This spot was mediocre at best, but their service, attention, and respect for customers is truly lacking. I went there for St Patrick's Day lunch on March 16, 2024. My wife and I had drinks and food, which was ok. The problem was I left a generous cash tip, but somehow with the payment machine, my credit card added a tip to the bill, so essentially paid about $47 in total tip for a $117. bill. I left messages for the owner 2x, with no call back for a refund. Then I reached him, explained the situation, and he said he was sorry and would take care of it. That was 3 months ago and still no credit for the tip. I was so happy with his response when I reached him, even though I left 2 messages and he didn't call me back, that I took my sister and spouse, as well as my wife back for dinner to celebrate new car purchases for both couples. The food was fine, service was great, but I noticed on my bill after the fact that there was a "hospitality fee" of 3% ON THE TOTAL CHECK to help the owner with restaurant expenses. I guess I did not notice it previously when I double tipped the waitress. I have since called and spoken to the hostess, Isabeli, and a server, Josh, who both assured me that Brendan, the owner, would call me back - that was 3 phone calls, several weeks ago, and still nothing. I dine out often and thought the place was decent, but I will NEVER RETURN to dine here and will let everyone I know and they can tell others not to patronize this restaurant - as the owner is so very anti-customer and ungrateful. With the cost of dining out, go somewhere where you will be treated like a paying customer and be respected for your integrity and honesty. Not only did I lose about $25. in over-tipping, but I paid a 3% hospitality fee on 2 checks that did not serve me in anyway possible. The place is not cheap , either, so to pay a service charge on top of menu and drink prices, tax, and gratuity, is SO WRONG in so many ways.......!
