9 Best Local Eats in Singapore | Condé Nast Traveler

"Part shop, part cafe, this institution has been a part of childhood for many who grew up in the historic Katong enclave. Visitors can buy traditional Peranakan kueh (cakes), coconut candy, and great popiah (spring roll). Try the kueh bingka (tapioca cake) and the gold-hued fish-shaped jellies made from seaweed. The latter is a rare sweet that's hard to find anywhere else." - Annette Tan

My family and I are huge fans of Glory's CNY goodies. They have probably the most scrumptious pineapple tarts we have ever tasted, and their M&M cookies are just the yummiest - our new favorites! Actually, everything else we have ordered from Glory is fantastic. As importantly, their customer service team led by Wen is absolutely the best. They actually take the initiative to personally update their regular customers on their CNY offerings, and they are always prompt in their replies even during outside office hours. For all these reasons, Glory has remained our first stop for CNY goodies for years and we hope they will be around for a long long time! They make our CNY celebrations complete!

2023 Chinese Lunar New Year, the Glory Pineapple Tarts (open flower shape) was quite tasty. The dough was thin and not too oily. The pineapple was well cooked and tasty not too sweet. Stocks ran out fast at Ntuc Supermarket. Currently it is still out of stock on many platforms. Can still be improved so the dough will not break easily. And more spices to make it more fragrant.

My family is the new customer from Singapore after some research from the google. We bought some boxes and tins of cookies with different favours from the shop at Mong Kok side. The biscuits were so good that melt in your mouth, the smell was so buttery and the texture was so fine. I will introduce to my frens who viisting Hong Kong in near future👍

Recently i bought from SPC a packet of Golden Bonbon Maple Nougat A L'erable from a local SPC kiosk. When i opened and tasted a piece, i immdiately spat it out! The nougat melted in the wrapper and had strange smell. The almond had this stale nut bad smell... I want to alert consumer not to be cheated by this Glory imported made in Canada product by ASTI Holdings Ltd. I kept the packet in case anyone doubt my feedback can gave a taste of it! I hope this company will do something about it.

Bought pineapple tarts and fish ball crackers from Giant Hyperstore at Tampines. Tarts were sourish and crackers were hard/not crispy at all. Expiry date 28/10/24. Disappointed.
