This was one of our favourite restaurants we went to in the Gothic Quarter. The drinks were all fantastic and all the food was delicious. It had really warm cozy vibes and was pretty quiet so we could talk and enjoy our food. It would be a great place for a date!

We sit in Ginger by chance. What a surprise. The waitress was really good and she answered all our questions. We ordered a Margarita cocktail, as my wife always does, and cold cuts with olives. Food was perfect, nicely presented and with the ambience of the old town it just melted in our mouth. We travel around the world and I have never seen my wife so happy. The Margarita she ordered was out of this world, she couldn't stop talking about it. We ordered the second one, and it just confirmed it is the best one she ever tasted. By chance, we met the mixologist, and told him the same. Thanks to the Ginger team, you made our day really special.

Loved it! Afternoon stop for lunch. Had the Patatas Brava and Sardine Toast with a Vermut and Aperol Spritz. Great spot in Placa De Sant Just to enjoy our food in the shade😊 Good prices and the food was great! Would highly recommend!

Beautiful little square (Placa de Sant Just) with tables in the middle. Sat down and had drinks and snacks (aperol spritz, vermut, patatas graves, smoked sardines, avocado and tomato jam on toast with side salad for 27 euros. Loved it.❤️

We visited twice during our trip to Barcelona! The Spanish tortilla was by far the best we had in the city. Absolute gem!

We accidentally discovered this place even though we live very close and it was a great surprise. Welcoming and cosy atmosphere, very friendly staff. Lovely homemade food, I absolute love the aroma from my freshly roasted chicken with plums! Definitely great value for money. We will surely come back!

I love this place. Perfect for a casual gathering. In summer there are tables outside and the location is fantastic. A hidden gem. Service is nice.

Yelp
A nice little bar that has a large selection of handcrafted drinks at reasonable prices and, of course, many tapas options (on the "snacks" menu). Each of the craft cocktails has what appears to be a strength rating (we guessed ranking the spirit-forwardness of each one): the Old Fashioned gets four "drops" while the gin fizz is two. That seemed about right -- tip: you definitely need to like whiskey to enjoy their interpretation. It is very tasty and lives up to the 4 "drops." ...and it is completely different from the watered-down, overly-sweet, thrice-the-price monstrosity that I had earlier today at a bar in the tourist area. In my opinion, the prices here are very reasonable. The drinks take a bit longer than at the tourist places... there seemed to be only one bartender with a couple of servers. However, your patience will be rewarded. In order of descending "drops," I suggest the Old Fashioned (es muy fuerte!), the Boulvardier (got to like Campari for this one) and the Gin Fizz (made with a local Gin and very approachable) The music was an eclectic selection that everyone in our group enjoyed: very laid back and cosy place.

Yelp
Ginger is great for brunettes and blondes too. Be patient, the bartender puts lots of love to the cocktail a la prohibition style. We sat right in front to watch all the concoctions and choice of ice cubes meticulously designed for each drink. Mojitos seemed to be the highest requested. We enjoyed bold red wines recommended by the server and loved the local vibe here. Word is that they play jazz music here. Hence, it was an over 30 crowd. A great spot for after dinner and they have hooks for your purse so you can keep your eye on your stash.

Yelp
Ginger was a pretty standard bar that was less touristy than most in the area. It was very dark, had a nice atmosphere, and was reasonably priced. The bartender was a nice guy, but there was only ONE bartender for the entire 2-story bar, assisted only by one or two waitresses fetching the occasional glass of wine between running bevvies to their tables. He was clearly overworked, and I felt bad for him, but it took FOREVER to get a drink. Still, I'd go back.

Yelp
Absolutely charming in a 50s cocktail lounge kind of way. Outstanding cocktails. Delicious international snacks. Great wine list. Sophisticated without being over-priced or pretentious.
