These NFL Cities Have Unbeatable Food

"In New England, Patriots fans can rely on plenty of local breweries, family-friendly pizza, and international fare around Gillette Stadium and Boston South Station before or after games." - Ashley Day

Where to Eat Near the New England Patriots' Stadium

"Fans go to Gillette for the football, not the food — despite a recent stadium renovation that improved the rest of the fan experience, the concessions are generally forgettable. If you must eat during a game, seek out Italian sausage and peppers or a cheesesteak to go with a can of coveted Massachusetts beer like Tree House Brewing Company’s Julius IPA." - Adam H. Callaghan

Gillette was super clean, from the parking area to the bathrooms! There were people in "EVENT" shirts it seemed every 20ft in case you needed direction or assistance of any kind. So many food choices, definitely something for everyone, chicken and fries or pizza, hot dogs, sausages or BBQ. Candy, drinks and sports memorabilia also. Everything was priced fairly but they do not take cash. They have "cash to card" machines (no fee) for people like myself that did not know this lol There are also so many stores to shop at and restaurants. Before and during the games, they have great raffles you just scan the jumbotron for. There really isn't a bad seat in the house.

Great place! Gillette Stadium is a great place to catch a game or concert. The views from the seats are solid, the sound system is powerful, and the crowd makes every event feel bigger than life. Whether it’s a Pats game or a show the atmosphere is great. Beyond the action, the stadium itself is well-kept and easy to navigate. The food options are solid, and Patriot Place next door has plenty of spots to eat or hang out before and after. One of the coolest features is the new lighthouse making the venue stand out in a way that feels unique in Ne. If you ever get the chance to go, it’s absolutely worth it.

Google
We go to a lot of stadiums and this is one of the nicest and most modern looking ones. Also features a very unique location with anything you could want around it! Tons of food options, shopping, movie theater, bowling, hall of fame museum, and more. That alone makes it very unique as most stadiums are kind of off by themselves. You could literally spend the day here, or a few.

Go Bills! Bills fan and hope they take some ideas from here. Building a new stadium and would love something like this. As a sports fan and Bills fan I enjoyed the visit. Went up tower and walked around. Very nice.

Google
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to get around Gillette Stadium, despite a sold out concert crowd. Parking and entrance was easy, as was getting food, drinks, and using the restroom. The staff was attentive and helpful when needed.

Google
I had club seats for the recent George Strait concert, the seats were amazing. Definitely worth the few extra dollars for the benefit of padded seats, nice restrooms, great food. You can also stand inside in the air conditioning if you get hot or it rains

Google
The restaurants looked cool. Get there early if you intend to eat before events. Getting out of parking is crazy! 45min. Wait times. Nice that there is free parking lots. $14.00 tall boys guess to be expected nowadays. Very nice stadium.

Literally the VERY BEST concert I have ever been to in my life. Of course... I've only been to like.. 4 concerts ever so.. but WOW!! I've never seen anything like it. We paid for an $85 parking pass so we could park right up close in the VIP parking and boy am I glad I did THAT!! VERY much suggested!! I will say that we bought floor seats right near the stage. When the first act came out, someone named... Playboi Cardi (I had no frickin CLUE who that was lmao), and the base started, e fuck, I was like "idk if I can handle this", Like literally rattling my organs hahahaa!! I was very grateful that I bought ear plugs 😂🤣 Anyways, someone had TAKEN OUR seats on that row. We were supposed to be Section A1 Row 23 Seats 24, 25, 26. Our seats were taken and the seats on the end of the row were empty so we just decided to sit there. Well about 20 minutes into the show The owners of THOSE seats showed up. They were like you're in our seats I said I apologize those people are in MY seats. Rightfully so, they grabbed security and tried to tell security "hey these people are in our seats because those people are in THEIR seats". Well instead of security making the people that were in OUR seats move, the guy brought me to the back of the section and was like, "I can move you over there (points to literally RIGHT next to the speakers and yes closest to the stage but the furthest from where the act would be)", then he sees my walking sticks (I'm crippled and walk with a limp), and he goes, " make that TWO options, I can put you over there (where he originally pointed) or I can put you over here (brings us to a high-rise for all the crippled people lol That's literally 20-30ft from the stage AND puts us ABOVE everyone on the floor so we had a far superior view!!). I chose the latter. It was INCREDIBLE. We now were not crowded at all, like, we literally had room to breathe, dance, etc there were like four or five seats for us three, so plenty of room and THEN some because we still had at least a foot or two all around us to move around!! PLUS, we had the very BEST view AND had the handicapped porta potty about 5ft from us. I guess there are some times where being crippled comes in handy even if it does ruin the REST of your life 🫤🤷🏽‍♀️ Anyways, I did think it was kind of strange that they didn't kick the people that stole our seats out of our seats but I guess it all worked out because I was very pleased with our "new" seating. 😆

Yelp
One word. EPIC. Maybe I'm a little biased, but Gillette Stadium is amazing. Home of the New England Patriots. Do I need to say more? Honestly, Parking is great food options are great. There's not a bad seat in the house. There's so much to do in around the area. Bob Kraft really outdid himself.

Yelp
This review is only for the Magic of Lights display that runs during the Holiday season. I give it a solid 3 star, so so rating. You can pack the kids into the family vehicle, go see the light displays (which are nice) and that's about it. There not much more to it. The display is set up in a parking lot area across from the stadium. You need to access it from Rt 2 south. The route is marked with cones and caution tape. It will take you about 15 minutes. You can't get out of your car to take any pictures. That would be dangerous. There is a channel to tune in on your radio to hear some Christmas carols. It helps to drown out the constant rumbling of the generators needed to run the lights. Young children will think it's great. Have fun!

Yelp
Went to my first Pars game here yesterday and had a super fun time! We did tailgate before the game which was fun. The stadium is huge and both the bathrooms and all areas are clean. Prices are crazy expensive for food and drinks but this is expected for a large arena. The only thing that sucks is leaving after the game. It took us another 2 hours just to leave the venue cause of the traffic. There has to be a better way! Other than that amazing!

Yelp
Here today! Took a ride to Gillette Stadium to see where the Patriots home field advantage takes place. Niiiiice, because it has a movie theater attached, a MALL and restaurants all on the same property WOW! I just loooove my occupation, I get to see the World for free as well as some of the best sites each state has to offer! Here today! Where tomorrow!

Yelp
Came up to Gillette Stadium for the Army-Navy game in December and we had a great time. Second time at an Army-Navy game and the weather cooperated as well. We found the parking here pretty easy and the area for tailgating gave us plenty of space. The walk from the tailgate to the game wasn't bad either. Wifey and I walked around the stadium (inside) a couple times and there didn't seem to be a bad place to watch the game. My one complaint about the stadium was the food. Very uninspired and boring. I got a sausage sandwich that just wasn't worth the price. Lukewarm and bland on a roll that wasn't great. Overall a pretty nice stadium, a great game, but pretty boring food options.

Yelp
No food, just the game. Atmosphere was great as always. Just wished the Patriots had won.

Yelp
Very big , very clean and the new football season starts soon . What more can you ask for. The food in Patriot Place I have to say is super expensive though . They have a huge parking lot , so parking is not an issue .

Yelp
The parking situation is unbearable. It's amazing to me that anyone still goes to concerts or football games. There's gotta be a better way.

Yelp
Out of all the NFL stadiums I've visited, this might have been the nicest one! Granted, I haven't made all of them by far (I'm no Tom Grossi...!), but I really enjoyed the overall experience there. Getting to the stadium was actually a breeze, because we used the commuter train that left from South Station in Boston. No driving, no parking fees, no traffic. It was great! The area surrounding the stadium was kind of sparse... swamp land, it looked like. But, they have a huge new complex next door, including a theater, bowling alley, and restaurants. We didn't make use of these, though, since we had a half hour from game end to get to the train. But, if you're hanging out in the area, it seems like a great way to spend time after the game instead of fighting traffic. The stadium itself is really nice. Entry was quick and simple. The area looked either fairly new or recently refurbished. Either way, it is a far cry from some of the older looking venues I've been to. It was a hike up to the 300s, but that was expected. The view was fine, though, even in the end zone corner. What was really nice, though, was the availability of food and beverage up in that deck. Granted, we were a little early (about an hour by the time we made it up there), but still practically zero lines. Half-time was a completely different matter! The line to the restroom was insane! Speaking of concessions, I will also admit that the prices were WAY better than other places! The souvenir cups, for instance, were $9 filled, and they were of a much higher quality than I'm used to! Jumbo brats were also under 10 bucks, pretzels were 6 or so... I know it's always more expensive at the stadium, but comparatively? These were better. Getting back was okay. The train situation was confused and problematic, to the point that we ended up standing most of the trek back (at least until the first stop). After a long game, it wasn't ideal, but whatever, my team won. ;) Overall, it was a great experience, and I was glad we chose Gillette as our away game road trip. I got called a "Leafer" by a Pats fan (much deserved, I will admit!), which also made the experience even better! It's a solid venue for sporting events, and I would definitely go back there again.

Yelp
My husband's company hosted their 50th anniversary party in February in the Lighthouse Room at Gillette. The spacious accommodations, strategically laid out tables and bar areas, and the food tables made for easy traffic flow within the room which is no small feat considering we had a crowd of approximately a thousand guests. We were able to do the Lighthouse tour which was awesome!

Yelp
I am not a big concert or sports person (in fact, being in a massive crowd gives me the heebie-jeebies, where I'm constantly trying to find the nearest exit and envisioning scenarios of being trampled to death) so going to Gillette has never been in my wheelhouse. But then we got tickets for Metallica and I couldn't pass up a chance to see them possibly perform the Unforgiven live so off we went. The biggest issue for sure with Gillette is the parking situation, both in and out of the stadium. There is only one road for thousands of people, which is the best engineering idea since someone decided to build the rotary of death by Newton/Watertown. Parking falls into three buckets: 1) free general parking at the stadium; 2) prepaid parking at the stadium; and 3) offsite parking along Route 1 (cheers to the entrepreneurial businesses and homes nearby selling parking spots for less than the stadium). Do not do #1 - unless you're ok sleeping in your car or tailgating afterwards. You will more than pay for the time spent sitting there with everyone else trying to leave at the same time. #2 seems okay depending on which lot you pick and whether it's in the same direction as your way back home. We opted for #3, which meant walking in the rain and by the shoulder of Route 1 for about half an hour both ways but at least we were home by a sensible hour and the worst traffic was getting onto I-95. Be aware of the bag restrictions before you come - they lay out on their website you can bring a clear plastic bag or a small wristlet, or else you can either dump it or bring it back to your car. Signage was an issue. We were trying to figure out how to get to the Club level and we ended up basically walking all the way in before the snake pit area before someone pointed us the right way. I'd say Club level is worth it if you go on a day like we did where it was thunder storming right up to when the concert started - it's indoors, with restrooms, seats, and concession stands. Speaking of the latter, the food was slightly better than I expected, which I guess is a super low bar to meet. For a soft drink, veggies/hummus, and two sandwiches, it came out to less than $50 (so in other words, you will pay an arm and a leg for food). The sandwiches were good but my stomach started feeling a little off later on. It was a total zoo after the concert was over and people were scrambling for their cars. Crowd control was at a minimum. Felt like the beginning stages of a zombie apocalypse where everyone's just smashing into each other. PS depending on the artist or event, this isn't a particularly kid-friendly environment. For the Metallica concert, there was a lot of public intoxication where I thought we were one wrong look or snide comment from a fistfight. The couple next to us were drunkenly head banging and getting high and ... there was a little boy sitting right in front of them. Lots of guys with that dead thousand yard look in their eyes that can only mean blackout drunk. And please be careful walking around in the parking areas afterwards - the combo of heavy drinking and rushing home seems rife for a bad accident.

Yelp
delightful place. monument to a dynasty & hopefully dynasties to come. the stadium itself is impressive and beautiful, and the attached amenities - shopping, dining, even a hospital, are exceptional. very enjoyable visit and looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
My first time coming to Gillette Stadium was for Ed Sheeran's Mathematics Tour. There were 71,000 people in attendance for this show. I was thankful that MBTA offers train service for select Gillette Stadium events. This is a great way to avoid traffic and parking. For this concert, round trip train tickets to Foxboro are $20. They offer trains leaving from South Station in Boston and Providence Station in Rhode Island. We arrived at Foxboro Station, which is a short walk to Gillette Stadium. We arrived with plenty of time to use the restrooms and walk around. After the show, trains depart Foxboro 30 minutes after the concert ends. Make sure you know which direction the train is going to ensure you are on the right one. There were a lot of people exiting the stadium so it was a little slow to get out, but once you're out there was definitely more space. My seats were Sec 217, Row 18. It was easy to locate section and row and seats. Gillette Stadium is a really nice venue and plenty of choices for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and food. Bathrooms were conveniently located. I had the chicken tenders basket that came with fries and purchased a water bottle. It was good. I can't wait for my next concert in this venue!

Yelp
Nice stadium. We went for a concert and found it to be an easy stadium to walk around. (Although traffic is horrendous!) Having Patriot Place attached is great, giving you plenty to do before the game or concert.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the standout features is the seating arrangement. No matter where you are seated, you'll have a great view of the action. The stadium is designed to provide excellent sightlines and comfortable seating for all in attendance. The food options were pretty good as well. The customer service was average at best.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here to see Ed in July. It was great. Stadium staff and parking are all very organized. Food options are meh but it's a stadium. Views are preset food even at the poor people levels. I'm sure it's great here when the Pats play.

Yelp
We just attended the Revolution Soccer game against Inter Miami. We had a terrific experience, but this post is about our field security guard for the isle stairs. This Gentleman was a stellar employee. He was professional, helpful, and made our game night terrific!!! I wish I would have asked his name so I could refer to him properly. He definitely deserves recognition!

Yelp
TB12 retirement night! Easy into parking lots. Parking staff helpful. Inside clean and bar area friendly and quick service. Always a good time when attending a Pats game or concert. Solid food options for restaurants also. Big fan!

Yelp
Came for a soccer game. I know, soccer is not a very popular sport in the U.S., but 'football' is huge in the rest of the world, and we, along with friends, took in a Revolutions game. Buying tickets on line is easy. Ticket prices are expensive, and then they add fees, because, you know, convenience. Anyway, stand in line and show your digital tickets to the employee at the gate. Once inside, you cannot leave and return, so be sure you have everything you may need: sunglasses, jacket, money, whatever. Water, beer and food are available for an outlandish fee. Think airport, plus some. Between the tickets and items purchased during the game, we spent as much as we would have if we'd gone away for the weekend. Was it fun? Sure. Did we enjoy ourselves? Sure. Would I do it again? No. I enjoy 'experiential' activities, while at the same time I enjoy feeling like my money has been well spent and in this case, although I'm glad we had this experience, all in all, the experience is not equal to the price. Although some of the food kiosks were closed, there were still several open offering popcorn, soda, fried dough, hotdogs, chicken, fries, etc. Two locations had coffee available, one at the end (far right in our case) had DD's coffee available. The ladies room was quite large, and staff were keeping it clean, so that was nice. Seating is typical stadium seating. The area there was clean of debris and not sticky when we arrived. There are cup holds. Parking for our event was at the front of Patriots Place, nearest route 1. Entry is at the back of the stadium, near the pro-shop. It's a lot of walking, including stairs, to get into the stadium. Getting out, they divert you into the mall area and there are no signs pointing the way so several folks went to 'dead ends' and had to turn back. So exit, is not 'reversing' your entry route. Walk through the mall area, out the front, cross the street, and locate your vehicle. Then vie for position in the multiple lines that form in the parking area, onto the mall road out of the parking area, and then, only be allowed to turn in one direction. If you need to go the other way, find a side road or travel down to the highway interchange, and back track.

Yelp
Never been in the stadium before, but a few months ago, I attended a Luke Combs concert. For a stadium that's supposed to hold alot of people, I was shocked that the screen was so small compared to it. Also, the sound does not travel to the top well. You're probably better off eating at a nearby restaurant and jamming to it that way. The price of food and drinks were expectedly expensive and stadium booths appear to close very early (probably before 9pm). We had to seek safety due to the on/off thunderstorm and rain, then noticed other concert goers looking for more alcohol. I'm not impressed, but it's a learned experience.
google avatar

Ed B.

Yelp
Gillette Stadium is a nice place to watch a football game or see a big concert. It's well designed and clean and was just renovated. Concessions are pretty standard (lots of food and drink choices) and as with most big stadiums, grossly overpriced. Lots of big parking lots at and around the stadium along route 1. Getting out can be a nightmare - hours of waiting if you end up in the wrong spot. Bring extra food and drinks for after the game or show - just in case.
google avatar

Miranda S.

Yelp
Beer is pricey but merch was reasonably priced. We went to a Revolution Game in the rain and ponchos were $10. Tickets also appropriately priced. Good food/drink selection. Fun time (in warmer weather)

Yelp
I went to my first Gillette Taylor Swift show for the eras tour in May 2023 and it was a dream! I got nosebleeds for the first night and ended up standing on a lower level for the whole show. This was my 4th Eras show, so I sort of knew what to expect. The staff was nice and because I did not need assistance, I did not interact with them much. I am surprised by how cheap the drinks and food was there relative to other stadiums I've been to. Very affordable for a big stadium event. Instead of an escalator, they have ramps doing up the entire stadium. They are steep and long and hard to navigate up and down repeatedly. Expect to walk A LOT. It was actually extremely frustrating and inaccessible. The other big con is their location. Who builds a stadium in the middle of nowhere with only one major road connecting it and its closest city? It took forever to get just out of Foxborough, let alone all the way to Boston, where I and many of the attendees were staying However, I had such a good experience night 1 with Taylor and 70,000 of her fans though, I ended up getting tickets to see the show again on night 2. I bought nosebleed, obstructive view seats. I knew they were lax from the night before about letting people stand where ever, so I ended up standing in the center of the lower level. I had an BEAUTIFUL view of the staff from the center. At this show it poured down rain and was another "iconic rain show" and the energy was amazing, even from the staff. I don't know if they were volunteers or regular stadium stadium, but the employees around us were singing and dancing and having an amazing time, too.
google avatar

Jose V.

Yelp
My wife and I came to see pink in concert. Worst venue I've ever been to. Parking is a complete bleep show. They sold tickets in area 115 knowing that they would be behind the stage and when people went to their seats they found the area closed and now there's a line a people at guest services waiting to be moved to a different area. Meanwhile the opening act Sheryl Crow took the stage while we wait for seats.
google avatar

KJ O.

Yelp
Dear god do your self a favor and plan for at least an extra hour for traffic. It's one way in, one way out. Gillette Stadium is absolutely massive, the parking is huge, there's basically a super nice strip mall surrounding it, the stadium is the biggest one I've been in. The food is about average, but it's very overpriced. I got a very luke warm burger and fries. The fries were very underwhelming. I need to give the staff kudos, they have crowd control down to a tee and guided 80,000 people in and out of the stadium in record time.
google avatar

Test A.

Yelp
Everything here is pretty great, but don't bother with any of the cops during big events. There was an officer standing right out front of red Robin during the Metallica concert, I asked him if I could just sit down in the shade and get out of the 95° weather, and this guy starts verbally assaulting me, saying that it's not his job to help people. Clearly the police around here do not care about you, or your safety. Because it's apparently not their job to help people. Later, I also saw him berating families and the elderly. That cop is a fucking joke.
google avatar

James S.

Yelp
This review is based off of the Dead & Co. concert; probably 35K people. This was the easiest stadium to enter, maneuver and exit that I've ever visited. Jerry Jones and the Cowboys should take a lesson here. Parking was easy. Security and ticket scan simple considering the amount of people. There's plenty of food options, restrooms and the seats comfortable for a stadium. We sat in Sec. 133 Row 34, the last row of the lower level. This turned out to be great because there was rain but while others scrambled for shelter we were under the overhang of the 200s. If I somehow how ever return here for a game or concert, I'll be seeking out the 100s rows 33 or 34.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
Had to visit my team at their home. I couldn't imagine there being a bad seat in the stadium. I enjoyed the variety of food and beverages offerings. The sausage and peppers was a hit.
google avatar

Stephanie H.

Yelp
Attended a concert during tropical storm Ophelia. We were soaked but Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks were great. They worked hard throughout the concert to work with their teams to get sound checks in to allow all audiences member to enjoy the show. The stadium was well laid out Plenty of space and locations for food drink, restrooms and merch. We were in the nosebleed area and the acoustics were not that great, the reverberations made it difficult almost uncomfortable to hear well. Probably the lowers you go the better it sounds, but this chick is not a millionaire and sadly can't afford those seats.
google avatar

Yelp
A wicked nice venue. The house that Tom Brady built. Incredible, when you think about the history of a football gridiron. First game I attended was in '02, September, Pats vs KC and it was a shootout that Brady won. Fast forward to '06 NE over Jax 28-3 in the playoffs. Forest to '11 Central Michigan over Umass Beerhurst. Fast forward to '22 Grafton high school getting spanked by Deluxbury. Oh well, you cannot win every game! Wonderful venue. Designed exceptionally well. Excellent parking. Wonderful staff. State Police Troopers should smoke a bit more. Go Pats!! 6x Super Bowls!!
google avatar

Tiffani J.

Yelp
Admission into the stadium was one of the easiest I've ever been through, a super efficient process. I would not have minded a slightly longer security screening if it meant more safety. But, I guess they have a process that works. Restrooms were surprisingly clean for that volume of people--super impressed. Concessions was easy to get to, but they could have had more of a variety of food and beverages available.
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
Security has improved and the parking situation is also better managed than it was. Definitely recommend doing the prepay lot for concerts cause you don't get stuck in the long line. Price of games is still outrageous but still a great experience!
google avatar

Chad S.

Yelp
Luke combs and Gillette were an absolute joke last night. Where to begin first with Luke to not reschedule or offer a refund after his opening acts performed horribly for 3 hours and then to come on just to walk off because of the rain and then cancel after just 7 songs was a joke. As for Gillette itself well getting in was a complete mess no organization took us about 20 minutes to move 10 feet while getting pushed out of the way by several drunk fans right in front of security. Puke was left in piles throughout the stadium and multiple fights happened which really ruins the experiences. Nobody was cutting off the alcohol to those who were clearly obliterated in public so there was lots of that. I've been to plenty of events at Gillette with this being the first concert and this was by far the WORST experience I've ever had

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Don't park in P9 - you will be held hostage, against your will as they will not let you leave the lot until 2 hrs after the event. Worst, never pay to park here.
google avatar

Marc T.

Yelp
Was here for a concert, which was great, but the stadium has little directional signage when inside, the staff didn't know much information, traffic was a nightmare to leave. Literally sat for an hour and a half without moving an inch....literally...didn't move an inch. There was no traffic control and a massive number of cars just sat for nearly two hours with no movement whatsoever. They had plenty of people to pack you in, but hardly any to get you out. Left to our own devices and wasted hours of time.

Yelp
Great stadium but usually very cold during football season. There are so Many restaurants and stores for shopping in this complex as well as a movie theatre. Parking available for shopping and dining even on game day.

Yelp
What a fantastic experience at the Gillette! We went to watch the Inter Miami vs. New England Revolution match and the place was packed. Inter Miami had a star studded line up including Messi, Suarez, and Busquets and won the game. Not without a strong fight from Revolution though! Revolution scored a goal within the first minute and the first twenty minutes of the game were particularly gripping. The stadium had an insane amount of energy and majority of the spectators were participating in the ongoing rounds of waves. Revolution fans had turned up in massive numbers with Revolution merchandise and paraphernalia and were cheering without a pause. That said, there were plenty of folks in pink Messi jerseys despite it being the opposing team's home stadium. We got the nachos and a cheese pizza to eat along with canned double IPA. Food was in line with our expectations for stadium food. There were really long queues for food despite the several outlets (on an average, there was 1 pizza/dog joint every 2-3 sections) and mind you, all shutters were open. The line was for the bathroom was relatively short and fast moving across various points before/during/after the game. We were on the first floor seventh row and the seats were amazing! We felt we were practically on the ground and didn't need binoculars. The ball came up near us once and we good a darn good look at all players. We also walked up to the second and third floors to check the view from those seats and overall, you get a clear unobstructed view from almost every seat. We got free parking near the stadium (some unsolicited advice on parking: keep driving right till the end near the stadium as there is plenty of free parking there. The hotels/lots 0.3-0.5 miles away from the stadium market cheap parking aggressively, giving the illusion that stadium parking will be expensive, when in reality is likely free always. One bummer though: it took us about an hour to get out of the parking lot due to traffic and really aggressive/in rush drivers. Overall, 100 percent recommend. Please plan your commute / car pool accordingly

Yelp
I am not a patriots fan at all. I must say that before I do my review. I have hated the patriots for many years now because I'm a huge Steelers fan. That being said we stopped in Foxborough to see the patriots stadium it is a beautiful stadium I must say it has a lot of fun things to do it's got a lot of restaurants in a lot of things around it it's very clean it's pretty it's well taken care of I'm a say this is one of the coolest NFL stadiums that I have seen and I've been to quite a few

Yelp
First time at Gillette and it was for a concert. Sorry but not a Pats fan, but not holding that against the beautiful venue. The location is outside of Boston around 25 miles in Foxborough. Traffic commuting I hear is a bear. I stayed at a new property that was only 2.5 miles and could even be walked. The exterior of Gillette is full of shopping and even a movie theater. I ubered in so no experience with parking, however the uber experience was poor. They do not allow you to be dropped off inside. The stadium has several entry points and since our concert tickets to Luke Bryan was on ground level I was in PP. Not the venues fault but the opening of the gate was delayed by 45 minutes and it was raining. Once in I moved to the pit with my daughter. She was able to secure a spot against the stage and was so excited to be so close. A special treat of three opening acts. Cole Swindell, John Langston and Brett Young. Luke Bryan played a fabulous show at 9 PM. Special guest was NE Patriot now retired Gronk. The crowd of mainly locals went nuts. The rain stopped at the beginning of the first act, even the sun appeared. It was a beautiful and cool temp evening. It was a fun show and good time with my daughter. Security was tight and of course there's always going to be drunk jerks to deal with. How cool would it be to see a football game here. Maybe the Pats and Fins.

Yelp
Could very well be the worst venue to hold a concert. The cheap seats are enough to give anyone vertigo. The sound system was horrible. Went and saw GOAT Garth Brooks and we actually left super early. The sound system had a speaker that was giving off a horrible echo, we couldn't even hear him when he was talking. And don't forget traffic getting in- took us 1.5 hours to go 4 miles, then $60 for parking. Even Garth was over an hour late to his own show. Also likely got stuck in traffic. Oh and disgusting brown water throughout all the bathroom toilets. Never, ever again. This place is what nightmares are made of. Lesson learned.

Yelp
Even if you hate the Patriots, Tom Brady, and Bill Belichick, visiting this stadium to watch the Pats crush an unwitting opponent is definitely something that should be on your bucket list. The atmosphere is simply electric. Though people try and act like there is some dispute about it, Brady and Belichick are the best to ever play the game, and at a minimum, are the best of this generation. If you have the chance to see them in action don't miss it. Of course, making the pilgrimage here is a no-brainer if you are a Pats fan! Let me be the one to tell you that if you are on the fence, go for it. You can see, and feel, the team's complete and total mastery of the game of football just by looking around. The stadium is beautiful, every seat in the house is awesome, and the concessions are actually really good. There are many different choices and styles of food, from bratwurst to the standard hot dogs, to healthy choices like salads. There are also numerous different beers on tap including a few great IPAs. Just outside of the stadium, there is an outdoor mall, with several different kinds of restaurants and sports bars, including things like Buffalo Wild Wings. There are also several stores that sell Patriots merchandise. It is true that the stadium is far from Boston and seems like it is in the middle of nowhere. Traffic can be bad getting to the game and even worse getting out. They do have the Patriots train which can be a lot of fun although it takes a long time. I would suggest looking into that if you would like the complete experience. Sometimes famous people or even players like the kicker are on the train. I'm looking forward to my next trip!

Yelp
This stadium thankfully is nowhere near the city of Boston. I had a personal experience where i was assaulted, arrested and then had charges dropped against me all within 12 hours. Did i go to Patriot Prison? Oh i did! Did the guy who assaulted me plead guilty? oh he did! Did I write numerous times to ownership, management et al? Oh i did. Did they ever reply? Oh they didn't EVER... Just goes to show you how they view anyone who was wronged. Easily had a case for a false arrest, judge actually side barred my attorney and offered guidance. I am a father of 2 and when you allow rent a cops to give false statements and then arrest people you have a real issue. Im available anytime Bob or Bob Jr, this was all during a concert of which i walked to females to the bathroom to be safe and imagine how scared they were when they couldn't find me when they came out. It happened that quickly. Disgusting

Yelp
WOW! What an experience to finally see a Patriot's game in the famous Gillette Stadium!! I have grown up a Patriots fan, with my family being from Massachusetts and huge fans as well. While my boyfriend and I were visiting Boston, we just knew that we had to witness the Tom Brady in person. We waited up until about a few hours till kickoff to buy our tickets on a third party website. The prices were a little steep, but we lucked out with getting reasonable ones on the upper level right in the center on the Patriot's side. Everyone around us was super friendly and really interested in the game! (There's nothing worse than having bad fans.) Overall, our seats were perfect and we were lucky enough to see Brady run his 1,000th career yard as a quarterback! What a game! The Patriots won of course and we had such a gray experience! The stadium is HUGE and the energy is HIGH! I would definitely recommend seeing a game at some point in your life.

Yelp
I was hoping that I might be able to land with Gillette as one of my round number reviews but here we are at 9495. We were here for the exhibition game, Washington Redskins at New England Patriots. We arrived ready to tailgate at around 3:30pm and managed to get a good space in Zone 3. The lots got some occasional security patrols, I think to keep an eye out for people with open flames that are not permitted. They were also handing out clear plastic bags as opaque bags are not permitted in the stadium. We knew that it was time to clean up and head over when the train arrived. Security moved very quickly (clear bags, anyone?) with a magnetometer and wanding for anyone who beeped. Tickets were then checked and we were in. Lots to see on the ground floor, lots of concessions on the second floor and a whole lot of walking to get to the 300 level where my seats were. Seats? Surprisingly comfortable in section 330, row 4. A decent amount of hip room, way better than the ones at Fenway Park. Unobstructed view and huge screens at both ends of the stadium for the replays and other engagement stuff. As for the game, it went smoothly. The kids who got to play during halftime were great. The cheerleaders were fun to watch. And the ball play was good, if very slow with way longer breaks than usual.

Yelp
I go to NFL stadiums all over the country for business and was really impressed with Gillette stadium. You see this place on tv all the time, but don't really get to appreciate this palace unless you are there. Our meeting was at the Putnam Club and wow was it nice. The staff was very helpful and easy to interact with. We then were able to take a behind the scenes tour (minus the patriots locker room). Again it was a great facility and a fun tour. I a man not sure that the general public can do it, but I would recommend.

Yelp
Lifelong Washington Redskins fan here. Gillette really lives up to its 1980s company moniker, being "the best a man can get." Its refreshing to see a sports franchise owned by the Kraft family provide a fan-friendly venue for Patriots, Revolution, and numerous concerts that extend to fans and customers throughout all of New England, as well as the tri-state area. Getting here can be slightly tricky, like anywhere else. The route off of the interstate is a two-lane, which kinda sucks on game day/concert day. Strongly recommend to leave at least an hour earlier than usual just to make it into the parking lot. I'm uncertain if there is a station that the T accommodates, yet it is recommended to take (if it exists) should you prefer not to tailgate. Having said that, the stadium venue is state of the art. WiFi is actually quite good, plenty of pyrotechnics, and just an overall electric atmosphere altogether. If arriving here for Patriots training camp like I did, you'll notice that the training facility is adjacent to the ballpark, and a part of Patriot Place (a complex of shopping, restaurants, hotels, and other fan-friendly interactive venues). I'm so glad that Gillette Stadium was built to replace the beloved Foxboro Stadium. This is a great place to visit at any time of year, even during the winter months where there is snow. Just don't tell that to an Oakland Raiders fan. Lol.

Yelp
This was my second time here and we had an absolute blast. We arrived around 4pm for the night game where Tampa Tom made his first foray back to New England. We ended up connecting with some folks a couple days prior and tailgating with them until about an hour before game time. Definitely give yourself time to get into the stadium. We paid out the nose but ended up with great seats in the 100 level of the endzone. There was a huge area behind us with a bunch of concessions. We had some drinks, brats, and a bag of popcorn. Even with the rain and the missed field goal at the last second to lose the game, we still had such an amazing night. One thing I will say is that if you're taking the Patriot train back to Boston, make sure to pay attention to where you exit. We just followed the crowds and ended up on the wrong side of the stadium. There was no way out of the sea of people and going backwards was no option. I drunkenly hopped a fence and ran 3/4 of a mile back around to make the train in time.
