Google
A very pleasant surprise. This venue was great for a lacrosse club parent happy hour. Nice beer selection, friendly bar staff, and a lot of seating. Perfect venue on a weeknight, if you are looking for something private without wanting to pay for a private room.

This place is awesome for meeting up with your friends. We usually go before a movie, but it's also great to unwind with a drink after. They have a really cool vibe, and the staff is always super friendly. Plus, their drink menu is on point – something for everyone. Definitely recommend s Popping in.

Google
Great place to stop in before a movie. Solid drinks. Good service

Google
This little bar has a great variety of beers and cocktails. You can also grab a bite while you are waiting for your movie to start or you can just chill with your friends. It has a very casual, relaxed atmosphere with attentive and friendly service. The prices are a little higher specially for the snacks but the quality is good. Parking can be tricky because the Alamo is always busy but it’s not impossible to find a spot l.

Google
Good spot for beers before a movie! There was a good selection of stouts which i enjoy during winter months. Old Fashion was nice and strong. Cider was good too.

Google
Overall experience was good. Well priced appetizers and several options for beers on draft. The bar is jointly located inside a movie theatre so convenient for drinks before or after a movie.

Google
Enjoy trivia night here and the staff is attentive and nice. Drinks are a little pricey but that's pretty much anywhere!

Yelp
I think this is one of the better bars attached to the Alamo chains. The drink menu is pretty much the same as are the prices. The difference is the service. You're not ignored or brushed off here. It's got a good vibe for pre or post movie-going hangs.

Yelp
This is a decent bar to kill a little time before a movie at The Alamo Draft House. The drinks aren't cheap, but they do have a good selection of spirits. I've found service to be acceptable; I have no complaints. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here for drinks, but if I'm coming for a movie, stopping in is worth it.

Yelp
Nice bar attached to Alamo Drafthouse theater - perfect to kill time before watching a movie or stop in for a quick drink + snack. Good selection of craft beers on tap, including seasonal flavors. The staff is friendly and allowed us to sample a few options before selecting a beer. They have a food menu as well offering typical bar snacks. We enjoyed the vegan cauliflower bites with gochuang sauce - those were delicious!

Yelp
I don't think they open until 5. Nice little place to hang while awaiting the film to begin.

Yelp
So I currently reside stumbling distance from this bar and I did not know it even existed until I saw Mr & Mrs O's reviews. Glass Half Full (GHF) is located within the Alamo theatre complex just off the main lobby. You can have a pint or two even if you are not seeing a movie. They have a really good beer list and some decent wines. Our bartender, Hispanic gentleman, knew is beer. He directed me toward a couple of brews I would not have thought to try. Yea I can see myself stopping back for a cool brew or two...

Yelp
Been here a few times before seeing a movie. There is a great variety of drinks to choose from and the bartenders I have had are great and pretty quick to notice if your drink needs a refill. Friendly bartenders to talk to as well. Order a drink here if you want and take it with you into the theater.

Yelp
All of the staff here, except for one guy who is really good, are on some sort of slowdown protest. Nine dollar beers should warrant good service and a company that actually cares about their customers. The bar tenders here need to be trained. Someone at Alamo needs to look up consolidation and how it is important in a bar or restaurant. Hey everyone look how attentive and concerned with customer care Alamo Drafthouse is, just look at all of the engagement. Look how proactive they are and how much they value the community that made them what they are. Rude employees, absent leadership, horrible managers and worst of all their IT systems are windows based. Treat this bar like a zoo or some kind of exhibit. Come here to see the slowest bar tenders in the world. Pay forty dollars for two or maybe three drinks and as an added bonus you might get treated poorly. Also do not rely on the hours posted because this bar shuts down just whenever they feel like it.

Yelp
Great place at the entrance of the Alamo Drafthouse. Great Craft Beer selections, Great Service and you can order food off the Alamo Menu. Never disappointed when I stop in regardless of attending a movie or not.

Yelp
Glass Half Full is a new bar connected to the recently opened Alamo Drafthouse Lakeline location. The bar has a tap list that would please any beer connoisseur. In addition they have a full bar with a cocktail list and wine. The bar itself is rather small and made up of communal tables lined with bar stools. The decor is somewhat rustic in color with exposed brick and walls dawn the phrase "Made in America". You also can order drinks just outside the bar on the patio which is also somewhat awkwardly one of the entrances. The outside area has comfortable seating and misting fans making it more bearable in the Texas summer heat. The beers they pour are diverse and they have lots of local brews. Some of the local taps include Adelbert's, Real Ale, Austin Beer Works, Independence, Hops & Grain, Rogness, Jester King, Circle and Thirsty Planet. The printed beer menu is categorized by "seasonal", "smooth and balanced", "weird and wonderful", "crisp and refreshing", "dark and rich" and "for hop heads". The taps are also written on chalkboards above the taps. They have some custom made Glass Half Full cocktails which are a twist on classic drinks and run $10. They also have beer mixes like their Elderflower Snake Bite with beer, cider and St. Germain that all run $6. And the classic cocktail are $9. We went last night and found both the bar and outside area well staffed. They were pretty busy and they poured and made drinks quickly. We sat at the bar and ordered a Cannibal Chianti and a Manhattan. I was already a fan of the Chianti which they serve at the other locations. The Manhattan was off their classic cocktails list and was made pretty strong. Based on the price point and size of cocktails being served I would probably stick to the beer, beer mixes and wines here. Service was excellent! I love we now have an Alamo with a sit down bar to enjoy a drink before and/or after a movie. I do wish the inside bar was larger. We arrived at 5:50 p.m. on a Monday. When we left for our movie at 6:20 p.m. we were crowded by people trying to order a drink and it was near standing room only. But as mentioned before they do have outdoor seating. TIPs: They have happy hour! Happy hour is Monday-Friday from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. $1 off draft beers and specialty drinks and $5 wells. Unlike 400 Rabbits they do not currently serve food in the bar so don't come here too hungry.

Yelp
I love this place! Great craft beer selection and menu. The bestie and I are weekly patrons. Try the Thai chilli wings! Bartender Stephen recommended a number of IPAs and other beers to pair with our food. He's very knowledgeable and friendly. The best bartenders they have in my opinion! It's a very relaxed atmosphere and the perfect spot for a drink before a movie. I wish so much they had TVs!! But it's kewl chatting with staff or other people at the bar. Expect a line for drinks if it's opening weekend. But I never mind waiting for a good drink and food.

Yelp
This bar in the lobby of the Lakeline theater was understaffed and understocked on a recent Friday night. I asked for Rose, they had run out completely (even though the menu listed about 5 options), then I asked for a Devil's Backbone beer, and they had also run out. The service was incredibly slow as well, I think because there was about one waiter for the entire place and the bartenders were filling the movie theater orders at the same time as the bar patrons' orders. Just because you have a slightly captive audience, doesn't mean you should treat your customers this poorly.

Yelp
We stopped in for a pint and we weren't there to see a movie at the Alamo it's located with. We had driven by the place so many times, and it's located close to our grocery store, so what the heck we decided to check it out. We sat at the bar and the bartender came over right away. He was friendly and knowledgeable about their many craft beers on draft. Above the taps is a board listing their two dozen or so beers and their alcohol content, I really liked that arrangement. We didn't order any food, but the full Alamo draft house menu is available. I really enjoyed the Zilker IPA, which I haven't been able to find at other places. The bartender told us about their plan to have some beer pairings for the Dead Pool movie, which I'm excited about. May be returning soon.

Yelp
A good choice of a sweet drink for the ladies could be the "Love Bug"....and for the month of October a "Crimson Peak"

Yelp
Attentive waitstaff, buffalo cauliflower was amazing, but my cocktail was a letdown. My aviation was served without the cherry garnish, lots of ice chips, and very very bitter.

Yelp
When we're seeing a movie at the Alamo Lakeline location, we always have a beer or two first at the bar of Glass Half Full. Yes, I'm well aware they serve beer inside the theater but hey - it's important to know what's on tap beforehand! The selection is almost completely local brews, including everything from Adelbert's to Infamous. The service here is great and we've always been able to snag a few seats at the bar. If it's full, there is a fair amount of communal seating available. However, I do wish they rotated their tap offerings more often. I always lean more towards trying something new rather than sticking with what I know and on our last visit both beers I chose were repeats.

Yelp
This bar is a great idea, but unfortunately has a very lackluster bartender. If you don't believe me, read the prior reviews. The short, dark-haired female bartender is rude, slow, and not too worried about her clientele. I experienced her poor attitude initially and wrote it off because we were seeing a late movie and may've ordered prior to close (which they don't have their hours posted anyway). I felt bad and gave her the benefit of the doubt, as I would be mad if I were about to close and someone came in last minute. However, I went to see Hardcore Henry tonight and same poor attitude. It's a 7:25 showing!! She took forever, was condescending to the customers before me, and was in no hurry to fulfill the order in front of me. At that point I left; it was either that or tell the bartender what I thought about her poor work ethic or attitude. I won't be visiting this establishment until the employee no longer works there and will implore my friends and family to do the same.

Yelp
I love this place. Yes it is small and some seating is communal but they have a gorgeous covered patio with misters that will be wonderful in good weather. Don't hate on them until we get out of August, geesh! Much better beer selection than Flix in Round Rock and very knowledgeable staff and barkeep. They are learning and the place is new but they'll get it together and you can't beat the happy hour deals on a great beer list. Our new favorite outing is a beer or two in the Half Full bar, followed by a movie and burger/pizza in the theater!

Yelp
I have been here at least 10 or more times. Each time it has been great: the drinks, service, atmosphere, the patio. Tonight was different, I went to get my nails done nearby and then decided to stop in before I went home. I ordered a Cosmo and sat on the patio in the sun, relaxing and happy I survived my first week at my new job. 20 minutes later, I walked back in and asked for "another". The bartender who served me had no idea what I was talking about, even though there were only 8 other people in the establishment. So I reminded him I wanted a Cosmo. He asked if I was going to see a movie there, to which I replied, "no". He then told me he was going to go ahead and give me a glass of water with my drink. I said, ok that's fine. I was a bit confused bc no one has ever asked if I was there to see a movie or not. Then he continues by saying that since I was not seeing a movie, he needed to give me the water to "make sure you are ok" in front of the 2 other bartenders and 2 other customers. This was 6pm and I had had one cocktail, and had eaten dinner prior to coming there. It was embarrassing. I felt like he was treating me as if I had been sitting there taking shots or stumbling into the bar. It was insulting and I probably will not go back because if it. All he had to do was kindly offer me the water and not even ask if I was there to see a movie, because it doesn't matter. Or at least I didn't think it mattered. My Friday night mood went south, thanks to this guy.

Yelp
Great place to get a pint before your movie or just to stop in. They have a unique selection of beers. Some that are hard to find other places. We especially enjoyed the Zilker IPA. The bartender said it's had to get a keg but they got one. Really great IPA.

Yelp
What can you say it's a bar at Alamo Drafthouse boxed wine but it works in a pinch. And beer well we all know it Alamo Drafthouse house for beer so there you go

Anna G.

Yelp
If you stay close to closing time the bartender (short girl with dark brown hair) will treat you poorly and make your drinks bad. She threw an orange slice onto the bar and then continued put it in the drink. She was very verbal about not wanting to make our drinks even though the bad didn't close for 45 minutes and we were the only people in the bar so we could hear her. As we walked out she did not thank us or acknowledge us being there. Very rude service. On the other hand our server was very polite and kind. He checked on us frequently and always had a smile on his face.

Yelp
It's hit or miss here with the service and bartenders, normally not a big deal unless you're up for trying one or more of their advertised mixed drinks. No consistency there. Other than that it's a good place to get a few drinks before a movie.

Yelp
Bartender busy but she makes a great vodka gimlet! Very nice vibe, very low key - even though located inside same building as movie theater. Will be coming back!!
