That just means the bartenders will definitely ask about your day, and if you’re visiting solo, you’ll be sitting at a communal table with other people who also came alone. Their cocktails don’t have a set theme, but they do incorporate a lot of local ingredients and spirits, like wild honey, rice spirits, and even candle-smoked coconut milk. Other than that, the bar feels like your usual speakeasy, with a wooden countertop, brown leather sofas, and dimmed lights. What you won’t see at other speakeasies: a corner of floor-to-ceiling mirrors with written messages from previous people who drank there.
