Gill's Cookery

We recently had the most wonderful experience with Gill,who hosted a baking-themed birthday party for my daughter.It was nothing short of spectacular! The kids (Girls and Boys )had an absolute blast and couldn’t stop talking about the fun they had with all the baking activities. Every child left with big smiles, proudly showing off their delicious creations. Not only was the experience fun, but Gill also made everything feel personal and welcoming. Parents were also raving about how much their kids enjoyed the day. Thank you so much, Gill for creating such wonderful memories for the kids and hosting a party that exceeded all expectations. You truly are a star, and we can’t wait to come back for more of your fantastic baking parties!

My boys loved Gill's cookery classes which had to be done on zoom in Jan/Feb and over half term. She held 40 min sessions after school (sending us the ingredients for a particular recipe a week in advance) and then she had a variety of 40 min classes during half term . The boys really enjoyed making focaccia bread (which the whole family then had with veggie burgers for dinner), savoury quiche, and of course the chelsea buns and cupcakes. Most amazingly they made minestrone which they actually ate - never seen so many vegetables go into them in one go! They are looking forward to Gill's cookery over Easter

My daughter has done several cooking courses with Gill and she's also had her birthday party there. She has absolutely loved all her sessions, as did the other children at the party. Gill gets through an enormous amount of cooking in a short space of time, while also making it fun - and all in a cosy home environment. I'm also surprised by how much independence Gill lets the children have - even aged four, my daughter was cracking eggs into a bowl and sieving flour/beating butter and sugar. Well done Gill!

My daughter took few cookery lessons from Gill and she just really enjoyed the experience she had. Gill is so inspirational and kind, my daughter had great time in her beautiful kitchen. She will definitely have classes with her again.

Our daughter had the most amazing joint 7th birthday party with Gill. All of the 22 party girls had a fantastic time, thoroughly enjoyed the cooking and eating the delicious food at the end. Gill is wonderful. The kids loved her. She is extremely well organised and incredibly patient. Also it was the easiest birthday party ever as we did not have to do anything. I would also recommend her holiday cooking classes. My daughters can't wait to return.

Gills cookery birthday parties are absolutely brilliant. My daughter has gone back two years in a row for hers and all her friends love it too. Gill is very kind and professional and the children not only learn to cook, they also enjoy eating what they have made, and bring some home. Most importantly they have lots of fun! Gill was legendary today for our daughter's 8th birthday! She entertained 20 7-8 year old boys and girls for three hours and each and every one of them had the most fantastic time! Wonderful food and recipes in a delightful home. Gill has the patience of a saint and it was the best party I have ever done - I didn't even need to make (in my case buy) a birthday cake! We will be doing many, many more parties and camps with her! What a fabulous experience! She's a top dog and a legend!

Gillian is a great and very well organised chef. I have decided to place our daughter 7th birthday party at Gill’s cooking lesson. We have 16 children come over to Gill’s house, the children had a great and fantastic time together making the bread, pizza, cake, rice cake and ice cream. It’s definitely a very wise and good choice for children party and gets them involved. Well done Gill on getting 16 bunnies under control and listen to you, yet have a great and fun time learning together how to bake! I enjoyed pretty much on taking photos on their sweet moments and seeing all the happy bunnies smiley faces.
