"Perched at the edge of Dash Point, this bistro offers unparalleled views of the Sound (and has a shuttle from a nearby church to alleviate parking woes). Sip a Botanist & Tonic and slurp some local oysters followed by surf and turf or Dungeness crab ravioli. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Overall a very excellent place. We visited on a Sunday evening, and could not have had a better experience. The service was great! The food tasted AMAZING, and the views are fantastic! I think everyone at the table really enjoyed what they ordered. I will only speak to the risotto, which is superb! My wife and I will definitely be back, and I will certainly have the risotto again.

Great place to eat food is amazing great atmosphere and view of the sound. Family owned and operated. The owner is visible in the restaurant when he’s not cooking and talks with guests. All the staff is friendly. Second time eating here but is our new favorite place. Thank you for the great food and hospitality.

Me and my wife had a rough day yesterday individually and just wanted to have a nice dinner when we got off work and decompress so we took the bikes out and rode down to the point. Honestly no idea what we were in store for and let me tell you… it was phenomenal. The oysters will probably become a steeple in our monthly routine if not weekly going just to have them, the risotto was beyond expectations and the pasta my wife got was delicious. Services was kind and friendly the atmosphere was very homie the whole family was there and they couldn’t have been nicer or more polite. I will be suggesting this place to all my local friends.

My hostess, server, and bartender Nyah was amazing. She was running the whole front end of the restaurant!!! And she was kicking some butt doing it too. The food and drinks were amazing. The prices were high, but then again everything is expensive here in the Seattle/Tacoma area. The food was so good. I had the wicked prawns and the smoked Salmon fettuccine. Both were excellent. I was even greeted by the owner. I let him know that Nyah deserves a raise to $50 an hour, she earned it. Thank you Nyah for great service. Keep up the good work!

The food and cocktails were excellent and the waitresses very professional. That's where the good review ends. I made a reservation and was asked if this was a special occasion. I said it was my wife's birthday, the first she could celebrate. I expected a special experience based on that question. Instead, we were given a table next to a large, obnoxious table who were so loud I couldn't hear my wife speak. I later discovered that the restaurant has a more quiet, intimate upstairs which wasn't offered despite us arriving early and the upstairs being largely empty. I never saw a manager or owner survey the room and I could see other tables of 2 were equally upset by the obnoxious atmosphere. We were never offered anything to give us an exceptional celebratory experience so why did they bother asking? Although the food and drinks were great, for the prices they charge, there is an expectation of a better ambiance and experience for fine dining prices. If you want good food at a niche location with an expensive bill to impress your date who doesn't know better, go here. If you have experience with proper fine dining experiences offered in the Seattle area, this is a hard pass. I have no interest in spending another occasion here despite the quality food and drinks. The owners don't seem to understand how to offer a complete, unique, and happily memorable experience. I wish I would have chosen a better location for my wife's special night.

Romantic atmosphere and great views of the sound. We had reservations for when they opened so we were seated quickly. Food service was quick as well. We started with the clams and muscles and they were the best I've ever had! Overall the food and dining experience was amazing. I'm glad we had our 1 year anniversary there.

I researched and reserved a table at this restaurant to celebrate my graduation from graduate school. I wanted an intimate restaurant with a view and specifically hoped for Italian food. My family are not extremely wealthy but well enough off that we agreed that spending more than your average restaurant was doable given that it was a special occasion. In looking at the menu online, prices seemed to vary from about $20 for a pasta dish to closer to $100 for lobster or steak. This was exciting to me because that meant there was a wide variety and no one would have to feel guilty about the price of their meal. Unfortunately, my graduation happened to fall on mother's day. When I made the reservation the night before, the server did not mention that there would be a very limited menu available that day due to the holiday. Normally this wouldn't have bothered me too much except as a party of 6, we were forced to spend no less than $40 for an entree per person, with most of the entrees being between $60-$80. In an effort to make me feel better about this, my dad decided to order the most expensive thing on the menu, wagyu beef. "If I'm going to spend a lot I might as well try something I've always wanted to and may never get the chance to again." However, about 45 minutes later, the waitress came out and casually mentioned that they had already ran out of that and were cooking him another cut of meat instead. Our reservation was for 5pm, only one hour after they open for dinner service so it's crazy that they already ran out of the most expensive thing on their menu. I didn't feel this was handled appropriately, at any other restaurant he wouldn't have been able to order it in the first place and second of all, they should have brought out a menu for him to chose a different entree rather than being told he's getting something different. An apology was barely offered. At the end of the day, the portions were quite small and the food was not impressive. I ended up splitting the risotto with my brother out of guilt and we each ended up with about a cup of salty rice each with a few pieces of overcooked seafood. I also found 3 lemon seeds in our risotto that were bitter and unpleasant to bite into. Everyone else said their food was just alright. But when the bill comes to over $600 (forced 20% gratuity) you expect way more than alright. Our waitress never once asked how the food was and I never saw a manager or owner, which at any other high end restaurant I have been to is customary for them to wander the house and check on diners. I would have said some of this in person if given the opportunity. I'm not attempting to leave a horrible review for fun but rather for anyone who is in a similar financial position to my family. I have taken a day to think about this and it is still bothering me and making me feel guilty for wasting my parents money so that is why I decided to say something. On a normal night with a small party when you aren't forced to order from an outrageously priced menu this place might have been better value. But considering the crowded atmosphere and less than impressive service, you might be better off having your special occasion dinner somewhere else. Our meal and experience was worth maybe half of what we paid.

We were visiting from out of town and excited to try Gino’s after seeing rave reviews about the food. We arrived a bit early for our reservation to escape the heat and hoped to enjoy happy hour while we waited. The entryway is quite small, and with a group of five adults, a child, and a baby, we did our best to stay out of the way. Unfortunately, our initial interaction with the hostess (Kiera, I believe) was off-putting. She seemed impatient and unaccommodating, especially as we tried to navigate the space with a stroller and hungry baby. Within the span of just a couple of minutes, I was told (abruptly) not to enter the dining area, not to bring a baby into the bar while retrieving the stroller, and was generally made to feel like a burden. It was stressful and not a welcoming start. Several family members shared similar impressions. Had there been another option nearby, we would have left — and Gino’s would have missed out on a $700 tab between the bar and dinner. That said, we’re glad we stayed because the food was phenomenal. Every dish was delicious, and Kiera, who ended up being our server, was actually great once we were seated. Whether she was overwhelmed or realized we were uncomfortable, the service improved significantly. In short: 5 stars for the food, but our initial experience with hospitality left much to be desired. A little more warmth and flexibility, especially for families, would go a long way in matching the quality of the kitchen.
