Ginopolis Restaurant

Coming from Texas, the ribs were fine, but not to the level I'm used to. The sides were very good as was the dessert. The owner was super nice and a true pleasure to chat with.

Had never tried this place before but it was recommended by a coworker so gave it a shot. Food was great! I had Brisket and ribs combo with sides and was very happy with the portions and taste! 1/2 price appetizers before 7 PM and great atmosphere as well! Owner even stopped by to greet our table and chatted for a bit. My next time in the area, I will put this place as one to return to! Give this place a try and you will not be disappointed!

Went there last week for a funeral reception/wake and was very happy with the service and the food was good. The roast beef and potatoes were excellent but the chicken was dry. That's why I gave 4 stars instead if 5. I asked for a plate to go for my grandma, who was ill, and they brought out all the leftovers packed in bags (like 7 or 8 bags). The whole family got some food to go, which is probably against their rules (hope I don't get anyone in trouble). I'd definitely go back for the great service and that roast beef.

Very nicely decorated restaurant & the food was ever so delicious. Upscale taste & cuisine for a very fair price for the hard-working, attentive staff. This restaurant was perfect for our luncheon for family & friends following the Celebration of Life service we had for our 91-year old mother after her passing. The private banquet room was a very nice setting & a perfect place for an unknown amount of guests to be known in advance as it held, I believe, 30-70 people easily. The funeral director worked directly with the restaurant banquet manager to help with the expectation of luncheon guests as the afternoon progressed at the funeral home as we had plans for a late lunch for 4:00 on a Saturday.

The salad was very good. The main pasta was bland and if you don't want any item in your food, they will not allow it. The bread was good as well. It is a nice place. I am not sure how the other food was exceptional the tilapia. My guest said it easy very good. I don't know if it is new owners, 20 years ago it was great food. The people are very polite, give this place a try if you like privacy and not to be rushed.

First time visit. We eat out often. We were greeted as if they were really pleased we had chosen to dine here. Fantastic service and the fare was exceptional. This will not be our last visit. If you like RIBS, , you will not be sorry. Be sure to check out their wall of noted guests from the past.

Unless you want to be treated like a burden I do not suggest eating here! Good food but pricy for what they offer. Parties 6 and up require an 18% tip which is fine if they treated you like a guest. Who I assumed were the owners were too busy visiting with their friends to acknowledge our concerns. Definitely would not go back !

Older crowd. Good value. Nice selection. All 5 of us were pleased with our selection. My liver could have been hotter. Brisket and ribs were tender and delicious. I would go back.
