Gina Maria's Pizzeria

Gina Maria's is a great little place! My first trip there. I was needing pasta and they had lasagna on the menu! It was great! Really tasty and plentiful. I actually divided it and had a 2nd meal from it the next day.

I really wanted to like this place. It was clean and smelled delicious when we walked in. They have some outdoor seating (which we love for the pups), a large bar counter with seating and a few large TVs (w/sports). The food had good flavor but the dough was not cooked all the way through and was still raw on our medium 3-topping pizza. The soda was also very flat. We probably wouldn't go out of our way to try this place again, but they seemed pretty busy and have been around for over 3 decades... So maybe it just wasn't a good meal for us.

The pizza 🍕 was delicious 😋 The staff friendly and good service 👌 I will return to this fine pizzeria!

I’m a longtime customer of Gina Maria’s my family loves their food. I had called and place an order for pick up I repeated myself three times please make the pizza crispy on the end and cheese only I went there to pick up my pizza and salad. I asked for a ranch for my salad cause the small ranch did not cover all the salad. She’s like it’s $.50 extra I returned the I said no thank you you guys are charging me $12 for a salad that I have to throw away because the rest there’s no more ranch left to fill up the salad so I canceled the salad and I returned it right there. I took the pizza it wasn’t crispy. I said this is not crispy. I ordered it well done and crispy. They put it back in the oven and have to wait another 10 minutes there I went home. I took a look at the pizza. My kids were starving And the cheese is half of the slices. This is very ridiculous. I mean, what kind of service do you guys want and what kind of customer service do they handle over there? I don’t know, but I have pictures here and it’s very disturbing. I have our way there’s a lot of pizza places here place and I can go to but we love Gina Maria’s I mean Sometimes you know what you guys are very negative stars and it’s sad. It’s sad to lose a customer over this, but I just wanted you to know if your manager the owner of how this Gina Maria’s Pizza was today very very bad and the service is very bad.

Tried this place for Valentine's Day 2025 because my daughter really wanted a heart shaped pizza. LOVED IT. Garlic knots are a must. Wings were pretty darn good although they gave me jerk instead of buffalo (vday rush probably). Crust is delicious. Not too thin with thick edges... Tastes like fresh dough too. Generous on toppings. We will be back. The delivery was an hour late but I'm assuming it was due to VDay and the heart shaped pizza. A large Pizza, wings and garlic knots ran us $50. If you choose delivery, they add another $5 so I hope that goes to pay the driver because I incorporated the $5 surcharge as part of my tip and only tipped $5 on top of the surcharge. I would definitely pay for it again. YUM. Update- I got very sick from eating the wings. I figured it was dark meat with a pink twinge but they were actually slightly undercooked and I paid for it for the next 24 hours. I'll definitely call and let them know.... Very good food and with the vday rush, I know things happen but yeah .. very unfortunate

This is the last time I will be ordering food from this establishment. Constantly forgetting items in my order, food is now horrible and when I drive down there to pick up food that I had paid to have delivered the employees are abhor-redly negligent, incompetent, stingy on items I explicitly paid for like ranch and blue cheese, and after everything I immediately had to throw up out of my butt because the pizza fell apart through my body like Temu clothes. People usually blame this horrible type of thing on the current administration in our country but my thinking is this place is just horrible, lazy, negligent and can’t discern basic shapes and colors. Prayers to the next potential customers that decides to further interact with these individuals.

Wow. Incredible experience. Besides the delicious made from scratch dough and fresh ingredients, the service from new owners Robert and Erica was nothing short of exceptional. This local pizza joint has been the fabric of Placentia for 30 years! I was very impressed by the new owners and their level of service and genuine care for the product and service they deliver. If your last experience here was sub par you will be letting yourself down if you don’t give them another chance to prove to you their exceptional recipes. They have even partnered with local breweries to offer an exquisite IPA. The men’s restroom was very clean during my visit which should be a reflection of how clean their kitchen is as well. A much deserved 5 star review from a local guide on Google who is passionate about providing accurate reviews to support good business and small businesses that deserve it.

Pizza is amazing! Ordered my favorite, sausage and onion, pepperoni and onion. A slice of pizza heaven in every bite! Order the thin crust and start with one of their salads. You won't be disappointed!

Been here a couple times now, decent pizza spot if you are looking to get away from the big names. The pizza is decent, although looking at some of the reviews and photos here, I would say I may have missed out on their better nights. Their meatball sub was a complete let down for me. It seemed like it was rushed when being put together, the meatballs had no flavor, and it just didn't satisfy. The price was steep. The staff is always friendly. I can tell they get a lot of regulars, but they make sure to take care of the fresh faces too. They don't skip a beat on the quality of service to their customers.

I really hate to have to write this review. We have been going to Gina Maria's for years!!!! So I really wanted to like our dinner, but our recent experience was disappointing. We placed an order, picked it up, and drove all the way home--only to find out they gave us the wrong food. Mistakes happen, sure, but what really bothered us was how it was handled. We had to drive all the way back to get the correct order, they even checked our receipt even though we brought the wrong sandwich with us. Really!!! And not once did anyone apologize. No "sorry for the inconvenience,"not even a hint of concern. It felt like they didn't care at all, that they gave us the wrong food, as if it was no big deal that we wasted our time and gas. A little empathy goes a long way in customer service, especially when your restaurant was empty! We weren't expecting a grand gesture, but some acknowledgment would've made a huge difference. Sadly, this experience left a bad taste--literally and figuratively.

Recently tried the veggie pizza (delicious but too many olives) and the meatballs (absolutely amazing, will be a staple now when I go!)

Sometimes I think all it takes for a pizzeria to be great in my eyes is to offere roasted garlic or garlic cloves as options for toppings. So many of their pizza brethren skimp out and used minced garlic or jarlic. I mean--it's alright, but nothing beats the exhilaration and near ecstasy when a heap of roasted garlic gloves is just piled atop a well-crafted pie. That's what Gina Maria's does finely. My pie was amazingly tasty and satisfying. Every bite brought more garlic than I knew what to do with and every chew reinforced that the ratio of crust to sauce to cheese was impeccable beneath the invasion of garlic. It was like a party of tastes in my mouth and garlic was the host. Also, the staff couldn't have been nicer. Everyone was just so damn friendly. You couldn't have found servers more on the ball and present in every exchange of dialogue. I like the spot too. It had ample table space without being too loud. It had lots of televisions for sports--like watching Kentucky trounce their opponent in the first round of March Madness. And it even had many booths for those of us who hate eating at the bar or at a table. I love this place. I love this food. I love garlic, especially the way they do it here.

Decided to try a different place for pizza.. WOW..the meat lovers pizza with extra meatballs.. garlic oil instead of garlic..and extra crispy crust made this pizza one of the best I have ever had in quite awhile. Not to say the other ones in the past were good. But the Gina pizza.. mage my mouth salavate as soon as I opened three box. Door dash delivery was fast..I'll have go to the pizza place next time

Get the regular crust pizza it will be able to hold the most toppings. Service is fast and friendly I have only gotten takeout though. Ambiance is what I am looking for in a pizza place no gimmicks. I would go back to try their meatballs.

My order was incorrect but putting that to the side, food was good. I would suggest ordering extra sauce and extra cheese (personal preference). Also, I ordered a head of time and it was coming out hot when I got there so kudos on that. I will try again to see if I can get the order correct with the extras added to see if I am correct.

I've been here a few times now. The pizza is great, but I wish the toppings are more spread out rather than bunched up in the center. A little more care would make this place a five star.

Ordered delivery and always enjoyed their pizza but there were two hairs in the salad that was pretty obvious as soon as I opened the box. Yuk!

Gina Maria's has been around for a while and I can't believe I've not come in before! Located in a strip mall off of Placentia & Yorba Linda Bl, it's easy to spot and easy to get to. The inside offers booth or table seating. Standard decor, but we're here for the food, right?! First off, we were warmly greeted as we came in and could sit wherever we wanted. There was only one gal serving, but she was friendly, helpful in answering questions, and super efficient at checking on us. My friend and I shared a large meatball sandwich and an antipasto salad. Both were fantastic, especially the salad. The sandwich hit the spot and the salad ~ wow ~ definitely crave-worthy! Never before have I wanted to come back to a restaurant for a salad until now!! Even sharing, there was still plenty leftover for us to take home. Looking forward to coming back because the whole experience was that enjoyable. I'll definitely be ordering the antipasto salad again and want to try either the calzone or a pizza next time.

This is the type of restaurant when you aren't in the mood for Italian food, it completely changes your mind afterwards and makes you go "wow... that was really delicious." I recommend the simplicity of the dinner salad over the antipasto salad. The half and half pizza is great for those indecisive - both the canadian bacon pineapple & pepperoni mushroom sides were tasty. Their lasagna is homemade goodness. Love this place!

Food is always good & fresh. This trip we ordered their antipasto salad, a meatball sandwich and their fantastic garlic knots. I personally don't believe you could find any better in all of Orange Country. Service is always excellent. It's a family ran small business

Quite possibly the best pizza in Orange County. If you're looking for fresh ingredients, amazing pizza sauce and an epic experience visit Gina Marie's. The service was Phenomenal Mid afternoon on a Thursday. Yahira was very knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond to make recommendations, check in and provide a smile every time she greeted a customer. Will definitely be back back. Must tries: works pizza, garlic knots and antipasto salad.

This is the second time I've ordered from this place and the pizza is excellent! I've had the hawaiian pizza both times and its been very consistent. The staff is attentive and provided exceptional service.

Need to update my review based on my second visit for lunch. This time, I ordered meatball on my lunch pizza (I specifically ordered the lunch pizza) and a beer. The meatball topping was nowhere near as good as the sausage. The texture and flavor was wrong and it was too salty. It had no detectable meat flavor so I assume they don't make their own. Sad if true. But what really bothered me was the check. I didn't get the 25% off. I told the very polite waiter about it and he said they don't have a 25% off lunch pizza special. I said I got it a couple weeks ago. He said he has never heard of it and they don't have it. I said I kept a picture of the receipt. He said they used to have a BOGO but "have never had a 25% off lunch special". I said I'll show you on your own Yelp page and proceeded to pull it up. I showed him and he removed 25% from the price of my pizza but what a hassle. And he was so sure of himself until I proved him wrong. Other, less stubborn customers would have just paid it and never returned. So that's what happens and could be why the dining room is still empty at lunch. This only has to happen a few times a week before people abandon a business completely. Training is so important and keeping employees aware of all promotions so that customers don't feel like they have to prove anything to take advantage of them is part of it.

We went here in a Monday night and it was not busy but also not packed. The service was definitely on the slow side. It took a while to receive our food. The portion sizes were a good balance to price. The taste however was just mediocre. I was expecting the pasta to be more saucy, but it was not. The time it took to get our food was ridiculous. Refills on drinks and water was super slow as well and apart from coming to cleanup our plates, we didn't get much coverage as to how our food was tasting or if we could get anything else. Overall I totally understand it being a mom and pop place, but our experience was just okay.

We stopped at Gina Marias today and it was delicious. My first time here, and we ordered a pizza of several different large pizzas from Pepperoni to Sausage. The Barbecue Chicken flavors are delicious too. We ordered for a table of 7. Pizza was good, and we all had a good time. They have good garlic bread and garlic knots too.

Gina Maria's is one of the better locally owned pizza spots in the area- credit to Yelp for helping me find this spot! After a couple visits here- I would recommend any of the standard pizza with well done crust (by default the crust is a bit soft/chewy) and the garlic knots are a must have. Throw in an extra side of marinara too- it's quite delicious and very garlicky. This place saved the day during our recent Super Bowl party and most of the guests enjoyed the XL pizza and knots. Friendly service over the phone as well!

Food amazing! Service is always excellent! We enjoy coming here with my family, We been coming here for couple years now and nothing has change everything always taste amazing! My four Year old loves coming here for her chicken Alfredo pasta:)

Great pizza great service overall wonderful food we go there often.. TV is available to watch football really a nice family atmosphere

A neighbor and I came here to have some beer and pizza before going to a concert. We were greeted by several people upon entering and were immediately seated in a booth. We ordered a medium The Works pizza and a few bottles of beer. About 15 minutes later the pizza came out and they actually apologized that the pizza was a little overcooked and offered to make us a new one. It looked good to us as-is and we dug in. It tasted great and the medium size was more than enough for two people. We didn't need much service but everybody was very friendly.

Absolutely loved it! After passing countless times I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. The pizza was so fresh and the dough was cooked to perfection. The workers all seemed to be high school students but attended each and every table constantly and paid attention to detail. Despite it being busy they'd check on every table more than once. They are great workers and for that reason I would love to come back again. Our table of 4 had a large pizza and a bowl of Fettuccine Alfredo which was more than enough for us to get full. This is perfect for a casual date night with family, friends, or your partner.

Solid pizza! I was craving a good, non-chain, restaurant pizza in Placentia and this place appeared on Yelp (I usually get Tony's but it's way too much pizza for one person). It's off Placentia ave. and Macadamia ln. which I've easily passed by and never noticed the little strip mall it's in, so keep an eye out. I ordered a personal pizza via their website and it was ready by the time it said it would be ready. The to-go orders are on the north side of the restaurant. It was a solid pizza with a great crust. I'd definitely recommend the personal pizza for lunch as it's not as big as a medium, but definitely more than enough for one person and they are very generous with their toppings.

Wow!!! This is a complete order of garlic knots??? This is the smallest order of garlic knots I have ever gotten from here! Ridiculous!!!!

The Pizza is outstanding . I try and stop at least once a month weather it be for pizza or a meatball sandwich. Always good Service is always friendly and fast. Seems like they would be allot busier than expected. But I'm always early so I beat the madness TV has football so that's a big Plus

Delicious the pizza is Skbiti and the garlic knots are sigmmma sigmmma boys also the meatball sub is drippy like I like my cheese drippy bruh very sigma restaurant I give it 5 out of 5 BOOOM!

Good food...the sausage on the pizza had a strange texture to it, almost like gyros..the antipasto salad had nice size pieces of meat.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent! This place is great for a date or family time. I'm sad I forgot to take pics of our pizzas! The staff was amazing and continued to check on us throughout dinner. We don't live nearby but we'll be back. That tells a lot!

Our regular pizza place was closed for Memorial Day so we gave this place a try. Did not disappoint. Our tastes are simple. Large extra cheese pizza. Cheese was plentiful and almost reached the edges. Crust was chewy and flavorful. Will try it again.

We had a unique situation. We had a lunch mob and only one waitress. She was amazing and patient from us all. All separate checks and with a smile! Definitely going back and supporting their parlor.

Usually you either get really good food or really good service. This past Sunday we got both at Gina Maries's. The pizza and antipasto salad was so good and the most amazing customer service at Gina Marie's. We had a large party 30people for girls softball team and the restaurant did an amazing job accommodating us. Our server Tara was so patient and so kind and friendly. I wish I lived closer so this could be our go to place for great pizza. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and they take care in what they are serving.

Came here an hour before closing and they still accommodated our group and didn't rush us at all, the service is top notch and all the workers are so kind! The pizza here was delicious and had a fresh taste to it, my favorite out of the 5 pizzas we ordered was "the works!" All of the toppings were chunky and they did not cheap out on the quantity! They have a bar with 3 TV screens showing games, bathrooms are clean which is a plus for me when I visit new places. Nice local pizza shop, if you're in the area, don't settle with Pizza Hut or Dominos, grab a box of pizza here!

I was so looking forward to Gina Maria's after the positive reviews on Yelp! But we were so disappointed with the quality of food.. we tried The Works (ham, pepperoni, green peppers, onions and the Antipasto Salad (mortadella, cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms, and dressing in the side. Both menu items were comparable to takeout pizza from a pizza chain.... The Antipasto was lacking in presentation and overall quality of ingredients, the add ins (especially the mushrooms and tomatoes were served in a way similar to what you'd get at a salad bar, the dressing was okay but again very similar to that I've gotten from a pizza chain in their salads, it was almost identical to Krafts Zesty Italian (is it??) Also the menu does not say the Antipasto has olives and our salad was COVERED in them... please add this to your menu. The pizza was the real let down, the dough was flavorless and pretty thick for the thin layer of sauce and toppings that accompanied it. The sauce was very bland, which makes you rely on your topping choices which were not if any decent quality. I know this restaurant has been around for years and I'm sure they've developed their regular customers, but as a first timer looking for a new delicious go to pizza spot, this was not it for me..

Gina Maria's Pizzeria - Placentia 8/10 -- Review: solid pizza, solid meatball sub sandwich. nothing crazy but just solidness. i think there's nothing mind blowing. i honestly eat other pizzas over this but still like its good. my dad likes this place so i guess i must like it as well! Gina Maria is nothing spectacular, but its pizza.

I had been wanting to give Gina Maria's a try for quite some time given the rave reviews on Yelp so finally decided to give it a go. I think I may have had too high of expectations though. We ordered a Large pizza ($17) with chicken and bell peppers as our toppings (additional $1.75 each) bringing our pizza total to $20.50 and I was excited to dig in. The pizza was good and not oily at all, but nothing out of the ordinary. The crust is quite doughy so if you're not a fan of bready/doughy crusts, this may not be the place for you. As a carb lover, I didn't mind the doughy-ness of the crust and actually enjoyed it. I just wish I had some marinara or garlic sauce to dip into though! Topping portions were pretty generous - I enjoyed the tender bell pepper slices and the chicken was good, just a bit on the dry side. I think I'll want to try their sausage or house made meatballs next time! We called in for takeout and it was ready in about 20 minutes. Service was also friendly which was great.

The best pizza in Placentia! This is my go-to place. I usually order ahead of time or through Uber. I called and requested pepper and ranch for my Uber order. They were more than happy to accommodate my requests. Thanks, Gina Maria's Pizzeria! . You are excellent pizza makers!

Great mom and mom place. Dine in area fills up quickly, but they do a healthy amount in take out orders.

Pizza was pretty good. Crispy and good amount of toppings. Not a 5 star za, but def deserves 4.

First time ordering online. Ordered our usual, medium pepperoni and a small antipasto salad. Very disappointed. Arrived at designated time. Once home, found the pizza was not warm, and there seemed to be less mozzarella on it. My wife ate 1.5 slices and threw the last half out. Very underwhelmed. Last time ordering online. By the look on my wife's face, might be our last time at Gina Maria's, period.

I live 300 miles away and surprised my daughter with delivery dinner for her and her friends. I ordered this by calling in. They answered quickly and were professional. I told them I am ordering this as a surprise and want a special message written inside the box. And they did that! Even added a couple of smiley faces. Talk about sending love through food - I really appreciated this. The kids said the cheese pizza was gooood Devoured by 3 College students within 30 min. Sorry for no pictures. Next time I will make sure we get one Thank YOU for not only the pizza- but the personal message you wrote in the box as a surprise. That made this Mom very happy. I will be ordering again from them.

Decided to try this place since it was a night before Christmas eve and all the other Italian restaurants had long waits. We ordered a thin crust large Italian pizza (lol no pepperoni) got sausage, mushrooms and anchovies. A side salad, let me tell you everything was fresh, delicious Pizza. The servers could of been a bit more attentive. But YES we'll be back :) :) :)

The PIZZA IS DELICIOUS. Our family doesn't go anywhere else for a delicious bite to eat. Or go to order: garlic knots, meat lovers pizza and wings. The staff are so incredibly nice. Our waitress- Jenna was patient with us as we kept ordering sodas and ranch. Oh goodness the ranch is sooo good. Thanks so much
