We made an order on the official Yelp App, our food was delivered exactly at 9:23pm as promised. The delivery man was incredibly sweet, we enjoyed him. I was sooo hungry and wanted food delivered to the house. My friend insisted Sushi. I started off with the dynamite ($9.00) as my main appetizer, it was not wowing me for some damn reason. I wish I could remember where I had the ultimate dynamite who stole my heart. I'll have to look more into that. However, ever since ordering it, I have developed some strong worth on it, some high expectations for sure. The cheese Rangoon ($4.50 for both.), we ordered two of those. Super creamy and good. I loved it. I got the mango roll, (12.00) the mango roll never disappoints, but immediately, my friend and I felt somewhat uncomfortable with the taste. It didn't taste as fresh, the mango was slightly off-- I can't put my finger on it. The California roll ($4.50) was boring, I have no idea why my friend ordered that to begin with. Well I had some of that, and it was very plain. I noticed from our order description that we just got the regular, so nothing too exciting.
The Salmon Carpaccio ($10.00) was indeed delicious and mildly spicy. Super exciting and very much desired for next time we order. My friend ordered 2 pcs of the Yakitori so I can't really judge on it. He seemed to have enjoyed it.
We had the tempura combination (Shrimp Tempura $7.00) and it was decent, I only had the coconut and my friend had the rest. It was just as I expected it.
My dessert was a disappointment because it was falling apart and they didn't drizzle any chocolate or whipped cream and they usually do that. There was this weird little white decor on the bottom that made it hard for my fork to grab on. It was just not as pleasant.
Our food made me feel mildly sick after a while. I didn't feel like my tummy felt settled. Overall, still a place to consider if I wanna order from them again.
I'm just going to expect differently next time. Hopefully I'll enjoy it the second time around.
