Everything was so good, we ordered take out twice while in town!! That ice cream though… I can’t wait to be in the area again, would definitely recommend and return.

First time I ever visited, for a small Christmas party. Wish I could have taken a photo, the fettuccine was so good, the blackened tiger shrimp was AMAZING, the tiramisu... oh my god yum. We had bruchetta (just ok), moz sticks, fried zucchini. Husband got spaghetti bolognese with meatballs, loved it. Our waitress was super sweet and did all she could for us. Will be going back for sure!

Nice size restaurant. Friendly service. Clean and good prices. Large portion. Great for family and Date night. Drink special .

The BEST Italian food in AV, one of the best in LA County without a doubt!! Daily fresh made sauces and ingredients! So delicious! I have been sampling the menu here for a year and am still so excited to try new dishes that I may normally never order somewhere else! The vodka sauce is addicting, the marina is so full of flavor and sweetness, the prawns are cooked perfectly, the pasta is cooked Perfectly! Best pizza in AV The staff here are like a family and the love can be tasted in the food. This is a higher end restaurant with a pristine and professional setting, but the prices are Very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Very nice (calm) live music to dine to on weekend nights (not sure about the schedule) but if you get lucky - Enjoy! Gino’s is a hidden treasure that is producing fantastic Italian food and service. You would be remiss to not discover this spot.

In town for work and I was told to try Gino's. I typically try to hit up any local spots especially if recommended. Unfortunately my experience was less than acceptable. Upon arrival I had hope as I was greeted promptly and the atmosphere was pleasant. It started to disappoint after I was seated. A couple near me was very loud and thier conversation was littered with obscenities, this was short lived though as they left prior to my server arriving. I ordered the Lasagna with a Ceasar salad, a glass of water and a coke. My server was Micheal, and he was great. He told that he would bring some bread and went to put in my order. Shortly later I was presented with a good fresh Caesar salad, but the bread was substandard and the water had a strange aftertaste. It only got worse, when my Lasagna arrived, it had a weird brown top that I thought was just a trick of the light or a little over cooking in the oven?? It wasn't, the bottom of the Lasagna was literally burnt to the bottom of the dish, it was greasy and the Lasagna noodles were so tough I couldn't cut them with a fork. It seemed like it was likely an old portion from the back of the walking fridge or something. I informed my server and he was very apologetic. He removed it from my bill but I was to turned off to order something else( first impressions you know) I would hope that this is not consistent though the table behind me was advised there food was delayed due to being burnt as well. Sadly I can't recommended this place. As good as my server was, honestly he should have never delivered that plate to my table.

Delicious dinner and fun family time. I gave it a 4 because we had to repeat requests for refills. We were a large group and I think a 2nd server would have helped. Pianist played a variety of fun songs. It was a bit loud because we were right next to the stage, but we enjoyed playing Name That Tune and singing along.

We were seated quickly but it took the waiter about 15 minutes to come to our table. She didn't come to check on us throughout our meal. We will definitely never be going back.

As a full blooded Italian whoop grew up on mom's coming I highly recommend their food! The portions are very generous, the garlic bread comes with the meal and they get the hardest part of Italian food right. Exceptional sauce! I've eastern here several times and have sampled every pasta and many of their sandwiches. I've never beeen disappointed! It is really hard to find really good Italian food. Thankfully we have Gino's here!

Solid lunch spot in Palmdale to go. Gino's is a AV staple and for what it does, they do a great job. This is family style American Italian. Nothing pretentious or trying to be extravagant. The dishes are traditional, the portions are large, everything is fresh. Most times I get the antipasto salad but today I went for the steak special (great deal for 20 bucks!) and had chicken Alfredo. Everything comes out quick too. Dining room is comfortable and air conditioning in today's climate is excellent!

This review is only for their pizza! They were super busy when I got there to pick up my order so maybe their other dishes are more special than their pizza. I expected a better crust & better cheese with fresh ingredients, especially for the price; but honestly it tasted like a super basic pizza that you can get a chain pizza place like dominoes. Also the wait is long to get your food. The workers were nice and attentive

Gino's Italian Restaurant 2 thumbs DOWN. I ordered an X Large pizza with Pepperoni, Bacon & Jalapeño & I got a 14 inch pizza as an X Large with Pepperoni, Ham / Canadian Bacon & Jalapeño. $31 for a large 3 topping pizza? First, only & last time to this place. The crust had not good either. I would much rather buy 7-11 pizza over this place. The ham tastes like if it were imitation ham, shut I'd prefer SPAM over this so called Bacon.

The food was delicious and the environment was enjoyable. Our server was quite friendly.

This restaurant came recommended by a few people I know. I was in a group of 12 and the waitstaff were very accommodating. The restaurant is large and tastefully decorated. I felt very comfortable in their dining room and that made for a good dining experience. The lunch menu is huge. It was hard to choose since everything seemed appetizing. I ordered the eight ounce sirloin steak with Tuscan potatoes and asparagus from their special lunch menu. I also had a side salad for an additional cost. The portions are large for lunch. The steak was a baseball cut sirloin which I ordered medium rare. It came out rare to medium rare which is good. The steak was seasoned well and flavorful but could have been more tender as it was slightly chewy. The side salad was fresh with a topping of grated cheese. It came with balsamic vinegar only as the dressing. This was sharply acidic without an oil to temper the vinegar. The Tuscan potatoes were very rosemary forward in seasoning and needed a good sprinkling of salt to balance the flavors. The asparagus were slightly over in cook time but okay flavor wise. All in all, I still felt I had an adequate, satisfying lunch despite the flaws. The price point for the steak meal was a good value at $19.95. The garlic bread, however, was excellent and came with dishes of bolognese and marinara sauces for dipping. Both sauces were flavorful and definitely would be good over pasta. The garlic bread is the winner here. This restaurant is worth another visit if I am in the area again. The waitstaff provided friendly and efficient exemplary service.

Came here for my cousin's graduation luncheon. They serve you first time around, but then it's pretty much open table as soon as everybody eats. I had chicken Parmesan beef lasagna, and an Alfredo veggie dish. The Alfredo sauce was the best as it was vegetarian and had good flavor and pasta was cooked perfectly. The lasagna was very dry. I didn't even finish it. Chicken Parmesan was very good. Decently size and the sauce had great flavor as well. Lemonade was perfectly sweetened. Not overly abundant with sugar, but just enough. The garlic bread was a little bit harder than I would like, but not too bad

Food was great service as well first time ordering from there my new place for pizza . Know I have to dine in to experience the rest of the food it was really yummy

This place is freakin gross PERIOD! If you don't believe me feel free to go waste your money. And please leave a review. Tell me why a meatball sandwich has a hint of fish flavor? Seriously too many things wrong with this place. You're way better off going to frescos ll

My favorite dish here is the meat ravioli's, but they're not featured on their delivery apps- so, I called Gino's and Carson answered!! Apologies if I spelt her name wrong, but she is FAB! Told me to sub a cheese ravioli and make a note. I get it, this may seem simple, but she is soooo nice; especially navigating the apps and delivery service. She even confirmed my substitution by phone. Love this place, and am thankful for Carsen's help. Two different spellings, one may be correct.

Terrible terrible terrible service. Came here on a Friday night, not that busy. Seated right away and were told our waiter would be right with us with water and garlic bread. 10-minutes later she shows us with literally nothing. Took our drink order and left. 10 minutes later, drinks arrived and took our order. 15 minutes later the food arrives and I had asked her for some Parmesan cheese for my daughter spaghetti...and then she's gone. Not for 5 minute, not for 10 minutes, or for 15 minutes, for about 20. I had to ask another waiter for boxes and then as I got up to go ask the receptionist for not check lo and behold our waitress shows up. I confront her about disappearing and she snarlingly and rudely said she had another party in the other section. Mind you, 20- minutes without the cheese and drink refills. She had a very bad attitude. As for the food, my plate was good, but my wife complained the chicken was tough...but since our waitress disappeared we couldn't address it. All of the other tables around us had wait staff waiting on them left and right. We are extremely disappointed and will likely not be back. The waitresses attitude was by far the most disrespectful and inappropriate thing I have encounters at a restaurant in a long time. Oh, and we never got the Parmesan cheese we asked for.

We visited on Tuesday evening for dinner with a party of four and it was a very nice experience. We arrive and were immediately seated in a spacious booth, and drink orders were taken. We started with a Caesars Salad, Calamari, and the complimentary garlic bread. All were well prepared and tasty. From there we went with entrees; Rotelli Rustica, Chicken Pancetta, Lasagna, and Linguini with Spicy Blackened Shrimp. The meals were delicious with very large portions. The linguini could have used a couple more shrimp. The highlight was the service. Michelle was friendly, prompt, and professional. You could not ask for more in a server, give her a raise! Overall, an excellent place for Italian fare.

We held a memorial service in Ginos private room. The food and service were outstanding. Highly recommend.

Food and service was great. I feel badly for this place because the food and service is so good, but their location is not very good. The area is run down and there were homeless around the parking lot. Which made me feel unsafe. The appearance of the restaurant inside is very nice, but from the outside it doesn't look inviting. It must be hard to compete with Olive Garden, since both offer Italian food. However, this restaurant offers a different type of Italian homemade food just like the owner's "nonno"used to make.

Olman gave phenomenal service! The food was delicious! The restaurant is family friendly and gives an authentic Italian vibe, the ambiance is warm and welcoming. This is by far probably one of the best restaurants in the AV! Highly recommend.

Stopped in for late lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Super clean and well maintained. Service was great and food was very flavorful.

My family has been eating at Gino's for decades! I moved away and recently came home to visit. Of course the first thing I want to do is visit Gino's! So I went with my family for lunch today, 2/17/24 at 12pm. Our waitress was great. The food was good. Unfortunately, one waitress who was the server for the table behind us, ruined the experience. Suddenly in the middle of lunch the waitress yells "use your words" speaking to a young lady at the table behind us. The waitress went on and on and on about her rant to the family. She was loud. Unprofessional. And such a bad look for the establishment with how she was dressed, how she carried herself, and especially with her bull hook looking nose ring (septum piercing). Further more, the ambiance has really gone down hill. The wine has gone down hill too, they used to have such a fine collection of wine to buy from. The women's bathroom looked pretty rough. So sad. This used to be the place to go back in the day. I guess as the Antelope Valley continues to go down hill, so goes some of the best restaurants with it. It's all really too bad. Save your time and visit the Gino's in Lancaster. Sincerely, A very disappointed loyal Gino's customer.

Had a retirement celebration in the banquet room. Staff was amazing, food was hot and ready when we asked. Decorations were beautiful! It was a perfect night highly recommen!

My family has been going to Gino's (started at the original location on Challenger) since I was in elementary school. I now have a 16 year old daughter and Gino's is still a family fave! Great food, great people, great value. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The bruschetta appetizer and carbonara pasta are 2 of my fave dishes. Don't sleep on this place. Support local!

Very good food, however, I must have chosen the wrong night to dine there. They have a long history in the Antelope Valley but tonight they more than missed the mark. The hostess seated both of us at a table where we sat and sat and sat some more. With apologies, after waiting approximately 25 minutes, the hostess brought us some water and garlic bread assuring us that our server would be there shortly. Ten minutes or so passed as we nibbled on the delicious warm garlic bread and our server appeared and apologized for the wait. We immediately placed our order for two cocktails, an appetizer and an entre to share. Next we received one of the two cocktails and was asked about what brand we wanted for the second one. Later the appetizer arrived and I waited patiently for my cocktail which eventually arrived. We finally were served our entre which was more than excellent, the Chicken Pancetta. We finished what we could eat and waited to secure the bill so we could leave. We were finally successful in getting the bill but having the opportunity to pay was another issue and finally, exhausted, and tired I went to the cashier to pay. The server was there and handled the transaction. I felt bad for her as she was given a large table in a private room with a bunch of people who wanted separate checks. None the less, that wasn't my problem but the restaurant's issue. In frustration I asked if there was a manager to speak with and was advised in concert, by several employees, that there wasn't a manager there and that they were not allowed to give out his information. I didn't ask for his personal number and was surprised that his name and the phone number of the restaurant were carefully guarded secrets. Eventually one of the other servers intervened and offered to allow me to talk to the manager of the kitchen who later sent word that he wasn't able to offer any compensation. I never asked for anything. I really just wanted to be sure that management was aware of the failure of the staff to see that there was a problem in the service and find out where the issue was. I left after the hostess announced that she didn't know what the problem was that I was complaining about. That comment was beyond insulting as she had personally witnessed the delay and intervened and attempted to mitigate the wait by pouring two glasses of water. Frustrated I left after explaining that I wasn't looking for any type of compensation. I was well aware of the reputation of the restaurant including their history with Barone's and didn't want to leave the place without letting someone know of the failure this evening. Please note, I paid my bill in full, I left approximately 22% gratuity for the server and simply wanted the restaurant to step up to the plate and acknowledge an issue that certainly needed not to be repeated. The food is excellent but tonight was certainly not indicative of the reputation that has kept them in business in this community for years.

Gino's is always fantastic dining. From the exceptional service to the delightfully delicious food, Gino's is the perfect place for a fantastic dining experience. Their bruschetta is always fresh, and abolsolute devine. The family size antipasto salad with their homemade Italian dressing is by far one of my favorite salads in the Antelope Valley. My girls love their bolognes e, my husband is all about the canzone, and for me it's the eggplant parmeasan. The restaurant has a calming, romantic ambiance with comfortable booths. There aren't enough words to truly express what a gem this establishment is.

I love this place so close to house , super friendly bartender and great food If you want try real grandma style Italian food this is the place highly recommended pizzazz and for Italian restaurant they have really good Irish whiskey collection

Finally got the opportunity to try this little hidden gem. The inside is very nice and elegant. Perfect for a date night. We ordered take out so I didn't get to interact much with the employees. Food was delicious. Portions were BIG! My husband ordered the steak with potatoes, tiger shrimp and asparagus. I ordered the calzone. Oh my when I saw it I was so shocked. It was huge! We definitely had left overs. Can't wait to go back and actually dine in.

Our Italian family had our Christmas lunch at Ginos, best choice ever, Anthony our waiter was the best, the menu was awesome so many choices, glad we went, I really think this is our go to restaurant from now on Thank you Ginos.

My Compliments to the chef including all the employees! I have been craving good Italian food! Everything I ordered woke up my pallet! Extremely impressed with the excellent food! I have been searching to meet my cravings and Gino's did it! Door Dash made sure it was delivered hot as if I was there at therestaurant. I hope this review brings you blessings & more customers.

I had major surgery on Fri. On Sat, I was released from the hospital. My son ordered 2 plates of sausage/rotelli, 2 lasagnas and the garlic bread. He had it delivered w/grubhub. I couldn't figure out why it was so much $ until I looked at the receipt. The lasagnas weren't included in the delivery. I called Ginos and mind you I was in extreme pain. I asked if Grubhub forgot the lasagna? They said, no, we have it here.We forgot to give it to them. I said, can you have that delivered. They said no. I asked why and they said, because you have to pick it up now. I said, I am in excruciating pain and I can't drive. Anthony, the owner said there's nothing I can do about that. I said, can you have grubhub, deliver it? He said nope can't do that. You have to cancel or pick it up. I said it's not my grubhub. I don't know how to do this. I'm in pain. He said, I don't know what to tell you. I said this is effing ridiculous. He said, oh, you want a curse you don't get anything and hung up on me. Very rude! I didn't even want Ginos Every time I eat there the food is horrible including this time. I only took a small bite. Really my son didn't realize I was supposed to eat bland. To Anthony, Learn some manners, to be humble, and some kindness. And from what italian to another supposed italian... Learn to cook italian food properly. This stuff was horrible. I am very disappointed. My son called and took care of the grubhub problem. He then ordered Panera. I will be putting this on every review for Ginos.

This was my third time eating here and each time I have come, I have left satisfied. The portions are filling and the food is tasty. They give delicious garlic bread to start with. The service has always been good. Every waiter we have ever had has been friendly and nice. If you sit on the left side of the restaurant as you walk in, the vibes are so cozy and relaxing and warm. This time we tried the meatball appetizer which came with three large meatballs, along with the baked penne and cheese manicotti baked. The cheese manicotti baked was tasty. Unfortunately they were out of the lasagna but they have plenty of other options.

Gino's is the bomb. Why? Because I called around to many place and they all had 15min till closing and wouldn't take my order that by the time I called Gino's I had 3min till closing. I want to thank Alexa and whoever the chef was tonight for their outstanding service. The restaurant is so cute and beautiful. These people know customer service. Best fettuccine I've ordered. I ordered it from a picture I saw because I saw the flavor. Calamari was also the best soft and not chewy. Delizioso!!! Grazie

Service was terrible. It took about 45 minutes to get two salads, and then on top of that, the server took care of a table behind us, passing by multiple times without even checking in on us at all whilst we had two entrees we didn't like or didn't look appetizing, which you'd assume would be a red flag.

Ordered pizzas , paid extra for anchovies , but no anchovies. Order at least 3 times a month from this place, hope it doesn't happen again

They CONSISTENTLY don't deliver parts of your order when you order online for delivery. When confronted with it, they can "add you to a list" when you come into the restaurant. The food here used to be great. They were the best Italian in the AV. They have just gone completely to shit over the years. The guy who runs the place, whom I assume is the son of the gal who used always be there, just sucks as a manager. To shit on customers all the time is never a good business plan. Don't bother telling him though. He's a total burnout who doesn't give a shit. Just sell the place and move on. Get someone in there who isn't just collecting a paycheck.

The food was amazing! The service over the top and the atmosphere was impeccable! We were there for my daughter and her husband's rehearsal dinner prior to their wedding. Outstanding!

Our server Sacha was so rude. When I asked a question she would say if you let me finish my sentence ... this happened twice. She's on a totally level of bad customer service. The food is okay. Their white sauced pastas are so oily if you reheat it in the microwave it will produce a huge amount of oil. Next time I will order the spaghetti and meatballs which has very little if no oil. Serving size portions are large. Garlic bread 5 star and is free. Their house water is faucet water and taste horrible we had to buy 3 bottles of imported water at $20

One of my all time favorite restaurants! Everything is great from the salad and breadsticks, to any entrée I pick.

Only have had delivery have not experienced inside dining Pizza is on the thick side but good amount of cheese and good taste! Cheese ravioli is awesome. Pasta sauce is nice and flavorful

De Ann was off tonight, and I miss her, but Kristin, the other half of Team Awesome, took care of me. Gino's, please, please keep these two beautiful people happy and behind the bar. I pray management realizes what gems they have in these two. Kristin is on top of her game with the old fashioned charm (see what I did there) and De Ann makes everyone feel as if they're part of the family. And then there's Olman . Keep your crew happy. Pay them well. Keep them on staff and let their light shine!!!

I ordered a pizza, side salad and the a pasta dish. I thought the pizza was a little undercooked. It needed maybe 5 more minutes. The salad was good. Garbanzo beans and other good accompaniments. The pasta was sweet somehow or another. Sort of odd I suppose, I would think. Had to flag down the waitress to get water refilled at least once. Pretty nice ambiance.

Nice place. Looks like they used to have a great outdoor section but not used anymore. They have a party room that someone was using. I ordered a pizza pie to go and took about 20 min. They were busy. Sat down at the bar to have a drink while waiting. Took a little time to get. The place inside is nice and roomy.

Solid 3.5 stars. I ordered the rustics pasta with sausage and peppers. The flavor of the sauce could have used a touch more salt and spice, but the portion was so generous that I'll have leftovers for the next day. Kind and warm atmosphere. The staff are so sweet and welcoming.

I really don't mind paying alot for good food but the pizza was so covered in pepperoni I asked if my husband ordered extra he saud no all the pepperoni made the pizza so salty too salty mind you greasy pizza is ok but this was salty and greasy no!! EXPENSIVE!! Sams club pizza is better

Decent Italian food. Fettuccine Alfredo my wife got was amazing. My lasagna was ok, maybe I'm not used to authentic Italian food but I would return if I am in the area. Customer service was GREAT!

Everything we got was amazing!! The service was on point and it was very pleasant to have a meal here. The only items we did not get pictured was the garlic bread (which was free) and the Italian sausage and peppers on the appetizer menu also the blackened shrimp on the appetizer menu and the cheese ravioli w Alfredo sauce and also the bruschetta bread on the appetizer menu. Bruschetta was really fresh, I loved it. Philly cheesesteaks was surprisingly soo good, the bread was so soft The blackened shrimp was a new try and it was soo good, it came w a few fat pieces of shrimp w an Alfredo dip sauce w lemon juice. Manicotti was also new try and I'm happy w my choice I wanted something new. Tortellini pancetta has been a favorite in our house, it's so good every time.

The homemade lasagna and bread is incredible. Plus the staff is very friendly and incredible at making you feel at home. Their decor makes you feel like you are in Italy. The atmosphere makes taking my wife out to dinner very romantic.

Great food. Classy, just how I remembered it. The service was friendly and efficient! I think the first time i came to Gino's was in 2004!? Woah!!
