & umbrellas in a central position for all day sun. Our room had a queen bed and extra loft bed to cover 3 adults and breakfast was covered in our room rate. |The place has pushbike hire for $5 AUD or 50K IDR per day which is the best way to get around the island.|There are only 6 bungalow’s on the site so the place is quite private & located close to beaches and restaurants. We would stay here again.

Cannot recommend enough! The rooms and location were amazing but the staff were what really made it incredible! So friendly and helpful, they always went the extra mile, even keeping the kitchen open one morning to make us breakfast after we came back from one of the snorkelling tours they recommended and set up. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere quite and clean with the friendliest staff Loved our stay here, 100% coming back!!!

Fabulous boutique island accomodation. My sister and I stayed in a bungalow with a loft so effectively had our own rooms. The semi-out door bathroom was fabulous, especially showering during a tropical storm! The beds were we're really comfy. The staff were absolutely delightful and so helpful. We hired bikes and they arranged a personal snorkeling trip. We experienced some of the best snorkeling we've ever had and my sister lives near Cairns and swims off the barrier reef. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and so fresh and healthy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Gili Air and would highly recommend this accomodation.

A lovely setting with great staff, close to the beach. The breakfast was lovely. No children which is a bonus for a couple. The staff organised bikes for us, which are really helpful for getting around the island on. There are lots of restaurants close o the villas. Not far to go for a sunrise on one side of the island, or sunset on the other side.
