Gin Gin, well, hmmm it's a cool space, and the cocktails are pretty good.
That said, in my one experience there, it's a bit of a shit-show at the Host Stand from around 10pm onward on the weekends. I was seated at a high top table through my reservation around 10. My friend was running late, so I was waiting and had ordered my first cocktail from the head bartender. Much of the staff did not know The Last Word Gin cocktail, but the head bartender of course did.
What was odd, is one of the hosts about 5 minutes later, clearly "wired" asked me to move from my table, and had a couple behind him to which the table was reserved for. Explained, that no, this is not how this works since I had a reservation and clearly had made my presence to the last available table known when I was seated by the other host, given menus, and had a nice long talk with the bar staff. This took excessively long to explain. I'll blame it on my broken Spanglish for now, but it's not something I'd expect from a place like this.
My friend arrived, on Latin time, 20 minutes later and by that point it was a zoo at the Host stand. It took 10 minutes to make it to the table, and they speak Spanish.
We dined on Steak and their Fish of the day and it was good. The space and music were quite nice, but I could not help think that the place was a bit full of itself.
If you are familiar with Stanton Social in NYC I'd say this place is an upscale scene like that, which is cool but a tad contrived. I don't know if I'd return, but it is a scene perhaps worth checking out for yourself.
