Pretty good KBBQ. Currently, due to Covid19, they only offer walk-ins, no reservations.
Customer service: 2.5/5
Our daughter was sleeping in my husband's arms and I asked for a booth. We ended up with a regular table. I get it, it's almost rush hour, at 6:45PM so save the booths for larger party. Husband had to hold our daughter the entire time we dine until she woke up. I'm not sure how many booths they have at the restaurant, but there's at least 3 booths with no customers, but they were not cleaned yet. We were willing to wait for a table while they clean, yet we got a regular table.
Service was alright: 2.5/5
Server didn't seem too interested in serving us, other staffs were nicer to us. Not sure if we were suppose to ask for a grill change, but we had the same grill the entire time. It's a 2-hour all you can eat KBBQ. One staff asked us if we needed a grill change when we were both completely full. The grill was completely black. It's literally our first time at this location and she didn't pay much attention to us.
Food: 4/5
The one thing we appreciate was it tasted pretty good. We didn't order much, compared to what we generally would have at any AYCE KBBQ. We're a fan of plain pork belly and plain brisket. We do like their marinated meats. One thing that I tried which I never get at any KBBQ was baby octopus. Tried it and already knew this is why I never get it at any KBBQ. Not worth it. The cheese corn was pretty good. My daughter loves it. The corn is sweet and the portion size is great, 2 aluminum trays each time we order. The jap chae tasted okay, we make jap chae at home, so we didn't care so much for it. We didn't order the spicy chicken wing, since it's spicy. I don't like super spicy food.
Atmosphere: 3.5/5
The interior design is pretty, but a bit distracting. The blue light makes it hard to tell if the meat is fully cooked. They play American songs and that's one thing I'm not used to when having KBBQ. I would have prefer KPOP. Not sure if they change music on certain days, but we went on a Saturday.
Parking: 4/5
They have their own parking lot with lots of spaces. But you have to drive over an elevated curb. Be careful if you have a low front car.
TLDR: good food, average customer service, good parking lot, pretty interior, no KPOP
