Even if you're just passing through Chicago, I highly recommend getting a deep dish pizza here. Even if you're not a fanatic about pizza, the quality of this food will surely please you. The friend who I was visiting, a resident of Chicago took, me to this place saying it was the best deep dish pizza and a must try. Not only was it extremely tasty, but the service was wonderful. Everyone that came to talk to us as we waited for our pie to be made was incredibly hospitable, clearly making sure we had the best possible experience with them. They also seem like they have a lot of experience making pizza and that is very respectable. From the time you walk in the door and order it's only about a 30 minute wait before you'll get your pizza. Some stuffier restaurants will take that long or more just to take your order. When I come back to Chicago next time, this will once again be the first place I want to eat. Thanks so much for the cookie James :)

Diane was our server, great service. Second time having Giordano’s in Chicago and it was great again. The deep dish is extremely filling while also not being too heavy. This specific location isn’t too busy as it’s smaller, but the quality is the same with better service than the larger locations. Another note: the restrooms are for customers only.

The food was absolutely exceptional and delicious. I highly recommend the Bruschetta, the best in town! My favorite Giordano's in all of Chicagoland. The staff were very attentive, kind, genuine, and down to earth. Can't say enough good about this restaurant experience. Thank you

A pizza pie, whats not to love. I have a huge hunger and my appetite was satisfied. I was warned that this is too much food for one person and they were right. Great service, bottomless drinks, no queues and pizza to live by.

Loved the deep dish pizza. We tried the vegetable deep dish, spinach and olives deep dish and thin crust pizzas. But the wait times are insane, 45 minutes after you place an order for deep dish pizza. It shouldn't be called fast food LoL

Excellent pizza. Fresh ingredients. Stuffed with all kinds of meats and veggies. Thick quality cheese and not salty. Pizza is made to perfection. Plenty of choices to choose from. The manager, Ms. Monssi, was very hospitable & professional. Plenty of parking space.

We had the best experience here!! Absolutely delicious salad and the deep dish pizza….oh my goodness so devine!! We ordered the Super Veggie then added meatballs, sausage and bacon, and it was soooooooo good!!! But above all the good food, it was the service that made this such a great experience. Lupe was our server, and she was absolutely brilliant! She made feel welcome, wanted, and special. A great example of really super customer care. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli for takeout, I also asked them to include sauceless meatballs on the side for the order and paid extra for it. The order came out to almost $35 and they completely messed it up. I received plain Alfredo noodles (my chicken and broccoli were nowhere to be seen) and my meatballs were drenched in red sauce. Never ordering from this overpriced dump again.

I love the pizza, lunch specials and friendliness! Fresh pizza made to order and lunch eat in is wonderful! Great staff plus free parking Always my go to when I crave a thin crust especially! Pizza with minestrone or salad, my friend loves their Italian beef too!

We got a thin crust pepperoni - which felt undercooked. Stuffed broccoli - the broccoli was mushy but the pizza was just barely cooked. And an appetizer medley - the cheese bread has parm so is sharp tasting, the chicken was good, the mot triangle was fine, and the bruschetta was also fine. We ordered in advance for a timed pickup and we were there a few minutes early and it had obviously been on the warmer for quite a while. Might be better in person.

We ordered a plain deep dish pizza. The 2-3 person size was more than enough for my boyfriend and I. The price was decent and the service was good. We parked nearby and it was a quick 25 minute walk to wrigley field. Because it was a slow day the waiter let us order and go for a walk while it cooked. Be aware it does take 35 minutes to cook the pizza so plan to wait awhile.

I'm not a deep dish pizza lover so my expectations were low. I even ordered myself a thin crust pizza. BIG MISTAKE! I loved the Chicago style. The sauce and toppings were so flavorful and the crust was superb. I hope you enjoy the cheese pull as much as we did. We also ordered 3 different salads and they were amazing as well!

Went to order online and got a notification that, so they wouldn't have to raise their menu prices, they have implemented a flat 3% fee on your total bill. This, to offset rising costs and insurance. Do they think we're stupid? I don't care where you put the fee increase - whether it's on the menu or whether it's the last line on my tab. Bottom line is, you just increased your prices by 3%. And you're trying to do it in a sneaky way. EJECT! But, if you still want to order from there, call them directly and request that the 3% be removed. Apparently that labor intensive process will allow you to remove the fee, but the self service option of ordering online does not give you that option.

I've been going here 20 years!!!!!!! The lady/manager who knows me well in the evenings wants to charge me for a side tiny cup of jardinare.. I said are you crazy., I've been buying here for 20 years And she insisted. This is what great customers get.. No No way

Very tasty signature Chicago Italian pizza. There were a couple of drawbacks, the cafe was very cold and the pizza took a long time to cook. But when we ate the pizza, we immediately realized that the pros outweighed the cons. The staff was polite and friendly. There were plenty of tables.

Ordered late night delivery well before they closed...delivery driver assured me multiple times they delivered to the right address despite me telling them my food was not there. I had to call the store 3 separate times before getting an answer that the delivery driver had actually messed up and I would not be getting my food that evening. Beyond disappointing considering this was my husband's only chance to get deep dish before we left. Allegedly I will be getting my money back. Hope whoever stole my pizza enjoys it!

Went here two weeks ago on Friday night and decided to go across the street to drop off a piece of mail while waiting for the rest of my party to arrive for dinner. Despite the fact that I was going to be eating dinner at Giordano's and would have been a customer, they booted my car and gave me a $175 ticket. The sign indicates the parking was for customers, which I was, and even after talking to the manager she said there was nothing she could do. Management was unhelpful and because I had to pay $175 to get my car unbooted, we ate dinner at home because 1. It felt like gross extortion 2. That was well beyond my dinner budget that I just blew on the car. Would never go back to this location and a huge huge bummer that management here has decided to not only ruin their relationship with customer by privileging a private booting company but they have also ruined their relationship with businesses across the street as I imagine most of their patrons are the ones being penalized for parking in the lot. Management reached out expressing concern over my experience and asking for feedback. They were responsive to my first email and have not followed up in the 2.5 weeks since we began correspondence. The initial interaction at the location was disappointing, but their lack of follow through communicates how much their care about the customer service. I think you could get better pizza and have a better experience just about anywhere. Would not recommend coming here- go to Lou's instead.

$5 for not more fries is ridiculous. I ordered my food online for order for pick up and this is terrible portion of fries for $5 they should be $2.50.

Knowing tonight would be crazy with all the heart-shaped pizza action, I ordered my pizza online at 1 pm and chose a delivery time of 5:30 pm. When my pizza hadn't arrived by 6 pm, I called the restaurant. I was told that there was no way to guarantee a delivery time ahead of time because there was no way of knowing how busy they'd actually be AT THAT TIME. They COULD tell me my pizza was on the road, but NOT an ETA. WHAT!?! WHY!?! And tell me why the hell scheduling a delivery is even an option on the website!?! Or if it's not an option on a holiday, post that update! The pizza arrived at 6:40 pm. I just don't get how a pizza place can't handle pizza deliveries. This is not their first customer service offense, but it will be the last time we order from them.

Can never go wrong with a visit to Giordanos! Delicious pizza, LOVE the lemon vinaigrette salad dressing. Classic buffalo and bbq taste to the boneless wings.

I was randomly craving deep dish pizza and hopped on the Giordano's website because I know it'll be good. We got matched with this location from the online portal and I must admit the pizza was tasty. Normally the pizza is kind of bland and can be doughy from other locations but everything was tasty. It was recommended that if you are ordering the deep dish for delivery you should get it uncut. I normally get cut because I want to grab it out the box right as it arrives but it was a great suggestion. The pizza actually travelled better, the sauce on the lid was after I looked at the pizza not from delivery, the pizza maintained its heat much better. The pizza came a little before the estimated delivery window so that is a huge plus! The delivery driver didn't get lost another plus! I would definitely recommend eating this hometown favorite especially if you are craving deep dish pizza.

We always visit Giordano's whenever we're in Chicago. The Montrose location is the closest to where we stay, and it's become our favorite. The manager, John, is very personable, and even though he was short on personnel today, he still took time to chat with us, which is truly special! Giordano's is the best pizza around!! We'd LOVE to have them in our area!

The delivery experience is simply awful and we will no longer eat here. We used the Giordano's website to order dinner for our family of four. The order was 30 minutes late so I called the restaurant, and after holding for 20 minutes was informed the order was not created, but they could start it, "right away." We gave them a pass the first time this happened, but never again. A four-hour wait for food is ridiculous!

Writing a review because Giordano's deserves more than 3.5 stars overall. Granted, this is not my favorite location but I have placed multiple orders for pick up here and have never been done dirty. Consistently good - Deep or thin. After our Florida vaca, this was our first dinner home. Picked up a large thin crust Chicago classic. No complaints here. Effin tasty. We almost killed the whole thing. Both the za and Giordano's are two Chicago classics. A staple. Mwah.

"Can I get a personal cheese pizza?" You mean the deep dish? Sure.. charge me for this extra thin "deep dish." Not the first time but will be the last.

Not to be confused with expensive shoes "Air Giordano's" or the location of this chain that is staffed by hotties "Gorgeousdano's." I used to be in love with Giordano's and then I discovered Lou Malnati's - the best chain for CHIpizza - but Giordano's still isn't bad and it's a good example of Chicago-style pizza which I appreciate and enjoy. It's a little bit cheesy and Lou Malnati's has more flavour but it's still really good. However when you compare it to Art of Pizza then Art Of Pizza is just miles better. There are few other independent slice places around that make deep dish much better than any of the chains can. So after having those, it's impossible to give this place a 5-star rating, but the pizza is good, and it's worth a try if you want to try a bunch of different examples of Chicago style pizza. I can't give it less than 4 - it's too enjoyable.

Wow, i still have to get used to the concept of eating Deep Dish Pizzas. Thanks to my girl which is getting me aquainted with that. We ordered the Chicago Deep Dish pizza. I also wanted to try the spinach one and it taste good as well. My first time here. Great staff and good food. Cannot wait to com back again.

Thin crust pizza hit the spot. I had not ordered from here in years. Passed by ordered sausage and pepperoni. It was the best in the neighborhood.

The customer service was very good & the server was very prompt. The only reason I gave four was due to the sauce in my bolognese being bland. I know change restaurants though have to accommodate everyone though.The bathroom and restaurant was very clean fresh.

We decided to bring a small group of foreign exchange students to have an american meal on their last night here in chicago. This was in fact a HUGE mistake, never again. We of course called in advance to reserve the table and make sure it was manageable and they assured me it was. I arrived and immediately was being greeted extremely rudely and aggressively. The hostess, an older women yelled at us and said our group was not welcome in her restaurant "we don't do that here" and to go to another location, before I even had a chance to speak, instantly confused. Amazing service & even more amazing food!!! This is an essential place to visit while in Chicago!! My family & I throughly enjoyed the deep dish pizza & wings!

The food is great but I had to wait on hold several times, 7 minutes for the last one. I finally gave up and called somewhere else. BTW, when I did finally get through by calling back and letting them know the long hold periods they didn't care and moved on....so I did too!

DO NOT EAT HERE. Called in advance to reserve a table for a large group, once I arrived, the hostess, who was an older white woman with orange hair proceeded to say that my group and I could not be there, yelled at us, talked to us with so much attitude and kicked us out. I was shocked and amazed how a hostess, a server at this restaurant could have so much attitude with greeting a client. I will never be returning to this restaurant again because of this old woman who made it so unpleasant to be there. If i could put 0 stars i would.

This is a very small location. Frequent about once a year. Staff are not bad but never had great customer service here. Good is good, inside is cold! Everyone kept their jackets on.

Terrific visit tonight with an impromptu party of 8, Tameka was exceptionally helpful, we ordered ahead and pizza arrived right on time, hot, and delicious. The Caesar salad was fresh and plenty in family size for our table. We had a table to ourselves in the corner. Everything was clean and well attended. Parking lot, too? Fantastic!

Love this Giordano's! The food is always fresh and delicious, and there is always good service. I like eating in here, but also have done pickup and delivery. All those options work really well with great service. The restaurant itself has a small seating area, but is comfortable and doesnt feel crowded. For delivery and pickup, I recommend going through the Giordano's website, it's always worked well for me. The stuffed deep dish pizza is my favorite, and an appetizer of the boneless chicken wings compliments it really well.

This is a size small. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of me eating it, just videos of me moaning with happiness & the soon food coma that'll hit. I loved it. Honestly wish it was hotter though. The cheese pull was kind of underwhelming. But I got it delivered so maybe that's why?

Great spot for lunch in Ravenswood. Their lunch special menu is great and a great price-you can't beat a fresh, delicious salad with a personal pan pizza for around $11! Friendly staff, especially John.

5/17/24 ordered four lunches meals for office. all ok except one of the lunch pizza which clearly was ordered as sausage and marked sausage on the box came as pepperoni. though not the end of the word, but clearly should never have happened.

Additional 3% surcharge??? FOR WHAT!?!? I'm walking around the block to pick up a pizza. Called the store and the young lady couldn't explain what the surcharge is for. So... I guess instead of increasing the hourly wage for their employees or dealing with increased operating costs (as most businesses are doing), they're passing their business costs on to the customer. NO THANKS... Chicago's Pizza is just down the street, and tastes better anyway!

We ordered 16 uncut pizzas for our daughters late night snack at her wedding and Monssi was the best! She called her delivery person to confirm it would be ok to deliver past their normal window and they said no problem. The pizza was not only hot, it was super tasty and was gone in an instant. Thank you for setting an example of what quality customer service and fabulous food looks like Giordanos!

Update: not sure why I continued to give them a chance but they delivered another cold pizza. I called and asked for a new one and then ANOTHER cold pizza arrived 70 minutes later. I live exactly 1 mile from the restaurant and the delivery driver tried claiming there is horrible traffic. Google maps says 5 mins.

I typically order from this Giordano's location because it is in the delivery area for my address in East Lakeview; however, I am probably now done doing this. Every delivery takes 90+ minutes, the pizza arrives stone cold, the mozzarella triangles arrive stone cold, the marinara sauce for the mozzarella triangles has melted the plastic lid into the actual sauce and the sauce has exploded all over the triangles creating a soggy mess. Talk about toxic. Who wants melted plastic within their sauce? It's a lot of money for a complete shit experience! Three orders in the past month at $60 a pop and I am now done. Incompetent people, incompetent delivery service, total rip off. This location should be shut down by corporate headquarters.

It really takes something for me to rate a place this low . . . I appreciate we are in the time of the coronavirus and everybody and their brother is ordering delivery, but . . . We ordered a pizza online in the morning for delivery at a specific time that evening. That time came and went, and after the pizza was a half hour late, I called. After being on hold for ten minutes I was told "we'll check." Five minutes later I they came back on the line to say "the driver says he'll be there in five minutes." Another 30 minutes passed and still no pizza. We're now talking an hour and 15 minutes past the promised time. Another call and I'm told, "well, we've been really busy." A full 90 minutes past the promised delivery time we received . . . a stone cold pizza. Took us another 30 minutes to rewarm it in the oven, at which point it tasted like a stone-cold-pizza-that-had-been-rewarmed-for-half-an-hour. Next time . . . DiGiorno. We regularly order from two other places in the neighborhood, both of which tell us, "It'll be there in an hour" and it is never more than 30 minutes. Even in the time of COVID-19.

Food was great. John is very friendly and accommodating. First time in Chicago and the food and hospitality didn't disappoint.

I ordered a stuffed spinach pizza today. It arrived late, was cold and the crust was soggy. Whoever I spoke to was rude to me and wouldn't give me a refund. I will never order from here or any of its locations ever again!

Visiting Chicago and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to try its famous deep dish pizza! Ordered: individual 6" deep dish, small chicken pesto extra thin pie Mel: We wanted to eat comfortably, so we ordered a personal deep dish pizza pie and an extra thin crust online for pick up. The deep dish was good, but the crust was a little too hard for my liking. Still, definitely worth a try if you're new to Chicago! The thin crust pie was good, but nothing special. Joo: Has multiple locations. Get the deep dish pizza and order online to save time.

All Giordano's are NOT the same, as I am finding out each time we try a new location. This location made us a great thin crust pizza, so good in fact, that I am still thinking about it and plan on going back very soon. We order pretty much the same pizza - our go to is a thin crust - all mushroom, one half sausage, one half pepperoni. Gotta say, the cooks here do NOT skimp on ingredients. Pizza was full of toppings and cheese. Furthermore, the toppings were delicious - the pepperoni was really good - nice bite to it and was really yummy, so was the cheese - nice and salty. Crust was perfect, had a nice crunch and good flavor as well. We've had this same pizza a several other Giordano's locations and have found that in some instances, there was nothing special about the flavors - which is very disappointing, especially since their pizzas are NOT cheap. As far as everything else here - we had french fries, which were fine. Nothing special, but not bad either. Service was okay. Nothing over the top, but they didn't ignore us either. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant. Only other thing to mention - this location is not very big. We sat to the right of the entrance, across from the counter - away from the restrooms. Be aware that if you sit too close to the bathrooms, you will be subjected to odors. Also, FYI, this location is BYOB.

Ordered a deep dish with green peppers (and other toppings) and they put green olives all over it instead. Imagine how different they would taste... it's worse! $30 pizza, called for a refund and at first they tried to credit me for the peppers I didn't get. Obviously I explained how me spending $30 on a useless pizza plus gas for the pick up wasn't worth a $2 return. After some arguing, they finally went up to a $10 credit to their store, which I would honestly rather pay full price at a different Giordano's. Edit: was able to speak with the manager next day and he offered me a full refund plus the credit. Very helpful that he reached out to me to solve the situation.

My first Chicago deep dish ever was a Giordano's. I was visiting a high school friend for the week and love pizza, so why not try Chicago style?? Giordano's has a nice little Italian feel to it with its red checkered table cloths and mozzarella/spice shakers. The pizza was nice and hearty, and something that I never knew I needed in my life. Since having deep dish, I have had it elsewhere and experienced better, but you never forget your first.

We walked in there got seated and we waited for more than 15 minutes to get served and thats not the only issue , a family came after we did and they got served less than 5 min . That was not okay. As soon as we got our drinks we were patiently waiting for our food we waited an hour to get a dip dish pizza , which ended up being under cooked and got my whole family sick right after eating one slice.The server seemed new and thats why were patient but seeing how the server attend other families better got us mad it also showed that she actually had experience and felt like if she had something against us when she came by our table. Even my four year old daughter felt angry for a long wait for a lemonade. Ive been a server before and she was a terrible one. When we got our pizza they only placed it in the corner of the table and our plates as well and we served our selves but looking around the server would be cutting their pizza and serving each member of the other tables one by one which we thought it was unfair ,on why didn't we get that kind of service . It was our first time and it would probably be our last very disappointment.

The deep dish pizza is everything you need in a pizza. Came for the weekend and this place was amazing. They're lunch specials are a great deal and the foods are big enough to share. Definitely came back more than once.
