Glen Ivy Hot Springs

Glen Ivy Hot Springs was an amazing experience from start to finish. The online reservation process was simple, and check-in was swift and easy, which made the day start stress-free. The bathhouse is separated by gender, very clean, and well organized. As someone in healthcare, cleanliness and hygiene matter a lot, and Glen Ivy did an excellent job. The bathhouse includes free lockers, sauna, Roman spa, showers stocked with spa products, hair dryers, and many thoughtful extras that make the visit comfortable and relaxing. We did the Grotto experience, and it was truly relaxing and memorable. After that, we explored the different hot springs—from natural mineral pools to contrast therapy and lap pools. Each one had its own charm. The mud experience was also fantastic and something we will definitely repeat. The food menu is “guiltless” with many options for different dietary preferences. The vegan nachos were amazing, and the beverage selection, including wines, was extensive. We went for Valentine’s Day, and it was a beautiful, peaceful day with my wife Yanira. We had a great time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone needing a relaxing reset.

Technically, I can't speak for any of the services or rooms since I only went for the pools and baths, but this place was really worth the trip. It's 75 per person during the week, 95 for Saturdays and 85 for Sundays. There's more charges for other services like the spa services and massages. Food and drink are, of course, extra charges, as well. We really got our money's worth, though, and we were there from 10am to almost 4pm trying out and relaxing in all the baths and pools around the site. There was a clay bath, a mineral bath, lap pool, several normal pools, a saline bath, a Roman bath, a vista pool, a cold plunge and hot plunge combo, and a nice lounge pool where you could lay on floaters and just chill out. You could rent robes for something like 30 bucks, or you could just use a towel for free, and they had an abundance of towels everywhere. The pools were all perfectly controlled, and it was such a nice day out that I never felt uncomfortable in just my bathing suit. For lunch, we grabbed some food at the Ivy Kitchen - we shared the nachos, the burger, the pizza, and the taco trio. Surprisingly, it was the nachos that was the best part of the ensemble, but it was a nice amount of food to share between three people. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would totally come back with friends or more of my family! (I would've added more photos of the resort itself, but it didn't feel right to snap photos where there were people in their bathing suits)

Would love to have given a better rating but I believe in first impressions and Sofi at the front desk wasn’t what I would call warm or even friendly. I’m not sure costumer service is the job for her. Not a Hello or a smile just asked us for our waivers and our credit cards to pay. The amenities are nice and clean at paying $15 for a cocktail that’s not made with spirits, but made with Soju is completely out of hand. They also add the tip on your tab as well. Just not sure I’ll be back.

Came from Chicago to take my niece for a spa day for her birthday. Very disappointing. We drove an hour &1/2 from LA. Not worth the drive, don’t let the pictures fool you. It looks to be a very large amazing space, in reality it is very small! It was so pack, we didn’t get a chance to use ANY of the salt pools or what they call a mud bath. It literally has a pile of mud on a small stand? Our massages were ok, not great. Mine felt very generic. Definitely won’t go back. It wasn’t inexpensive

Had an amazing time! Went on Jan 2nd, which is probably one of their less busy days, but even then felt pretty crowded already so I can't imagine during their busy season. Make sure to bring your own robe and slippers. Towels are complimentary. No need to bring your own locks either; plenty of lockers. Very clean facilities. Great water pressure in their showers. Club mud was great! Glad it's included in basic admission.

This tranquil Oasis feels like you are in Hawaii with the lush vegetation and the backdrop of the Ortega hills. Even with the development taking over the surrounding area you don't feel any of the urban take over. Relax floating in a lounge pool or taking a dip in one of the plethera of mineral water pools. The food and drinks are exceptional as well. I recommend getting a 100 min massage either at the start or end of your day, you do not want to watch the clock all day in this place

Jorge is such a gem. We had a wonderful time celebrating my mother’s birthday, all thanks to our fantastic host. He was so thoughtful and attentive, and I cannot thank him enough for making our day so special. Our cabana was quiet and secluded, the grounds were clean and peaceful—as always, and our service was top tier. Highly recommend our massage therapist, Keke!

Staff was nice and helpful. The place was clean and well stocked. Staff was always seen refilling water, throwing away old towels, etc. The spas, saunas, and pools were a great way to de-stress after a long week of work. We used the 2 for $120 deal for a friend and I. Excellent experience overall. We're planning on coming back here again, totally worth the money. Also Food was also excellent. We had the calamari, flatbread was cooked perfectly 👌, and the lobster bisque soup was great.

Honestly loved our time at Glen Ivy. Nicely kept grounds, friendly staff, and a pretty good value from their Passport to Wellness package. The passport includes: -Cabana rental -Plush robe to use all day -Dedicated wait staff -Welcome Mimosa -Appetizer -Entree -Sangria -Grotto Access -Admission into the resort -Up front parking -50 minute massage or facial A few tips: -Last call for bevvies is 3:30pm -Cocktails are all wine based spirits since no liquor license -9am admission for Passport guests, 9:30am admission for all others (get there early) -Hit Club mud earlier and Grotto later in the day (last appt check-in is 4pm) -Free admission on your birthday ($65 value and they'll deduct it from any package you pick) Didn't really enjoy my facial this time, would probs opt for a massage next time. Felt like she was just gliding over my skin. Lots of pools to explore and pretty good food. Great value with their nachos (huge portion) and a great burger (double patty). The Mai Tai was the strongest drink today and plenty of water stations around. Didn't take too many pics today as I was able to fully disconnect and enjoy the grounds. Would def come back and do the Passport to Wellness for the value.

Let's start with the positive. The staff was generally friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were well priced and delicious with the multiple options. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. My massage was decent, but nothing out of this world. Now for the negative, so this feels like a coed resort. I felt like I was at Disneyland most of the time because there were so many people. The mineral baths were always overcrowded. The dressing rooms are not well laid out and extremely busy most of the time. The hallways in the dressing room are narrow and difficult to navigate. I would not classify this as a relaxing experience, however, it wasn't horrible. I most likely will not go back. I pretty much feel like I've been there and done that and I'm not particularly excited to go back. When I go to a spa, my goal is to relax. I felt overstimulated most times.

We celebrated a "Retirement girls getaway trip" and our pool hostess was the amazing Brooke. Although the other ladies had been to Glen Ivy, it was my first time. Brooke explained the property to us and escorted us to our cabana. She was very attentive which such a pleasant and bubbly personality. She made our day stay exciting. And if things couldn't get any better she showed explained the Terrance Cabana to us and since it was towards the end of the day, she moved us in there just so we can have that experience. We were elated. She took such good care of us with refreshments, taking pictures for us and just overall 5 star customer care. She is simply the BEST. We will definitely request Brooke for all of future trips to Glen Ivy. Thank you Brooke for making our experience memorable. We also enjoyed the amenities of mineral soak, club mud, jacuzzi and pool. Facials and massages were outstanding. The overall vibe was relaxing and fulfilling. Everyone was pleasant from the point of entry to the point of exiting the grounds. We will be back!!

A quick disclaimer as I have never been to a spa. This was my first time ever experiencing one. I booked the trip online for a friend's birthday celebration at the beginning of the month. FYI, they provide a free entry on your birthday. Booking online was easy, they provide detailed descriptions and services. I got the stress solution package which included the grotto activity. I also booked the vital energy massage for the two of us. The total was $500 for the two of us with everything I listed. A week later, I realized I used the wrong card and called up the spa. They helped me out with wanting to use a different card. The day arrived. Since I had no idea what to wear, so I wore my jeans and blouse. We checked in with a QR code. This confirmed if we completed the liability waiver. We showed it the security checking bags, asking if we had vapes/cigarettes. We then went to the lobby where we confirmed our reservation. The receptionist gave us a map and showed us where everything was. She recommended the ivy kitchen and where to get drinks. We received a wrist band for alcoholic drinks. The spa had a Starbucks on the premises, and we got a drink and pastries. We went to the bathhouse where the lockers were to change and put our stuff away. At this time, I already knew I wanted to come back. We went to our scheduled massage at Villa 1. You also have to sign a waiver for the massage. I was called in first. Patricia was my masseuse. She led me into a separate room with the daybed and relaxing music was playing. She was nice and explained everything to me. It was one of the best massages I've ever received. After we were done, we checked out of the villa. I gave a tip on card but you are also able to leave cash tip. Soon after, we went to lounge and by the pool before we headed to the grotto. We also checked out the club mud. At the grotto, we checked in, where we also signed another waiver. We didn't wait long before going in. There was a group of us that would be doing it. We placed our things in cubbies before going down an elevator. We went into a shower area where the employees would use paintbrushes to coat us in a full body mask of aloe Vera, coconut oil, and shea butter. It is really sticky. The excess they gave to us in our hands to put anywhere else on our body. After that, we made our way to the grotto. It was like a sauna. We saw a few people lying on the grotto. We were told to whisper and lay on the grotto. It was a bit uncomfortable for me since I kept slipping off due to the body mask. After a while, my friend and I were over it. We went to the steam room, where we rinsed. It was very hard to rinse off. You really have to rub it. After that, we went to the cooling room, where there is a small water fall. We left back where we came. It was definitely not at all what I expected. I thought we would be laying on lounge chairs in the grotto and the employees would be using genie hands to put on the mask. They would also serve us drinks if we want. I could see how this could be enjoyable, but it was not my thing. During this time, my friend and I had lost some of our belongings. The employees were able to find them and give it to us. After the grotto, went into the pool. It was heated. After some wading, we got hungry and went to the ivy kitchen. This is what the receptionist had recommended. I got tenders and my friend got the bowl. We thought the food was fine. We didn't hate it but we didn't like it either. My tenders were overcooked. After we ate, we got drinks at lounge 1860. I got the mint revival. It was very delicious. We lounged by the pool with our drinks. By this time, they were getting ready to close. We headed to the bathhouse and I took a shower. It was crowded with people doing the same thing. The showers provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. It was lavender and eucalyptus scented. They also have lotion and unlimited heated towels. We checked out soon after. First impressions, I loved it! I can't wait to come back again.

Great service and the grounds are very well taken care of. Plenty of towels to grab, clean locker room. Very organized. Highly recommend for a day to relax and decompress. Great for girls day and very relaxing. The food is surprisingly great!

Hubby and I have come here about 3 times since last year and can't say anything bad about this entire experience. From beginning to end, customer service is top notch. Food and drinks are great. Everything is clean and gorgeously landscaped. We love doing Club Mud then going to our Grotto appointment. While hubby gets a massage, I use that time to hang out in the bathhouse and sauna in the women's locker room. At the end of our day, we shower up and change clothes in the locker rooms and finish the night at Reunion Kitchen in Dos Lagos. Make your trip here even better and book a night at Staybridge Hotel nearby. Makes coming in from LA so much easier. 13/10 experience. Highly recommend

Last week marked my second visit to Glen Ivy Hot Springs. My first experience at Glen Ivy was a couple of years ago when I treated my mom to a relaxing day here. I live in Los Angeles so it's a fairly manageable drive for a day trip and I had been looking forward to a relaxing girls' day for my most recent visit (last Wednesday). Unfortunately, one of my friends couldn't make it because she got stuck in Hawaii due to a cancelled flight. I mention this because Glen Ivy is extremely strict about their 24-hour cancellation policy. Even in cases like flight cancellations or situations out of one's control, they don't offer credits or partial refunds, which was disappointing and felt inflexible for a resort that promotes wellness and care. That said, once we arrived, the day was pretty good overall. I highly recommend getting there right at opening so you can secure a good lounge chair. The pools fill up quickly, and some of the smaller, more specialized areas (cold plunge, mineral baths, etc.) get crowded really fast and stay crowded the entire day... I don't know how being crammed in a tub with so many others is relaxing... Glen Ivy is sprawling, with lots of hidden nooks and relaxation zones, but good spots are definitely taken fast and early. I booked a 50-minute Signature Massage, which took place in one of the serene villas (Villa 3, I believe). I can't quite remember if my massage therapist's name was Jasmin, but whoever it was, she was amazing. The massage was easily the highlight of my day. I left feeling completely relaxed, rejuvenated, and pampered. Of course, 50 minutes flew by way too fast!!! No matter how long the massage is, it's never long enough! After the massage, we headed to the on-site cafe/bistro for lunch, which unfortunately aligned with peak lunchtime for what seemed like everyone there. The line was long but it moved fairly quickly. I ordered the Tuna Poke (super tasty and fresh) but the portion size left a lot to be desired, especially considering the price tag. AND, not long after, the power went out across the property for nearly an hour. Luckily, we had just finished eating, but it definitely disrupted the vibe for others arriving or hoping to shower or book services later in the day. We decided to call it a day and headed out around 3pm. Glen Ivy is undeniably a beautiful, calming spot with lots to offer including unique pools, spa services, and peaceful garden areas but at times it feels a bit overrated and overpriced, especially when it gets crowded or unexpected hiccups occur (like power outages or rigid policies). I'd still return, but I would try to aim for the off-season or a quieter weekday when it feels more exclusive and less hectic.

Came to celebrate a birthday. It was so relaxing - we came early Wednesday morning (9:45am) and there was already a line and a good amount of people. We heard that the weekends were too packed especially the summer so glad we came on a weekday. We added on several services including the grotto and hydromassage. The grotto was a super cool experience, they paint grotto (warm aloe Vera, shea butter, and some other minerals) on you then you sit in a meditation room before showering off. It was so relaxing and the warm grotto felt so good on my skin. The hydromassage is just a massage chair that uses water to massage you for 20 minutes in a dark room and that was also really nice. There's many pools to explore, we reserved chairs for the day which I'd recommend especially if you're coming later because even though we came early most of the unreserved lounge chairs were already taken. They give you a complimentary locker to put things in and there's complimentary towels everywhere available. If you go to the mud bath, they recommend wearing no jewelry and dark swimsuit to prevent staining. After the spa experience, my skin felt so smooth and I felt rejuvenated!

Visited this resort last Thursday to celebrate a double birthday. We were a party of six, so we made sure to book in advance. I called four days ahead to reserve a massage but was told they were completely booked for the day. Thankfully, we were still able to secure the grotto experience. I used to come here every year, but the place has gotten so popular that there are people everywhere you turn. Luckily, the resort is spacious enough that you can still find your own little corner to relax. Personally, I'm always on the lookout for a good shaded spot, I try to avoid baking in the sun whenever possible. We arrived around 11 AM and it was already packed. I grabbed a cocktail from the bar just a heads-up, their drinks are wine-based since they still don't have a hard liquor license. Probably for the best... no one wants tipsy swimmers flopping around in the pool. Pro tip for the ladies: if you need extra time to get ready after your spa time, don't wait until the last minute. The line for the showers can get long, especially before they close at 5 PM. After that, the night crowd starts rolling in, and you definitely don't want to be caught in the transition. A little time management will save you the stress. Also, if you want to avoid doing laps around the parking lot, plan to arrive early doors open at 9:30 AM. The later it gets, the tougher it is to find a spot. Even with the crowd, we still had a great time. Just be warned it was busy on a Thursday, so I can only imagine how packed it gets on the weekend. I'd personally skip it on Saturdays and Sundays if you're looking for a more relaxing vibe.

We really enjoyed our day today. Plenty of amenities for your day. You literally don't have to do much except relax. The grotto service was great, but, don't talk above a whisper cuz they'll continue coming in to shush you. Took one star away for the food. It was pricey and underwhelming to say the least. The chicken tinga was tasteless. We had the nachos and the pollo bowl so it was on both and not good at all.

Took my partner here for a birthday relaxation day. We opted for the evening session thinking it would be less crowded at night and on a Sunday but we were totally wrong. Even though some day admission people were clearing out, it was still very crowded. We mainly concentrated on the cold and hot pools, dry sauna, and mineral pool. Each place was packed and extremely noisy. Expect to wait in some areas and do not come here and expect to relax. Since they serve alcohol, people were partying and super loud. I really liked the jacuzzi and steam room inside the changing area the most. People were a little more quiet there so I could shut my eyes and relax. Unfortunately, I didnt know about that until the end. Also when it gets dark, it's cold so you can't really stay outside for a long time unless you purchase a bathrobe or bring your own. The mud bath was pretty fun and the bbq chicken flatbread was good. It was very filling for two people. I would rather go to a Korean bathhouse at the end of the day. They have the same things but its quiet and relaxing. If you want to socialize and soak then this would be a better fit. If you are looking for a serene outdoor hotsprings experience like in Switzerland or Quebec, this is not it.

My friends treated me to my very first spa day experience before my wedding. This surely was a treat. The whole experience was so relaxing. We went on a Wednesday and it was still pretty crowded. I had a massage with Jessica and it was great! There were water stations all over the place. We really enjoyed the bathing circuit and especially club mud. They were very unique experiences. We pretty much did everything and were there all day. There is so much to do that we forgot to eat. We had a drink and enjoyed our time. We ended the day with a Roman bath and showers right after. It was a great day and I will definitely be back.

I had my first Glen Ivy experience, and I can't wait to return! The vibe here was relaxing, but fun... and chill but also exciting! My favorite was the hit and cold pools.. and the grotto. We didn't get massages, but we booked the grotto and you get painted on with body hydration mix, a hot room, shower, then apples and tea in a cooling room. I went with my best friend and her mom... it was a cool experience. I recommend!! This place had a great vibe!

Fantastic Day Escape! It's always nice to take a weekday off to drive to Glen Ivy with my girlfriends. We booked 2 for 1 reservations online about a month in advance ($50 per person) and thoroughly enjoyed our day, dipping and swimming in nearly all the hot and cold pools around the facility. Drinks were yummy (and pricey), food was better than previous times (more selection and more flavorful), staff were super helpful and attentive. Overall, wonderful experience.

10 stars if I could give them - this place is fantastic and has everything you need to unwind, relax, and enjoy some self-care love! The grounds are well maintained and lush to take you away to a tropical paradise. There are multiple types of pools - lap pool, saline, vista, float pool, mineral springs, or even try the hot/cold plunge pools. There is an entrance fee but it is waived on your exact birthday! Massages, facials, or pedicures are available for an additional fee. Tons of clean towel stations and water stations. Alcohol is served or brought pool side. There is a coffee spot and lunch area with delicious options and competitive pricing. They have a Club Mud to lather your body in mud, let it dry, the rinse off in a pool or shower. The Grotto is an added adventure which takes you underground to a cool cave to massage a green lotion onto your skin to moisturize it. Then you can shower off and enjoy some crisp apples and tea. A gift shop is a must to check out before you leave. Lockers are included for your personal items. Staff is incredibly helpful! Come spend the day in paradise.

Came back for their 2-for-$80 nighttime swim session and had a blast. I was worried at first that the daytime guests would also be able to stay for the night session, but only those who paid for night swim admission could stay, so the park was at a perfect capacity. We stayed the entire time the springs were open, from 4pm to 9pm, and for two people, that admission price is a steal in my opinion. I'll be back!

Omg what a COOL hidden gem I had no idea existed. I went to celebrate my bf and I's 4 year and 2 weeks later, we are still talking about our massages. The best massage service EVER with those heated beds. Only complaint would be I was not in the same room as my partner but that was my fault for not knowing how in advance you have to book couples rooms. We enjoyed all of the pools and services and the cold hot plunge was my favorite. The natural springs is great but I cannot stand the boiled egg smell LOL. I would def recommend people go NOT on a weekend because it was absolutely PACKED. I didn't particularly enjoy our lunch. It was pretty bland and forgettable for the price we were paying so I wish they would have more food options.

Spend a weekday afternoon here after work! Parking is free. They search your bags- no outside food. You can bring an empty container for water. Showers available indoors- they have the lavender eucalyptus soaps inside for you to use, lockers and a key for you to remove. 1 foot pool always crowded- but I like that spot! Three bars open. Well water pumping through the water fountains- so drink up. Quality time spent with friends here. Spa and pools clean! The massages for me are not deep enough. I did do a grotto painted mud, not this time but a couple of times in the past and it's nice, moisturizing, and lovely downstairs in the grotto. Beautiful grounds. Lounger first come first serve ... unless you pay for a spot! I'm a fan and I do come here often.

Always a great time at Glen Ivy!! Been there so many times, I'm surprised that I've never reviewed them! I recommend coming on a non weekend, non work holiday! I usually come out on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday in order to avoid the crowds. I also usually just book the wellness package because it comes with a cabana and everything you need in order to help you get your shit all the way together! Plus I'm partly anti social during my Spa days and like to avoid waiting in lines for food or sitting directly in the heat! If you're lucky enough to score a Air conditioned cabana, those are the best!! Today Gia administered some Grade A service to my friends and I.. Life has been wearing us out and all 4 of us were in desperate need of a Spa/Mental Health/Leave us the F$!k Alone day! There was a bit of a hiccup with our cabana reservation and she was able to rectify it seamlessly! Cory and Kevin were our lovely servers and they did an amazing job securing our wants and needs for the day! Ravi gave me one of the best massages that I've had in a very long time! Theresa hooked up one of my friends massage and I couldn't wait for my other friends to get it together in remembering the ladies who helped them- I wanted to get this review out while it was still fresh on my mind!! But I do know that we were also celebrating another year of one of my friends being cancer free, and she said her oncology massage was amazing as well! Thank you Glen Ivy for another Spectacular Day!! PS- you guys should really consider selling that Grotto Body mask concoction cuz that stuff is amazing!!

I visited Glen Ivy on a Saturday evening with a large group of girls. It was such a terrible experience I wish I had not wasted my time. For starters, the place smelled of rotten eggs throughout. It literally smelled so bad and to be outdoors I wondered how was that even possible. Secondly, the women's locker rooms were so disgusting - I did not want to sit my things down. Wet/used towels lined the floors and changing areas. The restrooms were not maintained, it was DIRTY. The only enjoyable experience was club mud. Everything else was a total waste. Drinks were watered down, I mean you are better off visiting a Korean day spa... it would be cleaner at least! The employees were very nice! That's another plus I suppose. 1/10 wouldn't NOT recommend unless they clean the place up!

Located in the mountains of the Temescal Valley, this wellness destination features geothermal mineral baths which are known for their therapeutic properties. If you haven't experienced hydrotherapy before, Glen Ivy is the premier place to go in SoCal. I booked a day pass with my friend which granted us access to their nineteen different pools on the property, all of which boast unique features in their own ways. There was a saline pool, lounge pool, hot and cold plunges, a Roman bath and much more. The lushly manicured landscaping made for a wonderfully tranquil setting, helping to wash away some of the stressors of everyday life. The famous Club Mud was a fun and interesting way to wrap up the experience where we slathered our skin with California red mud to reveal softened skin upon rinsing. Glen ivy also features food and drinks with a few dining options. If you plan to be there for half a day or more, you'll want to grab a bite or something to sip on. I tried the fish tacos and a frozen cocktail, both of which were decent for their price.

My friend & I came here on a cold Thursday and there were still a good amount of people. Even though some of the spas were pretty full we had a great time! Our favorites were the mineral baths, club mud, and Roman bath. The food we ate throughout the day was bland but the drinks were delicious. Definitely bring your own robe unless you want to spend $30 to rent one. I also brought my own water bottle but didn't end up using it much as they have water stations with cups almost everywhere. All of the employees we came across were very helpful & nice too! I'm so glad we got the 2 for $100 promotion, I'm not sure it would be worth the $95+ admission considering it's only going to get busier in summertime. Minus one star for the woman that was puking in the bushes with a drink in her hand. Disgusting

OK, so this is me, and my wife's favorite spa to go relax for the day. We've been coming here for over five years now. Once a year for our anniversary and I have to say this year. I was a little disappointed with the service. They usually have waiters or waitresses walking around, taking drink orders, and they usually have a second mini bar open to help out with the bigger bar, but this time they didn't. It was just one bar for everyone at the spa with only two registers, and they pretty much ran out of beer within the first hour. I think they need to go back with the servers walking around and having the other smaller bar open. Also, with the amount of guests that they have daily. I'm sure they could afford it and people won't be so angry. Waiting in line in a hot sun Just to get a drink.

Came here for a birthday celebration! Entrance was $85 dollars and we paid $45 to add on the Grotto. Parking is free right outside and they have ample parking. We arrived an hour after opening (we came during March) and there was plenty of open pool chairs (and throughout the day as well!) we checked in and went to the locker room. Plenty of lockers, bathrooms, showers, and a steam sauna + hot spring inside. We went to our grotto appointment about 15 minutes before to check in (pro-tip you can bring your own robe or rent one there). They bring you down an elevator where they apply this hot clay body mask and then you are taken to a sauna. It is at your own pace-- afterwards you go to another room to rinse off (the water pressure and temperature is great) and then end with complementary fruit and tea! Perfect way to relax. There are multiple pools--sulfur, mineral, hot and cold plunge, lounge pools, lap pool. Each with their own unique twist to help your body relax. I loved the mineral pool that overlooks the valley! So beautiful. The lounge pools with the floaty beds was a second favorite. So nice to lay there and take a nap in the warm sun! Lounge chairs are scattered all throughout and there was always space. Lastly, the food in the cafe there is amazing! Had the nachos, flatbread, and turkey sandwich (all to share) and it was so filling and yummy! Spent the whole day here and will be totally coming back when I want to have a resort spa day!

I love this place , actually I loved this place always went there with 10-15 girls and had fun !!! Until last time I was there and I see 2 TRANSGENDERS in the woman's locker room!!!! Sir you are still a MAN !! And you don't belong in the woman's locker room , This is disturbing to me , I don't care what they do in their life but they should not be allowed in WOMANS locker rooms period !!! I don't want to walk naked in front of a MAN !!! You should make a room for trans people so they can have their space and we as WOMANS can have our space!!! I will never ever return to Glen Ivy because of this !!!

Went there on a Sunday for a massage and the grotto. So many things to do during your visit. The suggested cycle is the Mineral Bath, Salt water pool, hot & cold plunge, sauna, club mud. There is a lap pool where they hold aqua fit classes or you can lounge in one of the other pools. Towels are provided and if you would like a robe you can rent one for the day. There are several place to eat on property. I dined for lunch at the Ivy Kitchen and the food was amazing. Pictures is the Poke Salad with rice. Also the butter cake for dessert. The grotto was my last service and I did that after the mud cave. I highly recommend wrapping up your stay with the grotto as your last stop. I will definitely be going back and was told weekdays are best because it is not as crowded.

Had a very pleasant experience at Glen Ivy Hot Springs on 2.11.25. A couple of girlfriends & I booked a day of pampering & relaxation & we definitely got it here. It had been a while since I had been to Glen Ivy & need to make it a point to go more often. I booked a 60 minute massage with the added CBD treatment with Cheri. It was an incredible massage & she worked out a lot of the tension on the left side of my body. She was always checking in on me to make sure I was comfortable & I really appreciated that. We got the private cabanas & our server was so attentive during the entirety of our stay. He was helpful in substituting beverages that were not available. I also received complimentary champagne & dessert. We also ordered some items from the restaurant & the food was amazing. The spa/ common areas were so well kept and it wasn't extremely busy the day we were there. Overall 10/10 spa, pools, lounge & restaurant!

Well, I'm back at Glen Ivy - this is my fourth time being here. My first two times were pre-2020, and the vibe here was COMPLETELY different. As per my last review, this place is still: loud, crowded, dirty, with adequate food and drinks (still over $15 for cocktails that taste like nasty water). It's a Wednesday, so it's not as crowded as when I last time, but still relatively busy. People are not quiet. The vibes are not protected lol. Service is good, but I wish the grounds were cleaner. I'm afraid to use Club Mud because I doubt the quality and cleanliness (sanitary) is the same as I remember it. I haven't done the Grotto since my first time pre-pandemic, which I remember being a very engrossing and calming experience. I only came here today because I have over $400 in gift cards lol. So it was a free day trip for me, but yeah....it's not that great. I don't intend on returning here. I only came because of the gift cards and my mom wanted to come for her birthday. Loud, drunk people, dirty grounds/bathrooms/and locker rooms, overcrowded pools (that I don't trust the cleanliness of), and overpriced food and drinks. Broken, dirty pool chairs too, unless you pay to reserve the nicer chairs or a cabana. Update: went to my Grotto appointment at 4:15. The Grotto was nice. I, again, remember it being more relaxing, but I was glad that they really enforced whispering in every room of the Grotto. Still get apples and tea at the end. Yay.

Honestly it was so overpacked! The locker room was unbearable. Had no room to change and the shower line was a nightmare. Not enough loungers for the lounge pool. People hoard the loungers even tho there's a sign that says no holding lounger. The line to get food was so slow..... there were only two registers taking orders and about 30 people in line. Took a lot of time out of the day just to get food. The pools were packed and had to get in a line just to get in and out of some of the pools. The locker room itself is starting to look dated. It's just not the glamorous experience it used to be. Felt like a water park with people all over the place and no room to breathe. Pro: The grotto was lovely. It was quiet and relaxing compared to the rest of the facility.

Registration went smoothly online and in person. You can't use gift cards online so I booked using my CC and then cancelled and used my GC upon checkin. Last Wednesday was pretty slow and chilly but perfectly okay. The electricity did go out for about 1 1/2 hours. Unfortunately it was when I was ordering a coffee so I had to wait for the power to come back on. I had already been in the water and it was cold. When it didn't seem like any time soon, we opted for water aerobics. That killed some time but we didn't want to go sit in still water. We decided to check on an ETA and if my friend should cancel her additional services when the power came back on. I think management should had given us an update on what was going on and if they had an ETA. Once power was restored the kitchen and cafe was running again and there was no other hiccups. I was glad it was a slow day but did feel bad for those who were waiting to get in. Ordered the #ChickenNachos and #AsianChickenSalad #BrownButterCake The chicken was delicious and so was dessert. You can easily spend the $100 gift card in a day but purchasing it during their specials make it a great deal and day.

My friend treated me to a day here and it was amazing! Check-in felt a little busy at first, but once settled, everything flowed perfectly -- lockers, pools, and dining. The poolside restaurant was great, and the bar was a highlight. I'm not usually a drinker, but their piña coladas were a 10/10 (I had three! ). Such a perfect girls' day -- I'll definitely be back

Service and staff were attentive and very friendly in making sure you feel welcomed and at home. Olivia and Amber were very sweet and very helpful in our grato service today as they asked if I had allergies. In which I do to lavender. I was then told they would use a grape-seed oil instead. And handed a green card. This was awesome that I still got to partake in the expirience however, the warm room you enter should you have an allergy to either oils1 I don't recommend you sit I sat down and the eucalyptus/lavender oils were piled high and just globed everywhere. Though I appreciate them taking the time to make sure I wasn't initially exposed to it, by brush/painted on. it seemed to lack follow through in the next room... after being painted. maybe a separate area or a wiped down area for those far and few with skin irritations/allergies can be recommended for those attending in the future. Since it's by appt time each. I really loved the expirience but am leaving with an itchy back side/legs. As you can see, we still had a great time enjoying all the other amenities. Seemed slow at first but picked up closer to 12-1 pm. They provide water, electro lights, towels, some foods and alcoholic beverages to purchases and robes for rent. And there's even a Starbucks on site. Also for those with allergies you can ask for unscented body wash/shampooo and conditioner in the dressing rooms. Looking forward to the future and possibilities of future booked services. Hope they make a change to the little issue I had today as I hope no one should have to worry about that if they make a special accommodation in the beginning then follow through would be appreciated. :) thx to all the staff today and to my painter you were so sweet and kind and made me feel so comfortable. I visited Glen Ivy Hot Springs in Temescal Valley, CA on Monday, 1/27/25, around 2:30 PM. I opted for the half-day admission (1-5 PM window) for only $45. Thankfully, I came on a day when it was not packed with many individuals. I started my visit by going to the Vista Pool, where I enjoyed beautiful views of the ambiance. The pool water was nicely hot and relaxing. Next, I went over to The Club Mud Experience. I immersed myself in the mud pool and applied clay to my skin. Afterward, I exfoliated and rinsed the clay in the outdoor shower. The experience left my skin feeling extremely soft. Lastly, I tried the Saline Pool filled with Epsom salts. It helped with therapeutically treating the tightness of muscles, joints, cramps, and inflammation. I stayed for a total of two hours. I was content with everything that I experienced within the timeframe. I ended the visit by stopping at GOCO Cafe. I treated myself to a nice Mocha Frappuccino. It was much needed. Overall, this place is the epitome of rejuvenation. I highly recommend coming here to unwind. It is a perfect, peaceful environment to de-stress from everyday life.

I came here with two friends for a relaxing day at the spa - I will say for the price point, this was really great! We had a wide variety of pools available - mineral, saline, hot and cold. There were also a mud bath (cover yourself in clay, bake in a room and the sun, exfoliate) and two saunas (150 and 180 degrees). We paid a bit extra to go to the grotto, where they cover you completely in this moisturizing goop and sit in a humid room, then sit in a nice cool room with complimentary tea and apples after showering. We also opted to get a 50 min massage, which was so utterly fantastic that I passed out during it. The food was also better than expected - for 3 people, we ended up ordering 3 pizzas (pepperoni, Hawaiian, and truffle), along with a soup of the day and two desserts. It was a lot of good quality food, and I would highly recommend what we ordered. Overall, I would really love to come back - I felt extremely refreshed afterwards. Just don't forget sandals like I did!

Ok, I wish I could give different aspects different reviews. Some parts were a solid 5, other parts a 3. First of all, this place is a cattle call, so many people, not a really quiet relaxing vibe, and the mineral pool is tiny and crammed. It's people soup and you're close to everyone. The drinks were also cheap tasting which was unimpressive for the rest of the feel of the property. Definitely bring your own robe or poncho, they charge $30 for a robe rental!!! NO WAY! I was glad I brought towel ponchos. The locker rooms were elbow to elbow but free. Club mud was really fun, but they need a bigger sauna because it was paaaaacked with people trying to dry off and keep warm when it was cold. I liked the grotto experience but I thought they had some semi private hot tubs which they did not. It was a skin treatment and you could just hang out and chill in the quiet room. The skin treatment was nice and the steam was not super hot so that was really nice. The restaurant was celiac friendly and had gluten free options, and I was able to eat there without having to pack food which was a big bonus. I checked in advance but you could bring food if you needed too. Overall it was a nice experience, and I'd be back to enjoy the grounds again.

absolutely loved my visit. I took my time exploring every single location available to me, and by the end of the day, my skin was so soft. I was there from 10 AM to 5 PM and despite what I'd seen on TikTok about it being packed, it really wasn't. There was plenty of space and peace. The service overall was perfect. Everyone was super friendly. I had lunch around noon and ordered the poke bowl, which was beyond delicious. I also had a mimosa, then later a mojito. It was exactly the day I needed to decompress from a lot of stress. This was my first time here and since then I've told everyone about it. I already know I'll be back. I booked a massage with Salvador, and I'll admit I was a little nervous at first because I haven't had a male massage therapist in a long time. But he was extremely professional, gentle, and took the time to talk me through his technique. I've never had a massage that made me feel so relaxed I was falling asleep. He even shook my hand when we met, which stood out to me as respectful and kind. If you're booking, I highly recommend him. This was one of the best massages I've ever had. The only reason I gave service 4 stars for the service instead of 5 is because of an interaction near the cabanas. I sat down on one of the lounge chairs, not knowing it was reserved for cabana guests. An employee, Connor I believe, approached and said, "You're not a cabana guest." His tone came off a bit condescending. As a first-time visitor, I genuinely didn't know, and it would've made a difference if he had said something more courteous like, "Excuse me Miss, these chairs are reserved for cabana guests." If I had known ahead of time, I would've happily paid for one. Still, I'll absolutely be returning, cabana or not. I'm planning to bring my mom, fiancé, and future mother-in-law next time. I hope they enjoy it as much as I did.

Wow!! Amazing place to relax and leave with such beautiful silky skin!! The staff are so friendly, attentive and provide EXCELLENT service! My sisters and I had a blast!! From the moment you arrive till the end you want to come back soon! The water dispenser with fruits and ice are refreshing. The pools are very clean and love that clean towels are provided! The GROTTO was extra but totally worth it!! We will back to enjoy this spa retreat!

By far one of my favorite spas! I use to visit Glen Ivy on my birthday every year and I'm not sure why I ever stopped but I'm bringing it back without a doubt! Apportionments are easy to book online or over the phone, Heather was so incredibly kind and helpful answering all my questions. FYI Temescal Valley location and Corona location are both the same locations! They said they're working on that. Also you'll have to either pay for your booking up front or add a card and they'll charge in 48 hrs before your appointment. Parking is free and plenty of it! They even have additional in the same lot. Once there it's an easy check in, you get a wristband if you're looking to purchase alcohol, grab a map, and you're on your way! Along the way there are station maps and even a suggested sign on how to use the resort. There are plenty of services you can add on to your visit like massages, salon, grotto experience etc. Locker area is so so big I definitely got lost in there, super clean and my favorite they have a bathing suit dryer. There are plenty of showers, vanity's, blow dryers, q tips, tissues, and even breast feeding station which I thought was so mindful. There's a Starbucks on site and a cafe with delicious food! Remember to bring a water bottle to keep hydrated even if you think you'll be fine, you'll feel it! There is cucumber lemon water stations all around the resort and even water bottle refill stations as well. Towel service nearly at every pool, and showers as well! You'll be in a bathing suit all day and a robe to throw on top. You can either rent one or bring your own! Be sure to wear something you don't mind getting dirty, the clay in club mud stains. Overall such a cute place to visit with your s/o, best friends, bridal party, mom, etc just anyone! Can't wait to be back!

Pools are really nice and there are various. Staff really helpful and has good communication skills. We didn't like to fish entree for dinner (salmon also mahi mahi was dry and not delicious) appetizer and sides were nice. Service was nice! Parking is easy and free .

Glen Ivy will always have a special place in my heart. I've been coming here for years and have never had anything short of a wonderful experience! This most recent trip I noticed workers going around frequently to pick up trash and ensure chairs were available if no one had claimed them with a towel or whatnot. For the best experience get there when it opens, follow the recommended order for the pools, and enjoy - because time will sadly fly by! Pro Tip: If you don't want to pay for the grotto, use their lotion and go to the steam room - practically the same thing but for free!

My husband and I came here for our babymoon and booked a package with a massage and the grotto experience. The massage was fantastic and the grotto was a unique, fun touch. We also spent some time at the mud club, which added variety to the day. Being in my second trimester, I appreciated that I could enjoy most of the amenities, including the hot and cold tubs, though I had to limit my time in the hot tubs. That said, for the price point, the overall experience fell flat. I was expecting something a bit more upscale and polished. Instead, the property felt a little neglected. There were plastic cups and trash scattered around, and on a weekday with very few guests, I was surprised that nobody was walking the grounds tidying up. I can only imagine what it looks like on a busy weekend. The food and drinks were average at best. Aside from the massage and the grotto, the day was just okay, which is disappointing considering the cost. I've since heard of other hot springs in the area that might offer a better experience, and I'd suggest looking into those before choosing Glen Ivy.

This is my first time coming this spa. We are here to celebrate my friends' birthday. We bought the admission tickets online 2 weeks before, and we also order grotto experience. Price was reasonable. There was a big parking lot and parking was not a problem. We checked in with the receptionist, and the ladies were very friendly. They put a wrist band on us, and we just head to the locker room to get change. Locker room is spacious, there were changing rooms too. The steam room and a warm pool was inside the female locker room too. There were pool with mineral water, which we are only allow to stay in for 15 min in each turn. One thing I did not like was that a big party was next to us, and they were yelling and screaming. We were unable to relax while soaking in the mineral water. There were sauna and other pool in different temperature. There were also a pool with flowing bed that we can lounge on. There was a restaurant, and those are all healthy eats. I got an Asian chicken salad, and it was very tasty! I love the overall experience, but dislike that people could get loud when they were excited. It would be nice if staff can address to people getting too loud. In that way, everyone can get to relax and enjoy this spa experience.

My mom and I decided to do a day at Glen Ivy craving some good r&r and mineral springs benefits. We did choose to day pass on a Sunday as that is what worked for our schedule. We anticipated it would be busy but not so crowded that we would be waiting on turns for the mineral pools, lawn chairs almost all preoccupied, and lunch line very long. They seemed to have oversold their day passes and fulfilled beyond their capacity. Our hydromassage canceled midday as the machines broke. Truly a disappointing experience from the customer service to the amenities themselves, considering the cost. Even the mineral pools have increased in their chlorine levels where I question the benefits. Many of the staff seemed young, new and not knowledgeable on the details of arrival and flow of events. I would not recommend a weekend pass for those seeking true rejuvenation and quiet. Common areas were quite loud, busy and many seemed to be enjoying a more party vibe. My last visit was on a weekday years ago, where I enjoyed a truly serene setting, the mineral pools felt authentic in their healing benefits, and the grotto was a complimentary amenity (now $45 pp). Glen Ivy seems to have lost its vision as a true healing and wellness retreat for the people. Not the first time at Glen Ivy and not the last! Visited yesterday for a special mother & daughter day of wellness. Always well maintained with care by the staff and overall a chill atmosphere. Came on here to thank Brett (and door person) at the entrance for his support of a small issue that got resolved in seconds. Working in this industry takes patience and understanding and it was exactly his response. Thank YOU. Appreciated all of the staff that worked hard to replenish and work together to make this a great place. All of this in 90 plus degree weather! Can't wait to visit again next month. Keep up the great work Glen Ivy!

First time coming here, and have to say it's actually pretty fun. It's a relaxed and quiet environment and everyone is having a great time. From the hot to cold plunges, the mud bath and the grotto, everything was really great and fun. Vibe was great, and every chance you get you get to relax. I came in the evening time 4-9 pm and minimal crowd and no over crowding. It's awesome you get a free locker and the sauna and jacuzzi in the locker rooms. Only draw back is no cash accepted and the alcoholic drinks are a little weak for the price. Food was a little on the expensive side also, but to my surprise the ribs were excellent and so was the flatbread. Def will be coming back with a little more time.

Perfect girls day or birthday celebration treat. I only knew about this place from my friend who wanted to try out Club Mud for the first time. I booked both of us an Aromatherapy Massage in the morning and the Grotto in the afternoon with early access to the spa and a private cabana. The whole package is expensive, so I'd only come here for a special occasion. The massage was the highlight for me. The Grotto was also unique to experience since we already paid an entry fee. We arrived 15 minutes early before they opened at 9AM which gave us plenty of time to pass through bag inspection upon entry, tour the facility, meet our host at the private cabana, and relax in the Saline Pool before our massages. Note: no outside food or drinks are allowed. Feel free to bring an empty refillable water bottle. My masseuse was Christine and she focused on the knots in my back and shoulders. This was one of the best massages I've had and it started the day off on a relaxing note. After our massages, we baked at Club Mud to exfoliate our skin before heading to the Grotto. The Grotto felt like a ritual where someone slathers a moisturizing mixture all over your body with a brush. It was slippery and thick, and not recommended on your face as it might burn your eyes. After steaming and rinsing off the moisturizer, we enjoyed deliciously chilled green apples. I'm not sure if it was the whole ritual or being in a zen state of mind that the apples were extra crispy, juicy, and sweet. I also enjoyed our time in the private cabana. Our host, Connor, was the sweetest. I informed him we were celebrating my friend's birthday and he delivered us a cheesecake brownie dessert on the house. He was so attentive and let us order on the main menu without up-charge for our one appetizer and one entree. I don't drink so I ordered a complimentary mocktail. The private cabana was also nice because of the plush, luxurious robes. Some other experiences I enjoyed were the Hot and Cold Plunge. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Glen Ivy Hot Springs. Other notes: I definitely recommend wearing a black swimsuit for Club Mud. Bring sunblock, sunglasses, hat, extra change of clothes, and slippers you don't mind getting dirty.

Really can't put it into words...on a day pass, took my husband here for our anniversary (it's NOT just for ladies). He talked about it the whole night & is ready to go back! So glad we didn't take in everything...we have so much to look forward to!

I have been coming to this place for years, maybe once every two years or so since I don't live in the state where it is. Visited it again the last week of October for the first time in quite some time. It was amazing as usual and it seems to have expanded since the last time I was here. You do need to make reservations, we made them maybe a month or more in advance to ensure we were able to get in. There is plenty of parking in the lot at no charge. You used to be able to bring in water from the outside, but now you can bring empty water bottles only. This is totally okay because they have free water stations all in the property which is really nice. Once checked in you will go to the locker room where you have access to free lockers to put your items away. They are also free. Now we arrived around 10am and already the place was pretty busy and hard to find a spot by the pool we wanted to go to, but was able to find a spot at the pool. I suggest as soon as you get checked in, go find your ideal spot and put your towels down. Time is of the essences since everyone tends to want the same spot where the morning sun is. There are tons of spots for you to relax in rather you are doing water exercises with a instructor, or want to do laps, want to lounge in the water lounge things, or you want to do hot springs just so so many. An added bonus if you want to pay a little extra to do the grotto which I won't spoil it but Id day its a must do. You must reserve that spot as well. They do have massage and facials you can book as well, again suggest doing it in advance. There is a restaurant on site along with a bar with pretty amazing cocktails and also a Starbucks. So once you are there, you have everything you need. If you forget something they have a giftshop that has pretty much everything as well. This is hands down one of my fav places in the US.
