This cafe is one of the best in Brighton. The energy in this place is rlly rlly cool. Staff is chill and down to earth. They always bring you your drink or food which I rlly like. They also have their own coffee which you can purchase and get a free drink with as well, rlly cool. The atmosphere and energy in here is rlly retro, lots of plants. Great place to work on the week days. Outside seating as well. The service is honestly rlly quick for how busy it gets sometimes. Always have to give them credit. I’ve brought all my friends here, my family and business connections as well. Everyone always asks “Can we grab a coffee at Glasser before” I’m like… yes we absolutely can. My favorite is the iced lavender latte. SOOOO GOOD. everything is legit incredible. Get anything and you won’t be disappointed. We like to get the breakfast tacos as well. Perfect quick bite. It’s not cheap but, it’s worth it for the quality. Go if you haven’t, or continue to miss out!!

Google
Cute spot for a coffee and breakfast run. A few booths to sit in and chat but not a large place. Breakfast sandwich was really tasty and filling, while the pastries were large and had great flavors. I would go here for the coffees but skip the matcha as it is a little bit underwhelming and is too milky.

Google
I love this spot! Amazing artisanal coffee beverages, they make lattes feel like an experience of mixology. Creative options, lovely atmosphere, friendly baristas, and the playlist is always poppin. Lots of vegan options too.

Beautiful cafe with trees around. I really enjoy this minimal style cafe. The coffee here is also nice, I ordered the Latte and Coconut Cake; and I enjoyed them. The latte here is so smooth and easy to drink. It’s a very good cafe to make a visit in Boston area.

Google
Best coffee shop / breakfast spot in Brighton! They have extremely delicious vegan options and great seasonal scones. The inside has a great atmosphere with tons of plants and cute decor. My favorites are the vegan breakfast bowl and ginger scone.

Google
Seems like there may be a cult following here. I was sitting in my car out front of this coffee shop waiting to go into an appointment across the street and I saw the people coming in and out. I had to check out what was going on inside 😁. The vibe here is super cool! The staff is friendly and helpful. I love the "how's it going" welcome as you enter. It's so refreshing! Will definitely come back!

Google
What a cute little place! Our dirty chai and Vietnamese cold brew were delicious, as were our breakfasts. I got a breakfast sandwich on a croissant and my partner got a breakfast bowl of some sort. Absolutely loved the sweet little tile table near the window. Has two large booths inside and barstool seating by the window as well. Nice vibes. Fun!!

Google
The vegan breakfast taco was delicious and the matcha was great too. Lots of vegan options and interesting teas and coffees

Yelp
Such a cute coffee shop in Brighton. Came here for a coffee break and ordered the lavender latte. It was so good. It's a very simple coffee shop where it opened from 7 am to 3 PM. There are different types of specialty coffees and I wouldn't mind trying another or even a snack. It's an ideal place to hang out for a little bit in the morning or early afternoon.

Cheryl S.

Yelp
Location is convenient. Nice earthy vibe with eclectic music. I like their breakfast bowl. It's filling and very tasty with a bit of spicy sauce drizzled over it. They have some good pastries as well. The staff are very chill.

Yelp
Glasser is an adorable little cafe in Brighton. Unfortunately, they do not have much seating, but it was not relatively busy when I entered on a Saturday morning. I ordered a rose matcha latte and an almond croissant. The almond croissant was not bad. It was decent in size and fluffy on the inside. I wish I had heated it up beforehand because the filling would have tasted better. The rose matcha latte was pretty good. I could taste the rose flavoring alongside the matcha, and I thought it paired nicely. It was not a mind-blowing drink, but it tasted like it was advertised, so i was pleased. They had other drinks on their menu, which I would come back to try. I did appreciate the ambiance and decor of this store and would come back to chill if I had some time to spare next time.

Yelp
This place had been on my Yelp bookmarks since moving and I had high hopes for it because it seemed very aesthetic and pretty and down to earth. So I decided to make a trek out as especially in areas of Brighton and Allston, there's less public transportation options. While it is a cute little shop tucked in Brighton with a pretty aesthetic, unfortunately the drink itself was not very worth it. I ordered an iced rose matcha latte and already it was super pricey because they charge a good dollar and half just to make the drink iced. I don't know about you but I don't trust places that charge that much just to make a drink iced?? Upon trying it, I was also a little disappointed because all you could taste was milk. There was maybe a tiny touch of matcha and rose and then nothing. It didn't have a good balance of flavors and I honestly felt like I was just drinking green milk. I don't think I will be making a trek out again. Honestly if someone on the sidewalk swiped this drink out of my hand, I wouldn't even be upset.

Yelp
The place is super cute, hipster and earthy! So are the workers. The music doesn't really match the ambiance because it was metal music so that threw me off. Coffee was yummy and tasty!!
google avatar

Yutin Z.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop in Brighton! I ordered a lavender latte and a bacon breakfast taco! Both were great! They also have vegan options for breakfast food items! The place is nicely decorated and the safe was friendly as well. The only thing is you plan to study there to note is that there is no public bathroom. Great otherwise, would recommend!

Yelp
Favorite coffee and oak square is lucky to have it. I love their vanilla lattes. My boyfriend and I go all the time! He loves their americanos. The inside is cute. Remember that they don't allow laptops on the weekends. It gets busy so might be tough to find a spot to do work during the week

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place. The decor was groovy and the staff were super friendly. Sat outside with my daughter and we just talked and laughed while drinking great coffee.
google avatar

Yelp
The hot chocolate is amazing! It has a deep chocolate flavor while light and airy. A nice and cozy store with great service.

Yelp
Cute place! I was feeling extra tired and had two drinks. I had an iced oat milk latte that was good, then I got the rose matcha- supper yummy! Great service, nice vibes, but there was no bathroom in the restaurant (option to use on close by).

Yelp
Cute, quaint, bright and cheery little coffee shop that also has some intriguing food options. I spied a breakfast taco being eaten when I was leaving and made a mental note that I'll need to try next time. Stopped in for a latte on a whim and I was pleasantly surprised. They have some unique tea beverages that you won't normally find at any coffee spot. I noted they sell bags of their own coffee, and you get a free coffee or tea long with a purchase (again, will do this next time). I also loved the greenery sprinkled throughout - adds a nice feel to the space. Also, fyi there are just 2 booths, a small 2-3 person table, and a couple of bar seats. Can't guarantee a seat if that's what you're looking for.
google avatar

Yelp
weirdest thing to me is when food establishments don't have restrooms and glasser is one of them. A small place with limited seating, usually taken up by WFH or possibly students. The matcha rose latte i had was on the powdery side but with that being said, the flavor was still nice- not too floraly while still maintaining the green flavor profile of matcha.

Yelp
Okay, I love this coffee shop. Brighton needs more of these. I only wish it was closer, I'd probably be there way too often. Great vibe, tasty food, and nice employees. The trifecta. We ordered the veggie version of the tacos with beans and potatoes, so good. Great mix of flavors. Also ordered the breakfast sandwich with a croissant and the chili oil. Yum again; though I would ask for extra chili oil next time or a combination of the chili oil and mayo because this time the chili oil was too subtle for my liking. It took a lot of time to decide which drink to get, their menu is amazing in terms of novelty. We went with the Earl grey tea latte and we were very happy with our choice. It was steaming hot, lightly sweet, and hit the spot. We conveniently placed our order online and it was ready by the time we reached Glasser to collect it. Can't wait to try more of their fantastic menu!

Yelp
Ah, Glasser. I can't speak to the coffee drinks here but I do have to say the pastries are a wonderful post-run pick-me-up. Glasser is conveniently situated along a nice running route to the Charles River and I can see myself coming here often for some much-needed carbs. Of the pastries, I've enjoyed the blueberry muffin (not sugary at all, oat-y enough in texture that I can fool myself into thinking it's actually super healthy) and the regular croissant (which I prefer to Clear Flour's, less buttery). They also have chive and coconut lemon scones, as well as a selection of breakfast foods, including tacos and a bowl. I appreciate how they offer to-go ordering if you're in a rush and/or don't want to be indoors at this time. (Just a note that 20% tip is added automatically to the online order unless you change it.) The employees (all masked) are really sweet. Once, they ran out of the almond croissant I had ordered and quickly came out to offer anything else. Some seating out front and a parking lot nearby.

Yelp
Loved this coffee shop! Enjoyed the rose matcha, ginger chai, & a breakfast sandwich! Definitely will pass by again!

Yelp
This place is small but cute. I had an oatmilk cappuccino (I wish they used Oatly instead of Califia) and a somewhat flavorless oat blueberry muffin. They have a limited pastry selection, but I would go back to try their cold brew and overnight oats.

N T.

Yelp
This place is fine. Got a vanilla latte and rose matcha; they had fine flavor but were both very sweet. Small venue with no restroom. No laptops on weekend policy. Vegan items on menu have no description.

Yelp
If you're reading this get the Rose Matcha Latte with Oat Milk!! 100/10 It was my first time here and I wasn't too sure what to expect. I prefer my matcha latte iced, but for the latte art and aesthetic I got it hot and let me tell you I was not disappointed! It was the perfect sweetness, most matcha lattes are unsweetened (a lot of people prefer it this way but I'm someone who likes drinking things slightly sweet) so I was pleased it was sweet from the rose syrup. When I took a sip, the rose flavoring wasn't overbearing! It actually tasted amazing with the matcha and I was really surprised how much I loved it (as I'm someone that isn't too fond of floral flavor drinks). It was also still super creamy with the oat milk. I'll have to try this next time iced! I also got the breakfast taco, it's $5 and comes with one, but the spicy Mayo drizzled on top of the eggs, potatoes and bacon tasted so good in the soft tortilla. This place will be one of my go-to for sure!

Yelp
Such a cute coffee shop! Wish I knew about this sooner! Breakfast sandwich and limeade was 10/10.talked to the owner and they were so sweet!
google avatar

Anthony H.

Yelp
I am so happy I discovered this place! The employees are so nice and the cafe has such a warm/welcoming vibe. I've tried the Vietnamese cold brew twice now and it's SO GOOD. I personally prefer it with half the amount of condensed milk. The breakfast taco is also delicious. 14/10 would recommend!

Yelp
Had a free morning and decided to try this place for the first time after hearing about it from a friend. There's two-hour street parking right outside, which is convenient. We came around 9:30am on a Saturday morning and one of the two booths, and the window seats were taken so luckily we got to snag the other booth. The atmosphere is very cozy and reminiscent of peaceful cafes in Asia. I got the Rose Matcha Latte and an Almond Croissant. The rose flavor was stronger than I expected, which was a nice surprise. It felt perfectly balanced with the matcha flavor. I decided halfway through my latte to order another drink, since I was already here and the entire menu looked good. I ended up also getting a Vietnamese Cold Brew. The condensed milk sat at the bottom, so it required a good stirring. I preferred the matcha latte, but that's because I'm more of a tea person than a coffee person. The croissant was flaky and while it didn't have many almonds on top, the paste inside was delicious. My partner got the Ginger Chai Latte, which was also a great combination of flavors, as well as a Breakfast Sandwich with ham over a croissant, and later on, a Peach Limeade. A little sour for my taste but that's also just my personal preference. Overall, a really cute surprise in Brighton. It seemed like it attracts people of all ages. Definitely a nice place to enjoy plants while working or catching up with a friend if you can manage to get a seat.

Yelp
Excellent small coffee shop with surprisingly a ton of seating. 3 by the window 2 outside, 2 by the wall, and 2 booths for 8 total. Soy latte (iced) was on point. Cold brew also was well brewed and not overly strong tasting, but packed a punch. Staff were courteous and said goodbye when we left. Great spot!

Rebecca R.

Yelp
I ordered a breakfast sandwich and rose matcha through doordash. I'm vegetarian so I didn't get any meat, and they really FILLED the sandwich with egg :) It was deliciously filling for such a tiny little sandwich. I couldn't even finish it (which is great because now i Have leftovers to look forward to). I'm definitely coming in person... maybe even tomorrow since I'll be in the area again! yum yum yum. I'm a matcha snob too, and their's was perfect.
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
I was very excited to try this local coffee shop. I was only going for coffee but when I saw they have a few breakfast options I decided to order a full breakfast. I got a macchiato with soy milk and a breakfast sandwich. The coffee is just alright, not bad but kinda expected more because they had a nicer coffee machine. The sandwich was really good although they added ham to it, which I didn't ask for because I'm a vegetarian and they also charged me for it
google avatar

Nicki L.

Yelp
Are you kidding?! This place was SO good!! It's been on my list for a while and I'm mad at myself for not going earlier. The Black Lavender Fog tea was hands down the best drink I've ever had. It was lusciously smooth, lightly sweet, and tasted like a liquid cloud. I also had a breakfast taco with black bean and corn salsa which was excellent - fresh, filling, and spiced perfectly! Please, please, PLEASE skip Dunkin' Donuts and spend the extra couple dollars for greatness!
google avatar

Raymond C.

Yelp
Cute little artisty coffee shop. A friend recommended this local shop to me and suggested the ice rose matcha latte. It's unique because you taste the creamy matcha sweetness with the rose infused flavor. Also like the small attention to detail with the dried rose petals to top it off.
google avatar

Ilya T.

Yelp
Found this spot while walking in the neighborhood and immediately was very excited to see some hipster folks behind the counter. Usually these tattoo covered mustached folks make a mean drink ( like pavement coffee) . After ordering a cappuccino it was evident that 1. The machine was busted or 2.they just don't care. Tasted so watered down it was gross. The breakfast runs a bit on the pricy side and features an absolute culinary blasphemy ....... unmelted cheddar cheese as a garnish. The decor is nice but that's where the party stops.

David B.

Yelp
Love this place! Definitely wish they had more seating or a bigger location because it tends to get so busy that it's a bit uncomfortable to actually sit in there. The food is pretty good. I usually get a breakfast sandwich on a croissant and I haven't been disappointed yet. It is on a the pricey side, but I'm willing to pay it because their latte was definitely pretty good
google avatar

Patrick C.

Yelp
I had the ham and cheese croissant I asked for the cheese to be melted it wasent that is only problem I had with this place but otherwise I recommend
google avatar

Janelle M.

Yelp
I've had two very different experiences here - one was very relaxing, it's a beautiful space with good coffee drinks. I was excited to come back, but the second time I came back to enjoy a coffee and do some work, the music was pretty intense and kind of ruined the atmosphere for me so I left. Also, no public restroom.
google avatar

Jack W.

Yelp
Great Unique Well Executed Coffee, Good Well Executed Flavours in all Food items, and cute atmosphere! Why three stars? The music. Yes the Music! Don't think I'm being petty or picky, I'm not. I would honestly encourage you to try this place just so you understand when I say the music is TERRIBLE. It's not a preference thing I promise, I can get down with just about anything... but this. The "music" I'm not even sure how to describe. But picture of you will the a typical EDM beat mixed with Dubstep and now instead of the song changes it sounds like a record skipping and replaying the same thing. No I'm not kidding, it was like this contemporary abstract extremely annoying beat that would loop the past 3 seconds than continue and add in random sounds. I stayed 40 min trying to work on my laptop just to see if it was one bad song or if it would change... NOPE. I sat and watched as customer after customer on a Saturday morning left rather than stay in this cute cafe because of the horrible music. It was impossible to even think. One song featured an anime-esque high pitch girls voice yelling "I'm a Rich Girl Bitch" on loop for the full duration of the 3 min son. That's it... that was the entire song. Like you really couldn't work or want to be here. You grab your great food and great coffee and run for the hills! The food Complex flavours and textures that show a clear and thoughtful design went into each item. All clearly made in house. 4.8/5. The Coffee Quality beans and well executed coffee with unique and thoughtful designed drinks using natural flavours and no syrups!

Meghan T.

Yelp
Update-- finally remembered to take some photos so adding them in! Also I went to their pop up thrift event, Sadwill. Very nice selection of thrifted clothes at a decent price and a portion of proceeds went to Brighton community fridge. We love to see it!!
google avatar

Nicole K.

Yelp
This is a lovely little cafe that's merging great aesthetics with great coffee and food. We got the London Haze, a nutty but comforting tea, and a Vietnamese Cold Brew that was smooth and lightly sweet. There was supposed to be vanilla syrup in the London Haze but I couldn't really taste it. We also shared a Breakfast Taco that is a bit on the expensive side, but would definitely recommend if you're visiting this spot in Oak Square. You can choose between black bean and corn salsa or bacon, and although we opted for the bacon, I'd go back to try the black bean and corn salsa. The potatoes were nice and crispy, and the spicy mayo tied everything together. It's also light, and not heavy at all like some breakfast foods can be. I'll be back to try the Rose Matcha Latte, and hope to dine inside once the pandemic's over as this is a cute place to work or catch up with friends.
google avatar

Taylor S.

Yelp
Love this place! Its my regular weekend treat, and is my favorite espresso and breakfast taco in the city. (The breakfast taco is a bit pricey at $5 so I was hesitant to order it at first, but it's actually stuffed with enough filling for 2 normal sized tacos so I think the value is very fair). So happy to have a delicious local coffeeshop in Oak Square!

Michelle F.

Yelp
Love this local coffee shop in oak square with great coffee and super friendly staff! Try the Vietnamese cold brew or the peach limeade. They also have great food- the breakfast tacos are good and you get a lot of food for the price. There's a sidewalk patio right out front with lots of seating and you'll see all sorts of different folks from the neighborhood stopping in.

Han + Van C.

Yelp
A great way to start our Saturday morning! I ordered the Ginger Chai Latte with soy milk, iced. It had a really warm, spicy flavor. It was a tad sweet, but not to the point where I felt like I couldn't drink it. Van thought it was too sweet for her liking. 4/5. Van ordered the Iced Coffee with Oat Milk. Your standard iced coffee with a solid nutty flavor. It came with a bit too much ice, though I'm sure you can specify if you want less ice. 4/5. In terms of food, we shared the Breakfast Sandwich with no meat and a Lemon Coconut Scone. The sandwich was decent. The bread was soft and chewy. The egg was fluffy. The spicy mayo and cheddar cheese were flavorful. It was not too salty. I really liked it when it was freshly made, although the quality declined as it cooled (but as expected). Van felt it was too squishy. 3/5. The scone was a bit dry but yummy! The lemon flavor came through and balanced nicely with the incorporated coconut flakes. The icing was well distributed among the exterior of the scone and added a delicate touch of texture over the baked good. However, the dryness ultimately detracted from the overall experience. 3.5/5. The interior offered an aesthetic vibe. I loved the plants and furniture. The staff were super friendly and not intimidating at all. It was a bit pricey, but for the ambience, quality, and rising inflation, we can't expect much. The place is relatively small, so keep in mind if trying to find a place to sit. They have outdoor seating shaded by the proximal foliage. We sat inside and beat the noon rush. There is a lot of free parking nearby.

Yelp
Stopped by Glasser Coffee while visiting Boston this past weekend and y'all it was so darn good! I got a mocha and added a shot of homemade hazelnut syrup and oh my gosh, it was heaven in a cup! The flavors were amazing and the coffee was wonderful! The space is also absolutely beautiful and I adore all the plants they have! Definitely worth a stop and I'm excited to go back the next time I'm in town.

Tiffany K.

Yelp
Leaving this review not only because I love Glasser, but to offset the three star review below. I come here almost every week for an iced latte, and occasionally food. It's exceptional. Every. Time. And every employee is always kind. It's a shame people would give a lower rating for a hardworking local business (for food service, not an entertainment store) just because they don't personally enjoy the music.

Blanca M.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Very friendly staff in a super cute coffee shop! 10/10 would recommend
google avatar

Tetsu C.

Yelp
I'm in love with this coffee shop! It's one of a kind and stand alone the most unique coffee shop in Boston. I had the matcha rose latte and the Vietnamese cold brew for drinks. Both drinks were excellent and refreshing on a warm summer morning. Also had the taco and the breakfast sandwich and they were awesome. Visit this place yourself and you'll know what I'm saying. Support local business!!

Julia M.

Yelp
vegan sandwich chefs kiss!!!! good lattes! i love it here there is something for everyone :)

Yelp
WOW. WOW. WOW. The tacos and coffee are full of AMAZING flavor! (I'm Mexican-American from LA--I know about the taco game.) I got a matcha rose latte and it was absolutely delightful and sweet--not bitter! :) The lil' $5 tacos with egg, potatoes, cheese, and your choice of black bean & corn salsa OR bacon drizzled with spicy mayo, garnished with cilantro and black sesame seeds brought me SO much joy and FLAVOR! This some fancy LA Taco truck sh**. Big ups and much love to the Kim's who are killin' it with the grand opening of this cafe. (I don't know them, but I'm so grateful they're here!) 100% of the staff was super friendly, warm and welcoming. A+++ Glasser Coffee Co. comes correct!
google avatar

Jonah L.

Yelp
Very good drinks and great breakfast taco. Had the rose matcha latte and it was great!
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
The hot drip coffee was quite solid. The breakfast sandwich on ciabatta was pretty good. The breakfast taco was good, but at $5 too expensive. The staff is super friendly and nice, and the ambience inside is comfortable and chill.
google avatar

Alisa C.

Yelp
Walked 28 minutes to get here and it was worth it! I am looking forward to making this a regular weekend morning event. I got the rose matcha latte with oat milk and it is SO good and not too sweet. The shop has a mellow vibe and I am looking forward to studying here when dine-in resumes.
google avatar

Megan F.

Yelp
This cafe offers unique specialty drinks with house made syrup. I got the rose matcha latte and my friend got the London haze. Both were unique and good. The rose matcha latte was a little tiny bit sweet for my taste, but overall it's delicious. Next time I might request them to do a little less syrup for my taste. The taco was great too! The spicy Mayo on top gave it an extra kick. Looking forward to coming back and try more of their drinks and food. The interior is very cute and I hope when the restrictions lessens we can enjoy this space!
google avatar

Vincent T.

Yelp
One of my go-to's! I like their lavender coffee, mocha latte, and viet cold brew. Come here some time

Elizabeth P.

Yelp
So pumped to have a new hip coffee shop/breakfast place in the area! The decorations are on point, the iced tea was really flavorful and the breakfast taco was delicious! I'd say they're a little on the expensive side but looking forward to seeing their menu expand and becoming a regular!

Anna F.

Yelp
The place was super cute and the breakfast sandwich was delicious and the coffee was really good too!! Definitely will be coming back here.
