I felt the atmosphere was really loud and mostly people that want to pick fights. I don't know what's up with the world today,I have been to the bar many times and nobody knows my name. But I know when i go there i have been called names.....unbelievable! I don't know if they serve food or good drinks cause most of the time the Bartenders don't pay attention to certain people. I only go tthere because it's the last bar b4 205 goes into Washington and I can play some Lottery b4 I get out of State.

The Sunday bartender is amazing. But the Saturday bartender will cSt you out at their whim. No judge only them. And only after you have spent money.. if you argue with Saturday bartender you are banned..even though logic fails them. Sunday bartender cares. Sunday bartender only cares about the money you make.. come here on Sunday to deal with a human

We go to the Glass House every week to play video slots. We enjoy the atmosphere and people always seem to be in good spirits.

I love this place! however, bartender Larissa has a horrible attitude and when I ordered drink, she made fun of the drink that I ordered and gave me a completely different drink than the one I ordered even after I tipped her very well not very professional. I recommend going to the bar whenever she’s not working. I’m only giving five stars because every bartender as well highly recommend Judy and Teresa.

Google
Not going to lie, I was unsure if I wanted to try this bar because of the location, and I was a little scared going in. But it was actually a great little bar. Very friendly staff. Jukebox with a very good sound system. Everything was really cheap. I did not try any food though. I was more comfortable at this bar than I thought I would've been. Definitely will be stopping by more often.

Small neighborhood bar with 1 pool table, 1 dart board, 1 pinball, large screen TV tuned to news or sports. Music by jukebox. 6 Oregon lottery video gaming machines + Keno and scratch offs, outdoor smoking area, very diverse clientele from hookers to business persons to addicts to bar flies, to homeless. Not for the faint of heart or overly conservative person. Friendly bartenders, very good drink prices, decent bar food. Full service bar.

Google
Just a local dive bar that has a great bartender named Judy. Drinks are always a good pour and the jukebox is loud. I went for video poker and came back because it's a fun hangout!

Google
It's a little louder than I like but the bartender was always willing to put together a sandwich for me after everyone else was done eating and she was closing up ~ the kind that you could make two meals out of. With all my favourite stuff ... she just kept on adding ingredients, makes me wish I'd taken a picture of it.

Yelp
Went to the Glass House on a whim to have a drink only to walk into a bar with alot of drama among the patrons. The drinks and food were alright, but not somewhere to bring a female.

Yelp
I thought this bar was going to be a *lot* more dive-y than it was. Don't get me wrong, it IS a total dive, but it's actually clean. No fancy drinks (cocktails) here, though: just pints, straight pours, stiff drinks, and cash only. Yeah, you read that right - cash only!

Yelp
Dive Bars at it's best! Passed this place many times and never bothers to stop in because it has no appealing exterior appearance. GHT is a small building with NO Windows, No obvious indication of human life other than its lighted RED neon sign blinking OPEN. On my most recent visit to the area, after 5+ hours of travel, I was on the hunt for a place close in proximity to my hotel and airport. Since I had a travel partner, I had a bit more courage and bravery to check out this place I've passed often and wondered .... To my pleasant surprise, GHT is your typical local bar; clean, friendly and pleasant to sip a beverage and relax. Local arcade games (Oregon Lottery Machines also) and dart boards available for play. Food (microwave type food) is available for purchase. Tavern patrons ALL local folk from the surrounding community. Bartenders rule the roost. Parking plentiful. Cash only Definite return for me if I'm in the area 41/100! Yelp Review Challenge Los Angeles

Yelp
This bar is very interesting granted the heat is a factor in everyone's temper. It is a mixed locals bar. I'm sure there are fights there daily. I wouldn't reccomend eating here or getting anything that requires a garnish as the bar tender never washed hands between handling olives, glasses, lemons, money, etc. Cross contamination at its best.

Yelp
Think cantina scene from Star Wars but no one has teeth and you can freebase in the parking lot while hand feeding a rabid squirrel. The locals recently trafficked a stolen French bulldog. The fact that this place serves food legally is a testament to the complete incompetence of local government. Clearly the local tattoo parlor needs spellcheck and every surface in this building needs a biohazard stamp. If you are looking for a great dive bar experience or just a roach motel for humans, you found it!

Yelp
So, it's a lil rough around the edges, but the bartenders are cool, pour a good drink, AND they fry that chicken! I have fried ALOT of chicken in my day, and this is right up there. The bar dog is a sweet, if smelly lover, as there's a crusty corner. Come here to get yo chicken on, but don't bring/wear anything that you can't throw in the wash.

Yelp
It's a smokey, seedy little dive bar on a sketchy street in the crackey part of town. I think my favorite part was the banter between the crotchety bartender and the pushy blue collar clientele. I clearly was identifiable as an outsider, due mostly to my superior hygiene and full compliment of teeth. Still, there's something special about seedy little dive bars that makes you feel like part of the bigger picture. It has: smokers, video poker, draft beers, booze, a pool table, etc...

Yelp
Say whatever you like about this dive bar but their chicken broad red and really good... not what you might expect from a dive. Their drinks are reasonable and they are next door to one of the oldest centuries (small) in Portland. I'd say try them out!

Yelp
People here are laid back. If you are looking to just a grab a drink and let go of a bad day this is the place to come. Rough around the edges but good people. To top it off the drinks are hella cheap!!!

Yelp
My local bar. A true dive..good stiff drinks at a reasonable price. Cash only. ATM available. Play pool or video gambling. Fried bar food. Across the street from a hotel and the Parkrose transit center.

Yelp
If you're jet lagged, broken hearted, or still partying from the night before, this is the place for you!!! Happy hour from 7am-9am. Not for the faint of heart, not for the light of drinking.

Daniel C.

Yelp
Came here on a business trip from San Diego. Bartender was very unfriendly. An hour later there was a shift change so I hoped for the best. Next bartender was worse. This is not a case of a drunken patron expecting a lot. The prices are good, the place is a dump, but the bartenders are horrible.

Yelp
Can't believe the bartender commented on 'how well my English was for being born in Mexico'. In her crazy mind, that was a compliment but wowzers, I just wanted to enjoy a beer.
google avatar

Yelp
I just go there for the Chicken Strips and Jo Jos. You have to be ready for a blue collar dive bar, the bar help can be all over the place although It had really improved when I was there the last time. They have a full bar now, a choice of blue collar beers, and a limited menu. And Killer Chicken Strips and Jo Jos.

Yelp
This is a true dive bar & the bartender Kelly was so cool ...if I lived near by this would be a regular place for me

Yelp
I am in love with this place!! I've been coming here for about two years now and it's always consistent. The bartenders, Cherie, Kelly, and Laresa are all WONDERFUL! Clientele is fun and a bit weird but that's portland for you. ;) Overall this is my bar, and my family.

Yelp
Great neighborhood bar. First went there 18 years ago. Stop in about once a month. No smoking inside for years. Love their chicken gizzards. Most regulars grew up in the area, have low paying jobs and work hard. If you want the Ritz don't go here. Couldn't make it to the Christmas pot-luck but heard it was great. They always find a reason to have a party and they do have teeth to eat with.

Yelp
This is a good pop in bar the food is better then most.If you tip you get good drinks,1 pool table.

Yelp
Funnier than *******! Four friends decided to try this bar after a disappointing night in a well-reviewed restaurant. We loved it! The bar maid was sooo funny. The cliental were happy! And the aroma of chicken strips made us so sad we hadn't eaten there. We are definitely going back!

Jeff M.

Yelp
ceiling is collapsing in. Bartender can't pour a good drink. The beer lines are stale. Smells gross. Creepy clientele that give off a rapey vibe.
