"Tucked away on a quiet street in the center of town, this intimate restaurant has a quintessential Old World vibe. Inside, there are brick arches and decor that references the town's ancient history, but the terrace is the place to be on a warm evening. As you'd expect in a beach town, seafood is the star of the menu here. (Even restaurant critic Ruth Reichl can't resist Sperlonga's seafood.) The dishes are fairly traditional, featuring classics like spaghetti alle vongole, risotto alla pescatora, and the catch of the day. For the best meal, ask the waiter what's fresh and trust their recommendation." - Laura Itzkowitz, Arlene Gibbs
A wonderful place, very elegant and romantic. The quality of their dishes is undeniable. The courtesy of the staff is exceptional.
The restaurant impresses with its cozy atmosphere, the evening was accompanied by playing the violin.
I recommend this place to those who want to spend a pleasant evening in a relaxed atmosphere.

Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, great service. Shared 3 plates, and all 3 were perfect
After spending 8 days in Italy, and having some of the best meals I've ever had in my life, this restaurant stands out as the best I've been to. In a pedestrian area, it can take a bit to find, but it is so worth it.

Great recommendation. The food was so well presented and cooked to perfection. i had the fish balls starter with the seasonal cooked vegetables . My partner had the best ever - spaghetti ( cooked to absolute perfection) with pumpkin flowers and anchovies ( taste explosion). Their beautiful olive bread 😍. Excellent prosecco . We ate light as had a late lunch but next time we will order more as their fish selection looked amazing. Beautiful part of the old town of Sperlonga.

The fish was extreme salty and the meat was cold. Additionally the service felt off while it was charged with 10% on the bill. Frankly, the worst experience in a long time.

The pizza was greasy and the waiter removed as much flesh than skins when he removed the bones. Not great.

We went there for dinner and the food was very good. However, the service was disappointing. We were given a table way in the back of the restaurant, when there were plenty of other tables for two available. The host and one the of the waitresses were quite unfriendly, which was also disappointing. We paid a lot more than in other restaurants in Sperlonga, but the quality was not better. The garden is beautiful though and the wine list is great.

Delicious handmade noodles. Very much enjoyed the “Gli Archi” pasta and my vegetarian wife enjoyed the pasta with vegetables.

Thank you very much for the amazing time
And thanx for ordering the aragosta (langoest).
Best thing, place and experiance since a long time!
We ate here 2 times and the atmosphere is super romantic, superb winelist with lots of well known wineries for a good price. I will recommend this place to everyone!

Yelp
Considering how quaint Sperlonga is, the amount of well rated restaurants to choose from is limited. When choosing Gli Archi, we threw caution to the wind and it was the best decision we made. This restaurant was the best meal I had eaten in Italy. The fillet was to die for, along with the red wine and wonderful appetizer of ham and mozzarella. Even putting the meal aside, the atmosphere was so relaxing and the staff was immaculate. Despite my lack of Italian fluency, the staff was remarkably on top of our food, so kind and professional. Great outdoor seating and a great playlist to accompany it. Thank you Gli Archi
