So the atmosphere in this one is pretty cool; I particularly like the emerald lighting under the bar stools. The rest of the bar smacks of old Irish charm.
The Guinness is of course properly poured in this establishment, and they also had a number of Guinness drinks that went beyond the traditional offerings. However, I do have to say that the menu here is a bit limited here.
The waitresses were also very nice. Initially their credit card machine declined one of my cards that basically had nothing on it. I was told to use another card, which I did, and all was well. The real drama stated when I checked my banking app and discovered that the first charge had gone through, basically double charging me for the same tab. My waitress was very understanding and brought the manager over. The manager, however, was not so understanding, refusing to take the charge off my card. She said that I had to do this with my card company. When I called them, they said that a pending charge could always be removed by the bar. In any event, I was forced to wait a few days to remove the charge through my credit card company... a bit of a hassle.
