I had such a great experience at this nail salon during my trip to DC! Andy did my gel manicure and Leo took care of my pedicure—both were incredibly skilled, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. The salon was super clean, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was really welcoming. I only wish this place was closer to home! I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in DC—highly recommend!

I came here a night before taking off back to Texas the next morning. I was searching for a nails salon that was open still at 8pm, and mind you, I come across this one. I absolutely loved that environment of this salon as well as the service for my nails getting done. Andy and his crew that night are amazing and the team helps each other out! You can see the team work effort to please their clients needs. When I return to visit again, this is a must! Amazing crew! I’m from out of town but needed to get my nails done this week. I was originally planning on going to the nail salon next door, but was not a fan of the atmosphere upon walking in - it was too busy, the music was too loud, and it did not feel very sanitary. I trusted my gut and left and went to this place instead and was very glad I did. The atmosphere was relaxing, calm, clean, and not very busy. Andy did my manicure and I really like his work! He gave me the clean, natural look I wanted. I plan to use this spot again in the future if needed.

Beautiful salon! The cleanest I've ever seen and my nails look perfect. Sandy is very sweet and does amazing work. Her staff is very professional and I noticed that all the clients seemed very happy, just like me! This was my first visit, but definitely not my last. Added bonus...glass of wine!

It’s already been a week since my visit, but my hands are still red and inflamed, and they’re very painful. Today, I even noticed a blood clot forming on the side of one of my nails. This is extremely concerning and suggests that the tools used may not have been properly sanitized or that the procedure was too aggressive. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience.

I always have a great experience at Glamour Nails! Quick but quality work, and Andy does a great job with Gel X manicures (which are hard to find in the city)!

We walked in here on a whim. My daughter got a kids Mani/pedi and I got a deluxe Pedi with callous removal. Loved our experience. Our technicians were fun and friendly and gave us the total treatment. They even fixed a nail polish smudge on the way out!

Went to this place with a friend. She got her nails done first while I got there about 5 minutes after. they asked if I wanted mine done right away and I said yes but it took took them around 40-45 minutes to get to me. The store was not very full and plenty of staff were there sitting around. Poor service and attitude was all I got from there. Was not worth my time so left before any work was done on my nails. I would not recommend this place. The nails might look nice but the attendants weren't and that was enough for me!

I love this nail salon. Not only do they open late. They also have impeccable service. Andy recommended I get the gel-x full-set. It was quick and easy. No more acrylic for me. I love them and they look so natural I also loved by pedicure by Ngoai. 10/10

Candy was so sweet and did a great job on my nails! She was thorough and made sure I was happy with the shape before continuing. She also gave a great hand massage. Highly recommend her! Everyone there was lovely, and the price can't be beat.

I had a great experience at Glamour so will be back this summer. I'm a natural nail gal so can't speak to their acrylic services but saw that their acrylic techs were very focused. Like many, I have a busy work schedule so value weekend time for relaxation with family and friends. It's awesome that Glamour stays open until 10 pm on weekdays. I'm excited that I can get my summer nail care done during the week. It takes the stress off of trying to fit in a gel removal/new manicure/pedi during lunchtime or get an appointment right after work. Scheduling- their website lets you schedule your services on line so that was great. The salon is in the heart of Dupont Circle so I was worried about finding parking. However, after 6:30 pm there is a ton of parking by the nearby embassies. The salon is bright, spacious and very clean. My tech, Candy, said the salon is 4 years old- it was so clean that I thought it had just opened. Although they do acrylics, it didn't smell like it was full of chemicals like some other salons. They had a fun Spotify playlist so the vibe was cheery. Their TV played nature scenes (thank you!) because nothing kills a good mani/pedi vibe like daily news gloom and doom. I had a gel removal and regular mani/pedi service. They offered me a bottle of cold water before my pedicure started and even brought another chair to sit alongside my pedicure chair so that my bag didn't have to sit on the ground. My tech, Candy, did a great job on the mani and pedi. She was super nice and didn't try to upsell me on a ton of services or products. Additional Thoughtful touch: when you wash your hands before they apply the polish, they have white cloth towels instead of paper towels at the sinks. I highly recommend trying out Glamour. I'll definitely be returning as I noticed that they had organic mani/pedis as well.

Quick service, called in on a Saturday and they found time to fit me in. They always have the latest tech and keep their clients up with the trends. Pleasant staff, upbeat vibe, and quality mani and pedi!

Went late for a rebase and Andy did a great job. Amazing shape! Highly recommend him.

This was my first time at Glamour Nails and Andy did not disappoint! I've been struggling to find a good, consistent nail tech in the area and I think this might be my new go-to. I saw people raving about Andy in the reviews for SNS dip powder and they were right! Andy paid close attention to detail, was very welcoming and clearly cared a lot about his clients. He didn't hesitate to offer me water, took his time with my nails and made great conversation. The prices were great too and they offer a nail "happy hour" on weekdays where if you pay cash you get great discounts on services! I'll definitely be back -- thank you Andy!

Probably the worst dip manicure I've ever received. I asked for a long almond shape and he cut my nails too short without asking how long I wanted them. The dip cracked within two days. I've never had that happen before. The shop was nice and water was given to me but I will not be back. I came for the $40 deal but I guess you truly get what you pay for

This is my fourth time going to this salon but mt second review. This place is amazing. Three different people have done my nails and they were all amazing which I love. And one person does my feet and the work is phenomenal. Its been a challenge finding someone to do dip correctly and design and Ella is OUTSTANDING. The shape of my nails and the precision of the design I showed her is unmatched. The shop is clean and friendly and all around amazing work. Ive found my forever salon. Thank you again to the team and Ella you are THE BEST!

Glamour Nails did an amazing job with my full set for graduation! Andy is very talented and experienced and made me feel very comfortable at the salon. I would highly recommend this business to anyone in need of a manicure or new set of acrylics!

Decided to get a pedicure since I didn't have anything planned for the rest of the day. Called ahead to see if they had availability for a walk in pedi. I wasn't offered water like the other customers were. Not sure if the person who did my pedicure was newer and maybe still training. She had some people come over and tell her a couple things during the pedicure which didn't bother me. I felt that she was a bit rough and pushed the cuticles back further than necessary; I kept wincing because it wasn't comfortable. She also cut my skin twice to where I started bleeding. First time I didn't mind but by the second time, I was just annoyed and the manager came over to check on me cause he saw me looking at my foot and I told him that it hurt. He just advised her to spray it and then blot it. This wasn't worth my $40 at all. Terrible customer service and the fact that I was visibly uncomfortable and said ouch multiple times and nothing changed during the service/no apology offered is enough for me to suggest you to stay away. I'm not from this area so it's safe to say I won't come back.

Jessica took me in as a walk in and did a wonderful job on my nails! She helped me pick a color I love and did a super thorough job. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. The price was excellent. I'm visiting from out of town, but if I lived here this would be my go-to place!

Great place to come for your mani pedi needs. The nail shop is clean very elegant and the staff is amazing and so nice. They offer you drinks as soon as you get inside and they do have mimosas. The parking is nonexistent tbh. You have to kind of find parking and walk the streets.

Andy did a great job with my gel x manicure. He recommended polish color and styles since I haven't done my nails in years. Everything was amazing. Service 10/10. Definitely recommend and they have happy hour discounts everyday.

Great service! Will come back. My nail tech from a different store out in dc had did a not so good job. Glamour did fantastic on my gel nails and the team was sweet!

The quality of my manis and pedis are great - one of the technicians actually said they don't offer certain types of manis bc it's too harsh and too many chemicals that are in the air, which I appreciated. The offering of drinks seems inconsistent - the first time we were offered water. The second time we weren't offered anything. The third time I said something to the friends I was with there about how we need to find a mani place with wine which was when they offered us the wine. So basically depends o what you're going there for. The nails, the whole experience, or just the wine. If you're looking for the whole experience with the wine, I'd probably skip the place.

I got my nails done here and they were exactly what I wanted. They were all so nice too and paid such good attention to detail. I will definitely be back!!

I'm in DC for the weekend and absolutely needed my nails done before brunch! I called around and to my luck they said walk ins were available and they were not busy. After a five minute walk and stop for a smoothie I entered the location. I needed a manicure and pedicure. For my nails I have hard gel so since I writing this in real time, the guy who normally does the hard gel removal was not here. BUT! I sat right down and begun my feet! The lady is very gentle and it feels good. I will update once my nails are completed * update ! The guy came in and removed my hard gel nails and shaped them up. The woman who did my feet also did my nails! She was good and I do like the outcome! I even received complimentary water!

I just left this place about 20 minutes ago - not happy with the service. Not only was it EXTREMELY rushed - the tech spoke to me like I was stupid and after getting a dip manicure my nail beds hurts. Please see the photo of my nails - the dip job was trash. I'm going to have to go and get them done from my regular salon next week. Spare yourself and your wallet - skip right past Glamour nails if you want a decent dip manicure. Edit / woke up the next day with a huge crack in my nail!

I got gel mani and pedi with my mom last week. It did not last a week. I went back asking to fix 4 nails that were lifted. The lady who did mine was not there and the ladies who did my nails were not happy (understandably) to fix my nails. They only did one layer and were so mean. When I got back home, I saw the nails were already lifted and chipped. What a disappointment. I wouldn't go back there. Not worth money.

service is was horrendous . nail technician was rude and rough, so much so I left without getting manicure. After roughly manicuring my nails and accidentally dropping the polish, which I offered to help with, i was screamed at to get another color. Accidents due happen, It was the level of rudeness that was un called for. no one else seemed interested but did find her screaming funny.

I'm a regular here now because these folks take supremely good care of me. I go to Andy for my acrylics and Debbie for everything else. Best pedicure I've ever had, AND she helps me pick out the right color. We try them on. I've never had anyone do that for me before. She's also very funny and personable. Andy is a true artist and dedicated business owner. We have great conversations and he creates beautiful looks for my hands. I'm a hair stylist and my nails always last 2 weeks until my next fill in. You can tell he has tons of experience because the quality of the work is just flawless. Compared to other shops around my experience here is always 5 stars. Skip the other shops in the neighborhood that start with M. Lol

It's ok. I went after calling on a Sunday (no appointment was necessary). First impressions were good; it's a spacious salon with multiple chairs. My gel mani and regular pedicures were ok, but really rushed. I had the two processes done sequentially and I was out of the door in less than an hour. The whole experience was not relaxing as I felt they wanted to finish with me and get me out of the salon. Job done but not a spa experience.

Booked an appointment for my friend and I and they finished her manicure before even starting mine. I had been waiting for almost 45 minutes before finally leaving because my friend's nails were done and they did not seem ready to start mine. It was almost 7:30pm and I was not interested in staying in the salon past 8:30pm on a Friday night.

Andy is the best. Awesome service. The vibe is great. He is very efficient and I have never had my nails done so well before! 12/10 recommend!

I went in for manicure and the service was horrible. The manicurist dropped the nail polish and I offered to help her and she was incredibly rude. I told her I would just leave - she demanded payment. The maybe owner- manager just sat and laughed..don't waste your time or money or energy.. vibe stinks and no professionalism.

I had Andy and he did an amazing job! I got dip powder with tips in a coffin shape in a pretty Barbri pink! Andy is very nice and funny.

Andy did my nails and it was a really awesome service. I came in because I had gotten a terrible manicure somewhere else and they were so nice and gave me a fresh set. Totally recommend!

I went as a walk in during their happy hours (it's $5 cheaper) and was immediately seated. Tien took their time with my pedi and mani, which I really appreciated bc the other places around the area aren't as attentive and are much louder. Overall this was much better experience than I've had in the past in this area + the service was better and cheaper too

I initially went to get a French Mani and Pedi with silver before work since Mimosa's a few doors down takes a little longer. I got serviced immediately then the experience went down from there. The woman didn't understand what type of pedicure I wanted after I repeated it several times then got frustrated, they also brought out the wrong polish when I specifically gave the color number. A French style manicure on my hands and toes isn't uncommon so I am unsure why it was so difficult. The woman stopped and a gentleman finished my toes for my alleged difficult request of a silver line being painted on the bottom of my toenail, French manicures are very simple. In addition, this whole process took an hour. I declined to get a manicure because they already exhausted so much of time for a simple French styled pedicure for work. I am a very easy-going person, so I hate to be in mediocre environments that's gives bad service and vibes. I will not be back.

Tried this place for the first time today and I was so pleased. Andy and his co-worker did a phenomenal job with my gel x manicure and pedicure. The shape and color were perfect. I also loved the clean vibe and appearance of the location. Every staff member was kind and helpful.

Everyone was so friendly and Andy gave me a great dip manicure!! Weekday happy hour was also a great deal, definitely should check them out!

I asked for a mani and they asked me if I'd like to add a coat of gel on top, I said sure. After an hour, my nails were ABSOLUTELY destroyed. They must have not let the polish dry but it never dried, it was just the worst manicure I've ever had done. I went back and it was clear they were pissed that I complained and they re-did my nails with only nail polish. She could not have hurried more and clearly did not give a crap to give me a proper mani. The polish didn't even cover my whole nail and the second coat can doesn't cover the first coat even. Never ever coming back!!!

Fabulous service, including lucite mask guard for each pedicure & manicure station. Attentive team who really know their craft, and relaxing YouTube video of islands and meditative music wafting throughout the sparkling clean, brand new, stylish salon. (Love the Victorian tin roof tiles!) And on a Sunday, when nearby nail salons treat me like a number to be dealt with, in cursory fashion, these folks are attentive to every need. Manager Andy has a great sense of humor that put a smile on my face, as nail technician Mandy got down to work on a gel pedicure. Come here now before everyone else discovers this new Dupont treasure!

I absolutely love glamour nails! In a crowded market, they're by far the best place to get your nails done in dupont circle. They offer wine, tea, mimosas, or champagne with every service and have truly kind staff. Both Helen & the owner Andy are amazing nail techs! Whenever I've had a chip in my nail (that was my fault) they fixed it for no charge. I usually get dip on my nails & regular polish on my toes in case that matters. Highly recommend the dip, it lasts for 3 weeks! Can't say enough about how much I love this nail salon. They're very clear about pricing and I think they have reasonable prices for the services offered plus perks. I've never had a nail tech & salon that I've returned to as consistently, but once you find a good one you keep going back!

The nails I wanted vs. the nails I got. I was called "picky" and they refused to redo them or give me a refund. My nails also hurt and I told them that but they still refused to give me a solution. Not only is the shape and color not what I wanted, they are so thick, uneven, and wide, there is glue on my skin, and I was cut on multiple fingers. Do not go here if you expect good service. The lady who did my nails is nice but they are not what I wanted. Extremely disappointed because I've never been to a nail salon with such poor service. Luckily my bank is able to cancel the charge, if the nail salon had provided me with a solution I wouldn't have had to go to my bank and they would've still been paid. 0/5 Update: went to another place to get my nails redone, the nail lady at that place not only said this was the tackiest nail job ever and she doesn't know how the manager allowed it, but also that I was given SNS when I asked for acrylics. I was told that they gave me acrylic. Unbelievable that after all this, I was told that Glamour nails is unable to redo them or give me a refund. You're better off doing your nails yourself than going here lol

What a terrible experience. I asked for a regular manicure. They immediately gave me a hard sell on why I should do a gel one. I politely declined. During the manicure, the guy doing my nails complained about the crime in the neighborhood, including their own salon getting robbed (which is terrible), but he then went on to complain about people of a certain race. When the manicure was over and the nails had been drying a while, he told me I should be good to go. Soon after I left, some of my nails got smudged. When I went back the next night to politely ask if they could fix the smudged ones, they said "ok take a seat." About 15 min later, the guy practically yelled at me in front of lots of customers "see, we tried to convince you to do the gel manicure!" After waiting for 35 minutes, I politely asked how much longer. He said "come back in an hour." I did not come back and never will.

I've been hopping between nail salons in DuPont for over five years, and when glamour opened they became my favorite! Clean, bright, aesthetically uniform, chill music, fairly quiet, very attentive staff, quality service, and extra barriers for covid protection. Glamour has quickly become my favorite of the nail spots in the area. Sign up for account and they'll text you discounts. Easily accessible from the DuPont metro stop. Parking in the area could be challenging if you don't have a residential permit. Tons of bars, restaurants, and even shopping nearby.

I'm gonna start off by saying I love the overall shape and application of my nails. Plus I understand it was a walk in and very last minute but I feel like for the overall price I expected it to be a bit more thorough.Unfortunately I'm about to expose myself and show how not cute my hands are to explain what I mean. This is the morning after getting my nails done and the nail tech didn't clean under the nail or the surrounding skin of the nail. These are fixable so I am doing it at home, but I don't believe for the price I paid I should be having to fix anything.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Went to get nails done because they are open late which I was excited about but during my pedicure my foot started hurting and I realized they literally scrubbed the skin off my foot and left it to bleed without even saying anything. Really painful. Then I decide I don't even want to go through with the mani but the man guilted me into staying and promised me he was the best and would do anything I wanted perfectly so, against my better judgement, I spent an obscene amount of money for the shittiest acrylics that are uneven and crooked and a completely incompetent design. The lines are not straight, even or the least bit thorough and it was just genuinely horrendous experience. They also offer free wine which is obviously very watered down. Also the tools must not have been sanitary because the wound was very infected and painful to clean out. If I could give zero stars I definitely would. Wast of $130 o and he wasn't wearing his mask. Looks like a child did my nails UPDATE- MY FRIEND (the next morning) FOUND WOUNDS AND BLOOD ON HER FEET AS WELL

The vibe of this nail salon was fantastic!! My new go to salon! When you go, ask for ANDY! The DIP KING of DC!!! The pedicure was also really great, but I didn't catch her name. Overall, a five star experience. Will definitely be back!

this is my go to spot for nails -- always. i get a pedi and a dip powder manicure here every month and i've never been disappointed! they always offer me a drink and are timely with services. i recently got a brazilian wax here too and it went super smoothly! glad to be a regular customer at this spot!

I love this place, I come here regularly for my dip nails. They always come out perfect and they've grown so long and strong since I've started coming here. Chill, welcoming environment. Very much recommend this as your Dupont nail place

Blasting Fox News should have given me a heads up. There was a sign outside for a classic pedicure for $30 yet they tried to charge me $40. The manicurist did the bare minimum in terms of getting dead skin off my feet. I had to ask her to do it again. They asked me 3 times if I also wanted a manicure. I didn't even ask for polish. I asked for change for a $20 so I could tip and she gave me 2 $10's. Then I asked for some ones and she gave me 4 $5's It felt like they wanted to up charge or upsell me on everything Felt like I was being hustled the whole time. Won't return.

Originally had an appointment at DuPont Nails/Spa Logic. They treated me like garbage so I walked out. Stumbled upon Glamour Nails. Lady took me in right away. She knew I was in a hurry so started the pedicure while I was looking at the tray or colors. She had me in and out of there in less than a hour for gel manicure/regular pedicure. Super efficient, super friendly, and super clean! They have a much larger selection of colors than other places and are so efficient! Will definitely be back!
