Man, I pull up on this spot as an Uber driver, right?
I’d seen Cloudy Donuts before — that cinnamon crunch ad hit my Instagram.
I don’t even eat donuts like that, but I said, nah, that one look worth trying.
Today I had a pickup from them, and soon as I got there, I could feel it — lights outside, the whole setup got swag. They really trying to make everything work. Maybe the lights don’t pull every customer, maybe the swag don’t matter to some — but they giving everything a shot. I love that.
First time I picked up from them, the customer told me, “Yeah, I ordered from them before — they good.”
Today I had another one — she ordered from their website by mistake, couldn’t pick it up, so she went right back and ordered again through Uber. That tells you the spot got people’s attention.
I still haven’t even tried the donuts myself — I don’t do sweets — but man, if you do, go get that cinnamon crunch joint.
