Top notch donuts. This place is cashless and you order on a kiosk. There’s tons of donuts to choose from. If I’m ever at a place and Oreo is on the menu that’s what I opt for. I also ordered a glaze and maple glaze. They’re so tasty. Very soft and made to order. I mostly order to go but sometimes I stay and enjoy them there. There are tables available. This could be a cool spot to work from but there is no WI-FI so bring your own. Parking can be tricky. The spaces at the establishment (which is shared with other retail shops) are very tight. However, on the left side of the business there are more parking spaces available. This place stays open late and it’s family owned and operated. If you’re ever in the 3rd Ward/ Medical Center do your self a favor and stop by Glazed.

Soooo yummy! 10/10 on the glazed chicken sandwich and the glazed ham, egg and cheese! Also they hand bread the chicken and it's just *chef's kiss*! Also the guys were so nice and they don't take long at all to make the sandwiches!

First time here but not the last. Very friendly staff and clean all around. Mouth watering donuts and great tasting black coffee which is my preferred type. Could not help myself and had to eat two donuts. Looking for a quiet place than I would suggest you try it. ☕️🍩

The dirty zebra donut (vanilla icing + chocolate and caramel sauce) was really good. The donut itself tasted like a combination of dough and cake - pretty good! I appreciate that the donuts are made to order and you can order at a kiosk.

I'm not a donut person. My daughter talked me into coming to glazed, she picked out a bacon and tutti-frutti. They are so cute and very tasty! My cashier was wonderful and friendly! But this was 2 months ago. Hope I don't get the employees in these recent reviews.

This place is ok at best. I got the glazed and the strawberry cheesecake and both weren’t great. The glazed was especially bad - not even close to Shipleys and it was too bready. The strawberry cheesecake lacked in flavor but it was filled with strawberry filling. Service isn’t great either. Pass

You must try the glazed burger!! The donut dough taste like it's been sitting there quite a while, but the flavored glazing makes it delicious!! My son's favorite donut/burger stop! Definitely recommended.

I'll admit, the doughnuts didn't look tasty--presentation was lacking--but the flavor was definitely there in almost all of the doughnuts I tried. They were all delicious. All of my doughnuts were fresh, maybe because I placed a pick up order online? Service was fast, and I even got a free drink! Of all the doughnuts I tried only the plain glazed and lemon poppy seed were lacking in flavor. Some of the others were ridiculously sweet (like the creme brulee), but still quite tasty. I really like that they're open 24/7 and have a good selection of crazy flavors fit to satisfy almost any doughnut craving. I'm really looking forward to coming back here!

Yes! It's honestly one of the best donut shops I've been to. They're open late, which is nice. Their glazed and bacon donut are my absolute favorite!

I had a sugar craving after lunch and this place right around the corner. The doughnut flavors caught my attention. Macon. Maple bacon. Who doesn't love bacon?!! I also tried the strawberry cheesecake (filled), Boston crème pie (filled), churro (filled), crème brûlée (filled) and s'mores. My favorite of them all was the Boston crème pie, the filling ratio to donut was perfect. I was disappointed with the crème brûlée- I was not expecting the hint of banana flavoring. All of the donuts have a thick doughy texture, not a melt in your mouth type of donut. Not my favorite donut shop and not sure I'll be back any time soon. And they can't double up deals- choose wisely- choose 5 and get 2 free or 15% off yelp coupon.

So I tried the s'mores donut the other day. Super delicious, unique and not overwhelming! The toasted marshmallows were a nice touch and the gram-cracker sprinkle with the chocolate swirl was perfect! Just the right amount of ingredients. Thoroughly enjoyed this donut!

I picked up a box of donuts from Glazed and thought they were just about average. We tried the glazed, chocolate glazed, and strawberry glazed donuts. In my opinion, the bread was slightly sweet without a strong taste, and the flavored glaze on top was thin and quickly melting off the sides. While they didn't exactly taste bad, I'm not sure I would come back with all the other donut spots to choose from.

Recently checked this place out for the first time when visiting Houston. Loved that I can see my sweets being prepared! There were many flavor to choose from but I decided on strawberry cheesecake, apple pie and s'mores! All were AMAZING! Other cool aspects about the location: it's black-owned, open 24/7, and offers daily specials. I will be be for sure!

Love this location for dine in, to go and door dash. We have always had a great experience. The breakfast sandwiches are so yummy! I prefer to order ahead and pick it up, but if you have other errands to run in the strip center at Walgreens or the UPS store next door it's a great place to grab a quick bite.

The only reason why I did not give full 5 stars is because I wanted to feel my arteries clogged but the donut felt like a diet donut. The donuts tasted very homemade! The glazed donuts were less sweet than your average donut chains. The volume of the donut was like biting into a Tempurpedic bed. You bite it, and it bounces back like an inflatable. I wanted more flavor to be honest. I will come back to try more flavors. Out of all 3 flavors, I tried my favorite was the maple.

Kinda average. Donuts aren't spectacular. Honestly, I can get about this quality at the local grocery store. My kid liked his sprinkle donut; my crème brûlée was a bit doughy/heavy. Fresh really is best y'all.

I've been going to Glazed for over 6 years now. In terms of gourmet donuts in the Houston area they can hold their own with anybody. Over the years I've tried: Oreo Doughnut, Butterfingers Doughnut, Raspberry Coconut Doughnut, Peanut Butter Cup Doughnut, Macon Doughnut, Glaze Breakfast Sandwich, and all of them were great BUUUUT none can touch the Apple Pie Doughnut!!! By far my favorite donut ever. Typically I'm not a fan of stuffed donuts but the rules do not apply here. You won't be disappointed!

Ahhhh, glazed! Why must you pop up in my Ubereats app at 2 a.m. in the morning while my sweet tooth awakens for the fifth time that night? As a result, you have planted a doughnut seed in my brain which leads to me craving a donut with my morning coffee. Luckily, glazed promotes itself as a reliable after hours spot with decadent specialty donuts. Last night, there were two donuts that caught my eye: the Maple Bacon Macon and the donut with sprinkles. As I made my coffee, I ordered both, and after learning that donuts can be frozen, also purchased a glaze and cinnamon sugar donut for my next craving. I received the donuts within 20 minutes of my placing the order, and they looked exactly as I imagined. Since the bacon donut was the star of the hour, I dug in immediately. I didn't think this would've been a good mix but, they're definitely on to something. It's familiar yet different in each bite. All in all, the donuts were light, filling, and perfect to enjoy with your morning coffee. I'm going to have to be very careful with Glazed + my Ubereats app since they've both obviously set out to derail my 2022 fitness goals lol! I recommend.

My way of celebrating Black History Month on Yelp is to support our local black-owned businesses. I learned about history of Glazed The Doughnuts Cafe from years ago on social media. This restaurant has been so successful. I want them to continue doing what they do best for the community - make delicious and fresh donuts and sandwiches. I love the business model at this location - 24/7 and located within a luxury apartment building. I don't live around here. But I always try to find time to swing by. Because of sugar content, I can only buy one to eat in and 2 for takeout. They are always packed in fancy gift boxes. Because they were made to order. Super fresh. Double delicious. There is no other donut house can compare. Yesterday, I came for pineapple upside down donut. Because I noticed menu has different items from my last visit. I love pineapple and was very surprised with triple deliciousness. The warm donut was dusted with brown sugar and topped with a caramelized pineapple and a red cherry in the hole. Yum once. Yum twice. Triple Yum. I'll be back for more exotic donuts. Until next time.

Not sure what took me so long to try Glazed but I finally got the opportunity and it didn't disappoint! I got the almond coconut donut and Oreo/peanut butter donut (around $3 each). Both were great, but the Oreo/peanut butter was a standout since the salty peanut butter balanced the sweetness of the donut and Oreo toppings. Despite being super indulgent, I was able to finish my donut in one go. I love not only that they're super close to me, but also a Black-owned local business, open 24/7, and vegan!!! I'm super impressed! Only thing to note is since they're made to order, the wait for these donuts was like 10-15 minutes (and we were the only ones there).

Glazed Donuts is a must! They have a variety of different donuts! All unique with their twist and all delicious! Our favorite donut shop! We visited last week again with my son and Ramona was a sweetheart! She was kind, welcoming and polite! Thank you Ramona and the Glazed donut team for making delicious donuts! We love it here!

This used to be an annual donut stop we looked forward to on visits to the med center. Today was extremely disappointing I'm of the opinion if you open at 6AM and customer places an order at 7:30 you should have all the daily necessities to be open ie. plastic gloves, digital menu updated for true reflection of menu items prior to ordering. And the young lady behind the counter had a I could care less about my job or your order. First time ever leaving a donut shop without donuts. But, waiting 25 minutes without donuts and being told in a lazy fashion of donuts ordered you don't have the supplies

The donuts are premade and reheated. Quite possibly frozen and defrosted and icing poured ontop. The donut is rubbery. Gross.

Where else can you find a 24 hour "fancy" donut shop? Hankering for some sweets at 3am? Donuts with flair for breakfast? Glazed dishes out some mean donuts with toooons of options for flavors in yeast, cake, and filled donut (yeah sorry, I spell it "donut" instead of "doughnut") varieties. They even have donut holes, fritters, and cinnamon rolls! Super love the Reese's flavor-- a chocolate frosted yeast donut with a peanut butter drizzle and crowned with a Reese's cup. Heck yeah-- sweet and a teeny bit savory with the pb, the flavor is super satisfying! Take a look at their extensive flavor options on their website; they have simple glazed and frosted to toppings like bday cake, smore's, Oreos, Fruit Loops, Heath bar, almonds, and of course, their famous maple bacon. It was a bit off-putting to see little fruit flies frolicking around on the display donuts in the case which gives the place a feeling like it's not the cleanest. However besides that, the counters, tables, and everything else was spotless and clean! You can watch your donuts being made behind a big window, and the kitchen is organized and clean. I can see why there's a bit of a wait because they make these to order, so if you're in hurry, it might be best to call in to order ahead of time. They don't fry the actual donuts to order, but the flavors (glaze/icing + toppings) aren't added until you order. When I was the only one in the shop, they quoted a 15 min wait for a dozen donuts, and it really was 15 minutes! Pro tip: the icing is hot when you get it. That means if you close the box of donuts, they'll steam themselves-- that's why your crunchy toppings (like cereal and cookie pieces) get soggy! I keep the box open on the drive back, and it helps. Always great to have a 24 hour option, will be coming back for sure!

The self-ordering kiosk is very easy to use. Chai latte was delicious and employees were nice!

Very clean and nice place ! EUGENE helped us and he was very very nice ! About the best customer service I've had in awhile. He was very quick and suggestions! We loved all the donuts and definitely will be coming back ! When you go definitely ask for Eugene, very nice guy !

I randomly walked in here around lunch on a Friday and I'm so glad I did! This place is adorable. I love that they have displays and labels of each donut in the menu. Honestly what something looks like is more helpful to me than names. I ordered the maple and bacon donut. DELICIOUS! So yummy. It's a specialty donut so two cost me $7 which is pricy, but this is a great once in awhile treat. You deserve it!

Working here must be fantastic, you get to hang out, shoot the shit, maybe catch a YouTube video or 2, just straight chill, regardless of whether customers are present or not. As the only customer in the store and an individual trying to get a tasty sandwich before work, it took 15 minutes for the employees begin preparing my order. So look, I'm not trying to get gourmet service at a donut shop, look at how i spell donut! I used to work in the service industry so i get that it can get slow and we are not robots. But don't, like, not make my food in front of me. That is just disrespectful, especially when i can see nothing being done. If you have like 20+ minutes to wait for 3 donuts, this is the place for you!

I was visiting Houston from Kentucky. I wanted to try a doughnut spot because they're one of my favorite desserts and a friend recommended this place to me. The store is small but cute. Once you're inside you pick which donuts you want from the display and then they are made for you. I ordered a creme brûlée and chocolate iced doughnut. They were very good and sweet! The employee who helped me was very nice and very patient as I debated what I wanted (I was very indecisive). And he even gave me a free box of donut holes. I will definitely visit again.

I love, love, really love a good donut. Donuts are one of the best things about America. The calorie side is the only downfall of a donut These donuts are made to order SO GOOD!!!!! My eyes bugged out when I saw the assortment that was available to choose from. Friday night in Houston and the lady that served us was so friendly and amazing. I hope the owners of this business appreciate her. Not only was her customer service great she kept cleaning all surfaces and engaging with the customers in a super cheerful way The chocolate caramel pecan donut is probably the best donut I have had in years. It came out warm with a generous topping. The chocolate glaze enhanced the caramel and pecans on top The donut did not dissolve in my mouth or cling to the top. There was enough substance to the baby of the donut to transport my taste buds to donut heaven. We even tried a vegan donut. This was not as horrible as I imagined it to be. So if you are vegan try one new vegan one

Went here and there seemed to not really be anyone working. Had to order on the kiosk. The clerk would not take an in person order no matter what. Coffee was pretty mid. Ultimately will not be coming back.

I hate doughnuts .....until now. Lol, I am not a doughnut person. Pre-pandemic, I often brought doughnuts to work but never ate them. I gotta be in the mood for them and I am rarely in that mood but..... A friend sent me a stream of pictures from Glazed the Doughnut and I knew I had to try them. Had to drive in to work (Med Center) to pick something up and stopped on the way home. I think the owner came out and greeted me as well as took my order (looked it up after) Super friendly. There are glass cases on the counter with the different doughnuts. He said their most popular was the maple bacon doughnut but that was too much. For me. The doughnut was covered in bacon. COVERED. The 2nd most popular one was the strawberry cheesecake. Done. I also got the raspberry coconut (I love coconut). Check, check. They seem to cost between $1.49 -3.59 (plain - fancy). They also sell sandwiches and drinks. Strawberry cheesecake - decadent and delicious Raspberry coconut - great combo, if you like coconut, you will love this, covered with coconut flakes I wasn't sure if this would be a win since I have a love/hate relationship with doughnuts but these are def game changers. I also like that it's minority owned and not some big conglomerate because I believe in supporting local. I am definitely going back for the bacon one (called macon lol) and to try a few more varieties (lemon poppy seed, kit kat, oreos, pineapple upside down....)

I'm a doughnut aficionado and I gotta say, unfortunately, this place was not the bizness. I ordered early on a Saturday morning (like 9am) just to ensure I got the first and freshest batch but, when they got to me, they still tasted stale. They tasted like they were yesterday's doughnuts. I wasn't impressed at all. I'm a purist when it comes to the foods that I love most--give it to me straight,no chaser, no fancy stuff. So, no matter what else I order, I always order a plain glazed to truly test out a doughnut shop. If you can do plain glazed, you can do anything. Again, I was underwhelmed. It wasn't fresh tasting, there was no "give" or chewiness to the doughnut, just not good at all. Same with the cinnamon sugar and the Cap'n Crunch was just sad. The glazed chicken sandwich was not good at all. The chicken was way over-seasoned and once again, stale doughnut. I couldn't tell you how the bacon, egg and cheese doughnut was because we never ate it since we were so disappointed with everything else. Despite the taste, my biggest issue with this spot was the price! Everything was wayyyyyyy overpriced. I'm talking $3.50 for one donut and nearly $7 for these sandwiches that didn't meet expectations. The menu also needs work, they don't even have a plain cake doughnut; that should be a staple. I wish I could get a refund. Not pleased.

Five stars for Glazed Bakery. I ordered three dozen donuts for a breakfast event at work. After asking a few nurses at TCH it was clear that Glazed Donuts was a local favorite. I made an inquiry via email and received a prompt responses from Chris and Tania. I was able to place my order and pick up the very next day. The donuts are unlike anything I've ever seen or tasted. Not only are the toppings unique(Lucky Charms, Fruit Loops, coconut, and Oreo, to name a few) the FLAVOR of the donuts are delicious. Not too sweet, warm and soft. When I entered the bakery, I walked into "donut heaven" I was greeted my one of the bakers, Felicia, she not only welcomed me with a huge smile, she also helped me to the car with my order. She provided extra napkins and forks, which saved me from making an extra stop to Kroger's. Next time I'm in Houston I will definitely stop by again to try more flavors. The donuts were a great conversation starter to begin my meeting. The number one question being "Which flavor did you eat?" Only 6 mins from the Medical Center .

This place opens 24 hours which is a plus if you crave for donuts late at night or odd hours. The bad thing is that like other reviews, donuts taste stale. The glazed breakfast donuts was overly greasy and over priced for what it is. I'm giving 2 stars because customer service was friendly.

Great service, doughnuts are fresh and delicious. Split the lemon filled, the chocolate filled with cream cheese and the bacon covered chocolate doughnut. The lemon was good, but highly recommend the cream cheese filled and the bacon covered. Just be ready because there warm and a little messy.

Words can't described the awesome taste of their specialty donuts and breakfast croissants. I've been coming to this place for years and they always taste fresh. Highly recommend and to top it off the owner and staff are very helpful and respectful!! 10 Stars!!!

I love this place. I'm a sweet eater to the core and I love donuts! Like forget about Krispy and come here. I always get the maple bacon glazed, the cream cheese icing filled and the Reese cup. Listen, if you love Reese cups you will adore this one. I put mine in the microwave for 13 seconds and it is so good. The last time I was here I got the sausage, egg and cheese donut sammich. Talk about delicious! You can also get a cheeseburger on a donut too!

Well, the donuts are good an I love the variety. Sometimes they do have a bit too much sweetness. Also, the drinks are not recommended. I bough a latte and I hated it. Had to throw it away. They really need to rethink hot drinks. I recommend only the donuts. The nutty donuts are the best.

A 24hr donut spot that's fresh and great!!! First time coming after looking at multiple donut places we landed on Glazed The Doughnut Cafe and it was the perfect choice. The guy at the front was very sweet and helped us with questions about the different donuts. The place was also super clean and you can see them making fresh donut batches in the back!! We ordered the Red Velvet which was super moist and just the right amount of sweet glaze. We also got the Banana Pudding donut which lives up to its name! Lastly we ordered a traditional Chocolate Sprinkle Glazed and it did not disappoint. The pricing is fair for having fresh made donuts on a ready to order based instead of having ones that have sat for hours. We will definitely be returning for more and different flavors!

My youngest daughter, my wife and I decided to try six different donuts and a sausage/egg/cheese croissant from this local donut shop because we saw some enticing pictures that reminded us of Duck Donuts. The donuts didn't taste as good as they looked. All six were too sweet for our liking. The cake and normal donut doughs were fried ok, nothing extraordinary. The croissant was a little too greasy, but tasted good. The biggest negative was the pricing. The ordinary tasting 6 donuts were not worth $19. The croissant was overpriced at $6. Service was friendly and quick.

Not impressed...definitely NOT fresh donuts. Granted, I went midday but they claimed they were being made right at that moment and that they would be fresh. Cold, stale, and not as they look on the case (the chocolate covering was a light brown instead of a dark chocolate color). They are also not light and fluffy but more bread like... If you're a donut junkie like me, this is not the place for you. If you're not picky I can see them being better if they were actually warm/fresh. Very friendly cashier!

So the cool thing about this spot is that each donut order is made once you place your order. That ensures that your order is fresh. Cute little store front, but parking could be an issue during busier times of day. I checked in and received a 15% discount, but I still paid $13 bucks for 4 donuts. The goods: Lemon Poppyseed: It was ok. The lemon wasn't overpowering, which is a plus. Delicate flavor, but regular. If you are not looking to walk on the wild side too much, this is your donut. Praline: It did not give me the praline vibe. I did like that it was not excessively sweet. Something about the topping did not wow me, but I could not determine what. Pecan Melody: This was a very distinguished donut. I enjoyed the balance of pecan to sweetness ratio. It almost made you think you were eating a healthy snack. Churro: My FAVE! The filling was EVERYTHING! If you are not a big cinnamon fan then steer clear of this one. It is a sweet, cinnamon, conundrum that I would order again and again. Business suggestions: Maybe label the donuts in the case to further assist visual patrons such as myself. Create a variety pack that allows patrons to mix and match to try different flavors, even if it is just a promotional offering. 4 donuts for 10 bucks! Everyone loves a sale. Overall it was an ok experience...a bit pricey, but a welcome change to the ho-hum of the average donut.

Absolutely disappointed with the service. I can care less to try their donuts at this point. The one the tried to help me was named Precious and it first day at work. She asked another lady, Ramona to verify how to use the Groupon when I showed her a print out. Ramona came out and began YELLING at me that she needs to see it on the phone not in a print out. Precious was shocked as I am with Ramona's serious attitude. Precious agreed with me that she could have said it to me nicely than yelling. Good service is everything! I asked to see the owner since the door states "Family owned and operated" The new helper said we are not owner. Owner is not in. To the owner: You have so many cameras in your store. You should investigate how your employees treat your customers. Customers won't come back with this type of attitude.

Tiny little doughnut shop near the medical center/NRG. We came early (6am), so there was plenty of parking and no wait. There is a huge selection of interesting donuts (from cereal topped, to filled, and even donut sandwiches)... It's a bit pricey (you're paying for gourmet), but everything we tried was fresh and yummy.

Great customer service, fresh, and tasteful! Eugene the gentleman working the entire store by himself did an amazing job. I will come back again. It was my first time but I am definitely pleased!

My guy friend had a Groupon for Glazed an we arrived here at 12am and thankfully they were open. 24 hours. Awesome! I read on the door that they were family owned and noticed that they are black owned too. We walked in and wasn't greeted, but the chick that served us was nice. Even the guy working there was friendly too. We got the assortment of donuts: were plentiful and nicely displayed. The donuts were tasty, but not as sweet as I would have liked them.

We took a stroll around the block and found this glazed gem . The restaurant had spots to sit down and enjoy or to take it to go . It was very clean throughout the store and the gentleman working was also very nice ! There were SO many options to choose from , but they had a display donut of every flavor with the label of what it was to help decide what looked and sounded the best . Our donuts were warm and so filling ! The donuts with bacon were the perfect combination of salty and sweet ! The churro donut was super sweet and the filling was remarkable ! The peanut butter donut ... the peanut butter itself was so creamy and warm ! The ratio of chocolate to peanut butter was spot on ! Will definitely be back !

I'm pretty sure I got like six donuts for $20 or something here, and I think this is a fantastic deal (coming from NYC and not TX, duh). The place is open 24/7 which means the donuts can (or potentially always) come out fresh. Ours were definitely made fresh which makes makes things even sweeter. Staff was friendly, space is clean, and I couldn't get over how cheap the specialty donuts are. So all in all: a good find.

Went in yesterday to celebrate #nationaldoughnutday because I heard Glazed is the absolute best in Houston. I gotta say I was extremely impressed. Although the interior is on the small side, the staff did great with implementing social distancing measures. The other customers that were there all adhered and did their part which made me feel very comfortable. On to the doughnuts ..... OMG were they awesome. The amount of the different creations made it very hard to choose. I ended up with a Pecan Melody, Death by Chocolate, Creme Brulee, & Banana Pudding. Each one was more interesting and full of flavor than the last. Will definitely be making my way through every menu choice. Go to Glazed when you're in the mood for that perfect bite of heaven - You won't be disappointed

The donut flavors & taste were good but the donuts were stale. Yes, I realize it was about 8:30 pm but if you offer 24 hour service then the food should be acceptable the whole 24 hours.

Great find, easy access and parking. Found this little gem through Yelp. I'm usually a Shipleys girl but today I wanted something special and different since I had time before work to take donuts in and we always have Shipleys. Anyway, could not have been happier with the donuts. They were amazing. I got two assorted dozen for the office. They were beautiful fresh and everybody loved them. I wish I had taken a picture! Will definitely be back.

Wow chicken donut is better than I though. Nice place as well, keep it up! Will be coming again.
