Stumbling upon Glory Days, Beach Side Grill has been a truly refreshing experience, making it a place too good not to share. Its fusion of laid-back ambiance and inventive cuisine is a delightful surprise that left a lasting impression. Let's start with the setup - spacious and welcoming with a dash of sports bar energy, thanks to the array of monitors scattered around. It's a bright and inviting space, perfectly suited for chilling with a laptop, watching the game, or simply enjoying the beach view. Their "Pastrami Tacos" were an unexpected revelation. I've never seen such a creative interpretation of the humble taco before, and I must say, it works wonders. The crunch of onions and cabbage, coupled with the tender pastrami and an enigmatic sauce, all wrapped in a soft corn tortilla - an experience not to be missed! Complimenting the delightful food was the stellar service. The staff was present just when needed, delivering food and drinks promptly, but with a soft touch that lets you enjoy your meal at your own pace. To sum it up, Glory Days, Beach Side Grill is not just a cool spot to hang out; it's a place that presents an adventurous culinary journey, top-notch service, and a relaxing atmosphere. And those brilliant tacos are just the icing on the cake. It's a resounding five-star from me.

Google
We were first timers here. The place was lively and it had a fun vibe. Stopped by for some karaoke on Wednesday night. We had a blast!! KJ was very professional and fun. System was great, the karaokeers were fun, and very friendly. A great night was had. Oh and the food was pretty darn tasty 😋. We had fish n chips.

Sports Bar with great burgers...Burger Bash on Thursdays. Lots of screens with a variety sports and entertainment. Can be loud so be ready. 😎Cool place😎

Google
Just minutes from the Seal Beach pier. Burger Thursday are awesome! Make sure you are hungry! Came back later for a pint and some munchies 😊

Google
Its an ok sports bar but the wait for service and food was a little long (although the place was literally empty). Hate to see what it would be on a packed night. Wings were pretty good and my daught said the burger was good as well. The real turn off was the "service charge" for the use of a credit card. Usually unheard of for this level of restaurant. In reality any meal here would be between $50 to $150 depending on the size of the party. And most people dont carry that much cash on them, especially to go out for dinner or drinks. One is to wonder how much Glory Days is making on credit card charges. Highly doubt the credit card company charges them $2.00 to process the payment. I know its only $2.00 but its the principle. At least i wont be back until they remove that service charge.

Google
The Pastrami Tacos were amazing and the mozzarella sticks were delicious. Chill environment, good food. I will definitely visit again.

Yelp
Seal Beach LW Bike Club - had a great ride Mother's Day morning, and we decided to hit Glory Days For breakfast, and our large group was accommodated and seated right away. Breakfast was great, and the Service was even better. We will be back for sure !

Yelp
Great sports bar with live band on weekends. Chili over Fritos: chili with beans, overfish Fritos with cheese and onions. The chili house made so light and paired perfect with Fritos in a bowl. So good. Chili nachos: big portion. Chili, cheese, etc, covered all fresh crispy chips Dessert: ice cream over warm cinnamon donut-ish pastry. Light & yummy Friendly staff but food order does take a little bit to hit the table.
google avatar

Drew M.

Yelp
First time here and I really wasn't impressed with the service. The food was good but it seemed like the servers were more concerned with talking to each other then waiting on tables. It was a waiting game, wait for menus, wait for food, flag down the waiter to get more drinks, flag him down for the check, not once did he come check on us. The worst part is the place wasn't even busy. I mean there were people there but all the tables weren't full and the bar wasn't full. Just a bad experience.
google avatar

Thomas K.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and service. The food is mediocre and bit over priced. Larger Buffalo wings $31.99 came out dry and chewy...big disappointment. Their Burgers are the best thing on the menu, doesn't come with any fries, extra. The fries were dry and no flavor either.
google avatar

Alex A.

Yelp
So this place reminds me of CHEERS. Now....if you dont know what that means...then YOU ARE TOO YOUNG for this place lol. It is totally a big dive bar. Its a hangout...with good music...and good bar food. If people expect a BOUGIE EXPERIENCE....sorry...you shouldn't go. Its definitely a locals hangout or...just to have some beers on a summer day. Apparently football season kicks off really well too. Thanks everyone...you guys are great people & we appreciate you Sharon & Nolan....you guys are great

Yelp
We sat at the bar immediately on a Saturday morning. We asked if they could change the channel and put on the OU TCU game and they did, no problem. Service was top-notch! We ordered a mimosa (delish, but it's hard to mess up a mimosa), a bloody mary (it was okay, had a little but of spice and some horseradish) and the avocado jack bacon omelet which was very tasty. We didn't realize how big this place was but it was a cool spot to have a bite to eat and some drinks while watching football. We would be back if we lived in the area.

Yelp
Kelsea was our waitress tonight during Veterans Day. I can't overstate enough how great her and all the other staff's hospitality & work ethics is at Glory Days Seal Beach. Thank-you Kelsea for welcoming me and my girlfriend Kathy to this etablishment. The owner and management team truly picked a winning team staff.
google avatar

Mary R.

Yelp
We loved our lunch with hamburger and a cheese pizza! Everything was so fresh and tasty. Felicia, our server was so friendly and prompt. What a hard working gal! She really made our visit worth wild.
google avatar

Celeste M.

Yelp
Just finished a 5K and wanted some breakfast. I told R to just pick a close place so we found this one. We got there at 8:30am when they should have been open per door sign but the lady said they weren't ready yet but we could come in for some coffee. Unfortunately the best part of it all was the strong coffee. I ordered the Big J but it had too much chunks of cheese but the veggies seemed fresh. R ordered the Hawaiian but she came back saying it would take 30 minutes because the rice wasn't ready. He then ordered an omelette with wheat toast which she then came back again and said they were out of wheat toast. R said, "The food was just okay." Sorry but we won't be coming back. On a positive note, the server lady was nice.

Jacob B.

Yelp
Nope. If it's not fried, don't bother. And if it is fried, don't expect much. Ordered a cheese plate, and they brought me something rejected from the Lunchables factory--with the dirt from the backstaff's hands on the cheese! Poor ventilation and no AC. They sold the place and have clearly given up trying. Staff is cool, but that doesn't come close to making up for the terrible food offerings. (I changed this from 2 stars to 3 stars after finding out I wouldn't be charged for the "food." Again, cool staff and meh food.)
google avatar

Kim H.

Yelp
I've only been here to see my friend's band, but my friends have raved about the food especially the wings. No AC though, so on a night like last night no Bueno. Lol. But I love the beachy wibr sports bar. My friend said it's a Georgia bar, so if you're a Georgia fan stop by.
google avatar

KG G.

Yelp
Please check your receipts compared to the menu. I was charged $5.25 more for a full wings order and $1 more for a house salad. Q: Can a restaurant charge you a different price than the menu? A: Yes, a restaurant always reserves the right to charge less than the stated price on the menu. However, they are not permitted to charge you more than the price stated on the menu.
google avatar

Christopher T.

Yelp
Place is great. Local vibe. Older crowd. Lots of cougars. Live music. Who doesn't love a good sports bar like this. Also.... The ranch dressing is amazing. Taste great on everything!
google avatar

Alma M.

Yelp
Came in for drinks and loved the atmosphere. I ordered a spicy cucumber margarita and it had to have been one of the best ones I have had. The bartender was very friendly. The baseball game was on and they have a lot of TVs all over (sports bar feeling). They had a small arcade room for the kids.
google avatar

Harold M.

Yelp
Great locals bar. Great vibe. Really good bands. Excellent service. Come hang out and have a blast!

Gene A.

Yelp
To the new owner Marni. We have the room in front reserved for September 23, 2023 from 1-5pm. For Lakewood High reunion. Please let me know immediately if we will be able to still have our party there. Thank you Gene 323-697-7197. We had our reunion there last year and it went great. Appreciate a quick response.
google avatar

Billy R.

Yelp
Both were supposed to have scrambled eggs and they are not fluffy at all. Will definitely not be coming back here. Took 40 minutes to get 2 simple breakfast plates.
google avatar

Jeanette W.

Yelp
Went here for St. Patty's Day shenanigans. The bar and restaurant we somewhat crowded. They had great music by the Apes, so that's a plus in my book. The service could have been a tad better, but they were busy, so i can let that go. What i can't let go is those so called jumbo wings. They were dry and unedible and very small not jumbo at all. Other than that fun place.

Sue U.

Yelp
Great weekend hangout. Good food, music and people. Heard it wad sold though. We shall see

Yelp
Not sure I should even give it the extra star. Probably more like a one star, but I'm feeling generous right now. First off, WAY too expensive. We had one beer, one burger and some fries for $40. If they lowered their prices by even 10% I might come back. Oh but wait...there's the service. We were there 10 minutes with the menus set down before anyone came over. Food took forever, probably about 20-25 minutes. Once we got our food, we were never checked on. When we were done with our food, we waited about 15 minutes before we finally saw our waiter. My BF had to go up and tell him we wanted our check. Not cool. I had even contemplated just leaving $40 and walking out. Which is exactly what we did once at the Lakewood location for the very same reason. Waited and waited to see our waitress. This place obviously doesn't give a crap about their customers. As long as the drunks come in and drink they couldn't care less about their dining customers. Won't be back to either location. Dick, I hope you read these reviews!

Andrew A.

Yelp
Dickie was our server tonight , we came in with a party of 8 , he was great!always offered refills, sauces , etc . Food was good , I loved the wings, and can't beat a 5$ burger . Only downside was games didn't work so well for our little ones ! Other than that can't complain !
google avatar

Malik R.

Yelp
Ahh.. this was a little different. I won't lie. Big shoutout to Jake (from State Farm)..and Pamela. They were able to revive our experience and make this a place I would come back to. Initially, the lady named brittany was extremely rude... to the point to where we were going to leave, and take our business elsewhere. I don't want to make this review about her...but she was disgusting. Overall the experience was decent. It was a family gathering with the game in the background so...kinda hard not to enjoy that. Pamela ntroduced me to a few west coast IPA beers that were pretty dope and I tried them all. The food was ...ahh decent. The fam got burgers, and I got a terayaki veggie bowl. It wasn't all that...but probably the better things in the menu. The verdict is, I won't prolong this review...chances are I won't be back. Sorry. The idea was nice, but i can't say the experience lived up to the expectation.

Yelp
Service went down hill and the food was cold when it finally arrived. My grandson corn dog was cold in the middle.

Hilary D.

Yelp
I had such a delicious burger! And my waitresss was attentive, and she changed one of the many TV's to my game. I'll be back

Ryan G.

Yelp
The food is good, the service is terrible, by far the worst customer service i have ever seen in resturant!!
google avatar

Joe M.

Yelp
First time eating here. The yelp reviews are not that good. I had a lunch special which was the turkey melt. It came out hot, fresh and delicious. It was not busy but it is large seating area around the bar plus booths and a lot of TVs that should be fun for sports. Service was very good.
google avatar

Bonnie G.

Yelp
4 stars for a sports bar? Yes. Why? It's simple. If you need a place to recover from the Great Storms and Flooding of Seal Beach 2017 and you're completely stressed out from driving white knuckled while navigating tons of flooded/closed roads and your hotel is flooded, this is the place to go. Sit at a hightop, tell your server/bartender that you're completely over these storms, your nerves are shot, and order a White Russian. Trust his heavy hand and your nerves will be at ease! Good times!
google avatar

Tara R.

Yelp
If I could give them zero stars I would. Absolutely the worst breakfast I have had at a restaurant. That shit was worse than Army food and I have served for thirty years. I wish I would have taken pictures. The chicken fried steak was unrecognizable. It was a glob. Gravy and chicken both tasted disgusting. The pancakes were extremely undercooked. You could still taste the batter. Service with attitude. Never going back....

Terri B.

Yelp
The crowd is really old...70s. We went to hear the band. Layout of the restaurant is lacking ..no space at all to dance. Don't know what they were thinking but..remove some of the tables to make room for ppl.. Weird set-up. Attracts retired locals ....
google avatar

Rick S.

Yelp
Don't waste your time! Called at 8:30 pm and was told they don't close till 11. Tried 12 times to place an order after 9 pm when I checked out their menu on-line and always got a busy signal. Drive down at 9:40 and the place was locking up, but all the TVs on and employees inside. Tapped on window and got a server and they verified the phone number and was told they got the go ahead to close at 10. AGAIN! It was 9:40! Don't waste your time!!!!!!!! Not worth the effort! Look at the times posted on Yelp....open 11am and closed at 11pm
google avatar

Chris V.

Yelp
Horrible service. Not friendly at all. Waitress ignored us a couple of times. Brought me sugar and creamer for coffee just in time to have my coffee still warm. Customer service is very important to me and this place did not cut it at all. Should have looked up Yelp reviews before walking in.
google avatar

Shannon R.

Yelp
Was super disappointed with this restaurant, there wasn't many people there and it took our server an extremely long time to take our order. He brought several people around us the wrong food as we could hear them complaining. When we finally did get our food of fish and chips it was the poorest quality fish I've ever seen like a frozen fish stick. My husbands food came in a Styrofoam box and mine came in a basket. We received our appetizer that we ordered along side with our meal. Our french fries weren't cooked all the way through and we had to ask for condiments several times. Lastly there was 2.50 Cent service charge added to my bill. There was no advance indication that we'd be charged a fee it wasn't on the receipt and there was no information as to what we were being charged for. This is the last time we will eat at this restaurant.
google avatar

Ellen A.

Yelp
Thank you so much to the staff and Coach T at Glory Days, Seal Beach for the awesome service and helping us put together our Engagement/Birthday party. The tacos tasted amazing, we had plenty of space for guests, and even had an extra space for us to display our own cupcakes and party favors. The live band was the cherry on top! Had a small mix up with the initial price we were quoted for the event but was rectified quickly! Overall, it was such an awesome night for our Taco themed party. I would highly recommend this place for events of any occasion. 5 stars from me!
google avatar

Kelly E.

Yelp
Our first time to this location. It was a half way meeting spot for friends from Lakewood and Huntington Beach. We were very skeptical because some of the reviews weren't that great. What a pleasant surprise! The place was packed (Sunday afternoon football crowd). We were lucky to find a table. Our waitress, Felicia, greeted us immediately and took our drink order. She was back quickly with our cold beers. Food arrived quickly, also. The food was great (chicken salads and burger). Felicia was so accommodating and helped us find a table closer to the Dodger game we wanted to watch. Overall, a great experience!!
google avatar

Adam B.

Yelp
I write this only because I think there is potential here; however, this place was bad when I went. I live in LB now and thought OC is opening up, so maybe Glory Days will capitalize and take some of us who would normally go to Legends or Riley's or something... So, I was so wrong! I ordered an Avocado, Bacon omelet that was $13. When it arrived (on a paper plate), the server literally threw it on my table and said "enjoy"! I get it, it's a sports bar, but, come on, the service here is just plain bad! Trying to get beers refilled is a chore. Nobody seems to care either, so I'll just go elsewhere from now on. I came here on Day 1 of NFL Football, 2020 thinking this could be a nice place to hang out. Unfortunately now, I have no plans on coming back.
google avatar

R L.

Yelp
After many visits tonight was a negative!!! First they no longer have a happy hour specials. The do have the regular daily specials. We charged the dinner and when the charge receipt was presented it has an extra couple of dollars on it. The waitress said it's a service charge. This brought out a minor dissatisfaction. The waitress said you can just take it out of my tip. No the waitress worked hard and gets her tip. The final SIGNED bill deducted the service charge. The manager said it's posted on the door and menu in compliance with state law. On our exit we did find a small sign saying "cash discount". No !! The menu price is cash then they add extra if you charge it. Oh well, read all the signs on a restaurant door before you enter, the cash discount was one of 11 signs on the doors. Actually we don't need to read it anymore as there are many restaurants in the

Yelp
We went last night w/my karaoke buddies & the bar/restaurant was really clean, sanitized & organized as far as complying w/CDC covid safety guidelines! Special thanks to Karaoke hosts Vivacious Victoria & Scary Larry for being so gracious & considerate in providing a sanitized Karaoke environment! The staff also made sure that heat towers were available & functioning to all patrons dining outside! We will definitely be back frequenting this place!!
google avatar

Narciso L.

Yelp
This is a very nice sports bar. It has open air exterior/interior that is so trendy right now. Great drinks and very good food. Tons of TVs playing the latest sports shows and live games. Very family friendly so that means lots of kids are about. The best thing going on here is that they sell one of the best root beers available anywhere, and from a tap! They have barrels delivered regularly. Unfortunately, this place can be a bit pricey for what they serve. They do have daily food specials which I highly recommend if you have a family to feed. Drinks are average for this location due to its location (Seal Beach) and their delicious Root Beer is a bit pricey as well. Cash and CC accepted. Very roomy with lots of seating available in booths, long tables, and bar counter. Ample parking as there are a lot of other eateries and businesses around that area. Private areas available for private parties and events.
google avatar

Randy L.

Yelp
for the food and for the service. Had the omelet with cheese, mushrooms, and sausage with eggs soft. The chef did a great job. But it took 15 minutes to get the food. And they forgot to complete the meal with the toast, no biggie but just added to the poor experience. Was greeted immediately upon entering but did not see the waitress for 12 minutes. When ordering, she asked me to repeat the 3 ingredients for omelet, not once, not twice, not three, but FIVE TIMES. She said she was distracted. Ok so let's see how the rest goes. She never came back to the table once after taking our order, having the busboy bring us the food. She only returned 10 minutes AFTER we had finished eating. My friend and I concluded this waitress was very friendly but a bit ditzy. Would I return? Only if it was the last choice and I was starving. The McD's next door gives better service.

Mrs. L.

Yelp
We've been there for burgers, which are okay. Went there for a pizza: NO! Don't do it. For almost $30 dollars, we got an undercooked pizza with pretty raw dough in the center. And we ordered it thin crust! How can they screw up a thin crust pizza? Yuck. We try to support local places, but this was just lousy food. And mediocre service. We won't be back.
google avatar

Darin T.

Yelp
In a word: expensive. $9 for a pint of Modelo? Eek. Supposedly they Jack up prices when they have a band going. Uhhh... ok. $13 for a burger, and you have to throw an extra FOUR bucks to get fries (which were not great) to upgrade from a lousy bag of chips. The burger was good and the service was solid though. But I won't be going back if I'm expected to drop $60 on a burger, fries and a few beers. And the band was meh too. Pass.
google avatar

Erika C.

Yelp
If I could give no stars then I would. Terrible service from an immature bartender. Came in here Saturday night with my friends and the bartender was just projecting! Like sis I don't know what her problem was with my friends but it seemed like she had personal issues and was taking it out on them at work. Do not get PAM! Honestly get another person. Nolan on the other hand was amazing! Thank you for your service :)
google avatar

Yelp
awesome fun place Great hamburgers and many choices of beers Loved the outdoor patio!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely a great hangout ! We sit on the patio with our dog ...we always great service ...even though we are out of sight ...ordered a couple of drinks and Jake our waiter was very attentive to our needs ..water got the dog , if we were ready for another drink ...5 stars for this young man ...dinner was good ..we got a couple of salads thinking we need to cut a few calories..then of course that meant another drink ...

Yelp
Gee! This place has an aggressive sale people. I was asked in two hours 26 times if everything was okay. There was a good band playing and locals was enjoying the music and dancing having a good time after being locked for so long with the Covid issue. We drove so far to enjoy this new place with my friend. I barely could have a conversation with my girlfriend all the time being interrupted. Super annoying and not okay, besides the ladies room smells like a fish market with spoiled fish there. I can tell this smell stinks for long time is an old smell people are cleaning the restrooms like they clean their homes I guess . Not only the two problems mentioned above there's one more. For me a meaningful one because it mess with your pocket. The bill came with few $$$ more and when I asked the older waitress who was still on duty she said: the extra $$$ was for the band. None had told me that?? Was literally a new information. Learn with me if you go there for mistake because I don't recommend this place to anybody be aware that the prices whiteout the band are cheaper as soon the band starts you're paying more for everything that you ask. None gives you this information up front. I don't like liars and dishonest people. Hiding information is really bad is something that I don't tolerate. I will never return to this tacky sports place with tacky people tacky personal and stinky bathrooms. Argh!

Yelp
Every sailor needs a safe harbor from the storm. & on a torrentially stormy night when many streets in Seal Beach were completely underwater, the relatively high & dry ground of Glory Days Beachside Grill was that safe harbor for my partner in crime & I. We just needed a place to wait out the rains & pass the time while the flood waters receded. & while we were at it, to get our booze & grub on in the meantime. Considering the conditions & circumstances, service really did make all the difference. That's why I'm rating our diluvial experience here 5 stars. Our server was welcoming, friendly, sympathetic to our plight, & made every effort to lighten the mood & reduce our stress. That included pouring some seriously strong drinks for my partner & giant steins of Sculpin for me. In addition to liquid encouragement to lift our spirits, we had an order of Fried Zucchini & an order of Onion Rings to nosh on. Both were big servings & excellent for sports bar fare: crispy, steaming hot inside, & not greasy. Both were deliciously distracting from the situation. On a typical day, without Biblical rainfall outside, I suspect I might rate Glory Days Beachside Grill 4 stars based on food/ drink/ venue/ ambiance/ decor. But on a night when the whole World looked to be sinking, service was above & beyond enough for me to add a 5th star.
google avatar

Erwin R.

Yelp
5 stars for Shy (spelling?) our waitress. She was on it!!! I am a long time patron of the lakewood location and figured the arcade would be 50% out of order but here, of 20 games only 3 worked!! My 5yo son really wanted me to add that to the review and taken into account. Aside from the broken down arcade the wings were over cooked and not sauced. Im in the area today for a firework show, next time i want wings ill go see the lakewood location.
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
Been going to this place for years....now if you pay with a card they hit you with a 3% service charge!!! Since when did restaurants start doing this??? Is the restaurant starting to fail??? They can absorb the cost of doing business or raise the prices $.05-$.10? Kind of a joke if you ask me, I guess we will only be visiting this place if we have cash in hand. It's been real Glory Days...peace out!!!

Allison M.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this place and today we did. We both purchased the burgers and they were very good. The burgers come with potato chips. You can get the fries with the burger for $3.95. We ordered one order of fries and a beer and a glass of wine. When I asked for the check the waiter brought his hand held machine and told us the total was $53.00. I gave him my credit card and asked for a receipt (since he didn't show us a bill). He didn't bring us a receipt. We asked again. He brought us the receipt. The menu said my wine was $7 but on the receipt it was $8. They charged $7.95 for an order of fries but the menu said $3.95. We didn't see the waiter again to ask him. I thought this could be a new regular place for us but I felt they were dishonest.
