London’s New Restaurant Openings - London - The Infatuation

"Chef, author, and television presenter Ravneet Gill has opened a Chingford restaurant with her husband. The neighbourhood spot will serve a mix of European dishes, and it’s the comforting pasta and chocolate brownie we’ve got our eyes on." - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

Gina Restaurant - Review - Chingford - London - The Infatuation

"Gina is a Chingford restaurant from chef, author, and television presenter Ravneet Gill and her husband. The neighbourhood spot serves a mix of European dishes, including a comforting-sounding spaghetti, and chocolate brownie for dessert. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Sinéad Cranna

I have been looking forward to visiting Gina restaurant a long time now. The food was flawless - especially the pasta/ the roasties and the chocolate cake. I wasn’t a huge fan of the orange yoghurt cake but that was just personal preference and having eaten the best part of 3 other puddings I think I just didn’t have enough space left! Service and general vibe was outstanding. The kids loved it too. The pecan pie was probably the best I have ever had. Ravi’s chocolate cake was also a must have- top tier!

I visited this restaurant with a friend and we had a fantastic evening from start to finish. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The food truly stands out from other places in the neighbourhood, every dish we tried was exceptional. You can really taste the creativity and care that went into crafting the menu, with diverse, unique, and beautifully balanced flavors across the starters, mains, and desserts. A wonderful dining experience all around, highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

Gina is an experience. A chop house that blends traditional and modern. Exemplary service given the fact that they opened recently, fantastic decor with a rustic appeal and a splash of post modern art - the lamps with a woven  appeal , subtlety is the key. The food is just delicious. They use great produce. We tried beef, lamb and the hake, beetroot, pepers. The quality of the produce/ ingredients is top notch and with nuanced flavours showcasing the real star of each dish. This calls for real merit and the art of slow cooking. The ultimate finale is the selection of desserts which is perfect for the palate . It is not heavy but the chocolate cake is an absolute decadence. Try the cherry martini. Good pairing of wines as well. The very courteous team offered me a muscat on the house , and it was fantastic. Everyone who lives in London or visit London need to visit Gina. I travel across the globe and I can say Gina is already creating memories that is sure to last and to be cherished .

We had a great night at Gina’s. Cocktails to start were delicious and strong. Starters were divine we had the octopus and the Piedmontese peppers. I have to say the starter portions were measly. Gone in 2 bites! Now for the main, we had the sirloin which was cooked to perfection and absolutely moreish. Unfortunately we were sat in the middle aisle which meant my poor husband who’s quite broad got bumped on the shoulder by staff about 10 times, not what you want when you’re paying over £200 for a meal. The waste paper bins in the toilet were overflowing too. Simple fix would be bigger more durable hand paper towels and a bigger bin. Another small gripe, the table was very small and we struggled to keep our drinks and the food all on the table! I think Gina’s is fabulous and the food, service and atmosphere were great. For it to be that expensive in an area like Chingford, they need to fine tune the details to command that sort of price. Would return.

A wonderful meal at Gina celebrating our anniversary. The staff, particularly Millie, were attentive, warm and friendly from the very moment we stepped into the restaurant. I’m pleased to say the food matched the high level of service too! The meal from start to finish was delicious and clearly cooked with love and care. The bread, steak, Gina’s pasta and sides (chips and greens) were heavenly and SO flavourful. The puddings are a review in themselves - flawless. The cobbler and Ravi’s chocolate cake were the best puddings we’ve ever eaten, truly sensational. A beautiful, memorable meal at Gina. We will be back! Thank you Rav, Mattie, Millie and the team!

I was really looking forward to trying Gina and wasn't disappointed, the starters were delicious (beetroot and stuffed pepper with the bread) and we had lamb chops for main which were perfectly cooked along with the crispy chips and then the dessert... the chocolate cake and the rice pudding, exceptional! On top of that, the staff were super attentive and lovely and the atmosphere (and playlist) were great!

Been meaning to visit for months and boy this place did not disappoint. Exceptional food, a delicate balanced starter of beetroot, pistachio & mandarin. Followed by the lamb and ox cheeks, both cooked to perfection. Top Marks !

We had an incredible dinner here, the staff were attentive and knowledgeable and the food was fast and excellent quality and price. And the margarita cocktail! Wow insanely good! This is a central London worthy restaurant, Chingford is so lucky to have it! Can’t wait to come back for the roast chicken.
