"Step aside from the typical beer breweries in Asheville with Ginger’s Revenge, a ginger beer brewery. Ginger’s Revenge makes flavors like Hawaiian and habanero pepper along with classic ginger beer, and all will surprise and delight. The simple warehouse location keeps a fun flair with a touch of Art Deco design elements and Edison bulbs with ribbons hanging from the ceiling near the production line. Try the pear rosemary or hibiscus lavender brews and visit on small batch Sundays for the latest creations." - MATADOR_NETWORK

Google
Very cool find! This is a great alternative for people who may not like beer. We got two flights, to try all 8 ginger beers. We thoroughly enjoyed all 8…but if we had to pick favorites they would be the Bergamot, Blood Orange and Pink Peppercorn or the Agave Lime. Cool relaxed vibe with plenty of seating and cool merch! A must try when in Asheville!!! 10/10 would HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Google
Great place to visit and enjoy some fantastic ginger beer! It was nice to be able to try flavors you can't get elsewhere. Friendly and helpful staff and great vibes!

Google
Such a cool spot! Love the atmosphere and the flagship and blood orange ginger beers were both amazing! Will become a new regular spot for us. Everyone should meet lil’ Sam. He is the cutest 3-legged fur baby. 💕

Google
Love their beers. All are ginger based and have such a clean and refreshing taste. Been here a couple times and keep coming back. So sorry to hear about the trouble everyone is having with Helene.

Google
First off, I’m very grateful this place doesn’t have those terrible metal bar stools! Lots of comfortable, nice seating and spacious areas. Friendly and attentive staff! Nice menu and nice atmosphere. I do wish it could be a little cooler inside, especially it being summer. It’s a little too warm inside, so bring a mini fan! There was a blue ridge pride event here which was awesome.

Danielle Bentley

Google
All the beer was refreshing. Wonderful people and a great atmosphere. The ginger was strong, but with the flavors you could taste the nice hints of lavender, lemon and agave. We had a wonderful time here. Thank you so much Glenna and Tammy for such a great experience!

Google
I wasn’t blown away as I hoped. I guess I’d call it a brewery but ginger beer probably deserves its own category. I happen to love ginger beer, and theirs were good, but the space was just ok. I was happy they had flights. The ginger beers themselves didn’t have enough differentiation to me to really turn this into a 5. If it had been a more beautiful space or more unique offerings I could’ve gone 5

Google
As someone who has been gluten free for 10 years due to severe reactions to it, I was thrilled to find this place which serves all gluten free beverages and snacks! My husband and I each enjoyed a flight and also picked up several 4 packs to go. I wish I lived closer! Gluten free options are difficult to find and I've had my share of seltzers and ciders. These do not disappoint! I most definitely will be stopping in each time i make it to Asheville!

Pilar G.

Yelp
Greatly enjoyed my time at Ginger's Revenge! I had tried an alcoholic ginger beer from here at the Biltmore a few years ago and was excited to be back in Asheville earlier this year and get to go to the brewery. The brewery decor is no-frills and industrial feeling on the inside. It's clean, comfortable, and they have outdoor seating that is shaded. The staff here are SO nice and made great recommendations for what I had to try. The drinks here are truly amazing and stand out from anything I've tried before. I got a flight and enjoyed every single taster. This is a great spot if you want the brewery experience but are not a beer lover.

Renee C.

Yelp
I cannot wait to get back to Asheville to visit Ginger's Revenge. it's one of my favorite beers, and that's saying a lot for someone who doesn't really fancy beer. But I do enjoy ginger beer, ciders, & stouts. A friend brought me the seasonal dirty chai release and it is so good. The seasonal releases are going to have me booking a flight real soon.

Marissa N.

Yelp
I would come here again for sure. The srinks were wonderful and the music was great. I sometimes get opinionated about children in establishments too late, but that's me, I want to make an age=bedtime sign for fools. The restrooms were clean. The food truck smelled oh so good.

Rich M.

Yelp
If you enjoy ginger beer you'll love this place. They have a nice variety of ginger beers, some of which are seasonal. Service was friendly and our server was more than happy to allow us to try some of their beers before making our selection. Ambience is your typical brewery. No games that we saw only inside.

Maria W.

Yelp
I might have to plan a move to Asheville if I know they incorporate ginger practically into every aspect of food and drink! I love ginger, it is by far my favorite root to consume. I visited based on a recommendation from a local. You know it's the best when a local would give you free recommendations and constantly raved about its fruity and floral flavors. Yum, sign me up. Upon driving up, I wasn't too sure where the brewery was as it shared a parking lot with other businesses, but I figured I was at the right spot as it was after hours and the more industrial look of the building was screaming, "this is it!" I walked inside and was immediately greeted by one of the comedians. I'm not a local so I had no idea that a comedy show was about to take place. I paid at the door, $36 to enter and my friend went to get a flight. Surprisingly, there was just one more seat left and I snagged it. The comedy show was lackluster, but the ciders were on-point delicious. Some were ultra spicy and a few were mellow. None of them got me buzzed. The ambiance was chill and relaxing. I enjoyed myself immensely.

Deborah W.

Yelp
I did not drink in the bar but I love their ginger beers. the Cranberry herb is my favorite but there isn't a variety I don't love. Whole Foods sell several varieties and you can by the others right at the brewery. I'm head back this week for several more! I am so glad they were able to reopen after Helene. Try this ginger beer and you will love it!

Falan E.

Yelp
Hands down the best beer I've ever had. I've only been able to find the brand in my area at Whole Foods and Total Wine. I've also had the original on tap from Bottles & Cans Beer and Wine Shop in Cary, NC. I'm in love with Ginger's Revenge Cranberry Herb beer. I've tried other flavors (hibiscus lavender, original, and lime agave) which are all very good but the Cranberry Herb is my top pick. This alcoholic ginger beer is a game-changer! The naturally gluten-free and the 95% organic ingredients are all the things I have never found for any regular beer brands. Ginger's Revenge is a yes for me!

Tony S.

Yelp
I'd had a tasting flight of their beers before while attending a comedy show at their club location in South Slope, but this time we went to their brewery location near the French Broad River where they produce, package and serve the full selection of their ginger beers. Alcoholic ginger beer (versus the NA version that is used as a cocktail mixer) is not something you find very often anywhere and AFAIK Ginger's is the only craft brewery in Asheville that produces it. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the sweeter selections in my earlier flight, but I liked the agave lime one a lot and have had it at local bars a couple times since then. This time we took one of their brewery tours that that they do one Saturday afternoon a month. It's not a very lengthy tour and their facility is small enough that you don't walk much, but it was interesting because ginger beer is quite different than regular grain-based beers. We had a good tour guide and learned about their process. At the end you get a 13 oz pour of any of their beers, so much of the ticket price for the tour goes towards that. You can take it on the tour with you or wait and have it at the end. We waited because we wanted to have the beer with food from their guest food truck, Mean Mandy's - Plant Food That's Fire (I'll review them separately, but as a spoiler -- the food was really good). The beers we chose were from their seasonal limited production set: dry-hopped passionfruit and black cherry Thai chili. The passionfruit one was fantastic: you could taste the passionfruit but it wasn't overwhelming -- not too sweet and with some hops in this case, which also came through in the backend of the taste. It was a bit like a cross between a cider and a beer. The black cherry chili one was a whole other thing, notes of cherry up front, but then -- be warned -- a really potent kick of hot chilis in the 2nd half of the taste. If you haven't tried ginger beer, you should, and this is a great place to try it.

Yelp
Best place in Asheville!! Come one come all!!! I came just to add pictures because out of all the times here I assumed I've done a review....GUESS NOT! I leave so happy from here I guess I forget haha. Seriously, this is your Ginger Beer Mecca!!!

Shelby D.

Yelp
We discovered this place a few years ago and have happily seen them expand their item options and grow in every sense of the term. From live music, events (like a murder mystery thing, whaaaat!), to food trucks, there's always something for everybody. When we bring the kiddo we get some non alcoholic drinks for them and some snacks, but usually they're too busy looking at the pinball machines try out their micro brews and the cranberry herb...it's the *best*

Dane B.

Yelp
I drove all the way to Asheville to drink at Gingers. It's a small brewery that isn't always available where I live and it was worth it! Can't wait to do it again.

Mike O.

Yelp
We got a Groupon and went with some friends. There were a lot of choices of ginger beer and with the Groupon you got two take home glasses. The ladies working there were super nice. I would recommend coming for a refreshing change from the usual breweries.

John M.

Yelp
A very interesting brewery experience. My daughter has been raving about this place since she vacationed in Asheville. She was right. This staff is very friendly and engaging. The beers are all made of ginger and a combination of other spices. We had a flight of four and each was equally delicious. We brought home the Hibiscus Lavender.

Terri W.

Yelp
I absolutely love ginger in just about any form and this was my first time at Ginger's Revenge so I was really excited. Can I set up a payment plan? You can have Terri everything else on The place is in the lower level of the Buxton Hall/Catawba building, and has a cool industrial vibe. The staff is really nice and very knowledgeable about the products. I ordered the OG- the Original and have to say I really enjoyed it. It was light with a nice ginger spice but not overwhelmingly so. They have a bunch of interesting flavors which I am looking forward to trying like Caramelized Fig and Vanilla and Serrano Lime Agave!

Lauren S.

Yelp
A nice gem in Asheville. Enjoyed all the flavors and even took a 12 pack home back to STL. Very refreshing and well done ginger cider.

Kathy V.

Yelp
Deliciously spicy hard ginger beer! A group of us were out and about in Asheville, looking at art and finding places to drink. We first saw an offering from Ginger's Revenge as a guest tap at Wedge Brewing. I thought that "Ginger's Revenge" was the name of the beer, not the brand. But then the bartender told us it was a local spot with a BUNCH more options, so I immediately checked where it was and how we could get ourselves there ASAP. It wasn't exactly walkable, so we drove on over. It looks like a warehouse from the outside, but there is a decently sized parking lot and when you get inside it is welcoming and stylized. A Yelp check-in gets you a free sticker too, so if you are a sticker slut like I am...don't forget to do that! I did a flight, as usual. I had a hard time narrowing down what I wanted to try, but it turns out the group was keen for sharing, so we all got to try most of the offerings. They go heavy on the ginger in the ginger beer, it has a bite to it. If you don't like that kind of thing...you will not like their offerings. Their flagship flavors are great, but I really liked the Fall Harvest and Lavender offerings the most. We all ended up buying some 4-packs to take home with us. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had a delightful gosh dang time here. I cannot wait to return on my next visit to Asheville!

Amy Lauren S.

Yelp
My husband and I love ginger beer, so when we learned about Ginger's Revenge's alcoholic ginger beer, it was a must-stop in Asheville. The taproom is in a warehouse building, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It is open most afternoons and has plenty of free parking. It's beautiful inside, and I loved the mural on the wall, which is the company mascot, aptly named Ginger. Our "beer-tender" Tammy quickly started our tab and explained the menu, answering our questions. We ordered a flight of blueberry mosaic, lemondrop dry hop, lime agave, and cranberry herb ginger beers to share. Flights are the way to go, because I couldn't decide on just one flavor. While the blueberry mosaic was my favorite, I would order any of those flavors again. I don't think you can go wrong with any flavor of Ginger's Revenge. We purchased several 4-packs to take home, which I recommend, as buying direct helps the independent brewers. My husband and I also bought t-shirts, and I appreciated Tammy searching for an XS shirt for me. If you're into ginger beer or cocktails like Moscow Mules, stop by Ginger's Revenge. It's worth the time and drive.

Erin W.

Yelp
An Ashville favorite, the ginger beer is a nice alternative to regular beer. Today I'm having the Black Cherry Thai Chili and hubby is having the Cranberry Herb. Good flavor on both and the best Thai Chili has a great heat flavor it you like spicy. Will get a growler of the original to take home.

Caci L.

Yelp
This place is so good! The beers are so unique and the staff is so nice. The vibe is really cool too and it's awesome that you can bring dogs inside. 10/10

Marie O.

Yelp
I didn't think this place was going to be a big deal to me, I came to Asheville to try beer, not ginger beer, but, we had friends who wanted to go, and we got a cool Groupon that came with a lot of free stuff. I tried a flight of different kinds of ginger beer, and oh my, LOVED IT. The lime agave, hibiscus lavender, and lemon drop were my favorite. It tasted smooth with a bite and I have to say, also had the added benefit of making my tummy feel pretty good. Try this place, Ginger beer is no joke.

Maria B.

Yelp
These ginger bears are on the lighter side rather than being robust in flavor. My personal favorite was the cranberry herb beer. I feel like it is probably seasonal so hurry in to try it. The tasting room is set up with quaint cozy areas to hang out in. The staff is very knowledgeable about the beers and the community. We like that they come up with new seasonal flavors every time we go back to Asheville and we want to try them all!

Christina W.

Yelp
This is my new favorite brewery in Asheville! I absolutely love anything made with ginger, so ginger beer is already a step ahead. I did a tasting, and my favorites were lavender and the original ginger beer. Both have a pretty strong ginger taste and a nice kick. I came back twice already. If you are in the area, also stop by the chocolate factory/shop a block away. I will definitely be back!

Jennifer D.

Yelp
I was so excited to try it here after having their beer on draft in Charlotte. I was thrilled that it was such a cute place!! Several ginger beers on tap plus they sell crowlers to go. There was also a food truck outside! Loved the atmosphere, tables and couches plus a bar. Servers were super friendly and made great recommendations!

Kandi S.

Yelp
If you like ginger beer, you'll LOVE this place. Awesome staff. Very knowledgeable and friendly

Melanie R.

Yelp
Cute spot for relaxing and enjoying a few ginger beers. I tried a flight of four different ginger beers and they were all very refreshing and enjoyable. We purchased two four packs to take home with us. If you enjoy ginger beer Ginger's Revenge is a great place to try. I loved the vibe of the place, it was chill with low lighting that added to the overall ambiance. My husband and young adult kids loved the place as well.

Hattie S.

Yelp
My daughter brought me here for my 50th. And I feel I'm love with this place and there drinks. I don't get to come by often but I love it every time I do. Most definitely recommend it.

Lily T.

Yelp
No complaints for me here! Friendly service and awesome ginger beer! We got a couple of flights and I can tell you everything we had was absolutely delicious! It made me feel good that I was drinking "healthy" ginger alcohol that was easy on the tummy :D This is definitely a place to come for people who love beer and also for people who don't like beer because some of these beer literally tasted like some yummy cocktails! I'm more of a IPA, all hops kind of girl tho but these ginger beer were still great Just wished they serve some real food to go with those yummy brews!

Erik S.

Yelp
I'm not sure who Ginger is, and why she wants revenge, but thankfully for us her version of vengeance is making alcohol with copious amounts of ginger root added in the fermentation process providing us with a vast array of flavors and deliciousness! My wife and I were on a weekender trip to Asheville during the fall and were in the mood to try a few of the alternative versions of the craft beer scene, which is so robust in Asheville. Our first stop was a cidery, our second stop was here! The place makes great use of a very old warehouse down by the river, I suspect it used to be a timber mill of some kind. On the inside lots of the original elements remain, but modern touches have been added to create not only a large and functional brewing space but also an attractive bar to congregate around! We wanted to try all the things on offer, and ended up getting two flights. Our favorites were the Cucumber Lime Basil Peppermint, Hibiscus Lavender, Lime Agave, and the Fall Harvest. I'm pretty sure my wife would have drank the fall harvest for the rest of her life. It definitely stood out, and she loves those flavors. I personally enjoyed the Pear Rosemary though she wasn't as big a fan of it. We would definitely come back here on our next trip to see what is in season!

Jessica B.

Yelp
Gingers revenge did not initially come up when I was searching for planning the activities that we were going to do for our Asheville trip, we simply saw Ginger's revenge on the way to the French broad chocolate factory tour and tasting. I immediately googled it and was pleased to find an amazing Groupon that included one flight of alcoholic ginger beer, two specialty glasses to take home, and a growler filled with our choice of ginger beer for only $24 . They have a wonderful selection of alcoholic ginger beers, snacks, and on the Saturday afternoon that we were there, they also had a food truck. All of the ginger beers are very ginger forward on the front end of the flavor profile, as one would expect. Our favorite was the pineapple jalapeño flavor, and we did get a growler filled with that flavor to take home with us. It was very dog friendly, and they also had some vendors selling plants and tarot readings.

Sereena J.

Yelp
What a cool place! I love the artwork and how committed the staff is to safety and COVID precautions. They have a super interesting menu with flavor combinations I've never had in a drink before like orange and chocolate or fig and vanilla. We we're stopping in on our way to dinner so I ordered a flight to get the widest exposure to these unique ginger beers while most of the group ordered single pours. My favorites were probably the original and the chocolate and orange ginger beers, but it seems like their menu is regularly changing which is so fun! They also have an online ordering system and food trucks on Sundays in addition to plenty of parking. I would definitely be a regular here if I lived in Asheville!

Valerie L.

Yelp
Some of my favorite ciders. My husband, who is a beer drinker, even likes their ciders. Stopped in today for the first time. Lovely location. Excellent service. And the ciders were amazing! Also, if you get alcohol migraines, theirs don't bother me. Which is always a good thing to know for migraine sufferers. Lovely stop for us. Thank you!

Savannah W.

Yelp
Excellent ginger beers and cocktails, cool vibes, friendly and welcoming team. Definitely recommend.

Janet S.

Yelp
Really cool find! I personally love ginger beer, and wanted to check this place out. We lucked upon a Groupon for two flights, and two growlers! We enjoyed the flights in the taproom, where there was great seating and games! Also awesome artwork! Then got our growlers filled to take with us! I also collect enamel pins and was super excited to get one here, as well as very interesting stickers! Our group of 4 loved trying all the different styles to n a lovely warm October day! Highly recommend!

Rachel S.

Yelp
This was my first visit and I could not have been more impressed! Being new to ginger beer, I was floored by the complexity and variety of the flavors! We ordered 2 flights, which are really large servings, and our favorites were: Cucumber Lime Basil Peppermint, Hibiscus Lavender, Lime Agave, and the Fall Harvest. I wish I had purchased the Fall Harvest to take home--it's incredible! They were also great about COVID safety protocols. Staff stayed masked, sanitized counters between customers, and explained their protocols to us. It's a really large, open space with high ceilings. The tables were well spaced out. I would absolutely visit again!

Mali C.

Yelp
My new favorite beverage spot on south slope!! It's a cozy little space that I imagine cold up fast on a weekend. There are a few pinball machines and a solid variety of ginger based beverages both alcoholic and non alcoholic. The service was great they were super patient with my indecisive self. I highly recommend especially for any fans of ginger.

Mia M.

Yelp
I want Ginger's Revenge to be available in Indiana! It is an amazing product. We had a wonderful time tasting all the ginger beers and brought some home. Now - I want more!

Jeff N.

Yelp
Our tenth brewery stop in Western North Carolina for our recent weekend getaway found us at Ginger's Revenge in Woodfin, just north of downtown Asheville. My lady, who has Celiac, really wanted to come here because the beers they produce are gluten free... like completely gluten free, not just gluten removed, and made with ginger (she likes ginger too). So after galavanting around downtown Asheville for the better part of two days, we made our way over to Ginger's Revenge where we ordered a flight from the bar. Having sampled the dry hopped, fall harvest, blueberry mosaic, and hibiscus lavender, we chose on a four-pack of the latter because that was our favorite. Of course, we had the Lime Agave already from Eluvium in nearby Weaverville, and that was a tasty beverage too, so you can say this was a tie amongst favorites. The location comprises both the taproom with the production area behind the partition where the bar is located. The taproom is l-shaped with the north wall comprising tables and chairs, as well as lounge seating that extends around the bar. It's a nice-looking spot with delicious ginger beer that has a very chill ambiance.

Michael M.

Yelp
Wow! I don't know what to say about this place except it's amazing! I've always loved ginger and ginger ale so naturally being a beer drinker I like ginger beer. I wasn't sure what to expect because I found out about this place through a recommendation but didn't really have much information about it. I decided that when I was up in Asheville for the day So I decided to check it out and I'm so glad I did! They have a lot of great flavors that are crisp, and airy , yet substantial. They have a kick to them but it's not so overbearing as the kill the flavor. The set up is really nice and it's perfect for people to hang out or to even bring your dog. The offer tours and flights to try the beers. Sit back relax, do a little telework, or place of the board games provided and enjoy! They typically have food trucks as well as live music on Friday nights and food trucks on Sunday. If you are coming through, stop by!

Joy X.

Yelp
Four stars for the positive experience and a shout out to Groupon for supporting local businesses and giving me the chance to check them out! I dragged my hubs here & by "we" I mean mostly I drank their Ginger Beer Sampler along with receiving 2 souvenir beer glasses engraved with the business name on it and a growler that I handed off to my mom, so she can make kombucha in it. The 4 Ginger Beer options I selected included The Original, Limited: Citra Dry Hopped, Lime Agave, Hibiscus Lavender and Cranberry Ginger...I got an extra sampler! I thought I'd like Ginger Beer more, hoping it would be more sparkly & bubbly(I drink prosecco like there's no tomorrow!) - def. loved the very earthy flavors of ginger - very prominent. I decided that I still prefer beer...I think it was a really nice experience to try something different, switch it up & and being able to form an opinion about it. I will not turn down new experiences - loved this opportunity!

Katie B.

Yelp
What's a girl to do while visiting a beer-centric city like Asheville? Find a GINGER BEER SPOT! Woohoo! What a great find. You can order a flight of four different beers for $10 ish. What a deal! I was a big fan of their original flavor, but the honey chamomile was lovely as well.

Kelly C.

Yelp
In fairness, we chose this brewery because I liked the logo and because my sister likes ginger beer. It was the furthest spot we traveled to all weekend and definitely worth the drive. We shared a flight and added on two pours so that we could try all of the offerings. My favorites were the Fall Harvest and the Pear Rosemary (both limited, of course), although there wasn't a bad one in the bunch. The brewery is large, easy to find, and is full of great people and dogs. We asked the bartenders for food recommendations and were not disappointed in their suggestions.

Taylor B.

Yelp
If you are a fan of ginger beer, I highly recommend this place! All the flavors are just perfect. The patio is shaded, dog-friendly, and has some games to play. They offer seasonal and year round flavors of ginger beer. Bonus: they do offer flights!

Lori S.

Yelp
We first wandered into Ginger's Revenge two years ago when we flew into Asheville on a spur of the moment trip. We were curious and since we were walking everywhere (there were no cars, or ride services up and running after the lost year called 2020) we tasted everything and then some! Our only regret was that we couldn't take some home with us. When we decided to travel by car to a neighboring state to visit the "fam", the opportunity to cross the mountain for another visit to Ginger's Revenge to take some home made car travel our first choice. Once again, a taste of everything was enjoyed and our driver ( who tasted conservatively) got to choose what went into the case we purchased. Our bartender put our case together and sent us on our way. We're currently chatting on the porch in the mountains, sharing a Lime Agave and looking forward to a hot summer in the mid-Atlantic where we'll introduce a few peeps to our latest tasty finds!

Abby E.

Yelp
I'll preface this by saying we swung by here to pick up a to go order for the night, so though we didn't actually stay/enjoy the atmosphere, I kind of wish we would have! Very dog friendly - they're allowed on leash inside which is nice. Several picnic style tables, some high tops as well inside. Parking right outside the brewery. Great vibe. Check their website for which food truck is there that day/what hours - there was a vegan one there when we stopped. Curbside ordering was super easy - just called and spoke to someone, they told me what 4 packs & growlers they had available that day, then I placed the order and swung by to get it. You can either call their number for curbside service when you get there, or just walk in (mask on) yourself, which I did. Gave my credit card and was on my way in a few minutes with my beer! Taste - awesome for us gluten free junkies. Still tastes like a beer but with a light ginger kick to it. We tried the chocolate orange which was awesome, but my favorite was the original (also liked the lime agave one - tasted like a fresh mule for any mule lovers out there). Remember everything does have to be refrigerated, so make sure you have a cooler if you're stopping by to grab stuff before a long car ride. You can also bring your growler back & they'll only charge you for a fill (the first time they charge you for both the growler & the fill, understandably so... but the growler has a cool imprint on it, so it's worth it in my opinion). TLDR - cool (but quaint) atmosphere, dog friendly, *usually* vegan eats, gluten free beer. Would definitely come back!

Blanca I.

Yelp
Amazing first date with a refreshing & generous flight, growler, & glasses found on Groupon. This place is a MUST visit & the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. This is NOT your typical ginger beer. My fiance and I will be back to refill our growler.SUPERB brew

Holly K.

Yelp
I originally tried out Ginger's Revenge at a Yelp event, when I was back in Asheville with friends I knew I had to add them to the brewery list. I'm not a beer drinker and Asheville is like the king city of beers so I'm always excited about a non-beer option. They also do have a beer list for those friend's who just don't want to branch out. My friends had never heard of alcoholic ginger beer so everyone was pumped to try it out. The spot can be a little tricky to find, just follow the signs, and trust you are headed into the right space! The interior is industrial with a cozy vibe. They have quite a few tables and a decent size bar, the place does fill up! I went with the flight (as did most people in my group) and my standout favorite was the lime agave. It's just freaking delicious, tart with the perfect amount of sweetness from the agave. My least favorite was probably the chamomile, but chamomile in general isn't my favorite so that isn't really a shocker. The price for the flight is super reasonable. I saw this also have flights of their "cocktails" and I'd love to give those a try next time, they all sounded freaking delicious. Ginger's Revenge will be on my to do list every time I visit Asheville, it should be on yours as well!

Yelp
Tried this place out on our recent trip to Asheville. They have a very cool set up inside with art work and a spot for a band. I heard them mention right now the band plays Friday nights only. This spot just as the name offers ginger beers in many varieties and some non alcoholic options. They do also have a good menu but we didn't order any food this time. I got a flight to try the lime agave, hibiscus lavender, pear, and the special release. Now I'm a beer person and in my opinion you can't come here expecting ginger beer to take like your usual craft beers. Think lighter more refreshing with your ginger options. Although not my personal favorite they were good & I think on a hot day or by the pool one of this would be great to compliment the setting. I got a 4 pack of agave lime to take back to a friend that likes cider to see how she likes it. 12.00 for a 4 back a bit $$ but in line with the area. They only had two options in bottles but do also fill growlers. Bottles are just easier for me to drive 600 miles home & keep carbonated.

Yelp
FABULOUS. Okay, first things first, we came here during COVID times. We sat outside; everyone did a great job wearing masks and social distancing. I felt totally safe. Service was excellent. I don't care for beer, so I was excited to try this place. My husband and I each got a flight (mine was the straight ginger beer flight, he had a mixology flight). We both LOVED the Lime Agave. Totally a winner. Very refreshing and light tasting. I also super duper enjoyed the Cranberry Herb. Neither of us cared much for the Hibiscus Lavender. On the mixology side, our favorite was a Blackberry Lemon Mint Shrub mixed with the Original House Ginger Beer. We also liked the Ginger and Grapefruit mixed drink. (blackberry was sweeter, grapefruit tarter, so depending on your mood....mileage will vary). Note that they have some snackies (popcorn, chips, that kind of thing) but no real food. Just a heads up. 5 stars!
