Lovely restaurant, great for special occasions, with delicious food and drinks! Staff were very nice also, quick service and very attentive. Definitely recommend visiting! P.S. thank you to Blade for looking after us during our visit 💖

So finally got to try this place and I honestly was confused with how I would rate it. On one hand, the food was really delicious (yet very pricey) and everything was presented in a really classy and elegant way. On the other hand, I was disappointed with the fact that many things were not available (pasta dish, wine, etc) which is strange seeing that the menu is very limited. In addition, the service was ok and I would have expected much more attentiveness for the price of what you pay. What was also upsetting is that we couldn’t try the wine before ordering a bottle even though they offered the same wine by glass. Overall, I enjoyed my night however I’m not sure if I would come here again when thinking about the combination of food quality, service, and price.

Great food horrible service. The blond waitress was condescending and rude, she even poured my glass of water on the table in front of me. She complained about dividing the bill between 5 people and then proceeded to mistreat us with words and body language while charging the bill. Honestly, wouldn’t recommend paying this price and be treated this way, for this, better go to the deli and at least be treated with respect

I was expecting much much more from Gioia, looking at the menu and the very beautiful setting of the restaurant interior. It was a very strange experience in terms of service. which was slow and at times chaotic, poorly staffed for an evening on a Friday night. The menu is a good selection, and yet quite a few dishes were not available. The wines by the glass were not available (or rather they didn’t want to offer) to taste before order, and many options of wines by the bottle were not available either. Some of the spirits were also not available. Whiskey was served with the ice that was almost melted…. The food was very tasty, I give them that. But for the price you pay, unless you are coming here for a business meal on an expense account, it is simply not worth it. Most of the things I wanted were not available, service mediocre - and price doesn’t match the quality.

Restaurant of quite fusion Italian cuisine, portions have very creative look, but not big size. We had menu a la carte, but friends told us about sets to try more dishes- unfortunately we were not offered. Maybe not available for dinner. Risotto was good, no olives in menu but we were served

The Italian name directly translates to ‘absolute joy’ and that’s precisely what you receive from the moment you walk into the coral-coloured decor. The staff is incredibly friendly, the service is fast on even the most busiest evenings and the food/menu is choicefully curated to meet the standards of Italian fine dining. Must try if you’re in the neighborhood or not!

I went there a couple of times now and I am still amazed by the quality of food. The service is very good and the staff very welcoming and attentive. Portions are smaller but (for me) perfect for a lunch. Prices are high but not unreasonably high. All in all, worth the experience.

I am regular there. Simply the best Italian restaurant in Brussels, and to say that about a city that is full of Italian restaurants is not an easy feat. Their food is an exquisite reminiscence of grandma's cooking, accompanied by a smiley service, a pro, upper class, but non pretentious atmosphere at lunch time and more romantic and informal at dinner. Marvelous garden esplanade and extremely central. I think they are underrated because they are in that space between the mid-range and Michelin star cuisine, but they taste too much like you just got home and your mum had dinner ready for you to get a star or a 20 in G&M. Oh, and the menu changes monthly or so... All the more reasons to return regularly.

A great option if you are interested into authentic hand-made pasta and stylish Italian cocktails mixed straight from Como! The atmosphere is quite elegant too.
