The 38 Best Restaurants in Milwaukee, Wisconsin | Eater

"Glorioso’s is a microcosm of the evolution of Brady Street and the East Side Italian community. The grocery store, which opened in 1946, felt like a hangout in The Sopranos for much of its life, until it moved across the street in 2011 to a space as bright and sprawling as a Whole Foods. Despite the shift in scene, you’re still properly covered for Italian specialties — guanciale, pecorino, giardiniera, endless olives — and sandwiches for the ride home. Try the Italian beef, muffuletta, or the Human Torch, a ferocious battering ram of calabrese salami, capocollo, provolone, and hot pepper spread. Know before you go: A muffuletta is even better after spending a night in the fridge — allowing the bread to sponge up the olive salad." - Todd Lazarski

Google
Outstanding local family owned Italian deli and grocery that’s been here for decades. Today we got a couple sandwiches and sat outside. Affordable, tasty and very fresh.

First off, I had only heard Great things about this market. From locals and from online forums. They are right, best Italian subs and pastries outside of Italy. A must try for anyone in and around the milwaukee area.

Google
Loved this place. The prices were fair and I only regretted getting the large Italian beef because it was generously loaded. Great sandwich with the au juice and peppers, but I'd go with a regular. The store looks amazing and is a very iconic piece of history with a visit.

I recently visited Glorioso's Italian Market in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, intending to have lunch but ended up walking out with a variety of foods to take home. The sandwiches were excellent, made with very fresh ingredients that highlighted their commitment to quality. The market itself offers an incredible assortment of cheeses, meats, pasta, and other Italian products. I was impressed with the range and authenticity of the items available. Everything from specialty cheeses to imported meats and unique pasta varieties can be found here, making it a paradise for anyone who loves Italian cuisine. The cleanliness of the store and the friendliness of the staff added to the positive experience. The employees were helpful and knowledgeable, making recommendations and ensuring that I found everything I was looking for. Overall, Glorioso's Italian Market is a gem in Milwaukee. The high quality of the food and the wide selection of Italian specialties make it a must-visit. Whether you're looking for a delicious meal or ingredients to cook at home, Glorioso's is the place to go. I highly recommend this market to anyone in the area.

Came to Milwaukee on vacation and this came up as a spot to visit for food. Very glad we stopped in. The subs from the deli were delicious. Fresh cuts, fresh cheese, and soft seeded bread. The bakery was also a hit, we had so many Italian cookies (Kolachy) and pastries. The store also sells coffee, no surprise also fresh and well prepared cappuccino. We ended up coming back everyday to try something new. This is as authentic of an Italian market as it gets. Great selection of local and international cheeses, wines, pastas, and in house premade pizzas/garlic bread. Make time to stop in and enjoy.

Google
A fantastic little market and deli on Brady St. Tons of fresh meats and Italian treats. I had the Italian Beef sandwich from the deli and it was great. The bread was super fresh and there was a generous portion of beef on it. Overall worth a visit for the sammies but the store is fun to explore too.

Google
First time in but definitely not the last! Got deli sandwiches, we could have split, as they were huge but grateful for a snack later on. The bakery goodies did not disappoint-raspberry croissant was amazing! Only regret was only getting one. So many yummy things, cannot wait to go back!

Came here as part of a Brady Street Food Tour. We got to sample some antipasto. Have been here before and it's always fun. So many interesting foods to choose from. Like taking a European vacation.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years, and this place truly has a little bit of everything when it comes to Italian food and gifts. Their pasta section is a standout--that said pairing it with a special sauce or olive oil is my idea of the perfect gift with the holidays coming up. They also have amazing focaccia, awesome for bringing to a party, and a huge cheese selection that's sure to impress. Don't miss the sandwich AND gelato counter--all the sandwiches are made to order and come out quickly. The market itself is adorable, full of Italian charm and unique finds. Definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
Dinner at a grocery store? Yes, please! Glorioso's sandwiches and sides were things memories are made of. We had an Italian sausage with peppers and a meatball/pepperoni/peppers sandwich. Just the right amount of marinara. Grabbed a side of polenta fries & a few extra olives from the case. Plenty to choose from on the dessert front- cannoli was very satisfactory. Limoncello tart- I was hoping for a bit more bite, but that didn't stop me from finishing it off. Grabbed our food and enjoyed a beautiful night outside at a picnic table. I'm door seating is available as well. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Another trip another fancy grocery store review. Glorioso's might be the best one I've been to. I got a soppressata and provolone open faced Sammy with everything. Amazing! They also had so much stuff I want to go back and try from pasta salads to chocolate tarts. I would legit gain 15 lbs if I lived closer to this kind of Italian deli. Going back later

Yelp
Simply an amazing Italian market with ANYTHING that you can think of that you might need. My dad and I were passing through to go Green Bay, we got two Italian sandwiches which were unreal. I appreciated the friendly staff and it didn't take long to get the food. Will go back again!

Yelp
This is a must stop if you are driving through the Milwaukee area! It's worth getting off the highway for lunch!

Yelp
We were walking around Brady St and came across one of the best Italian markets I've ever been to. As a recent Milwaukee resident who just relocated from Boston, I have been in search of a classic Italian market and I'm so glad I've finally found one that has far surpassed all my expectations and reminds me of home. Amazing selection of desserts, wine, meat, deli, prepared foods, groceries and more. People at all the counters so helpful in helping you decide what to get and what's their favorites. Always busy with people shopping for fun meals or specialty items. Their deli sandwiches are massive and perfect for lunch. We got pizza ingredients for a fun dinner tonight and tried their tiramisu for dessert. I love coming in every week and discovering new favorites and finding Italian classics that I cannot find in most stores.

Yelp
I had also saved Glorioso's as a place to stop by (thank you Howard!!) and I did just that as I was in the midst of a foodie crawl on Brady Street. This was an impromptu crawl, after a meal at La Masa Empanadas, I was beckoned by Glorioso's and Peter Sciortino's Bakery (please see that review as well). This grocery store was massive for an Italian grocery store and Michael (employee) was very friendly and cool, as I waited in line with my dessert (a large, white cannoli). Gerry - "Hi Michael, is this store bigger than Tenuta's in Kenosha?" Michael - "That's my uncle's store and we're actually bigger. We are bigger by square feet and when you think about it, half of Tenuta's is a liquor store." Points well taken and the lines were long, people were shopping on this Saturday. There's also a little area where you can eat and that's where I had my large white cannoli. They should a called it the Great White Cannoli (after shark week). It was great and I'm looking forward to coming back for even more goodies. Ciao for now!!

Yelp
A beautiful place filled with amazing food. However ordering from the hot sandwich or pizza deli the food was served cold . I was rather disappointed

Yelp
This Italian market is a MUST and it is so worth trying to find parking on Brady street, which is the bane of my existence. The market has pasta, frozen meals (lasagnas, ravioli, seafood, etc), kitchen supplies, alcohol (wine, liquors, canned spritzes, cocktails, etc), a bakery with so many desserts, and a deli. There's something here for everyone. You can do a little shopping and enjoy a delicious meal all at once! There are tables to eat at both outside and inside. After strolling around a bit, we decided to get an eggplant parmigiana sandwich, a vegetable arancini, and an asparagus and Gouda risotto cake. The risotto cake was average - the outside was crispy (tasted slightly burnt), the inside was creamy, and there was plenty of asparagus. The flavor was a little lacking though and it could have used more salt at minimum. The arancini and the sandwich were the stars of this meal. The arancini was massive and came heated with marinara and cheese on top. It was exquisite. The arancini and the marinara were flavorful on their own, but together they were magical. The eggplant parmigiana sandwich was sublime. It came stuffed with mozzarella, eggplant, and sauce. I could eat this everyday. I wish I could eat this everyday.

Yelp
If you want your taste buds flooded with Italian deliciousness, Glorioso's is a must! The market is fantastic! It's filled with a variety of breads, pastas, meats, cheeses, wines, desserts and more. But my favorite part of Glorioso's is the deli. My husband and I just returned from a trip to Milwaukee, and we like it so much, we ate there twice during our stay! The first time we got food from the deli, we got our go-to, the Villa Sub #1 with Vegetable Pasta Salad and a Sprecher root beer. The second time, we decided to try something new to us. We had the Meatball, and it was scrumptious! We also got enough Vegetable Pasta Salad and Tortellini Pasta Salad to enjoy with our early lunch and take back home with us. And we had to have a root beer again to wash it all down. We also bought some other groceries from Bothe the deli and market like prosciutto-stuffed olives, spicy giardiniera and a Sicilian baguette, along with some cheeses, just to name a few. You don't even have to be a huge Italian food fan to come here. If you like good food, you have to go to Glorioso's!

Yelp
Well for my birthday after coming from the Milwaukee Art museum originally I was craving for Spanish tapas cuisine more specifically paella but the restaurant wasn't going to open until 4:00 and I wanted to be home since tomorrow I'll be working. Anyways service was very hospitable and courteous at the deli it wasn't a formal Italian restaurant and I tried to call one of the Italian restaurants here in Milwaukee just to find this one out on TripAdvisor of glorioso's deli. Informal but the food was satisfying and delicious. The Alfredo was very savory and they give you very good portions I was really impressed by the deli arsceni. The feelings inside were very delicious with the peas and meat. I thought I could finish the Sicilian meatloaf which I've never heard of but it was delicious too and am I just going to take it in for leftovers for tomorrow for my lunch. The only reason 4 out of 5 stars was that they don't offer free water and I had to buy mineral Italian water to quench my thirst since this is my lunch and dinner or linner or lupper before I head back to Chicago in another day at work. Otherwise enjoying my moment here in the city of Milwaukee Wisconsin. This is more of a grocery store for Italian goods but you could also order ready to eat food that's hot or cold and they'll heat it up which is what I did with my chicken alfredo, arancini and my Sicilian meatloaf.

Yelp
Visited this week after hearing about new owner. The deli and cashier were patient, kind and the food delicious. Maybe the bakery was overwhelmed but the person at the counter was awfully rude in front of my guest visiting from out of town. Not very Wisconsin nice. Whatever.

Jason W.

Yelp
Penne bolognese that would have my grandmother rolling in her grave god rest her soul. Pasta cooked perfectly but the bolognese is pink and has no meat served with an Olive Garden breadstick. No thanks.

Yelp
If you're from Milwaukee you probably know and love Glorioso's, but even if you are from Milwaukee I need to get you on to something REALLY GOOD and that's Glorioso's take and bake pizzas! My husband and I get the take and bake pizzas and garlic bread at least once every month because it is such a quality pizza compared to what you get in the frozen section of your grocery store. I CANNOT RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH! Thin, crispy, fresh ingredients - my personal favorite is the sausage, while my husbands is the pepperoni so I don't think you can go wrong. So if you're looking for an easy meal or a yummy option to bring to a party in the future - get a Glorioso's take and bake pizza! Although the pizza is what I rave about, it's also a complete deli and grocery store with much more to be enjoyed. I guess my next Yelp review will have to be when I try myself a deli meal... stay tuned!

Yelp
After an hour-long ride traveling to MKE, we visited Glorioso's for lunch, stretch our legs and do a little grocery shopping. As a newbie, the layout is confusing. I wanted a panini sandwich but had to ask the folks around me on how to order because I couldn't find a ticket dispenser. Thankfully the locals were friendly and pointed us to the deli register in the back where you purchase your meal and the deli staff calls your name when your order is ready. I got the chicken artichoke panini. It was a freshly made sandwich with soft bread, tender cuts of chicken, pesto mayo, onions and I'm sure I'm missing other things but it was overall enjoyable. I was full after eating a half sandwich and saved the other half for the next day. We left picking up a imported jar of sardines and a small batch assortment of their cookies to bring back for a Memorial Day cookout. There were plenty other tempting items but we'll have to save that for another trip. Quick tip. The checkout line is to the left of the store as you enter in. It will be on the right if you're coming from the deli.

Yelp
Gloriosos Italian Market is such a Milwaukee staple that will always make me feel at home:) I am never disappointed walking through the doors and you can always tell the love and history that goes into this place. You can't go wrong with anything here from their wine selection, fresh deli meats and cheeses, made to order sandwiches, desserts and cookies and more! I tried their octopus salad and I have to say- it was my favorite one I've ever tried! The lemony and vinegar oil that it's coated in is so fresh and light and the octopus was tender and almost sweet! The onions and celery gave it the perfect crunch too. The sandwich with balsamic, Genoa salami and provolone cheese was so simple but so good! The bread was crispy and soft on the inside- so delicious. I also have the best service every time I go. The deli guys behind the counter were so helpful and friendly and provide some of the best customer service ever:)

Yelp
Great market deli with tons of baked goods, too. We visited Glorioso's several times on our stay here.

Yelp
Food was great. I had the fig, goat cheese and prosciutto flatbread. Bf had the calzone. Both were delicious. We also had stuffed lobes and mozzarella balls. We had great service from everyone. Loved this Italian little market. Will be back very soon. I also bought some goodies to take home.

Yelp
I LOVE Glorioso's Italian market! They have been in Milwaukee for more than 70 years and it's a true gem. My dad would go here when he was in college and pick up sausage from the deli and make fresh pizzas at his apartment. A cheap, delicious way to eat when hitting the books. I came here first with my oldest and my husband. Now my oldest is 4 currently but he was very excited about the Italian sodas right when you walk in. When you walk in you get this old Milwaukee vibe but you also get this old euro vibe as well. It's a prefect blend of the two. Here you can find all things important from Italy, and bring them straight to your table top. It's as close as I'll get for a little while anyways! I haven't explored this joint as much as I want to. It is pretty tight in there but because they have some really awesome stuff and the design of the building was made to cater life styles back then. There's two counters in there. Both have great service! I was able to take my time a little more with the smaller counter. I had just finished Stanley Gucci's book My life through food and couldn't wait to make some of the dishes. The man behind the counter told me exactly what I was looking for and helped me pronounce it! The other deli counter is a little intimidating I must say. It's busy especially at lunchtime. Everyone knows what they want and gets in and out of there and it's a very fast pace environment. That being said everyone was still friendly but it's gonna take me a few times of ordering to feel like I really got down the system. Now what I have ordered, very delicious. We had a cubano and shared. Next time, I'll get my own. You can expect fresh ingredients, high quality food, and an array of Italian options. My bestie just told me about the stuffed gnocchi and my eyes glitched and my mouth watered. I happen to take some serious pride on my gnocchi but I've never thought of stuffing it. She said it was one of her go-tos there and now I feel silly for not knowing about it first. She can have this one. I get a good amount of out of town guest (everyone loves Milwaukee) but this one I save for my foodie guest. It's such a cool spot. Grab lunch, snack, dinner and a table outside. Done deal!

Yelp
Wow!!! Perfect Sunday funday treat from one of the finest Italian deli's and specialty grocer in America. It reminds me of Boston MA North End Salumeria Italiano with more offerings yet comparable quality and experience. Stopped in for hot freshly prepared food with a friend on a Sunday after mass. The place was buzzing. We ordered from the deli and quickly received or piping hot fresh food in minutes. I ordered the Chicago hot sandwich, thinly sliced marinated Italian beef and a freshly made Italian medium heat sausage on a Sciortino hard roll with au jois, mild giardiniera and a dollop of red sauce. Italian perfection on a Sciortino hard roll! The au jous and dollop of red do not ruin the structural integrity of the sandwich. Great creation and very tasty. My friend ordered a margherita pizza, he said it was delicious. We dined in Glorioso's and were very lucky to sit next to the two owners and their wives at their reserved table. They were very kind and shared a few stories of the history of Glorioso's and the Brady community. Come and experience one of the best Italian specialty food store and delis in the country!

Yelp
Of the many ethnicities that settled in to Milwaukee in those earliest days, were the Italians. Brady street and the surrounding neighborhood was a hub for bakeries and butchers and while most have evaporated into the ether, Glorioso's is a spot of Little Italy that remains. The original location, once across the street and a few doors down was quite small but when the butcher's cell phone rang and the theme from Godfather played, I knew I was in the right spot. The pictures tell the tale, so get on down to this market for dry goods, prepared sauces, desserts and cheese or a quick meatball sub on the go. You won't be able to refuse the offer.
google avatar

Robert L.

Yelp
It's a bit far but totally worth it. The huge stock of Italian eatables is extensive but not overly expensive. We get a nice homemade sandwich or dish, snag one of massive collection of beverages then chow down in the dining area. I found a treat I haven't had since port call in Naples, Italy. The Arancini is a Rice ball with meat, peas, provolone and marinara sauce. The crust is orange thus the name. I have had great experiences with the staff who can be patient with someone who is swamped with so many choices. Definitely a layout that doesn't follow the chain grocers. Aisles aren't super wide but shelves are an incredible feast. It's not the cheapest but the variety is awesome. Come again? Absolutely!
google avatar

Meredith C.

Yelp
A great location to pick up some of your favorite Italian foods. This market was full of so many amazing items, some of which were hard to come by. You could spend at least an hour looking at everything. I love that they sell their frozen Italian Beef to make my beef dishes/sandwiches at home. They have a huge selection of fresh and frozen items (and they traveled quite well back to Michigan). We didn't leave without grabbing a sandwich at the deli counter. Freshly made to order and absolutely delicious. Must stop if you're in the Milwaukee area!
google avatar

Maria M.

Yelp
Really great selection of Italian food and delicacies. We almost always get the sandwiches which are freshly made with perfection. I am from the East coast where Italian delis are plentiful but this place amazes me every time

Yelp
Nice little deli/supermarket on Brady Street. We were up for a family reunion. Our teenage boys had the mac & cheese and it was very good. We also split some salads. If you are in town, check this place out.
google avatar

Yelp
Glorioso's is an absolute must! My boyfriend and I try to make it here every other week or so to stock up on some of our favorite Italian ingredients. They have a great selection of cheese, pasta, spices, sauces, breads, and so much more. The store it self is welcoming and really feels like a family owned business. Along with groceries, Glorioso's has a counters for desserts, meat, and one where you can order food. Some of our favorite meals have been made with Glorioso's ingredients, so go check it out!

Saphiffer T.

Yelp
I had the best sandwich ever there. It was a muffaletta. I had the Italian beef and Italian sausage combo very lightly dip and their chocolate chip cookies are out of this world. The deli people are very nice. it's quite a nice warm friendly place actually if you haven't been go.
google avatar

Trace M.

Yelp
The traditions at Christmas would not be possible without the selection at Glorioso's. Also, I love your gift boxes for my friends and family. (Picked up an apron for a gift as well)! Promettimi che sarai sempre qui.
google avatar

Jessica J.

Yelp
Going to Glorioso's is always a five-star-decision. This specialty food store is great for all of your Italian food needs, from wine and pastas to meats, cheeses, baked goods and fresh produce. However we most often stop here to take advantage of their delicious deli options! We popped in to grab lunch the other day as my husband was craving their Italian beef sandwich, and he definitely got his fix. I hoping for some yummy soup but ham and potato was on special that day, and that's really not my thing. Instead, I had a delicious and flavorful salad. It was my first time having the Sicilian Salad and I would 10/10 order it again. The herb roasted chicken was tender, mixed in with greens kalamata olives, marinated artichokes, red onion, capers, grape tomatoes and red wine vinaigrette. Yep, a win. Also, A+ for updated safety precautions.

Richard M D.

Yelp
Food was slow but pretty decent, the dessert is by the pound and the dish itself served makes up lions share of the weight you pay for
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
I might love this Italian market more than the one I grew up with down in Hollywood, FL. Small selection of fresh produce, both fresh and frozen pastas, an extensive imported and local cheese and meat section, dried goods and lots of imported treats. The real stars of this place are the counters along the perimeter. Fresh gelato with rotating flavors, a coffee bar, cookie case, dessert case, take and bake pizzas, premade sauces and meals, and then the deli counter. The deli counter does drags sandwiches, to-order sliced meats and cheeses, prepared salads, olives, and a huge selection of prepared foods. It's absolutely a place to stop in for a sandwich, eat it on the patio (when it's not -2 outside, or even when it is, you do you) and then go back in and pick up dinner or the ingredients for dinner. Absolutely a must stop when I'm in town!

Yelp
My husband and I got married on April 16, 2022. We had a rehearsal dinner the night before at Broken Bat Brewery. The brewery doesn't serve food, so we were in need of catering for our group. I love Italian food and have always wanted to try Glorioso's, so this was the perfect time to experience their delicious food! I inquired about catering for our event and was in touch with Lori. She is a great communicator and extremely helpful. After email exchanges, we met her in person at the market. Lori helped us decide what to get, as well as guided us on how much food to order for our group size. Glorioso's has so many options, it was hard to choose! They even helped cater to a couple of our vegan guests. Catering the actual event went smoothly and we couldn't be happier with the service! They delivered promptly and did a quick set-up. Everyone at our rehearsal dinner kept talking about the food. Anyone else I reached out to about catering, gave us a higher quote. We were surprised with the amount of food (and quality) Glorioso's offered for such an affordable price. After this, we plan on being regulars and getting food from the market anytime we're on that side of town. Everything is delicious and they are a perfect catering choice if you're going the Italian route!

Yelp
A fun little place to score authentic Italian treats, from pasta and sauce to gelato and fresh sandwiches. I was gifted some gift cards from friends recently, which is great because this is a bit of an expensive place to shop. Some of that is due to higher quality as well as expensive real estate on the lower east side of Milwaukee. I like their selection of chilled and frozen pasta, their sauces are quite good as well. The deli doesn't always get your order right, but staff is always friendly and efficient. Definitely a place to visit if you need to get some Italian items for a meal.
google avatar

Viv P.

Yelp
Italian market with pretty much everything Italian you need. (I think... I'm not Italian) They have a large selection of meats and sausages, deli items, and dinner stuff. I picked up 2 arancinis - meat (tomato) and proscuitto (cream). Both were quite good and quite huge. But I'm not sure they were worth $5 each. I would definitely be picking these up more if they were $3 each. I also saw some crabcakes, but didn't get them because they were also quite highly priced at $4.50 (I can get good ones at Sendiks for a buck when they're on sale, which is often) Also had a hot Milwaukee Muffalatta with lettuce, tomato and onions. Had to wait a minute because their breads were just coming in at 8:30AM and of course I wanted new rolls. I think the bread would have been better toasted. still, it was good. And oozing oil. But to be truly honest, I think I actually am just as happy with a Wreck from Potbelly (large is comparable in size). I've also had fresh proscuitto cut for me here - and that was delicious. I love the authentic feel of the market, and the selection. But it's a little out of the way for me, and I probably won't be making my way over here just for their deli items.

Maureen H.

Yelp
A great experience! Lots of Italian based products. Service was excellent and workers were friendly and very helpful. Jaden from the meat shop was so helpful and was able to answer our questions. Deserts had delicious options. Definitely will be back.

Joanne W.

Yelp
Everything I've tried--and their selection is seriously huge--has been pretty wonderful, but the arrancini are beyond the beyond. Savory ground beef in the middle, enrobed in rice and a few veggies, and then the resulting softball-sized sphere is deep-fried. All the fat, carbs and calories you'll need for the week, but absolutely worth it. Also, their olive selection rocks. And parking is easy-peasy if you avoid the meters on Brady and go down one of side streets.

Yelp
I stumbled on this place while walking down Brady st. I was craving some sort of old world beef sticks, but I settled for proscuitto and cold butter on a hard roll! When I bit into this sandwich I was treleported back to a time where I was sitting at Grandmas kitchen table having a sandwich and coffee with her on a spring afternoon! The food at this place is sooooo good, it will flood you with past memiors if you have them. Stop in and relive great times with awesome food!

Yelp
We've had good sandwiches from Glorioso's early in the summer, but it seems there was a hiccup or downturn in the quality of food recently. We ordered the Milwaukee Muffalatta, prosciutto and caprese sandwiches and a greek salad. The muffalatta was good, seemed fresh. The prosciutto sandwich was lacking in flavor and in substance (felt like bread with no seasoning) and the vegetables inside weren't fresh. The prosciutto was understandably not excessive, which added to the lack in flavor. The caprese- which has been tasty in the past- was cold (supposed to be a warm sandwich) and didn't seem very fresh and lacked flavor (maybe needed more basil? salt? not sure). The only saving grace was the greek salad (with chicken), which was super fresh and tasty, giant artichokes and fresh cherry tomatoes, the chicken was seasoned perfectly and was also fresh. The best thing was the amazing accompanying vinaigrette dressing. They have curbside pickup and put it right in your car. Will try again once COVID passes.

Yelp
I walked in and was immediately transported to Italy. I absolutely love this market! You can find all the imported Italian goodies from truffle products to coffee and pastries. We went straight for the coffee bar. While their coffees are Americanized, they were still good. We got a couple of their lemon cello cookies. To die for. Found baci candies and a white Rosa regale. I've never seen that only the red. If we hadn't walked there, we'd have bought all sorts of things.

Yelp

Yelp
Glorioso's is an experience/ outing. It is a fun place to shop. Their sandwiches are amazing and they have great heat and serve dinner options such as meatballs, eggplant Parmesan, and chicken piccata. Their desserts are amazing too. It is difficult to go there and not pick up a cannoli or other delectable creation. After visiting Greece and Italy over the summer, I am very picky when it comes to balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Glorioso's is my go to for these items. I even found crumpets and yummy honey butter that satisfies my Canadian roots. They also have a wide selection of Italian wine. Go check Glorioso's out, you won't regret it.

Yelp
They have amazing food options but decent amount of the staff were being blatantly racist and racially motivated with their service, tone, attitude, etc. My mother was treated with horrible disrespect and the previously addressed racism. However, if you're white, great place to eat and buy your Italian goods!

Yelp
Glorioso is a fantastic Italian market. Since moving from Milwaukee, we still love to visit Glorioso whenever we are nearby. Their Italian sausage and beef (we recommend getting their Chicago combo, which is both the beef and a sausage with giardiniera) is the best we've ever had. It's juicy and flavorful. You could get either mild or hot. If you like Italian food or just want a good lunch, you cannot pass this place up.

Yelp
A nice store with high prices but it is what it is. I'm mainly leaving this review due to the treatment my girlfriend and I received at the deli counter from a woman named Sadie. When she finally decided to help us, her tone was VERY short and put-out. My girlfriend asked about how many meatballs were in a pound and her reply was a swift "I dunno". Girlfriend asked for six meatballs and Sadie said "Ya know, we have them pre-packed in sauce" in a way that really said "Why are you bothering me with this?" We asked for a few more items and Sadie was snippy and short throughout the interaction. She REALLY didn't like when we asked what the arancini were stuffed with. It was as if we were idiots for not already knowing everything about the store. We'll be avoiding Sadie if we ever go back to the store at all.

Yelp
Bad customer service and the sandwiches are not worth the price. Spend your money else where.

Yelp
My food was so bad I asked for a refund for my food. There were 6 of us, pizza was wrong, Italian sausage was a joke. Leaving disappointed

Yelp
Growing up in the Milwaukee 'burbs, Glorioso's Italian bread was a staple on our counter. A piece smothered with butter was the perfect snack after a night of hide and seek with the neighborhood kids. Fast forward thirty years and now I'm bringing the family into Glorioso's while we're back in town. This place did not disappoint! Know this before you go: You may want to buy A LOT. From fresh pasta to gelato to powdered sugar cannoli chips, this market has it all. The staff is friendly and the food is fabulous. When in MKE, rest assured that a visit to Glorioso's deserves a place on your itinerary.

Yelp
Really good Italian market to find your favorite Italian ingredients that you can't find at your local grocery store. So far everything I have bought here has been good quality.
