The production of your coffee – from roast to brew – is what’s important for the folks at this Ithacan coffee roaster (although, many of us breathe a sigh of relief to know we can find Gimme! In Manhattan and Brooklyn as well.) And its why, undoubtedly, they were named Roaster of the Year in 2013. You can find Gimme! Locations scattered around Ithaca – or other establishments serving Gimme! but our personal favorite spot is located on Cayuga Street, by the creek, and a perfect spot to sit, with your cappuccino for as long as you dare. Gimme is the best you can get in ITH - an institution that almost completely replaced Starbucks. If you lucky you will get a decent barrister... Beans are medium to dark roast - don't expect anything special - it is good enough.

This coffee shop ENCOURAGES customers to be more environmentally responsible by giving people discount when they bring their own mugs! So far, this is a very rare and precious practice in Ithaca, and I highly recommend people to go buy coffee at Gimme to support this practice (and its coffee is great 👍

Great great coffee! Always great coffee! My only gripe is it is over priced. If you are into coffee that is great but has a backstory like "War and Peace" and your paying for that coffee's backstory then this is the place for you!

Good coffee, they have options of dark and medium roast that are pretty good. They also have good pastries. It would have been nice if they have a larger selection of coffees, like pour over. Also it would have been nice if they had a selection of hot foods to offer.

I'm not a coffee person, but their baked goods are yummy. My favorite is the orange cinnamon roll. It's like a croissant and a cinnamon roll had a baby of epic yum. I'm charged inconsistent prices tho when ordering a 12oz glass of skim milk.

Fantastic coffee roasters with a great shop. My favorite grind is called leftist and I usually have them pull me an Americano. UNCLE GERRY’S TIP: Bring a pound home, and use a french press to make some top-notch coffee and always grind your own right before brewing.
