Rogers Park’s nonprofit market prioritizes sustainable growers and food access programs. Recognized by Choose Chicago and local press, it’s a mellow, music-filled stroll on Glenwood Avenue where shoppers meet makers and neighbors.
Looks like there's a new fence around the lot that hosts the market. I hear the flower guy will be back this year. This is a group of people who work hard to create a unique community market experience. Most notable is there match program for SNAP participants. June through October, this is a great place to start your Sunday mornings. #GSM #GlenwoodSundayMarket. Back on Glenwood summer 2022

I love this market for the summer. Everyone is friendly and all the fresh fruit and vegetables are affordable. The music and sand carver made my kids day. Handcarved all my kids and dog names. Florist flowers were fresh and beautiful. Will return every year.

My favorite farmer’s market in Chicago 💛
What I recommend:
- Milwaukee Home Grown flower vendor for the freshest, longest-lasting flower bouquets
- Katherine-Anne’s scrumptious caramels
- Bennington Bakery’s blueberry tea cake
- Kikwetu cold brew (to sip on as you browse!)
- Hardin’s Family Farm’s BEST peaches
(Quick story about Hardin’s - one Sunday when I was particularly stressed out I needed a peach pick-me-up. Totally forgot the stand only took cash, and I didn’t have time to get to an ATM that day. The sweet man working at the Hardin’s booth gave me the peaches, saying I could pay them off next week. Incredibly kind and just made my day!!)

Good selection. Would love to see other drink vendors, perhaps tea and options to drop off compost, like other farmers markets I’ve visited.

You'll find a surprising variety of locally grown fruits and vegetables here, as well as an array of delicious meats, eggs, and prepared products such as bread and honey. Everything tastes like you always thought it should, and even the best grocery-store produce can't beat the freshness.

Great produce and friendly vendors! It's more of a produce market than a restaurant stall market, so if that's what you're looking for you'd have better luck at the Logan square market. I love this market for fresh veggies, eggs, cheese, and bread.

Great vendors with top artisan, and seasonal products. Definitely a hidden gem and worth checking out. Most vendors accept both cash and cards.
