The food is great as always. Fresh and clean even for togo. The staffs are so nice and fast. This is my favorite restaurant! Recommended 👍🏻

Google
Song gives a great service, he makes very personable and remembers your previous order. Always feel welcomed by him. My to go to’s: papaya salad, pineapple fried rice , and curry chicken.

Was in the area and wanted to find something to eat for lunch, this place seemed like a must try. Everything about this small little Thai place is great! Was really shocked how everything on the menu looked exactly like the actual food or drink after ordering! Very satisfied and can’t wait to be in the area again to have lunch! Price is perfect too for the amount of food served!

Google
I often eat here with my friends and co-workers. The food is priced right. The restaurant's atmosphere I'd say is cosy and pretty quiet. There are many different menu options so there's always a chance you'll find something you'd want to eat. I've been going to this place for about 8 years now and I've never left this place dissatisfied.

Google
... This was a really good experience. I had the Duck Curry and a Thai Tea. The food was full of flavor (as expected from a Thai curry). The service was cheerful and attentive. The overall atmosphere was inviting.

Google
Great place to have delicious Thai Food in Dallas. We tried to taste the Thai food so found out the best place. As it's COVID situation, the restaurant has taken safety measures of their customers and running 50% occupancy. We ordered Mango Sticky rice and Chicken Samosa, the best place to have it and also we ordered for Basic veg Fried rice, Chicken appetizers, Siracha Chichen Fried rice. All we had is the best time and best food at the best place.

Google
Went here for lunch after my birthday shenanigans, I really enjoyed the food and service! I was surprised to see it not busy during the time we ate there, but I want to rave about this place! The front of house staff member was so kind and always had a smile on his face. The food was absolutely delicious! I got the pad see ew with tofu, and my boyfriend got the pineapple fried rice. We finished off with the mango sticky rice, the ambience was very pleasant. 10/10 will go here again the next time I’m in Dallas! :)

Google
I had an amazing experience at Ginger Thai this evening. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced savory, a little sweet, and packed with flavor. The Thai tea was rich and creamy, just the right level of sweetness. And the shrimp rolls are so crunchy and delicious, I could’ve ordered another round! Definitely a must try spot for Thai food lovers. Can’t wait to go back!

Yelp
Food is always good and plentiful. Pad Thai is solid and I'm a big fan of their curry's. It's also BYOB so no expensive liquor charges.

Yelp
I made reservations for this place and when I entered and ask for a table of 2, I was asked by the server if I had made a reservation and given my name. There were quite a few spots present so we were able to be seated quickly. We ordered Edamame, Pad Prik Khing, and Spicy Basil Fried Rice (not pictured). The employee who served the food and the server came by multiple times to check on how the food was, refill our glasses, and if we needed anything. That was very well appreciated. When the edamame was served, I noticed that the bowl was steaming which made me wonder if this had been frozen prior and the dish was just microwaved. I could tell that they were also lightly salted. The Pad Prik Khing was delicious. I asked for a spice level of 4, and the curry went along great with the rice. A few pieces of the chicken may have been over cooked. This was my first time getting this curry as I usually go for red or panang curry at Thai restaurants, and it turned out quite well. My date enjoyed her Spicy Basil Fried Rice as well. I had a good time, and recommend you check this place out!

Yelp
Have been going here for lunch and dinner for years. Consistently excellent food and service. Always get the corn patties as app--amazingly addictive. Also recently had their dumplings are they are great. Their hot and sour soup is perhaps the best in the metroplex! The other night we had a bowl and it is so flavorful. The yellow curry is quite different-try it! I get it often and it always is wonderful. I've also had several of their noodle dishes and they are quite good. Service is good, friendly, and appropriate. They keep water glasses full and make sure you're happy. This is a wonderful place!

Yelp
This is a casual Thai spot, located in a shopping center so there may be some other things your interested in that you can walk to from the restaurant. The customer service was great. There was only one lady working when I went but she was attentive, timely and helpful. The food was good. The shrimp rolls are not skimping on the shrimp and have a nice crunch to them. The sauce is a bit thin if you're used to a thicker sweet and chili sauce. The green curry shrimp was delicious, I recommend at least a 3/5 spice level because the green curry is sweet and the spice gives it a nice balance. If you're in the area I'd check them out.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. I went there on weekend from work for pick up. Owner/manager did ask me if this was first time, which it was and said that I would love the food. Rightfully so, I loved the pad ke mow with chicken. At spice level 4 it had the right amount of spice for me and quantity and price were on par as well. I recommend trying this place if you are looking for good food at decent price

Cathy N.

Yelp
Very delicious food, always fresh! Very friendly establishment. Good atmosphere. Thai tea is amazing every time I order.

Pysan Y.

Yelp
The waitresses were nice and friendly, and I know the restaurant was moderately busy when I came in around lunch time. The food was okay in that the noodles were cooked sufficiently, but the sauce was too sour and was lacking in taste. I asked ahead if they cook with Chinese broccoli, which they said they don't, so I wasn't surprised that they were using regular broccoli. However, I was pretty surprised at the poor quality of broccoli that was used to cook this dish. Unsurprisingly, the chicken was bland, but the sauce did nothing to make up for the lack of taste.

Yelp
Fast and fresh. I got the Pad Kee Mao, and at first I was a little skeptical because it came out and it seemed there was barely any sauce. While it wasn't drenched in sauce, it was very clean tasting and flavorful. The chicken spring rolls were too. I only wish they had some lunch combos. I had to order a whole order of chicken spring rolls when I really just ordered one. If you are in the area, check them out. They must be a staple because they seemed to have a lot of regulars come in while I was there.

Richard M.

Yelp
Fried dumplings were good (beware, if you ask for extra sauce, there is a charge). The yellow curry chicken was good, but the vegetables in the dish were cold. My wife didn't enjoy the gross crab noodle dish, so we returned it. $42 for all of that seems high.

Yelp
Food was not on par with taste .. portions were small and bit on the pricey side..probably just the location of the restaurant

Yelp
Absolutely love Thai food and having a location near work is awesome. The service was quick and the environment was clean. It's a great lunchtime place overall and the lunchtime special was greatly appreciated! My appetizer was a spring roll with shrimp. Very fresh veggies and the peanut sauce was great! My coconut soup was so filling and flavorful. I ordered a side of white rice to add to it and oh so delicious! My Thai tea was a little too much on the sugar and milk but I'd still recommend it if it's one of your favorites

Dillon G.

Yelp
Food is excellent. Service is slightly below average. Called in for pickup and when I got there only 1/2 of the order was ready. I paid then realized they were missing a few items. Had to wait another 20 minutes.

Carol G.

Yelp
The best! Have been consistently eating here for years and it is truly some of the best Thai in Dallas. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the food is always delicious.

Yelp
This is a cute casual spot for some fresh Thai grub!! I dined here recently with a friend and we ordered a few items to share. My faves were the pad woon sen as well as the spring rolls! The spring rolls I'd definitely get again. They were super hot and crispy especially with the sweet and spicy sauce on the side. The portions here are massive by the way, so plan for that and/or you will have a ton of leftovers. I brought home enough for lunch the next day. I love the super thin rice noodles and try to always order this when I go to a Thai restaurant. I also sort of prefer this dish a bit spicier, so just a note be sure to tell them how hot you want it otherwise it will be more on the bland side. I was wishing I had more sauce to add to it. Aside from that the food here is very much on the clean and fresh side so the fact that they don't dump extra salt on everything is a bonus. The décor inside is very serene and peaceful and the servers were very polite and our food came out quickly. So if you're looking for flavorful Thai this may not be your bet. But it is very convenient, quick and prices are do able.

Kathryn P.

Yelp
Just moved to neighborhood. It's close, quick and tasty. The service was terrific, friendly waitress. The food was good! I always get Thai hot and this was right up my alley. The peppers must have been spicier....also loved the spice tray they brought out! The tom yum soup was not spiced with the oily chili sauce....made me happy! Like my food spiced with peppers not oil! The chicken satay good and pad ke mow with chicken was good too! It's different every place you go, this place is a keeper.

Allison C.

Yelp
loved the pineapple fried rice! the service was good and I also think the prices are really great for the portion size

Yelp
They make the best thai food in the area. Take out order is really quick just about 10-15 minutes, delivery order is very quick too (they do deliver). I've eaten here so often and never once, I have anything to complain. They have vegan options and it is the best vegan food I've ever tried. Delicious!!! Check out the photos and you will trust me lol.

Yelp
Cute little Thai restaurant with some delicious authentic food. Very low-key and not expensive. Went during the lunch hour and had a great time. Great customer service and the food had so much flavor. I enjoyed the wings and the masaman curry - the waiter recommended. I definitely will come back soon!

Yelp
Pretty disappointed with this place. Tried it for the first time Friday night; ordered 2 pad thai with shrimp, 2 fried crab apps, & a papaya salad. The spice was on point, and everything was nice and fresh. It was delicious. Came back Sunday night (albeit right before close) and ordered the exact thing. Everything was fresh, but absolutely no spice. Didn't feel like cooking again tonight, so ordered the exact same thing again. This time, however, the pad thai was disgusting. It was dry and the shrimp was tough. It's like this was made hours ago and reheated once we ordered. There is also absolutely no spice. I'm really sad as I thought I'd found a new Thai spot, but we've spent $45-60 each visit and I cannot roll the dice on my dime again. Unfortunate.

Yelp
Great Food, great service and great prices. I like this place and I especially like their pad see ew
google avatar

Crystal C.

Yelp
I have eaten here so much with my co-workers. This location is really close to my office and it has become an office ritual to have all of our new staff eat lunch here. The lunch specials are really versital and great sizes. The space is really small and can become packed really fast during lunch hour. However, no matter how busy they get the quality of the food is not compromised. I would recommend the Basil Fried Rice or the Pad Thai Noodles. I would also recommend calling your order in ahead of time just in case you are wanting to eat during lunch hour.
google avatar

Lula S.

Yelp
This spot is sooo convenient and great for lunch! We just moved offices so are extremely closeby and are actually ordering more food as I type this. Staff is friendly and the dishes are great and well portioned. Prices are amazing!

Yelp
I've been eating at Ginger Thai since I was probably 13-14 years old and I'm 21. I have been to A LOT of Thai places but nothing compares to Ginger Thai. The service is always great no matter which location you are at. The food has remained the same through out the years, if not yummier. My all time favorite dish is the Thai Herbal Chicken with the side of White Rice and chili oil drizzled in it. I love the environment and the set up. Its truly one of Dallas best Thai Restaurants and I plan on getting married here if possible lol with that being said. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do. Yelp
Delicious curry and great service. BYOB. This place is a small hole in the wall with delicious and affordable food. Try the samosas too!

Shonda M.

Yelp
I have enjoyed eating here for years, however no more after today. I picked up my order & brought it home. When I opened the plastic bag, a roach crawled across my kitchen counter (which I killed). I called the restaurant and told the employee who I had just picked it up from. I directly asked her if they have roaches in their kitchen...she stuttered & couldn't answer. I told her that it's a health violation. She said she's tried to tell the owners but they won't do anything about it. Very disappointed.
google avatar

Erin M.

Yelp
Can't go wrong with ginger Thai! It's the best Thai in town and I'll die on that hill. It's a hole in the wall place in a shopping center, so you know it has to be good. I've never had anything here I didn't like and I take friends here all the time - always gets a good review from them as well! My favorite is the peanut chicken.
google avatar

James P.

Yelp
I like this place. It's by my house. I was a bit worried about it because of the reviews, but everything I have tried here so far has been really good. Tom kha, pad thai, drunken noodles.... The food though from a staple perspective, is worth it though only if you're in the area. You can get Thai food anywhere and if you're a local this is a solid spot. If you're not, there's no need to go out of your way.

Joe S.

Yelp
As I always try out a new Thai restaurant, I ordered chicken PadThai and green papaya salad as a testing standard. I was surprised that the server asked us spicy level we want. We went for regular spicy. I have to say. The spicy level was just right for me, but too much to handle for my friend who though he could handle spicy. Now to the foods. The papaya salad was refreshing with just right amount of fish sauce and spices. The Pad Thai noodle was soft but not sticky, the chicken was flavorful and tender, and the seasoning was just about right.
google avatar

Lindsay H.

Yelp
We love Ginger Thai!!! The food is ALWAYS fantastic and the service is friendly and fast. We have been ordering from them for over 10 years, dine in, delivery and take out. The Tom Kha soups is devine and the yellow curry is super yummy. Don't let the exterior deter you from trying this great local food.
google avatar

Anita M.

Yelp
Excellent Thai food and lovely people! We have been dining and doing take out for years. They had a power outage yesterday and some people gave them bad reviews. That is so wrong. We will continue supporting Ginger Thai!
google avatar

Scott S.

Yelp
We have lived in the area for a few years and failed to try out this local gem. We got take out and it was ready quickly and it looked and tasted great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We are definitely going back.
google avatar

Israel F.

Yelp
We decided to try this place today since we were craving authentic Thai cuisine. Unfortunately this place was a huge let down; the food was bland and not very flavorful. Sad to say, every item we tried was frankly not good (we threw out all the food after a few bites). As a person who has actually eaten Thai food in Thailand, I can say that this restaurant is not even close to being authentic. The staff are friendly, hence, the 2 star rating. Without that, this restaurant would easily be rated 0-1 stars. I wanted to like this place since it's close to my job, but I can't cosign. Save your money and try elsewhere.
google avatar

Laura S.

Yelp
I LOVE ginger Thai!! Their food is delicious and low cost. They are very efficient and make my favorite Thai food in the area! I always get the chicken Panang curry, egg rolls, and crab rangoon (and occasionally sticky rice ). YUUUUMMM! They will always have my business!

Martin G.

Yelp
Nice ambiance, attentive service, and delicious Thai entrees. I had the drunken noodles and my partner ordered the Pad Thai. Everything perfectly spiced and reasonably priced. The corn patties were a little too small and dry, but overall, we recommend this place.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
A refreshing lunch special with an actual lunch special price. We shared the Chicken Spring Rolls appetizer - light yet delicious. The lunch was served with a small soup that was full of fresh veggies. Our lunch crew shared - Pad Thai with tofu and Chicken and Baby Corn. Pad Thai - I typically don't care for tofu or peanuts. But the Pad Thai was just delicious. The noodles were firm and flavorful. The tofu had a delicious crunch to its exterior. The peanuts were not overwhelming, nor distracting. A really good dish. Chicken and Baby Corn - I love baby corn. Every vegetable on the plate was fresh, flavorful, and crisp. I was impressed by the sauce - it was light and subtle. Served with Jasmine Rice. We also enjoyed the Thai Iced Tea. It was unique and flavorful. If you have never had Thai Iced Tea it is kind of like an iced coffee but with tea flavoring - different but good!
google avatar

Clarie C.

Yelp
I has a taste for some different flavors! This is my first Thai Restaurant that I have visited. I was highly impressed! The staff was nice and kind. The place was clean and ready for service. I tried the Sesame Chicken with light and fluffy noodles. A green Matcha drink. My sister had beef broccoli! Everything was so tasty and delicious. I had enough leftovers for dinner. I would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Try it you will love it!
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
This place has really gone downhill in quality as well as in customer experience. The people who work there are slower than they claim to be and very unapologetic about it. The thai place across the street is just as good and a little cheaper on avg.
google avatar

Mykie D.

Yelp
I was in the area doing my Saturday errands and decided I wanted Thai for lunch. Thai is my fave food and it's cold enough today to start off with a hot soup. So I went to Yelp and looked for close-by Thai. This place was in the shopping center directly across from Sprouts, which is where I was. The customer service is good and attentive. There was one other person dining in and a couple of people who came in to pick up call-in orders. I started off with tom-yum soup, which is my fave soup. I appreciated the balance of lemongrass and cilantro. However, the soup was missing something. A dash of salt or something salt-like would have completed this dish. It had chunks of white onion, diced green onion, cilantro, lemongrass and chicken. I wasn't blown away by the soup, but it wasn't terrible. I do not have to have it again. I ordered spicy fried rice with shrimp for my entrée. I ordered level 4 out of 5 spiciness level. It was not spicy at all, which was disappointing. I love my food to be very spicy, which is why I ordered a 4. This was more like a 2, at best. The shrimp were deveined with a tail on. They were well-cooked. The rice was decent in flavor, but just mediocre. If I ever stop in again, I will try the pad thai or the drunken noodles.

Alecia A.

Yelp
Fantastic place to eat! We ordered the crab wontons and pad Thai. Two staple dishes I order at any Thai place & this definitely was the top of the list for me! Great flavor, prices, service, and very clean restaurant. We will be back!
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
My favorite Thai food! Amazing Thai salad and seafood dish! They also let you byob if you dine in,, how cool! Staff is always friendly! Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Daniel T.

Yelp
This is a legit Thai place! We came here for lunch so it wasn't packed but the price and food value is great here. The entrees came with a salad complementary. I got a pad Thai with a fried egg and it was delicious. Spicy and flavorful I would highly recommend. And finally, the Thai tea is the bomb! So so good!
google avatar

Maddie T.

Yelp
I really don't know why the stars are low at this place. I love this place so much. It's so good and the service is always outstanding!! Been coming here for years and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon!! Thai herbal chicken is really good. So is the pineapple fried rice. The pad Thai. Papaya salad is amazing too!! The chicken spring rolls. The crab cream cheese... seriously everything is good and fresh!!

Anne A.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic food and great service. We especially love the Panang curry, spring rolls, and the tom kha gai chicken coconut lemongrass soup but everything they make is good. Our favorite Thai restaurant in the area.

Nate P.

Yelp
My wife and I recently discovered Ginger Thai and brought home some takeout. It's so good! We keep going back since our kids ask for it now. Besides the food being amazing, our orders are always ready when they say, and they are accurate - and accuracy is important with takeout so you don't have to make a second trip to get it right. They really do a great job with everything, and customers in the restaurant look happy. I did hear about some recent negative reviews because the restaurant lost power and, thus, had to close and didn't have staff available. I was at the strip mall they are in, picking up my dry cleaning. A utility pole had fallen on the street behind the strip mall, and there were police and utility vehicles blocking the street and making repairs. It was a pretty big mess. Giving a business a negative review for something out of their control seems really petty. I am one of many Ginger Thai fans in our Dallas neighborhood letting Yelpers know that this is a legit great little restaurant.

Zoë G.

Yelp
I love living so close to this establishment. Their chicken pot noodle is my addiction and their egg rolls are always hot and crispy and delicious. Consistently great food and professional service

Neal C.

Yelp
All noodles, no meat or tofu is my only reason for rating this a "3." The food taste great, but really hoping to have more meat in my dish. They also upcharge for every additional request. You want more chilies on it? Upcharge. Extra onions, upcharge.
google avatar

Dave G.

Yelp
Great flavor, nothing overcooked, with a traditional mango sticky rice that's goosebump good.

Zoe P.

Yelp
Have been to this place many times in the past, but recently the food quality and service has gotten much worse. Most recently we ordered takeout and the woman was rude when taking our order over the phone and picking up in person. The pad Thai was mushy and had almost no flavor. The sticky mango rice was so hard that I had to cut it into pieces with a knife. We will be taking this restaurant off of our list.

Luis H.

Yelp
Their matcha green tea drink is amazing! The food is good, just recommended if you don't eat spicy too to not pick spicy, but food is great, friendly stagg
