We had our office Christmas party here. The food was great. They accommodated our 30+ party in a private patio area. It was cozy warm for being outside. We had use of their large TV for a Slide presentation. Great music & atmosphere was amazing. Many of our party enjoyed the drinks. They allowed a 3rd party vender to accommodate our staff with permanent jewelry. We appreciated the attention they gave us when needed.

I have made a reservation prior to the family gathering, when we arrived I noticed they are so thoughtful to put my name at the reservation card. All dishes we ordered are good, fresh and serving with good portion. I can tell they are short of manpower for waitstaff on Saturday night but overall is pretty good.

Our first visit, but not our last! The food was delicious. The Ginger Monkey BBQ wingers were just right. I was very happy with the chicken salad and the chili. Party of 6 and everyone enjoyed the food.

Stopped in today for lunch and had an average experience. The dining area was closed so a sign directed us to bar seating. It was pretty busy but our waitress was friendly, professional and did a good job hustling to keep up with the many tables she had to manage. We ordered 3 appetizers (deviled eggs, brushetta medley and boneless wings). The deviled eggs and wings were tasty and well seasoned. The brushetta was average in taste. We then ordered a monkey burger, 3 little pigs sandwich and the lobster mac n cheese. The burger was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. The sandwich was entirely too salty and the mac n cheese was pretty bland. Overall the restaurant decor was colorful and creative. If you enjoy sports there are plenty of tvs to check out your favorite team and there are outdoor seating options.

i love this restaurant! the sliders were so rich in flavor along w the sauces. my friend got the tenders & loved them. the staff are so welcoming and the service is the best. there was also live music playing which really brought the friendly environment together.

Google
It's a nice atmosphere, great inside outside seating. Games to play and TV all around to keep the night interesting and if you're wanting to hang out a little longer than your meal 😜

This was our second time at Ginger Monkey and again, it didn't disappoint. I had the amazing short rib dish - absolutely yum! Sandwiches and burgers here are fantastic. The best part about this visit was that we went on a Wednesday and it was "Way back Wednesday" in the bar with DJ Jamal. He was spinning some great 80s tunes and my niece and I even danced a bit. So much fun! Thanks for the great time Jamal. Perfect little neighborhood bar and gastropub!

Google
Nice menu with lots of choices. Food was good though not outstanding. Casual spot which we'd return to. For a 'gastropub' their beer choice was small and my 1st 4 choices were kicked which was super disappointing. Service was friendly and very good.

Yelp
On our travel to Arizona this was our first dinner stop and it was good! Ginger Monkey has ginger monkey wings and they are to die for!! Very crispy and tangy/sweet & the house ranch that's homemade made it even better! There's no wonder why this restaurant made it to the food network because it's very delicious!! The service is so kind and the ambiance is so fun!

Yelp
Had a group night out with some friends this weekend, and we decided to try out the ginger monkey Gastropub. The service we got from Nick, the manager, was pretty good. He makes an excellent cold brew espresso martini, which he was generous enough to give us ladies some samples of, after one of our friends ordered it as one of their drinks. We went for happy hour, they have a pretty good selection of beers and specialty cocktails to choose from. I enjoyed our time out, one of the interesting things is that the ladies restrooms are fully equipped with bidets not something I'd expect unless traveling in Japan, but it adds a touch of sophistication in this Gastropub :) I'd recommend checking this place out, I personally would come back to try their other gastronomic delights.

Kelly P.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite place since we've moved to chandler. The entire staff is just amazing. They are all hard workers and very personable! Nick is always super helpful and makes great recommendations. Regal is also super friendly and recently we met Sam and she was amazing!! I am telling you just come here. Their wings are the best I've EVER HAD. get them in the monkey sauce. The pita dip is to die for. Monkey burger is great, salmon blt is solid... everything on this menu is seriously delicious. You won't regret it!! They also have a great atmosphere outside and inside!

Lina L.

Yelp
Have been here numerous times with groups. It is a great place to go eat, dance and even play bingo! The food is pretty good with decent prices. They recently changed their name and renovated the place so looking forward to checking it out.

Yelp
Are you kidding me with some of these reviews? This is my new go to place in Chandler. Food is AMAZING, service was on point and at my table anytime I needed anything and the GM Nick heard we just moved to the area and it was our first time in, so he came out an introduced himself to us. That's the kind of ownership you want in a GM. We had the wings and I'm not sure what they did to make that wonderful sauce, but I'm sure it had Unicorn Tears in it because it was magical. Jewels was amazing, food was amazing, Nick was amazing and the overall atmosphere is worth calling my new "go to". Kelly had the Monkey burger and truffle fries and can't wait to get it again. Great job you little Red headed monkey! We will be back

Yelp
It's been a little while since I been here. I remember this place being on Restaurant Makeover a few years back. I can honestly say I have lost my desire for this place. Now they present you with a small clip board with listing of beer, wine and spirits. There is no more cocktail menu ‍. I ordered an old fashioned with Gentleman Jack. I can honestly say this was not an old fashioned. No cherry, orange rind looked less than stellar. The Jack was not even visible through the bitters and I didn't taste any sugar or simple syrup. Nothing REALLY looked appetizing on the menu so went with a tried and true fish and chips. In all honesty I've had better fish and chips at the state fair. I get that the fish is deep fried in batter but there shouldn't be a puddle of liquid grease on my plate and the fish shouldn't be dripping inside the batter with grease. Even the fries left a lot to be desired. My girlfriend got the Jax pizza. She said it was pretty good. Not greasy and plenty of flavor. She ordered a mojito but about 15 minutes later another server came to the table saying they were out of mint so offered to make some other drink eith strawberries and basil. Nothing close to a mojito but I guess in the eyes of Ginger Monkey that was acceptable. I really have to say this place has become super disappointing. Even entering the venue there were many parking spots taken up by what looked like a makeshift farmers market in the parking lot ‍. Wont be going here again. Sorry guys

Yelp
If pregaming is your style, help Hamilton win here. They also love Nebraska football and the Broncos. Get some tots Ave consider the Nachos too.

Yelp
This place was such a chill vibe in the Ocotillo area of Chandler/SanTan which doesn't have a lot of nicer restaurants so we were excited to have a new spot to try. It is a really nice place. It gives date night vibes, party vibes and just chill on the extra large patio vibes. I personally loved the ambiance and the food and service were excellent.

Debi O.

Yelp
We needed to find a place to eat on Super Bowl night, that kinda didnt involve the game. We decided the Ginger Monkey looked like a good possibility. I will say, while it was SO Loud in there, we were able to find a place outside that was somewhat quieter. The waitress was so wonderful, and we had some delicious sweet potato fries plus out entrees. I had a beyond burger on a brioche bun and my sister opted for the chicken sandwich with no bun. It ended up being a very nice meal next to the outdoor fireplace.

Nancy M.

Yelp
We've had many experiences here and it's not always consistent but I will say that the ups generally outweighs any downs. The food is good and I do believe the the majority of the employees we've come in contact with do care about the customer experience and want to do a good job. The food is good. The establishment itself is clean.

Molly S.

Yelp
Dog friendly patio and dog menu! Food was great and good selection of cocktails available

Tim E.

Yelp
Several years ago, my wife and I sat on the patio for dinner. The food was mediocre and the service was terrible. We visited again on Father's Day 2023, knowing that this place was featured on a Food Network show and was supposed to be better. I would say, not much has changed. Service was ok, but slow. Food still mediocre. We tried a couple of apps and split a couple of entrées. Nothing bad, but not worth a return. We will not go back.

Craig Z.

Yelp
Cool place to check out. The food is great, the staff is friendly and the pricing is good.

Darron N.

Yelp
We just slipped in for a beer and some wings, both were good and satisfying. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is attentive and check in regularly.

John F.

Yelp
Great place but go somewhere else if your paying with a cc they charge a processing fee. Food cost is already high and it's just another up charge. So sad!

Leslie F.

Yelp
We went to the Ginger Monkey once again for Thursday prime rib and once again they didn't have it! Why offer if you are never going to make it? It's very good when they do! We went last night of course they didn't have it. We got there at 4:40 had a beer ordered finished our beer was on a second still no food. There was hardly anyone in the bar or restaurant. When we did finally get our food it was horrible. I had the compadre burger. Was a black patty, bun was black and soggy, onion rings were perfect. Burger was gross. So was my husbands. We have given this place so many chances when it's good it's good when it's bad it's bad. Very disappointed with the food, service, and just all around.

Cara T.

Yelp
We were looking for a simple place to get something light to eat and a few adult beverages. Hadn't been here before so thought we'd give it a try! It's a pretty cool place inside with a lot of seating in the bar area and the restaurant it good sized too. Little dark for my liking but that said, they had some neat marquee sign wall décor. More than 30 beers on tap and a substantial list of wines available by the glass and mixed cocktails. The tavern menu is appealing however kinda thought the prices were a little to high, but we just wanted a drink and something small to munch on anyway! In looking at the sharable's alone: Edamame was a hard pass at almost $11 for that appetizer. So settled on the traditional wings @ $15.99 with their ginger monkey sauce. They were average, count disappointing & if wanting additional ranch/ blue cheese it's .50 more per request. The server was efficient- she was working many of the tables in the bar area. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner and learned the background of his business as a casual gastro pub. We shared Colorado in common with him as well. It's always a pleasure to support small business. They've had some struggles, but with Food Networks visits this may help to bring more of a draw to this location & if they offer more affordable rates.

Laura J.

Yelp
My husband and I were taken to the patio and seated. 15 minutes went by and although several servers passed our table no one ever stopped or even acknowledged us. We left and never went back.

Prag R.

Yelp
This is a cool spot tucked in Chandler and is local fav definitely for their customer service and great drinks. We went in for lunch and loved the drinks and experience totally. We got Buffalo cauliflower, yhe pretzel was so huge, veggie pizza which was so good!

Kimberly b.

Yelp
Soft opening and sadly they have a long way to go to be successful. The focus is on the bar and not the food. Food took over an hour for 3 burgers wings a salad and sliders. Food was very average - service was no existent waiter's didn't know anything about the food that was on the menu. Educate your staff is a good start and getting the food out in a timely manner is just for beginners.

John K.

Yelp
Called Off 85 now. Went to their soft opening. Menu was limited at the time. Food was good. They had beers on special that they are no longer going to have. Service was great. Always checking to see if you needed anything. Definitely be back again to check on their progress.

Glenn P.

Yelp
Been here 1/2 dozen times and this time it just didn't cut it. Father's Day, about 7 pm. Prime Rib special!! Nope we're out Do you have kilt lifter? " hmm I don't think so but I'll check" " yup we do". My son ordered a Cobb salad. You'd think that would come with dressing. Nope I ordered a Rueben Burger with a 1/2 wedge salad. Wedge salads should have a wedge of lettuce. Mine was bagged lettuce My burger had cubes of fat that was supposed to pass as pastrami. Disappointing

Gwen M.

Yelp
I really had hoped that this place had turned around (before the whole Restaurant Impossible thing, it had terrible service and the food was 'meh'). Since it's been several years, we decided we'd give it another try....by doing a carry-out (baby steps). I click on the Take Out tab on their website and I get a page that says online ordering is closed right now. Closed? On a Saturday at 7 pm? I'm guessing they never actually had online ordering. It's 2022 .....who doesn't have online ordering? So I called and had to listen to a 3 minute voicemail recording before it finally told me to hit zero if i wanted to talk to someone. (Maybe they simply don't get a lot of carry out orders? It should be the 1st option they offer you). A girl answers the phone and I told her that I'd like to order 2 Dozen wings-- (as in 24). She says the Monkey Wings? (I'm thinking, well since Monkey Wings are the only wings you've got I'm unsure why you're asking) But yes, I say. And I'd like 1 Dozen to be Buffalo and the other Dozen to be Habanero. She says o.k thanks and goes to hang up. I have to quickly ask, how long before it's ready? She says about 15 minutes. To be safe, I leave 25 minutes later. When I arrive there's no one at the front podium. I wait around a few minutes when a girl comes up and I give her the name. She says o.k. I'll go get it, then turns around and comes back and says she'll 'meet me at the bar' since that's where I have to pay. So I go over to the bar. A couple different bartenders asked me what the name on the order was, what did I have, etc. A manager then comes from the kitchen, walks by and says "Oh they're just now packaging up your order". O.k., I would've hoped 30 mins would've been enough time that it would've been ready, but whatever. The girl from the front podium finally comes out and sets my order on a bar chair over at the waitresses ordering station and says the girl at the terminal there will have me pay. So this gal starts trying to presumably type in what I'd ordered so she can cash me out, when I hear the manager, (now behind the bar and down in the middle of the bar), hollering at me "$51.89!!!" I say "Huh?" He hollers again $51.89. So I guess now I'm paying him instead of this gal. Apparently, there's no standard process of doing carry-outs because no one seemed to know who was doing what or how. It was confusing just to watch. All said and done, we get home-- there are 16 wings. NOT 24 as I'd ordered. Which means someone in my family now ain't eating. So apparently the gal that took my order either paid ZERO attention to what I had said when she wrote my order (typically they serve by the Lb not by dozen) or the kitchen screwed up and didn't actually give me the 24 that she had written. Regardless, they didn't give what I asked for which resulted in a trip to Mcdonalds to get more food. On top of that, the Cauliflower salad that's supposed to come with a honey mustard vinaigrette came with NO dressing at all. Good thing i happened to have some balsamic at home. The wings were meaty and pretty tasty, but the buffalo ones were drowning in Buffalo sauce. And the cauliflower salad was just 'meh'...i would not order it again or recommend it. Maybe it's better if it's actually got dressing. To summarize, Ginger Monkey is not any better than it was a few years ago-- so we will be not be going back ever, lesson learned. The only saving grace was that we were smart enough to carry-out and didn't bother to actually go sit down to eat. Based on the other reviews, I think we would've had even more to write about service. :(

Yelp
We have lived in AZ for 6 days, and googled "dog friendly restaurants" to find a place to eat. Ginger Monkey Gastropub came up. That is how we chose this restaurant, and as I told the GM Nick, we are now obsessed! We (party of 4, don't judge) ordered the deviled eggs, wedge salad, bacon mozzarella flat bread , fish and chips, lobster Mac, and some cocktails. Everything was so delicious! We cannot wait to come back and try more things on the menu. Very cool they have a little doggie menu so our furry friends can join. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. 10/10 will eat here again.

Heidi W.

Yelp
Great spot. Their happy hour menu is very big and offers a wide variety of foods and drinks for cheaper prices. The staff was not as attentive as I'd like to but each time I've been there (twice), it's been on a Friday when it's super busy. The location and ambiance is great with nice patio and plenty of parking

Cecilia L.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a Friday night around 7pm. Only had to wait 10mins to get a table. Love the vibe, the open space, funky lighting, decor and the story behind it all. Staff is all friendly, welcoming and helpful. I assume this place gets poppin once the live music starts since the pop-up when you visit the website recommends buying tickets in advance to guarantee a table and get a drink. Just love that they have live music Fri and Sat so we don't have to drive that far to see live entertainment. Hubby ordered the wings with Ginger Monkey sauce and a basket of fries. The wings were savory and sweet with a hint of heat. They were thick and hearty pieces with plenty of meat on them. The dipping sauces were a little on the watery sides, but otherwise he enjoyed them. The hand cut fries were crispy outside with a nice chewy center and we loved that they left the skins on too for that extra crisp edge. Well-seasoned and a perfect amount to share. I ordered the All American with a beyond burger patty, white cheddar and a house salad. The salad was a decent size for a side salad. Iceburg lettuce was crisp and the tomatoes and cucumbers tasted fresh. Got the light balsamic vinaigrette on the side and it was flavorful but not overpowering. Beyond patty was cooked well and the cheese was perfectly melted and gooey on top. The bun was soft and buttery and I devoured every last bite! Our server Jared was great: attentive, friendly and helpful in answering all our questions. It does get pretty loud in here so just keep that in mind (hard to hear staff or each other when talking at normal volume), but the vibe and energy of the place is great especially for a night out on the weekend! I completely forgot to take pics of everything and by the time I remembered, we had already finished both our main dishes and had eaten halfway through the basket so forgive the lack of foodie photos. Obviously we enjoyed the meal!

Yelp
My wife and I stopped by for dinner yesterday for date night. A reservation helped as they were a bit busy. Ro took great care of us. We started with a cocktail - Gin Martini for me while my wife had the Huckleberry Mule. The Martini was wonderful while the Sweetness of the Huckleberry Vodka was cut by the ginger beer and lime. For mains, I had the salmon with a wedge side salad and onion rings. She had the Monkey burger and opted to upgrade to the Truffle fries. Both dishes were amazing. I will admit that I'm hooked on their wedge salad. I substituted ranch dressing for the Bleu and asked for the Bleu Cheese crumbles on the side. It had a drizzle of the candied bacon. Simply amazing. We will be back.

Cindy L.

Yelp
Monique and Jackson are the owners, such hard working, honest and loving people. Brittney the bar area/bartender was AMAZING. Even though she had only been there for just three days, it was like she was born there. Good to have her in the family. We had Ginger Monkey wings, twisted short ribs along with some experimental bacon, chef's choice. The plAce is so impressive, clean, fun a Hugh area for outdoor seating.... I WOULD RECOMMEND, love this place. I love the BIDET!

Kim S.

Yelp
Great atmosphere but the wings were extremely salty, we sent them back a couple times, but nada. The staff was great, lets fix that salty wing thing!!

Carey H.

Yelp
Wish I read all the reviews before I decided to eat here. To be clear, this was my birthday celebration dinner. I drove from the opposite side of town, nearly 45 minutes each way, for the sole experience of dining here. No mention of an open mic night on the web site. Tried to make a reservation online, two days later without a response I called to confirm and they had no record of it. They even ended the phone call very awkwardly. 3 of us ate while the last one in our party shared our food. Long after we were done, his food was provided. However it was not made well or consistently. He received two halves of, apparently, two different pizzas. One half of the pizza cut into straight slices, and the other half cut in triangles. Offering to email the manager to give them a second chance makes no sense. Of course, if you're expecting me, you are going to make certain I have a good experience. The point the manager is missing is you should make certain every diner has a great experience as IF you asked them to give them your restaurant a second chance. Get it? Your boilerplate response seen time and time again here on Yelp and Google is the same cut-and-paste response everyone else received. Asking for second chances this many times on Yelp! should have been embarrassing enough for you to ensure it never happened again. Yet here we are. Same issues, same complaints, new victims, same apologies. Not buying it. I have no desire to go back. Even if you offered to pay me to eat there.

Melissa L.

Yelp
Didn't eat, but came for a band and some drinks. We ordered a mixture of beers, cocktails, and sodas. Somehow all of those drinks were just god awful. I don't know if there's mold in the soda lines and/or beer taps, but each drink was off in a funky way.

Alli G.

Yelp
Second time in and better than the first. This time we sat in the bar area and the staff was amazing. We ordered some cocktails (lemon drop and church beer) loved both. Next we ordered some appetizers and couldn't have been happier. Great environment, open and huge back patio. We'll be back for sure!

Maralina D.

Yelp
Don't waste your time and money. This place has a false front. Website looks good, the building is nice yet the food is subpar. For example, the veggies brought with the hummus were soggy, soft and tasteless with carrots not properly peeled, very soft and cucumbers soggy. Hummus didn't taste like hummus and pizza ordered was not delivered to the table then was delivered under cooked. Service is slow to nonexistent and the drinks are incorrect with staff unable to provide the right wine or Prosecco. Not sure how they manage to stay in business. Seemed like whoever owns or runs it doesn't care any longer. Staff is too young and inexperienced to know better.

Shelley K.

Yelp
We were told to sit wherever when we arrived... and waited for 20mins for a server to come give us menus and take our drink order. It was another 25 minutes before we got our food. Brussels sprouts were sweet and bitter. I love Brussels sprouts but I didnt enjoy these. Grilled cheese was good, a bit hard to eat because it was so tall. Husband got the short rib sliders & fries, said they were ok.. Teen got the boneless wings w the whiskey sauce, which came out luke warm. He said the sauce was tasty, though. Picky kid got mac and cheese and fries and was happy. Overall I would only come back with a large group and a few hours to chit chat, because they didn't seem concerned with turning tables over quickly. The service was friendly, just incredibly slow.

Stephanie M.

Yelp
We started coming here four years ago it use to be a good place to come and eat an amazing dinner and watch the Bronco's game.I wanted to come in for MNF and eat some good food and enjoy a couple of drinks what a mistake where do I start. We sat in the bar it took 20 minutes to get a servers attention when she finally came over to take our drink order she asked if we would like menus we stated "Yes " she walked away we ended up having to wonder around looking for menus with no luck, it took over 30 minutes to get my sex on the beach, finally some older gentleman came to the table and asked how everything was? Really? I stated not good we would like menus he came back with menus to find out that this place went from a great menu to something that sounded worse than a dive bar's frozen food menu. My boyfriend ordered the fish and chips the fries came out cold but he said that the fish patty was ok and I ordered one of the worst pizza's ever the Jax pizza . The crust was crunchy like a cookie and the toppings were really dried out it wasn't good by any mean atheism pizza made your store bought frozen Tortinos pizza look like a fine dining pizza. While I was trying to figure the whole pizza thing out the older man / server came up to our table and asked how everything tasted and I told him that the pizza was different he asked good different? Or bad different? I told him I wasn't sure and he said that he'd come back to check with me and do you think he did? NO lol because he didn't want to hear about how terrible it was. Long story short after coming in for four years it's finally come to an end between the terrible food to lack of customer service.

Stephan W.

Yelp
Great service and great food! The compadre burger has some amazing flavor with a kicking heat! The pretzel appetizer is must as well! Matt the manager on shift provided great service with it being my wife and myself first time.

Heather R.

Yelp
On a Friday night at dinner time, the restaurant was out of short ribs and Brussels sprouts - which eliminated an appetizer option and two possible entrees. The bread on my husband's sandwich came out burned. The manager and owner insisted the kitchen remake the sandwich. The second attempt was better.

Katherine Z.

Yelp
Went here on a limb for my 18th birthday, and don't regret my decision one bit! Walking in, I was amazed to find they had a live jazz singer that night, and that the interior was full of eye-catching contemporary decorations. Food was mind-blowingly delicious and our waitress was an absolutely sweetheart. She was very energetic and knowledgeable about the menu, and was very patient with my father who struggles with English and has impaired hearing. At first I was a little bit taken aback by the price in comparison to the portions, but one bite made it clear that the pricing was absolutely worth it. I could not have any of the alcohol but my parents clearly enjoyed the selection of original mixed drinks, as I drove us home that night! Overall, I had an amazing night celebrating an important benchmark and my life, and would love to return here with my partner for a sweet and vibrant date night.

Yelp
My wife and I were on our way to California so we thought we'd stop in and grab some food real quick. This was our first time here and we're a little excited to try a new place. We started by ordering drink, my wife ordered a mojito but the waitress told us the bartender was new and might not know how. how about an IceTea, no ice Tea. Ok, she'll have a Kilt Lifter. Beer came flat....no carbonation. We ordered food and to make it simple we both ordered grilled cheese because we thought it would be fast and easy. Food took a little long but finally it came. We basically had a toasted cheese sandwich. Bread was lightly toasted and the cheese wasn't even melted. The waitress apologized and took the sandwiches back to the kitchen to remake. Finally the food came out again, which the general manager brought to us, apologized and asked how the food look. Should have taken a picture, the came out burnt like black burnt. By this time we're just need to get on the road, we eat the sandwiches. Our waitress made sure that we got a discount which came in the form of no charge. Finally they did something right. The general manager came back and apologized again. insisted that we come back in a couple weeks as they are redoing the kitchen. The best part of our experience was the waitress. She made sure the food was remade and that we got a discount on our meal. Which in my opinion should have come from the general manager. I'm not going to suggest that you don't come to this place. But I'm not going to sugar coat it either and say I'd come back. Not even if it was free, I won't be back. Judge for yourself, everyone has different experiences, ours just wasn't one that would bring me back to this place. There are plenty of places to eat in the valley.

Christine P.

Yelp
We sent here on Father's day so there was a special menu in place for some items. One of us got the prime rib special and it was very flavorful and really good but they didn't have au jus or horseradish for is my only disappointment. The other had a burger and it was prepared perfectly and tasty! Service was a little slow, they do seem to be short staffed like everywhere else right now and the server was running around like mad so we did not hold it against them. The Sunday brunch looks really good so we will be back to try it. The atmosphere is fun and laidback while being unique. They were out of 2 of the drinks we tried to order and we ended up liking one of our selections but not the other. When you are on your third drink choice it is hit or miss!

Yelp
Great food and great service! The Mike-high grilled cheese is an adventure worth taking, and the short rib dish is absolutely delicious. My wife and daughter and I have gone here several times, and we always enjoyed the food, drinks and service. I definitely recommend GM!!

Yelp
Perhaps the Ginger Monkey hasn't recovered from pandemic-related staffing issues and perhaps they don't take 'Gastropub' seriously. The meal my wife and I had today was awful. I ordered Pulled Pork Sliders and my wife had the Short Rib Sliders. We shared Chips with Guacamole. The Guac was good - the Chips were fresh - this was the only high point! Both sets of sliders had stale buns. The Pulled Pork was dry and tasteless. The Short Rib Sliders were OK. At $6 per slider, one would expect something better than bus terminal value. I ate one and one-half of mine and my wife managed two of hers. The side of fries reminded me of high school lunch but, late in the school year, when the state-issued frozen food had dried out and the fryer was still using oil from the previous September. We've both had upset stomachs since the meal - Alka Seltzer and Pepto are our only hope for any possibility of sleep tonight.

Yelp
This is our second try of this place since they reopened as Off 87. The service is absolutely horrible! Tonight, we sat at the bar. We must have been invisible as people were getting greeted and served on both sides of us and we were ignored. We finally got drinks and waited forever to order food. We had to flag them down. We were never asked if we wanted another drink, never asked if the food was ok, never asked if we wanted water, Never given a roll up. We had to flag them down again to ask for the check. The hamburgers are really good. I had the street corn and it was also good. Please train your people! This place has the location and space to be amazing!

Yelp
We arrived early for our 11:30 am reservation. We were greeted promptly. Although my mother came in a wheel chair and obviously cannot walk, the young lady suggested a booth. We were seated and given a cocktail menu. Mother, 97 years old, ordered a glass of wine, which didn't come in stemware. Instead, it was a very heavy glass that she couldn't grasp without using both hands, and even then she struggled. We studied the menu for about fifteen minutes before the server came to tell us that the menu had changed, and we could not order the Lobster Mac or the Salmon entree. If you change the menu, then print new ones. Our food took an inordinately long time to be served. This, despite the fact that the restaurant was quite empty. I ordered the Braised Short Rib, supposedly served with bacon blue cheese crust, herbed sliced potatoes and Broccolini. Although there was a sprinkling of blue cheese, it was certainly no crust. They also substituted mashed potatoes which were lumpy, and the broccolini was impossible to cut into bite sized pieces. This was not the recipe Robert Irvine developed for this restaurant. This was my birthday lunch, and it was disappointing, to say the least.

Yelp
One of my favorite local spots for above average sports bar menu! Lots of big screens and quick take service.

First time here yesterday,as we had a family gig here. We stayed after our show and hang out and ate. Service was super slow, messed up a few things, and wasnt attentive. Thefood was super delicious, expensive, but good. The big, juicy, and crunchy wings were very much enjoyed!! Yummy, tender spare ribs. The shishito peppers devine!!!!

Yelp
My husband and I enjoyed the pizza and the monkey wings with the sauce on the side. Our waiter was really nice. Now the bad. We ordered fries as well. They were NOT good. I don't see how you can make fries bad! The entire time while we were eating we were swatting away flies. That was extremely annoying. We had to ask our waiter for extra napkins and we covered our food. We could have had a better experience at the Ginger Monkey!

Yelp
Pet friendly patio with a great atmosphere. We sat outside next to the big fireplace. Our waitress was Mallory and she was an absolute doll! Great food. The monkey burger is an absolute must. They even have a dog menu, so we ordered our pup a chicken bowl and a water bowl. We will definitely be back!
