Western Australia for the Food Is the Next Great Food Lover's Destination

"A farm-to-table restaurant and tasting room where roughly eighty percent of a hearty three-course farm lunch is grown on the property; desserts include delicate plates such as a rhubarb-rose semifreddo paired with mascarpone gelato." - Kevin West Kevin West Kevin West is a writer, food consultant, and “canning evangelist” (according to NPR). We had an amazing experience, expertly taken care of by Georgia. The pre-lunch wine tasting was delightful, and the Farm Feast lunch was absolutely exquisite. We will definitely return and highly recommend it. A big thank you to the entire Glenarty Road team!

We joined the farm tour and lunch with wine pairing and it’s wonderful. We like their concept of regenerative farming (less stringent than certified organic farm). The staff are passionate and knowledgeable. We like the Fume Blanc in particular. Their farm honey is intense and full of flavors. Highly recommended.

We were looking forward to this given the excellent reviews and focus on sustainable farming. We had the farm feast but unfortunately it was not a feast. We left hungry. The bread was stale. The sides with the main were 2 cold dishes including one that looked and tasted similar to the (small) entree. The charcuterie could have come with additional bread or crackers. There was no substantial carb, and only 1 protein dish and 1 hot dish for $105 seems overpriced. Plus additional $10 for sparkling water. That said the lamb and service was nice. I’d recommend going for lunch at the more renowned and established wineries with better food and wines to match.

Absolutely delicious food and even catered for vegetarian! Sometimes hard to find at a dedicated nose-to-tail sustainable restaurant. Absolutely gorgeous cellar door and amazing garden to walk through. A definite must to schedule in lunch here while driving down to Pemberton or Cape Leeuwin. Book well ahead. Couldn’t have tooooo much wine here because of the drive, but what we did have was delicious! Highly recommended. Oh and by the way, the 3-course Farm Feast was HUGE, and perfect, amount of food! Some older reviews complained of too-small portions, but if this was once true, it has now been rectified. Allow at least 2 hours for lunch and advise ahead of time if you need to go any earlier.

Couldn’t fault it. Partner and I were searching for a farm to table style winery and found Glenarty Road. We did the paddock to plate which started with a small tour of the farm given by Sandy, we found her to be incredibly positive and insightful about agriculture and the farm itself. We then had a 5 course meal which we honestly couldn’t fault. The restaurant staff were also a delight. They advised us they use 80% of farm produce to create the meals which means they rotate seasonably which made us wish we lived alot closer so we could come once a season! Incredible wines, incredible food. We were very happy to support this business and will recommend to anyone travelling to the Margaret River Region.

Beautiful Location, lunch, people! Just passing by stopped for a light lunch and a glass of wine, a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the food was sensational! I will definitely be going back for the three course meal matched with wines as soon as I get the opportunity. Probably the nicest winery I’ve been to in terms of it’s relaxed atmosphere and service

Wonderful farm to table set menu with superb veg choices as well. Friendly team, personable and authentic. Well worth it for a special occasion, or no occasion !

Had a wonderful 30th Anniversary celebration lunch here. Glenarty Road is around 30 minutes out of Margaret River. It is a beautiful little restaurant that's part of the farm/winery that believes in sustainability and regenerative growing. It offers a farm to table menu, a 3 or 5 course set menu that serves food that is beautifully presented and optionally paired with selected wines. there is also the option of a farm tour. The 5 course menu costs $130 and $35pp extra if you want the farm experience tour. The five paired wines are a $45pp option. we went for the 5 course "Every Acre Feast" and selected one of the wines we really enjoyed from our tasting before the meal (5 wine tasting $15pp). The food in each course was truly beautifully presented with great attention to detail. The main for the menu is usually lamb or pork. We had been told by friends the lamb was exceptional but on our visit pork was the main. Each course was tasty, fresh and vibrant. My wife and I would not usually choose pork but we thought we'd give this a try and whilst it was all generally beautifully done our pork main was a little overcooked and a bit chewy. We probably would have been happier with lamb. Apart from that, service was excellent with great explanations of each course and the restaurant itself was a really lovely place to be on this special occasion. We must return another time to try the lamb menu and again enjoy the hospitality of this family run farm.

Yelp
Ashley was very lovely and waited on us for the bar tasting. This place is very cute. They were setting up for Father's Day lunch and it was getting a little busy so this was a quick tasting. The reason I chose this place was the name Kerfuffle Ashley said it was their old name and now they have a few wines with the Kerfuffle label. The SBS was quite good, a little fruity and light, a good drink for sitting outside on a hot day. The name Kerfuffle reminds me of The tv show Judge Judy when she describes every little incident as a "Kerfuffle" haha If you want to have lunch or a private tasting be sure to book a few weeks in advance. It is very popular and fully booked on weekends.
